Huckabee was right on the money with his anaylsis of this administration. Bush has been out of control since the day he has taken office.
He acts more like a dictator than a president and should be impeached, but then we would get worse in Cheney.

"arrogant, bunker mentality"
what, exactly, is 'bunker mentality'?
Sounds like some kind of slam on the military or something, to me.

Steve lyons CO,,,,,,, I have read many of your comments in the past. most of them I disagree with some I do. AS I am not a religoeus fanatic, I am open to the hope and possibility that there is more than what we see on this earth. I personally find your comment "religeously deluted anti-science goobers " un - necessary two days before christmas. I have to ask knowing what you have written in the past on the subject if this was a pointed comment you have been trying to slip in at christmas and finally got the chance or was this coincedence ? Knowing how smart you are by your own comments telling us day after day , YOU also know science has no evidence of mans evolution from sub species. What does that make you ? merry christmas MR. lyons

"Negative comments in a national forum regarding the conduct of war or foreign affairs in regard to that very war on a sitting President encourage action by combatants on the other side and cost American lives...."

Anyone NOT speaking out against criminal traitors like Bush and Cheney, currently destroying our Constitution and our country, is a coward. Because EVERYone knows now what they're up to, even you.

Hmm. What does that make you?

And you know how bad religiously deluded anti-science goobers like Dubya are as president. You don't want THAT again, do you?

Worst. President. Ever.

" If this type of action is legal it certainly should not be legal."

Try reading the Constitution your President Stooge is dismantling. It protects free speech, even speech as red-necked and brainless as yours.

Maybe you should be arrested for interfering with people's right to free speech.

Of course it is ludicrous that Huckabee says Bush & Co, have an 'arrogant, bunker mentality' with regard to foreign policy. They have that mentality across the board in all policies.

Kudos, to Secty Rice, she is a brilliant representative of our country.
All those that are critical of her, are either racist, bigoted whites, or others who are jealous, that she made something of her life, while they sit on their cowardly behinds critizing her.
What a wonderful story she has to tell,
she is a great example to all, that hard work, and intelligence, and a lady with a lot of class.

I understand Rush Limbaugh, Michael Reagan, Ann Coulter, Sean Hannity and Laura Ingraham have made comments lately about how Mike Huckabee supporters have begun blogging their web sites.

How dare those true American conservatives who do not have a Talk Show to spread propaganda across America merely blog the web sites of America’s most elite Talk Show Hosts.

How dare those little people that supported and raised the rating of those elite Talk Show Hosts now disagree with them.

Well, they (elite Talk Show Hosts ) have made it big and made millions of dollars from their support of America’s sheep-people but most of America knows a confidence game when they see it, as the elite Talk Show Hosts try to put down their non-preferred candidates because they are not Wall Street or Washington power broker approved.

The Huckster wouldn't know a bunker from his back sides! He's so busy trying to become a headline that he's become desperate. These Ron Paul Nazis and the peace mongers have everyone forgetting the reason we went to war. Yes, go ahead and bring the boys home. Let's keep the border open and you'll see the next 9/11 in your hometown. (Maybe while your Christmas shopping Infidel) I'm voting for someone who has always been a conservative and doesn't have to apologize for his past position on the issues. That is Fred Thompson!

CNN's anti-Bush spin strikes again! This following is a blatant misquote:
[“The idea that somehow this is a ‘go it alone’ policy is just simply ludicrous. And one would only have to be not observing the facts, let me say that, to say that this is not a ‘go it alone foreign policy,” said Rice.]
The above quote changes the meaning of what was said. If you watch the video, you'll hear that Rice Actually said:
"And one would only have to be not observing the facts, let me say that, to say that this is NOW a ‘go it alone foreign policy,”
I suggest that people watch the FULL video on CSPAN. I know that is too hard for those who just like to watch hit-and-run smears of President Bush.

Personally I don't care or would I vote for Huckabee for the sole reason that this nation does not need a Baptist Minister as president, nothing against religion, faith, or believing in a higher power because I do...but I do feel that what he said is true this administration is the most arrogant, secretive, corrupt, & hypocritical of any past democratic or republican administration.

Hitler, as we all know, spent his last few days in an underground bunker. He spent those days ordering German troops to stand fast, even though they were surrounded by Allied forces, they were out of ammunition and gasoline, and everyone in Germany knew that the war was lost.

Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, and Rice led us into Iraq. We have spent trillions fighting the wrong war in the wrong country and we have very little to show for it. It has been an enormous waste of lives, money, and national morale. Those who supported the war in the beginning - like me and you - must bear some of the blame. Remember all the yellow ribbons we displayed, the flags on the front porches, and the made-in-China bumper stickers we all bought? Today the ribbons are all gone but the troops are still there. The bumper stickers are yellowed with age and peeling from our bumpers, as if in embarrassment.

Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, and Rice are not psychologically capable of admitting their error to us, just as we are not capable of admitting that we caught war fever and failed in our duty as citizens to keep America on the right course. Bummer.

Why can't a candidate criticize this president who has already made so many errors in judgement. If any candidate is going to appeal to independent voters they must state their opinion on foriegn policy. I agree with Huckabee's opinion, that is why we have lost our leadership position with the rest of the world.

I thought that Secretary of State Rice should have ran for President, but she didn't. I think she knows what she is doing. Huckabee went over the line on this insult, and of the President. The fact that President Bush didn't make a comment about this is one more example of his integrity. I like one of Huckabee's ideas, keep the current one in office, but its not possible.

The thing that is ludicrous is the idea that Secretary Rice, while so bright in other areas, does not acknowledge the factual correctness of the Huckabee statements to describe her boss's tenure. No doubt about it, this administration will go down as the most corrupt, the most secretive, the most inept of any administration in the history of our nation. That Bush gathered a bunch of enablers around him like Secretary Rice is no surprise. Just look at her tainted relationship with Blackwater. These guys who have a history of thieving overcharges of our nation at war, of killing of innocent Iraqi people, and of belligerent practices. Her time as Secretary of State says it all. Ineptness, biased treatment of other countries, and overseers of a bunch of criminals. So I say, you go Mr. Huckabee, you are absolutely correct on this one.

It is ironic, and totally beyond my comprehension how this totally inept, ignorant, corrupt, unqualified do nothing still stands in front of a mike and people actually repeat the rhetoric. Someone please inform me of Ms. Rice's accomplishments as "Secretary of State" What diplomatic strides has she made on behalf of the United States? All I have read and seen pretty much shows her total contempt for accomplishing anything in the interest of our country. Her total indifference and participation in the desturction of a non threatening country, millions of deaths and displaced innocent Iraqis, the melt down of our military, and of course the enabling of unchecked fraud, and waste of millions of tax payer dollars and all of this perpetrated by "manipulation", "deciet", "fear mongering", and the "phony" war on terror rhetoric she helped shove down the throats of the American people. I for one never believed anything these con artists had to say, and that does not make me "unpatriotic" that makes me an American.

I see that Mitt Romney's company, Bain Capital, is in the process of buying ClearChannel Communications, one of the nation's biggest media broadcast companies (http://www.clearchannel.com/Corporate/PressRelease.aspx?PressReleaseID=1824). How interesting that this is timed to coincide with Romney's presidential run.

The current debate between presidential candidates and the new media is insulting, if not down right disrespectful. Where is Sigmund Freud when you need him to annualize why people talk about subjects they are uncomfortable with.

I have a name the current “Hot Button” debate between the candidates and news media over religion. “Freudian Pandering”, and Mike Huckabee is responsible.

It began when the candidates and talk show hosts became scared of Mike Huckabee’s appeal to American’s faithful. So as politicians do, they jumped on Huckabee’s bandwagon and started competing with each other to see who was the most religious and most Mike Huckabee-like!

“Freudian Pandering”; To “do anything or say anything” to get elected. If you can not beat them, join them!

Jeff Jones stated:
"Condi is not a Bush Lackey as many like to think, but rather she is a loyal subordinate."

Jeff, Jeff, Jeff.

A 'lackey' is someone who tells the boss what the boss wants to hear. "Pay no attention to those pesky FACTS, here's what you want to hear."

'Loyalty' means the subordinate tells the boss the FACTS, even if the FACTS are bad, and even if the boss doesn't want to hear the FACTS. Then the loyal subordinate helps the boss to do the right thing for the company, organization, country, welfare of the people, etc., within the parameters of action that are available, given the FACTS of the situation.

Rice IS the 'lackey', not the loyal subordinate.

It may be a dumb question, but isn't Condi 'THE ARCHITECT' of Foreign Policy? If she is so correct, how come our prestige has dipped down in the world we live in? She ought to get a 'Reality Check'!

Huck was only speaking the truth when he used the phrase "arrogant. bunker mentality." I can't think of a time when Condi, or her boss for that matter, have ever spoken the real truth without hiding something.

I love it when Repbulicans begin to eat their own. Mittens Romney is the biggest "brown noser" I've ever seen. I give Huckabee credit. He has the stones to speak the truth. Calling this administration's foreign policy as an "arrogant, bunker mentality" is giving Condi, GW and Cheney way too much credit. I think this administration's policy is tied to big oil, private war contractors and other big business interest pure and simple.

Whats more "ludicrous" is that its true and Huckabee should not apologize! Everyone except this adminstration knows that it is a 'go it alone' operation. I guess we need to define "alone" for W. Maybe he does not understand the word or concept??
