Giuliani: 'I'm in very good health' after hospital stay

Rudy Giuliani speaks to reporters Saturday after returning to the campaign trail following an illness.

(CNN) – As he returned to the campaign trail this weekend, Republican presidential hopeful Rudy Giuliani was still facing questions about his brief hospital stay several days ago, but assured reporters he was fine.

Rudy Giuliani speaks to reporters Saturday after returning to the campaign trail following an illness.

"I've had all these tests taken the other day. They all came out 100 percent," Giuliani told CNN on Saturday.

"I'm in very good health. I had a very bad headache, that's what precipitated it, and they checked out everything."

The former New York City mayor - who has cut back on his originally scheduled campaign events this weekend - was admitted to a hospital in St. Louis, Missouri, on Wednesday.

Doctors put the former mayor through a battery of tests during his overnight hospital stay. His campaign has so far not revealed what conditions those tests were intended to rule out.

After hours of silence from Giuliani's campaign staff, a spokeswoman told reporters at dawn Thursday that the tests found "nothing was alarming" - but would not elaborate on what the results were.

In Canada it really ticks me off when someone does not show up for work because they have a headache.
The other thing that ticks me off is Lawyers like Edwards that drove up medical costs by suing doctors for huge amounts over and over because the medical community paid then the people pay so the health premiems really just end up covering lawsuits not medical care.

    to Good health then:

Have China take its owned American currency and purchase the farms of Afghanistan to de-poppify them under legal ownership. If America matches the Chinese investment with managed Afghani labour costs and grants the farming management of the properties to the Afghani national government with all produce first promised to the government of China without an increase or take in the profit margin accept for that taken of the Afghanistan custom agency; China will gain value from the investment and an increased respect for America.

Nato would then facilitate the lease of farm implements to America's Aghanistan managed farmers for an industrial revolution as such a management lease would be facilitiated under a tax presented to the afghanistan people (mostly those farmers). The farmers pay for the tax with income gained from the sale of lands and the regular employment. This puts Afghanistan equal in debt to the net investment of which China instills and while America gains from the the bulk of the farm implement lease.

gross irrigation is expected in a middle east unity plan.

It appears that Giuliani may withdraw from the presidential campaign soon, as he did during the senate race in 2000.

As before, he has realised that his chance of winning is getting slim, and will find an excuse of health reason to withdraw soon.

Meanwhile, he will postpone that decision to withdraw, as the campaigns have made him a multi-millionaire.

I am pleased that Rudy is healthy. I am also pleased that he has absolutely no chance of becoming the next President. Yay!

Remember the Supreme Justices don't have to disclose their health issues and I believe Giuliani now has the same immunity. Giuliani's health is important. Remember the order of succession in the event a president cannot serve out his term. First he reported flu-like symptons and now he says a bad headache which I would say 90% of us have had the same and never required anything more than an aspirin.

Flu-like symptoms do not require reversing a plane journey when it is almost reaching its destination NY. Rudy, you could have completed your flight to NY, NY and seen a doctor there you home state Rudy!!!

Watch the polls! You are loosing momentum and McCain is gaining momentum. Both will loose the nomination. Iraq hawks can not win the general election in 2008 against Hillary!!!

    Go Hillary44 08! http://hillaryis44.org/

As someone who is probably going to vote for McCain I thought I'd say that I just heard a bunch of famous quotes and speeches over the last 100 years and when Giuliani spoke after 9/11 it brought me chills. Whatever you feel about the guy lets not forget his leadership at that time. I know people accuse him of running soley based on that experience, but can't that work two ways? If he can get critized for it why not praised for the good leadership he showed. Giuliani is a national hero and only those on the far-left don't remember him as one.
