Sen. Obama’s TV ads are Nevada’s first of the campaign season.

LAS VEGAS, Nevada (CNN) – Sen. Barack Obama’s campaign announced Friday that it would start airing television ads in Nevada next week, making Obama the first presidential candidate in both parties to be seen in ads by Silver State residents.

The first spot to be rolled out is entitled “Take it Back,” an ad previously seen in Iowa and New Hampshire that portrays Obama as a reformist and focuses on his refusal to take campaign contributions from lobbyists and PACs.

New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson was the first candidate on Nevada’s airwaves with radio ads over the summer in both English and Spanish. Obama quickly followed suit with his own radio ads in Spanish, both campaigns attempting to tap into Nevada’s growing Hispanic population.

While the races have narrowed in Iowa and New Hampshire, an American Research Group poll released Friday gave frontrunner Sen. Hillary Clinton a 25% lead over Obama in Nevada (23% remain undecided). Nevada is the fourth state in the Democratic nomination process, but with Michigan stripped of its delegates by the Democratic Party, Nevada could play a pivotal role following Iowa and New Hampshire.

An Obama spokesperson told CNN, “The race is tightening nationally and certainly we are committed to making sure that the campaign here in Nevada is one of the strongest and that we’re getting the message across.”

The ads will run starting Tuesday until the January 19 caucuses.

The Clintons shamed the highest office in American. Not acting when millions of people were being killed and millions were dieing of starvation in Rwanda. Hillary is going to fix health care? Right, just like she tried to do and gave up on when she was the first lady for 8 years. NAFTA was a Clinton disaster still being felt evenmore so today than when he signed the bill into law. Free trade yes fair trade no. The large multi national corporations love the the Clintons for that one. When Hillary left the White House she took everthing but the kitchen sink. And yes let's not foget Bill's indiscretion's Oh the shame of it all!! If Hillary wins the democratic nomination I will vote for a republican and I don't care how that is. God help us all!!

I think the choice for obama fundamentally change the American image both from home and abroad. When obama talking about change it is not to be happen after the presidency but form your doorsteps-I mean the ongoing change insipiring the young generation in poletics, independents, democrats and Republican. I think the fundamental difference b/n Obama & Clinton is that the former believes change comes from bottom -up approach where as clinton believes top-bottom approach. In other words Clinton's says give your voices I will lead you to your destiney where as Obama says give me the opportunity let's get our destiney together. It seems that obama offering generational change where as clinton's cliams short term presidential change in oval office.
Then I will go for Obama08

To have so many obstacles against him and yet find ways to reach enough people to believe in him and his vision for America, while becoming a threat to the once over confident Clinton campaign, is in my opinion, nothing short of courage, determination, and focus, the strength of a true leader. Obama is the only canidate that can and will bring about change! Someting this country is in desperate need of.

Obama 08!!!!!!

It was truly inspiring to watch and hear Barack Obama deliver such a moving speach in New Hampshire last night.

I truly had the feeling he was speaking from his heart and his gut. He gave the feeling of someone who will stand by you, someone you can respect, and trust.
Interesting, honest ,intelligent words were being spoken.

On the other hand Hillary Clinton did not appear to have an original thought in her message, or the ability to convey it well if she did, since she appeared to "read" every rehearsed word that was uttered. She did not apear to be real … that scares me.

Stating that she learned something from the people in New Hampshire by being able to open up and by talking and actually listening to them this week ….
I'm sorry but this should send up an immediate red flare … for my vote, these kinds of human relations skills, the idea and ability to listen to people, and truly consider their input, need to be acquired a little earlier in life and not just something used as a revelation on a campaign trail.

Go Barack Obama !!

the difference between Obama and Hillary is Obama wants to empower the masses, he wants to involve them in the process. Hillary wants to continue the status quo message of "we'll manage things from washington" That the political elite will make the choices while the sheep follow blindly.

People of Neveda's should considered that our great nation is in danger of having a unexperience person to lead our great nation.

