So much for "us" being afraid of strong women.

We don't hate a strong woman, just the "wrong" woman........

It sounds like Hillary Clinton would have us believe that she was the president or maybe she is campagning for her husband. He was the president not her. In my job my wife and I communicate a lot but she doesn't take credit for my work and I don't take credit for hers. I do not consider Bill Clinton's experience as president as experience for Hillary and I hope the voters don't either.

Here's a reality check for Reality King and all those who attribute the great economy of the Clinton years to the Neo-cons::

Bill Clinton got rid of the Federal deficit IN SPITE of the Republicans in the Senate. Refer to his Deficit Reduction Bill of 1993.

Not a single Republican Senator voted for it which means that if the Neo Cons held the majority in 1993 we would have had a continuous(and growing) deficit from 1992-NOW.
Scary isn't it?

*****Question of the day:

If Bill Clinton thinks his wife is 'the single most qualified person for president in America,' isn't he by virtue of this saying:

1. there are no black men or women in the entire country more qualified than his white, very wealthy wife.

2. there are no Hispanic men or women in the entire country who are smarter than a woman who flunked her first attempt to pass the bar exam.

3. there are no Asian men or women who are more qualified than a woman who last year made a joke about Ghandi having worked at a gas station.

4. there are no lesbian or gay people in the entire country more qualified than a woman who says she wants equal rights for all, but cuts them off with a 'civil union' cop-out.

5. there are no disabled persons in the entire country more qualified than Hillary.

Get the idea--the very demographic these two use to propel their 'careers' are never a part of their lilly white upper class political machines or cabinets.

EXACTLY why this conservative (who would vote for Condi in a heartbeat) made America's only politically confrontative music CD-one that takes on Hillary, Congress, and the whole Ward Churchill crowd. One-of-a-kind stuff @

Can you see Hillary's nose growing in this picture? In reference to poll she says, "I just don't pay attention.." What!? I was ONCE a Hillary supporter, and for months all she did was refer to polls showing her in the lead, particularly when asking for donations. I still have the emails saved to prove it! As former Clinton friend David Geffen said earlier in the campaign, "It's not that the Clinton's lie, it's that they do so so easily."

Rose Hann New London:

WHY are we (non clinton supporters) mean to Hillary? Hum... Maybe her RECORD! Maybe HER POLITICS. MAYBE A MILLION OTHER REASONS!

Stop playing the gender nonsense, I don't dislike her for being a woman any more than you are not voting for Obama because he is black.

Is the best you have is to call people sexist for not supporting clinton?

Fact is to me she is cut from the same DLC cloth as Lieberman and this country needs change. This country needs leadership.
last great Democratic President:
Kennedy... next one is Obama. It is about time the Democrats started being leaders again

"I am a woman, darlin', and a feminist. Why would I not want a woman president? By the same token, should we elect a woman if she's the wrong candidate? Any other woman but Hillary. Nikki Tsogas of massachusetts would be my best pick for woman first president!"

No confidence in Hillary. She definitely lacks the honesty to lead. Switching my vote to Obama for sure. That rally with Oprah and Obama was really nice and refreshing. If you have not heard Obama speaking in person, you should really hear him. I AM VERY IMPRESSED. I would be proud to have him as our next President!!

Clinton is the one! There's too much at stake. I've seen all the candidates here in Iowa and you are head and shoulders above the rest. I think you will make a great President and you are ready to lead. Our country needs you.

Clinton's plan for the economy, her engergy plan, bringing the troops home and a Universal Healthcare plan make her the strongest candidate in the field.

Did anyone see her ANSWER the question on the TODAY show?? I did not. She kept avoiding it. The question was "HOw is Obama becoming the president really a roll of the dice"
She referred to the Des Moines register, her family, every random thing except the answer. UNtil the reported called her out on it and said "ok you are not going to answer this question lets go to another one" and then AGAIN she did not answer the question.
Judge for yourself her character

It is a shame that the Democratic Party seems unable to embrace the spring of its party in Obama rather than its autumn in Clinton.I am a life-long Democrat, however,I find the smug claims of economic success during her husband's tenure rather tinny. There was a lot of compromise with the Republican House to achieve this and Hillary certainly was not part of it. Overall the previous Clinton administration was fraught with failure: from Somalia to the President's inability to tell the truth to the nation, always parsing words to the point where it becomes demeaning. We have had this for 15 years now and it is time for a change. Why go back when we can go forward? The corporate soul of the Democratic Party is on full display with the cronyism and the nepotism pursuant to Hillary achieving the nomination. If it feels a lot like Christmas,it also feels a lot like the Republican Party. We have been through this before: Hubert Humphrey is John Kerry is Hillary Clinton. The way to not repeat the past is to break from it but be born in the process. The candidacy of Barack Obama offers this chance.

I would love to know what kind of beef CNN has against Hillary Clinton. I'm tired of watching them trot out Carl Bernstein to do a hatchet job on her with his increasingly shrill rhetoric. On top of that, they allow him on to pontificate against Senator Clinton without anyone to respond to his biased views. Very foul play on "news".

Good for you Hillary..don't worry about the polls and don't worry about why the personal opinions of you in the media are overwhelmingly negative. Don't worry about why 9 out of every 10 women I ask, say there's no way they'd vote for you. Don't worry about anything cause your rich, you protect corporate interest over the common good and those wealthy interest will continue to take care of you. Don't worry that the working class may be smart enough to realize how programs you and Bill promoted have hurt their economy worse than any presidency in history. Just enjoy a campaign full of wealthy friends and family showing their support because come election day, the working majority will not.

