During his first term, didn't Bill Clinton's wife (Hillary) have a DC staff member fired because the staff member was giving computer use advise to Barbara Bush the former first lady?

"Gus Tijerino, Miami, FL December 18, 2007 4:10 pm ET

Slammed that two-timing liberal scum in the mouth like I predicted. Good Job President Bush. Put this idiot in his place. And well said. W has done a great job. I don't care what the media says, he is a great President. Terrorists on the run, sound economy, two countries liberated from tyranny, a safe homeland, North Korea stopping nuclear program, Iran on notice, a real hope for peace between Israel and Palestine, Libya disclosing nukes… And all with a positive attitude and a ready smile… Love ya W"

How do you eat without sticking the fork in your eye?

"Terrorists on the run"

Yes, running after US military and killing them.

"sound economy,"

If you consider a recession to be a sound economy that is...

"two countries liberated from tyranny"

That's HILARIOUS!!!! Afghanistan is a freaking wreck and the taliban is poised to own it again in all of it's heroin producing glory and Iraq just knows a different kind of tyranny.

"a safe homeland"

With the exception of the biggest attack in our history that occurred on the mopes watch, it always has been safe.

"North Korea stopping nuclear program"

Riiiiiight...

" Iran on notice"

Uh-huh...and those whackjobs are just a tremblin' in their boots, right? How exactly are they "on notice"?

"a real hope for peace between Israel and Palestine"

There is NO hope for peace between them, never has been and there never will be until Jesus comes floating out of the clouds. Just because the worst president in our history needs to try and do something/anything to assuage the history books doesn't mean those two will miraculously bury the hatchet...unless it's between each others shoulder blades.

"And all with a positive attitude and a ready smile…"

That's just gas...

Your post should have come with a cover charge and a two drink minimum.

Hillary, hide Bill somewhere he can't be seen or heard. No wonder Al Gore did not want him on his campaign.
He is a liability.
Not that you will win but atleast you will lose with some dignity!!

Among people of goodwill, America has gained goodwill in the last five years.

Among those who support Islamofascism (those who call themselves American and those who don't), of course we are losing goodwill.

The president's primary job is protecting the American people, and Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama would not protect us.

Hillary Clinton is a scary joke that even Democrats with good sense can see is bad for the country and bad for the world.

Read the story people.

She wanted this to happen for the good of the world - 41 and 42 trying to restore the goodwill that we have lost in the past 5 years.

Bush 41 said no. And that is his prerogative.

Thats the facts.

No one said anyone promised anything.

JHC think for yourselves. No wonder this country is f'ed up, none of you can think.

What if Al Gore were President on 9/11/2001?

Oh wait, he was. At least in the majority of Americans.

What a rare but huge political misstep by Bill. He showed no respect for 41 thinking he was either too dumb or too soft and would let him use him like that. WRONG! He could have been way more tactful. 41 has already indirectly done Hillary a huge service (and the entire country) in the past simply by being honest about where he is on our foreign policy--why push it like this! Really stupid and certainly wreaks of some desperation. Maybe he is seeing his "dynasty" crumble before him right now?

You hit the nail on the head, Dinh of honolulu hawaii:

What the coolaid drinkers spout doesn't mean sqwat. Unlike Clinton, Bush made hard decisions, made mistakes for sure, but history WILL see his accomplishments as having made a significant difference for the positive. As for Clinton, well he's still trying to rewrite his since he will be deemed as insignificant in the history books.

Has anyone thought about who is going to pay for this little trip around the world? We all know that it will be our tax dollars used to pay for this trip. California has enough of these problems do we really want this in the white house. It is good to know up front how they plan to spend our tax money and why they feel the need to increase taxes so they can go traveling across the world and eating in five star resturants. I for one am not in favor of this at all.

Are people serious to think that Bush SHOULD travel with Clinton to fix the worlds issues? The world isn't issue here. Clinton referenced an action for Bush to essentially criticize his own son by 'cleaning up W's diplomacy mistakes'. A pretty low insult if you asked me to do that to my own son.

Clinton is way too smart to spout this without realizing the absurdity of the premise. He obviously wants to enjoy his time alone, and isn't as into Hillary 08 as she is. Plain and simple, and I don't really blame him. He's already been down the highest political road already and has the scars to prove it.

I feel a little bad for Hillary not to see the obvious.

