WASHINGTON (CNN) — In conjunction with tonight's debate, Republican presidential candidates are using the Web to engage their supporters and keep them updated throughout the event.

The online content from the Republican candidates is not as comprehensive as what we've seen from their Democratic counterparts in previous debates, but they're playing catch up.

Here's a roundup of what the some of the Republican candidates are doing on the Web:

On his campaign Web site, former Sen. Fred Thompson has been encouraging his supporters to host or attend a debate-watching party.

Sen. John McCain's official blog has an open forum where supporters can pitch in with their comments. A McCain staffer also is live-blogging the debate.

Over at Ron Paul's online headquarters, the Texas Congressman has enlisted his army of supporters to create a 30-second campaign video. CNN asked each candidate to make a video to be shown during the debate.

Of all the Republican candidates, former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney is touting the most debate-related material online. His "Debate Central" web site is keeping frequently updating with videos of Romney's answers, along with supplemental rapid-response material ranging from Romney's stance on issues ranging from taxes and abortion to attacks on former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani's stance on immigration.

EVERYONE KNOWS RON PAUL OWNS THE INTERNET.

AL GORE INVENTED IT, RON PAUL OWNS IT.

Seriously, Ron Paul has MUCH MUCH more information and support on the internet than all the other candidates from BOTH parties COMBINED.

Everyone knows that.