Are these women so hateful of men that they would vote for a flip-flopping, republican-in-democrats-clothing simply because she is not a man?

"The reason they were kicked out 16 years ago is because of tax and spend politics. Now they want to raise taxes again"

First let's start with the obvious. Democrats were in office 8 years ago with Bill Clinton. Second, Bush reduced income taxes, but raised just about everything else around us. Healthcare costs? What about the price of oil? His BS has TRIPLED oil prices since he took office. Wonder who that benefits? I know it's not me.

"Obama is inspiring but we are now in an era where any country in the world can start a war with the USA anytime and I think he is not ready to make decisions on his own."

Ever hear the saying: people in glass houses....

The Clinton White house was there for the first WTC attack and the bombing of the USS Cole and did NOTHING. Attack Obama if you feel it necessary, but don't make it sound like Hillary is there to make the TOUGH decisions.

Well, I did admire the Clintons, but I've had enough of this hypocrisy. OK, this is politics, but enough is enough!
To claim "I'm not worried about the polls" is not only a blatant lie, it's also an insult to the intelligence of the viewers. When she was, her staff insisted to just look at her poll numbers. Obviously she cares about poll numbers, any candidate cares (actually anybody following this election does!) - I cannot blame her for that. Does she think we are all idiots or something?
Reminds me of Bill, watching us in the eye on TV in a staged sincerity moment: "I did NOT have sex with that woman..."
She only sucked my... wait, is that called sex? Wow, I didn't know that!

"Hillary has run a clean campaign in the mist of all the dirt, hate, lies and demagoguery of the right wingers and the other so-called Democrat’s campaigns."

You're kidding right? She would only have more dirt involved in her campaign if she was mud wrestling. Lets all get that image out of our minds now.

CNN does keep all posts. You are just seeing more negative ones about Hillary because people are opening their eyes the real Hillary. Sorry, the wheels are off her wagon.

"I never believe that any election is at all predictable, let alone inevitable"

Yeah right. Oh Hilary you're quite the actress.

She isn't good for anything. She gives me the creeps. She has too much money and power to be running our country.

We need someone who has the strength to be able to resist from all the power.

If she becomes president and that crappy universal healthcare kicks in, I can't WAIT to see all of you just waiting in line to get the worst healthcare there is to offer.

VOTE FOR RON PAUL!!!

thanks!!!

Lauding her husbands management of the economy?.... Please! Bill can not tale credit for all that. He reaped the benefit of Reaganomics... there was the internet boom.. again not related to Bills actions... and then in the same period we had the Asia financial crisis, the Latin American financial woes, the Russian ruble collapsed and the impending Euro arrival. A world of investors with only the stable US economy to pump it into. Any wonder the Clinton Era looked so good. So how will you russell up another perfect storm such as that Hilary. Its Ok though... you were there... so you'll figure it out.

hillary knows she cant be toppled by mere politics,..,shes been in the game more years than any of her running mates,.,.and she knows overseas tactics ,.,.hiallary has no worrys .,.,the majority know shes going to win just sitting back waiting for it to happen thats the hard part

"MERE politics" there is nothing 'mere' about them, they (politics) are what the game is all about.
"She's been in the game more years than any of her running mates" I guess you mean her opponents since none of them are her 'running mates'. Anyway, that's absolutely not true. The only one she has more national experience than is Obama all the other run circles around her 8 years experience in which she didn't do a whole lot.

What do you mean she knows 'overseas tactics', all she ever had to do as first lady was smile for the camera.

And, yes, Hillary has a lot of worries, that's why all the dirty tricks (and that's exactly what they are), she must feel like she's on the Titanic.

It's good to know that you speak for the majority, Jan, guess you haven't opened up a newspaper in a coupla weeks.

The laugh of doom. HAHAHAHAHA. It is a laugh of confidence. From the number of responses for this post alone with Hillary's name on it, that speaks for itself how popular she is...regardless if it is pionic negativity or intellectual positivity. Commander in Chief HRC '08. YES!!!

You know it is funny all of you people who are condemming Clinton for lying, when at one point or another you have lied yourself. Wherether it be to refrain from trouble or make someone happy or not wanting to hurt someone's feelings. We know she looks at the polls, be right now her pride is being hurt and so she says she doesn't big deal. She is saying that she has experinece from when she was the first lady and yet many of you say all she did was sleep with the President. But if you think about it she also was put in with his rirgorus schedule and know the frustration and commitment that it takes, becsause she was there when Bill was going through it. She may not have the experience of being the Presidnet however she does have the experince of the life of the President more than any of the others running. If I remember correctly you guys are getting at her for her being nasty, which in the begining she was not. Obama and Edwards were a and they were thrrowing all they could at her and still are. However Obama never uses her name, he just insinuates. Clinton would say the guys are picking on me, and at that time many people said grow a backbone, deal with it. Now that she is dealing her own out it is not ok. True that it would have been wrong IF her camp was accusing Obama of being a drug dealer, they were only stating what the Repbulicans WOULD do if Obama wins the Dem nod. People need to step away from thier feelings and look at the things that she has done her whole careeer life.

When are you people going to realize that this woman cannot tell the truth even in a situation like this!?!? She is NOT worthy of the Presidency of this great country. She and her philandering husband have been lying to us longer than George W. Bush and you KNOW you can't stand HIM lying! The Clinton name is synonomous with lying, good grief, Bill was IMPEACHED for it. Get a grip people and move on to another family for crying out loud! Enough Bush, Clinton, Bush, (another Clinton, Bush?)! Time to draw the line!