We still have a chance to stop this guy, who's dream is unrealistic. Unexperience in this times of trouble and danger. Let us make up our mine and vote for Hillary Clinton.

With Hillary we will be more safer and our economy will be stable again like her husband's era.

VOTE FOR HILLARY

FOR THE PAST 15 YEARS I HAVE NOT PARTICIPATED IN THE ELECTORIAL PROCESS,BECAUSE NONE OF THE CANDIDATES SHOWED ME THAT THEY HAD THE PEOPLES INTRESTS AT HEART. NOW COMES ALONG A FEW CANDIDATES WHO APPEARES TO CARE. AND I AM PROUD AND PRIVDLEDGDE TO TAKE PART IN THE UPCOMING POLITICAL PROCESSES.

I wanna know when can we expect the Oprahpalooza dog and pony traveling show to appear again in Iowa, SC, and NH? Everyone knows what terribly short attention spans kids have nowadays LOL Imagine expecting college students to give up part of their winter break to come back EARLY and caucus in Iowa on Thurs Jan 3? Naaah… aint gonna happen. Besides I'm sure that Iowa has a Residency requirement AND it's highly likely that all those Out-Of-State students permanent addresses are NOT in Iowa - Nehhh outa luck again

Hey I also wanna know when we can expect the Oprama road tour to appear in the OTHER 47 States ho ho ho maybe Santa knows.

This simply isn't true — I've been seeing Ron Paul television ads (on CNN, no less!) in Nevada for upwards of two weeks now. Way to blow the story, CNN.

Haha, Independent in IA, that was funny! The way the media portrayed the whole "Hillary attacking Obama" thing, you almost felt sorry for poor little Obama. Everyone needed to come to his defense.

Independent in IA   December 8th, 2007 10:07 am ET

The guy wouldn't even make a good dog-catcher…they at least show up to do their jobs, and don't cry "FOUL" when they get bitten.

Jerry IN   December 8th, 2007 7:50 am ET

obama supporter’s talk about desperation for the Clintons, the desperation is clearly obama winphrey, like others have noticed recently, obama had no substance, just a daytime talk show hosts dog and pony show! The only who is worried about oprah is Michelle obama! This guy is a joke and would be foolish for anyone to consider him realistically…He cant show up for the senate job he was elected, why would anyone thin he can be president?

bryan, CA   December 8th, 2007 2:52 am ET

YOu are brilliant Obama!

Wallace Chicago, IL   December 7th, 2007 11:07 pm ET

I am sure it will be slogan or speech again, nothing new, Can you offer something new instead of speech again ? "won'd do for this election"
Boring.

THIS YOUNG MAN HAS VISIONS OF SUGAR PLUMS DANCING IN HIS HEAD!! GET REAL OBAMA!!!!!!!!!! NO LIBS PLEASE,AMERICA FIRST PEOPLE!!!

Les WA   December 7th, 2007 9:58 pm ET

His AD campaign is MISLEADING. Obama ACCEPTED money for his campaign from LOBBYISTS & CORPORATIONS. He also USE his PAC for other democrats in other states, more like BRIBERY in my opinion.

I wish Obama will learn to be HONEST and TRUTHFUL with his ad campaign instead of misleading the american people thru his ad….that's real LOW

Chris, Middletown, CT   December 7th, 2007 9:51 pm ET

Theres a difference…Obama is running for Obama for President - while Richardson is running for Hillary…any Hillary supporters still out there…or did you actually listen to her support for licensing illegal aliens in NY…..then the non-support..then the support…then..who knows what she said (yeah I know…we are all "haters" - but literate ones..)

HUCK,LA.   December 7th, 2007 9:37 pm ET

WE DO NOT NEED YOU OBAMA, GO AWAY. WE NEED HUCKABEE AND THE FAIR TAX!!

Hannah,Iowa   December 7th, 2007 9:25 pm ET

good for him. I am looking forward for Obama to debate with the so called Huckabee guy….Till then air your ads!

Ginny, Byron, CA   December 7th, 2007 9:05 pm ET

What message? I haven't heard one yet. How about coming out with something specific and of substance?
