Ted Faturos from Manhattan Beach, California

(CNN) — Ted Faturos from Manhattan Beach, California asks: Nothing says delicious like cheap corn subsidized by the American taxpayer. For a lot of Americans however, a bitter taste is left in their mouth when they learn about how the U.S. taxpayer bankrolls billions of dollars in farm subsidies that mostly go to large, agro-business interests. I am curious which candidates who label themselves fiscally responsible will endorse the elimination of farm subsidies if they are elected president in 2008.

What did you think about the candidates' response to the question? What would you have asked? Whoever says lets get rid of the farm sudsides and replace it with an insurance program will get my vote.
I am tired of filling the pockets of the corporate farmers and the oil companies.
