Aidyn, NY, NY "Hillary wants the best for this country how about people start listening to what she has to say and then judge her."

We have, she has done nothing but say what she thinks voters want to hear so she can be elected.
How about we look at her track record?
Oh we did, that actually took less time than to read your post. She is a do nothing, say anything to get what she wants.
It's always the same thing from her, take credit when it is good even if it wasn't her work, lay blame on someone else if it is bad and let them take the fall.

Ie. Hillary Care, thats her experience, till it is brought up that it failed miserably. Then Bubba takes the fall for its failure.

Anyone who says a vote for Obama puts republicans in the white house, is as big a plant as this girl was for Hillary's question.

In all polls to date, if HRC runs against the top 5 republicans she loses by 5 - 25%.
If Obama runs against them he WINS by 5 - 25%.

According to Hillary, she has been fighting the republicans for the past 15 years. Obama says he tries to compromise and work solutions out.

what do we want America?

Hillary fighting or Obama Uniting?

Not only is Obama pathetic for using the student but also again proving he is a master of dirty politics.

First of all, I disagree with you that Obama used this young woman.

Secondly, even if that were true, remember, Hillary used her first, so what does that make her.

barring any drastic changes Im voting for obama.. He doesnt need a plant because he can honestly answer the questions without having focus groups decide the answer by polling beforehand. Clinton is too much of a politician.. meaning she has no morals, no leadership, no actual vision for the country. ..she just feels the wind and votes whichever way is blowing her towards more power.

We need obama.. or actually any of the non clinton candidates on the dem side. They are the only ones that will take us off this ruinous course that we've been on for the last 7 years.

Hey Senator Barack Hussein Obama with all due respect if you miss important votes that you were elected to do, then Senator then you can't comment and stop making excuses. Your are not in Clintons league..
You need to learn the job you currently have before you can advance if ever…You lost my vote when you stooped to childish politics and the now trying to get Oprah to buy you votes..

All candidates miss a lot of votes at election time. Senators are elected to do a lot more than vote. The votes he has missed were decided by a wide margin anyway. Better to stand up and fight for the American people than to sit in washington and vote with Bush.

You think Senator Obama is not in Hillary Clinton's league so obviously you never considered voting for him in the first place.

Obama 2008

yea...

You know, my family fought for this country and helped to educate it. It pains me to see that there are still so many ignorant people out there. Have we learned nothing from all these years of seeing social security destroyed, our children growing up in schools where medal detectors are needed? Remember the time when your parents would actually make you go outside and play? Remember when you could do so without having to be in eyesight of your parents? You could actually ride your bike to the store? Those days are over. Our country has problems. Medicare, Immigration, Education, Economic, Foreign Policy. The way we have done it before is no longer acceptable and we and our children are paying for the mistakes of the past. How long are you going to ride the same old wave before you realize that the "experience" that you keep toting is the experience that got us to where we are today. It's time for a fresh outlook, a fresh way of looking at things, a fresh way of leading this country and its way of life as an example rather than pushing it on others, and its beyond time that we started thinking outside of the box about who is truly qualified to lead our country because the old way will not work in the future and with countries like China nipping at our heels we need to start thinking about that now. More than any other time we have a chance to change our course. Obama looks his opponents in the eyes when he addresses them, he is not afraid to talk about the tough issues even the ones that have affected him personally in life. It is because Obama is talking about real and defined change that people are so afraid. What you should really be scared of, is what happens if we continue this course? Hillary is the "safe" choice because she represents old politics...even the Republicans know that.

In what world do Giuliani and Romney have "experience" to a greater extent than Obama--or anyone else? Romney was a one-term governor in a state that would never re-elect him and Giuliani has never been involved with the Federal government on any level. Neither has a drip of foreign policy experience, and neither has connections or relationships in Congress. You can criticize Obama's experience against Biden's, Richardson's, McCain's, or even Huckabee's, but Giuliani and Romney? Come on!

To Ike Woodbridge , VA.

I totally agree with you. Democrats will regret the next 4 years if they elect Obama against Guliani or Romney. These 2 Republicans have resumes that only Clinton's and all other Democratic candidates except Obama's can withstand. Guiliani and Romney will will hit Obama with a type of experience that he will not resist.

Some Democrats simply want to see Obama beat Clinton for the wrong reasons. But let them wait for an Obama slap by Guliani or Romney. Republican know they can get back the Whitehouse if any of the 2 candidates stood against Obama because Obama has nothing to show for experience which will be the cornerstone of Republican assault. Then Democrats will be biting their fingers after thinking the next Prez will be Democrat by hook or crook.