I commend former President Bush for his refusal to go on a Diplomatic Mission with Bill Clinton. That would be a no Brainer for Bush to even think of doing something such as that. If he approved of it and agreed to it, he would be playing right into the Clintons hands in attempting to win over the White House again. 8 Years of the Clintons in Washihgton was to long as it was.

You won't get an apology from Slick Willie. What you will get is a replay of the debate over the definition of the word "is" which is in his quote.

"That family will say ANYTHING to keep up appearances. Hey Bill, this might be a foreign concept, but telling the truth is the best place to start!!"

Yeah, cuz GWB is great at telling the truth. Amazing (well, not really) that such an idiot can lie to an entire country about anything and everything and you find fault in a former president's statement about hoping to repair foreign relations. As I said, not really amazing that GWB has you all eating from his hand.

Bubba has NO shame. It's all about him - all the time. The man has a love affair with himself and his self-worship. "Me-me-me-I-me-me-me…" - - Sick.

Maybe Bubba should go around and assure other nations that the next Republican President, like the and current one, won't be Impeachable. Bubba is, of course, one out of only two Presidents who can make that claim to fame.

President George W. Bush has more character and purpose in his pinkie than Bubba has had over his entire life. What a phony!

With all do respect Mr. Former President - You have gotten so used to lying that you actually believe what you say.

The Clintons and the Bushes, ad nauseum. Thank God, Americans are waking up and rejecting the whole lot of these political welfare recipients.
Huckabee and Obama might be a good start. The best would be to get someone who has little self interest and the best interest of the nation at heart. RON PAUL is the answer!!!!
As for Bushes, Clintons and their ilk stop using this country for your own profit. For the uninformed, look at the benefits these people all gladly suck up, like Social Security (take but don't pay), Medical (Hillary nmay hate the military but she'll be getting all her medical at Bethaisda, just like Cheney), and need we mention the security. They are all rich enough to pay their own bills, but again they serve their own interests not the nations.

This could be the best political trick in history. Old George telling Bill he would do it in a private one on one conversation. Then when Clinton says it to the whole world George Sr. yanks the rug out to make the Clintons look bad. Not saying that this happened but only in the world of politics is it even remotely possible and there still has to be some bad blood from when they ran against each other.Easily could have been the single biggest political betrayal and smartest move in of the entire 08' election. Don't put it past them.

It is funny to see people up in arms over a good idea shot down by a family protecting crony. It would actually help the U.S.' reputation to have the 2 of them around.. of course, Bush Senior cannot admit that his son has become the worst president in U.S. history...

Why would he backtrack from a good idea? People here are quite nuts!

It is very sad indeed that these politicians - past and present - have the faith and trust of so many Americans...you will find after a very simple history lesson that there is NO DIFFERENCE between the "Democrats" and the "Republicans"...check the spending all on its own as an issue and you'll find that they are controlled by those with the money to create their world government. People should look to themselves for the beginning of the clean up that is necessary in American life and foreign policy.

The Bush family should hope that history will define the differences between H.W. and W. If there is any doubt that history will confuse the two and their accomplishments, then maybe H.W. should consider the idea no matter who is in the White House next.

<b>Actually, the round the world trip would be to tell world leaders that after 8 years without a Clinton in office, the US is back to pandering to dictators and America-haters.

Fortuately, HRC will never make it to the office.

Sure, and Democrats would never regain control of both houses of Congress. Oh, wait. DUH. Silly me, THEY DID, even when you Clinton-obsessed haters said they never would.
And you think HRC would be responsible for pandering to US-hating nations? What are you, a moron? Virtually every single 9/11 hijacker came from SAUDI ARABIA, and Cokehead George still loves to hold their hands. Cokehead George says how much he hates Communist Cuba, but gee, the US still pays RENT to Castro's government to be able to use THEIR land for the illegal Gitmo detention center. In other words: "APOLOGIST, PLEASE!" Democrats couldn't make this country any worse than Boy George already has. Wake TFU.

as sharp and calculating a politician as Clinton is, his remarks are either ginormously careless (which I doubt), hugely presumptious (likely, but not probable) or an attempt to insert himself into the equation to salve his ego and improve his 'legacy' (much closer to the bullseye I think)

it's not a bad idea that Bill has, given the disaster of the "we're better than anyone' policies by the younger Bush. Senior Bush's denial of a worldwide problem with the US's policies underscore how little awareness this family and this administration has for our declining influence in the world - we are our own worst enemy and we/they don't seem to realize it! I guess a head (s) in the sand makes it go away.
