CJ. The Energy vote that you are talking about took place earlier in the week and didn't reach the amount of votes needed to hold another vote on saturday. So all the presidential candidates didn't miss a vote on Sat. Its on the political ticker. So I guess that means you will be voting for somebody. Don't just read the headlines.

My belief is that if you are a sitting politician, running for a higher office, you should willingly forfeit your seat in your current government position in order to run your campaign. How many of us can take unlimited time away from our current jobs, with full pay and benefits, to interview for a new job. I don't think that my boss would be terribly pleased with that.

As far as the Mother, child, candidate paradigm goes, its just another method of triangulating the voting blocks through demographic manipulation.

How lovely to see three generation women; Iowa make sure you can differentiate the support of racist show business woman-Oprah and Hilary coming with her daughter and mother.

I resent the "Shame on Oprah" comments made by Hillary supporters and I wouldn't vote for her no matter who is on the Republican side. I won't vote for Giuliani or Romney; however, I would vote for Mike Huckabee if he wins the nomination and Hillary should happen to win the nomination. Anybody but Hillary for this African American woman. I will never vote for Hillary.
Let's see now; shame on Oprah for supporting her choice for president of the USA; boy, that takes a lot of nerve. Oprah has a right to support Obama just as you Hillary supporters have a right to support Hillary just because she is a woman.

Obama's mother died in her 50's. His daughters are under 10. How is he supposed to match that? Oprah is only bringing the crowd out, he has to close the deal.

Well, it looks like some of the canidates didn't make it back to D.C. for an important vote – guess they won't be getting my vote either. To all canidates: Please remember that the job you hold is only TEMPORARY and the voters need to remember that one too as they go into the polling booths!

I would think Bill Clinton need to be ashamed of himself come out to campaign for Hillary. He has alot of Baggage that he is bringing back in this campaign. We all have a mother who loves us and always supports us. It is much more to show the world that you love your mother than love a talk-show host.

In fact bringing out Oprah emphases the weak point of Obama since he only talks–does not even have courage to vote in either State Senate or US Senate. Oprah is the same way, a talk Queen. Now we have a Talk Queen endorses a Talk King! No wonder. I hope people who attend the rallies in IA, NH, SC, and NV will see the commonality of the two!!

Hillary's mother coming with her as a 'buddy' in a campaign event was very touchy. It shows how hard it is for us women to obtain every single success in our lives and how important are mothers (or their memories for some of us who lost them) to keep us going.

It may look like "Mom, I need your help", but to me it was significant. I support Hillary and I trust she can overcome all barriers this patriarchal society raise to women.

Bringing your mother and daughter is a sign of compassion? Than Mitt Romney with his five sons is the most compassionate politician out there…

Please,ladies, stop pushing "the gender" button. Hillary Clinton is a calculating ruthless lier and opportunist. Who needs that kind of role model?

What does it say about Hillary's judgment that she married a person with questionable personal characteristics. Every time Bill was given the opportunity to cheat or lie about cheating, he took full advantage. That speaks loudly to Hillary's ability to make sound judgments. What type of self-esteem belongs to a person who stays with a constantly cheating man. Seems to be someone whose emotions play a bigger role than logic. Just what america needs, an over-emotional person who can't recognize and display good judgement.

Hillary is the smartest, most capable, level-headed, and best prepared person running for president. She has run a smart, positive campaign the same way she will run a smart, forward thinking administration. The fact that she is a women, is for me, merely the icing on the cake.

For the past weeks, surrogates has come to her rescue… Wes Clark, Mark Penn, and now Dorothy, to reinforce her campaign and credibility….. This makes her look BRATTY and and petty. If she cannot fight this battle on her own, how can she fight the battle in the general elections?

I think this is a cute story. Shows a different side to her.
