I'm disappointed, but not surprised, that CNN would make the factual error of claiming New Hampshire's entire congressional delegation has endorsed Obama. No state has a two-member congressional delegation; that's why every state has at least 3 electoral votes. Sens. Judd Gregg (R) and John Sununu (R) are not supporting Obama. What he has is the support of NH's entire *House* delegation. Both of them.

The Congresswoman can support anyone she wants, this is America.

However, both her and the state of New Hampshire should enjoy this last hurrah in the limelight. The rest of the country is tired of a small electoral college vote and diversity challenged state like New Hampshire having an outsized influence on selecting the front-runners from both parties.

If we have our way, New Hampshire will be lucky if anyone visits during Campaign 2012; first primary or no.

Republicans are excited about the idea of going against Obama in the general election. They know he can't win the states of Ohio, Iowa, Florida, or Pennsylvania in the electroal college.

270towin

Another Republican White House

President Romney
President Huckabee
President McCain

Sounds good right. I love you Obama dreamers.

FIRED UP! READY TO GO! FIRED UP! READY TO GO!

I heard that New Hampshire Governor John Lynch who was in attendence (to the dismay of his wife, a Hillary supporter) was singing very softly, "FIRED UP! READY TO GO! FIRED UP! READY TO GO!"

Gotta watch those kinda people who make their decisions based upon which way the wind blows just like this politico who says that she is backing Obama because the wind is with him.
This is especially foolish as she said she was not endorsing anyone in the primary.
I feel sorry for her constituents as they have nothing but the ever changing wind to represent them. Scary.....

Shea-Porter's endorsement is unimportant and only serves to show she is a flip-flopper and not to be trusted. This is a teeny blip on the campaign screen and of little impact on the masses of voters. ( I do love self-satisfied "cat who ate the canary" expression on her face, though.)

It is disturbing that so many are quick to jump on a band wagon for a candidate that has so little experince. I believe every registered voter should have to take classes in politics before voting.
It is extremely distrubing that you are so willing to elect a person that will not pay the traditional respects to the flag and to the ones who died so we could have elections. I don't care what faith you are give respect where is due.
A canidate can promise the world but, congress will determine what happens. It will take a person that can unite both sides of the house and that requires experience. Oh yes and the ability to persuade others to do it your way.
I am not sure who I will vote for yet but I know it will not be Obama, or his TV book selling supporters.

Hillary folks bash Oprah as a non-political backer. Then another politician comes out in support of Obama and they say that it does not mean anything. It is beginning to sound desperate over at the Clinton camp.

Jared, you are on the right track. A lot of the politicians who have endorsed Clinton have done so because they have been told that if they don’t get on board now they will face retribution or be frozen out “when” she becomes President. This is not just speculation on my part but has been documented in Newsweek. Now that cloak of invincibility is starting to be challenged. It will be interesting to see how her “supporters” react if Obama actually manages to win the first three states. I suspect it will be like watching rats deserting the sinking ship.

The Clinton’s play for keeps and are the master’s of today’s hardball politics on the democratic side but things will turn ugly if she looses.

So the congressional representative from New Hampshire endorse Obama.

Looks like they agree with Oprah.

All of the elected representatives of the people of New Hampshire are for BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA.

Do you understand what that means. Victory for Obama in New Hampshire.

I believe he got his degree in Foreign Policy from Columbia. And his 2002 interview where he predicted very accurately the situation in Iraq today. Combine that with running a stellar campaign on his first try and you get a small idea of what his presidency would be like. I will predict he is going to be better than Bill Clinton.

It’s curious that the “new” elected Democrats in NH are backing Obama while the “old” Democrats, such as Shaheen back Clinton. NH’s “new”democrats delivered the “goods” in the last election and what will happen now?

Clinton is seen as the status quo and her endorsements bear that out. She has Andrew Young, John Lewis, Barbara Streisand et al. Most of whom are well past their peak. Obama gets the more recently elected Democrats, Oprah and others at the peak of their form.

Good for her, good for him....

This is what has finally sealed it for me. It's refreshing. I'll VOTE for him any day.