This is probably the most devastating moment I've seen yet in the collapse of Hillary Clinton's campaign. Hillary came off as shrill and dishonest with the "Clinton Plant" thing. Then the same girl meets Obama and he comes off as geniune as he really is, giving her great response about not losing touch with who we are.

He's kicking Hillary's butt and I'm so grateful that we'll finally have a great man in office.

Please...the girl should be the one being questioned on her morals. She is the one who accepted taking the question and infact, the question re: global warming is one someone would have asked anyway so what is the big deal? I am so annoyed by people like her who use this kind of unimportant incident (if one can even call it that) for her own media spotlight, her one second of fame and getting her face in front of a camera. I would hope someone her age would actually be concerned with the real issues like global warming or healthcare in the US than making a fool of herself. And I am disappointed by Mr. Obama that he would even entertain her.

"You don’t have to compromise who you are," Obama said. "You have to make compromises, but not your core values."

That's why I'm voting for this man. That's unscripted, real and 100% right. We have to work together to defeat the common enemies: Terrorism, poverty, injustice and slumping economy. Republicans are not the enemy, they are Americans who disagree with us. There is a difference. Obama knows this, Hillary does not.

You can't say it any better than this. It's not about beating the republicans. I wonde how long it will take for people to realise this

If he were, he would also have 3 positions for each issue, change & flip-flop each week, claim that being a spouse is great experience, & send jobs overseas.
Why is it such a big deal that Clinton asked someone to ask her a question? She obviously wants to highlight an issue. Honestly I was an Obama supporter and even donated to him and attended his speeches, but this guy is just plain dumb.

His whole method of 'passive aggressiveness' is making me sick, man it up man, either attack her the way you're supposed to, or shut up, just don't try to act all innocent when you do it.

'Different kind of politics'...yeah sure.

Wish Al Gore would run to be honest.

Why don't you Clintonista nobs tell Hillary to stop doing and saying ridiculous things--such as planting questions--instead of blaming Obama.

Good God some of you are as illogical as Republicans that blame Bill Clinton for all of Bush's problems.

Do you not understand irony?

I'm going to have to agree with Tom, Dedham, Mass : December 5, 2007 3:55 pm on this one. I should mark my calendar, because it's a rare day when I agree with much of his politics, but on this point, he's right on the money.

You Clinton supporters need to realize that your attacks like the ones that we're seeing in this thread are the reasons that Obama's campaign is gaining in polls while Hillary's is falling. It's funny that so many jumped on his willingness to compromise, because Hillary is by far the most compromised candidate on the Democratic side.

Lastly, gotta love how the racists love to jump on Obama. I think I counted at least 3 comments regarding his "Muslim background/Hussein." He's not Muslim, but regardless, way to show that this country's tolerant nature. It's pretty bad when you can't attack a candidate over policy or even their personal lives, but instead on aspects that he received at birth.

Obama is such a fake, self-righteous, holier-than-thou type! I'm a Democrat, but he will never get my vote. I will either vote for a Republican or not vote in that particular election. I don't trust him and I don't like his antics. I can just imagine what he would do as President. He would be one of the least experienced Presidents since ... well George W. Bush!!! God help us!!

Obama's "dirty" tricks and racial pandering? The only ones who've brought up his race are his opponents, and while Hillary has bemoaned the "boys" for ganging up on her, Mr. Obama has actually taken a firm moral stand. Stop looking for excuses to discount Obama.

At this time 5:20pm ET there are "37" comments mostly bashing Obama in this blog. Hilary also has an article talking about her new Mortgage bill. It only received "2" comments from her supporters in the blog section. Hilary's article was actually posted a half an hour earlier than Obama's at 3:30pm. Why is this, do Clinotn supporters even know who they are rooting for? Have you read this article, and if so why not direct your energy to a positve channel of support, rather than a negative channel of hate. Or is it easier to name call than to read big words? Interesting stuff.

For those of you who do not see a problem with planted questions, I would like to suggest that maybe there's a problem with YOUR integrity as well. I don't care whether you are Clinton, Bush, or Obama, planting question shows a lack of integrity and I refuse to vote for someone whom I can't trust.

Let's stop being so partisan and look for the individual who can make the best decisions for ALL Americans. Like Bill Clinton said, I'll vote for good judgment over lots of experience ANY day!!!

Hoping in San Antonio
You don't trust Obama but you do trust Clinton? How much of that kool aid did your friend give you? Get her to release her records from her White House 'experience' and tell us everything about Vince Foster. Till then don't trust so blindly.

1) He is half white, but he purposedly ignores his whiteness and empahsized his blackness to get into harvard, and into politics.