Also during Tuesday's call, Obama would not condemn a new negative flier distributed by Clinton’s campaign that attacks his health care plan.

“I think it’s entirely legitimate to talk about the issues,” he said.

(1)Some may see the winds of change blowing to a different alignment of the stars than others. Should we be seeing news of our future in her statement?

(2)It's never too late to buy political favors with an early endorsement! She's putting points in her favor bank! It's a good time to get a good rate of interest with little investment!

Insinuating that endorsements only come from "backroom deals" is laughable. Did Babs participate in a backroom deal with Hillary?

Just because an endorsement is for the other side doesn't mean it's tainted. I think that Streisand probably believes in Hillary just like Rep. Shea-Porter really believes in Obama.

You got it wrong lady - not sails - sales. So tell us what he sold you. A piece of what? God knows that is the only way this woman could have endorsed this clown.

Slicker in Eldora, IA - ha ha. Maybe John in drag. Who cares. She won't have much of an impact - just like Oprah hasn't. Beyond me why she chose him. Any candidate would have been a better choice. Shame on you. God knows what went on behind closed doors.

I have to ask which of the candidates is really for constructive change and which is for the old establishment status quo. When you look at endorsements and records, status quo = Clinton and constructive change, a fresh outlook and enthusiasm = Obama.

Joe, you killed your argument yourself by generalizing. Enthusiasm leads to change but how do you know it is "constructive"? Unintelligence, inexperience enthusiasm leads to instability, destructive change. Unless people live on hope and day dream that things will improve like a fairy tale.

If Obama is your fairy tale change, I am afraid of this country.

Why do people care about endorsements? It does not matter. And the American people stopped caring about them a long time ago.

What is curious is that the "new wave" of Democrats in the Granite State have lined up with Obama. Governor John Lynch, whose wife has endorsed Clinton, was at the Oprah-Obama rally in Manchester on Sunday. While he hasn't endorsed anyone, the fact that he was there is interesting.

If you look nationwide, the younger and "newer" Democrats in elective are breaking for Obama as did Oprah. Clinton, on the other hand, gets Andrew Young, Barbara Streisand, John Lewis and the old crowd who has been around for decades.

I have to ask which of the candidates is really for constructive change and which is for the old establishment status quo. When you look at endorsements and records, status quo = Clinton and constructive change, a fresh outlook and enthusiasm = Obama.

It is surprising that the Congresswoman would make an endorsemnt after saying that she would not. I see this mainly as a sign of Hillary Clinton's decline. When it looked as if she would have had to work with her she chose not to endorse anyone, as soon as Clinton begins to look beatable you see what happens.

So many in the Democratic establishment have backed Clinton because she has been running for the office since the beginning of modern politics... they seem to think she deserves it, or that they don't have a choice anyway because she's already won.

We need to stop choosing our politicians based on their 'electablilty.' How many elections has that won for Democrats? What we end up with isn't the best canditate, but the best one at saying nothing at all.

I hope this inspires more of the Democratic establishment to ignore the pressure and begin endorsing the people they truely believe in. We'll all be better off.

Also during Tuesday's call, Obama would not condemn a new negative flier distributed by Clinton’s campaign that attacks his health care plan.

“I think it’s entirely legitimate to talk about the issues,” he said.

Interesting. I'm glad CNN threw this in there.

My oh my!!! Clinton is probably losing her freaking mind right about now, as well she should be. Maybe next time she will put the American peoples concerns before hers and her purses! Change is upon us...

Mandated healthcare!!! Lady give me a break will you?? Newsflash Hillary car insurance is mandated but a good portion of people don't have it...why?? Not because they don't want it, it's because they are not going to choose car insurance over eating and living from day to day...nor will they choose your "mandated" healthcare. Get over yourself...you would do this country twice as much damage good...Republicans can't stand you...don't you think they desire to work effectively with you?? Ummmm not so much!!

I don't think endorsements matter too much.

But this shows that not all women voters are rallying around our former first lady.

I think women want someone with the strongest track record of judgement. They also should choose someone who showed the right judgement on Iraq from the beginning.