2) He lost out to Hillary on various political issues, on experience, and on electability. Therefore, he plays dirty tricks, including push polling and spreading rumours against Hillary.

Wow, where to start?
1) Read "Dreams of My Father" and you will see a young man who was conflicted about his heritage, his racial mix. I'm sure he still struggles with it at times. It goes back to the whole "is he black enough crap."

2) Give your evidence of Obama's push polling and spreading of rumors on Hillary and you won't come off so bad. EVIDENCE, not Patti Solis-Doyle increasingly rabid responses. Do you find it curious or ironic that a day after Solis-Doyle accuses Obama's campaign of dirty tricks (one phone call from a volunteer in which a woman claims she was bullied by the Obama supporter during a 30-minute conversation) the Hillary campiagn is forced to fire an Iowa staffer for sending out the "Obama is a Muslim" e-mail. Check it out. It's all over the Internet but curiously missing from the Clinton CNews Network site right here. HMMMM....

Hillary Clinton

The "would-a, could-a, should-a" candidate in 2008....

"Would-a kept the United States out of Iraq had she known the truth about WMD's"

"Could-a voted against the Patriot Act and defended the Bill of Rights and The United States Constitution but didn't."

"Should-a seen through the administrations falsehoods, lies, and war mongering about Iran but voted in support of it."

Hillary Clinton...would-a, could-a, should-a....but didn't in 2008!

At some point it seems like the "Clinton plant" is revelling in her false victomhood. Yes, yes, she was propositioned - to ask a question.

As for the whole planted-question incident, some Hillary for President campaign staffer asked an audience member to pose a surprisingly fair, non-leading question (it was an inquiry about Hillary's environmental agenda, not some clearly biased attack on Bush or any presidential candidate). To call the staffer's request evidence of Hillary's vicious plot to restore Faciscm (or similar evils) seems, frankly, beyond absurd.

We can only hope that such self-righteous and inflated individuals as the Hillary student-victim don't comprise the majority of caucus-goers in Iowa.

I'm really surprised at the level of hostility for Obama coming from Hillary supporters.

Hey, guess what? We're on the same side as Democrats. Demonstrate some of that experience and leadership your candidate claims to have.

I am so sick of people saying things like "I just don't trust him," "I just don't think he has what it takes."

How do you go to the next level to determine where those feelings come from and if they are justified? You read, and something besides the CNN Ticker which only gives a blurb on stories they think are interesting.

If you want to know about a candidate got to their site and read their policies. Go to websites to see how they vote. Keep in mind every one running for president is missing votes and that is why they make statements, they can't always get back to the senate on time.

Lastly, to like Hillary doesn't mean you have to hate Obama or put him down, the same for any Republican. These terrible attitudes is the exact reason we need someone like Barack who is willing to work with everyone, ask his peers from the predominantely Republican IL Senate. The Republicans had the majority but they worked with Democrats. Don't you get that is the ONLY way government will work for the people!

I hardly ever post comments - I'm one of those lurkers, but I've got to step in here.

Like so many others have said, a "conspiracy theory" on this is down-right ridiculous. CNN ran their show by a script for timing purposes. She had some very good questions dealing with real concerns she wanted to ask. Because of time-limits, she was asked to ask her pearls/diamonds question. Mr. Obama's turn comes to campaign and she got to ask a few questions afterward that meant something to her, got a good answer, declared that she's "officialy" still undecided and just wants to move on with life.

Don't torture the forced-media-star-college-student and let her move on. Finding every chance possible to call foul or claim anything negative towards your campaign of choice as a conspiracy theory immediately discounts your opinion in most people's minds.

I respect this college student for not abusing this "media opportunity" and for wanting to just move on with student life. I'd want the same thing. I thought her questions for Mr. Obama were great. I'd give her an A in my class.

All you people who say Obama can't beat a Republican in a general election need to come up with some reasons for that, other than just stating it over and over again. I think you all are nuts! Look at the electoral math! Obama polls better among independent and undecided voters than any other candidate in the field, possibly ever! Where's the evidence to back up the claim he can't win? Or are you all just repeating it because Mistress Clinton has been trying to convince us all of that since day one, despite the fact that she's the most polarizing figure in politics since George Bush in 2000!

I saw this story on the ticker earlier today, however it was not at the top of the Ticker. WHY HAS THIS STORY BEEN MOVED TO THE TOP OF THE TICKER? In particular, why has this story been moved above the MORE RECENT story about Sen. Clinton's plan to address the housing crisis?

"Clinton News Network" MY FOOT. The placement of these stories is an unfair way to literally bury good news about Sen. Clinton and paint Barack Obama in a positive light, while not questioning his record one bit.
