People get REAL!!!

Obama does not have the experience it takes to make the changes he is promising - perhaps in the future, but not this election.

HILLARY TO THE HILL!!!

Yeap, here’s another poll showing Clinton ahead in the Iowa poll. Two of my daily reads are our Atlanta Journal Constitution (ajc.com) and the Internet News Agency (internetnewsagency.com). INA’s Matt Towery, (he used to be the chair for Newt’s political campaigns and now he writes a national political column and he does a web broadcast about everyday), has posted an article and a web cast discussing his Iowa Poll. It’s a interesting read as well as a good narration on the web cast.

Wake up America. Do you really want 4 more years of dynasitc politics? Furthermore- even if you do.....Hillary is not the best bet to beat the Republicans- if anything she will rally their base to unprecendented numbers. If you really want a candiate wh can win AND bring about real change- vote OBAMA. He not only has a vast amount of support among democrats, but he can seal the deal with independents and moderate republican's too. As for experience, if Obama's two decades of service on the ground as a civil rights activist is good enough for the people he fought for, its good enough for me as a middle class american trying to make ends meet. This year I'm voting my conscience instead of voting the way my fellow dems bullied me to in the last election ( which was ultimately fruitless ). They told me Kerry was more electable than Dean. %^*$! Thanks.

The absurd argument to vote for Clinton bceause she is the candiate of "experience" doesn't sit well with me. As first lady she jet-setted about with Bill and sipped tea with a few dignitaries and suddenly she's the saviour of our party? What a load of crap. Futhermore, people wake up! Clinton can't beat a republican, in fact, she will rally their base to unprecedeted numbers - ..and where will that leave us....with Mitt Romney as President? Good Lord, I might as well move to Canada now if they will have me. Even if you think she can win, Clinton voters, please ask yourselves...."What good is Clinton as our democratic nominee if all she gives us is 4 more years of dynastic politics?" This year I'm voting my conscience. I'm going to "roll the dice" and vote for Obama. He is THE candidate of hope and change in the democratic party. If two decades on the ground fighting for civil rights is good enough for the folks he fought for, then its good enough for me as a middle class american trying to make ends meet.

The people in this Country better wake up and vote right this time. We need to forget the politics and look really close at all the candidates and wonder why only a few get the top places in the debates. Who's running the show the news media (nbc, cbs, abc) or are we grown up enough to check out the voting records and background of these people ourselves. The news media are going to try and tell you who is ahead and who you should vote for but can you trust them. I think not. I have not voted for a Rep. since Reagan ran the first time and a Dem. since Geo. Wallace ran. I don't trust the true Rep or Dem I see no difference in them. Geo. Bush has proven this for 8 years. He and Mr. Clinton have gone down the same path. And it ain't an American path. Look at the candidates. Look at Mr. Ron Paul's voting record in the Congress. We have a Ron Paul sticker on our car and have had for 12 years and we don't even live in his district anymore. That is how good he is. When the Rep. and Dem. do not give you someone to vote for you have to go elsewhere or write someone in and I have done this on may occasions.

Why is it that I see that all Democrats on this blog are now avoiding the Iraqi war issue? Since the last report, which was about a month ago...violence had dropped to levels below that before the war began...ooops, now it's time to change your tune, now it's the economy...what's the excuse there? Let's see, oh I'm sorry, all you European legislative lovers, Germany has 10% unemployment, France almost went bankrupt with it's "Universal Healthcare", similar to that of the Old Soviet Union and now now in Cuba, just ask the Canadians, who now have a conservative Government to straighten everything out. Not only that, but I also see how ignorant some of you are because some here believe that BUSH is running again! Boy, after reading this page, I'm convinced now that there really is no thought process involved when you think like a liberal! Look, I'll admit Bush was really bad! However, it doesn't help matters when your newly elected congress (that of the famous 11% approval rating), of which I admit also "voted for change". Don't vote because your a Democrat or Republican...Vote because you still can. However, that is my fear Hillary lovers. Be honest with everyone here..She's and Edwards are Socialists (Amazing, I remember a curtain Fidel Castro who ran as a...Socialist also) Yes,i am Cuban! If you are really ready for change, vote for Hillary. I know I'm not...Good Luck!

Does CNN realize that there are other candidates running for president besides Obama and Clinton, and that neither of them can win?

Want the White House back in '08, Dems? We have one chance: JOHN EDWARDS.

Want proof? When was the last time you heard anyone in the GOP say, 'Oh! I hope the Dems nominate Edwards! That'll be easy!'

Think, people! The GOP is licking its chops for a shot at Clinton and Obama. Don't give them what they want.

Edwards '08!

Don't be Afraid To Stand Up And Just Say NO - To Obama '08 :(

Time to take back our White House and be proud to be an American again - at home and around the world.

Dreams and hopes don't happen unless we roll up our sleeves and WORK for them!! We are not children anymore, but the future of OUR children is at stake in 2008!!

Choose wisely...

Although she may yet win the Iowa primary, this poll is bogus. The reason is that all other recent polls show a tight race. There wouldn't be a drastic change unless Obama had a "Howard Dean" moment.

As for Hillary's merits, there are none. She is more mendacious than LBJ and as dirty as Richard Nixon. Since completing law school 30+ years ago, she has accomplishing nothing on her own merit except be the political hitman for her husband.

Her latest statement that oil will drop in price when she is elected takes the cake. Do you really want to vote for some with such hubris and who is obvious dissembler.

Hey, CNN predicts Hillary winning again! Why am I not shocked?

But, my comment is to the guy who ranted about deficient spending, illegitimate war, etc, etc. and wants to throw the bums out... I agree.

Let's just start with Hillary. No more clintons, no more bush's.... ever. Who voted for the war, supports it, and says it will go on indefinately after she takes office?... Hillary. Explosion in the size of government? Sorry but I haven't heard Hillary talked much about that. Image of shame around the world? Umm. Excuse me but just is someone who voted for the war supposed to change attitudes? In fact, it makes her seem weak and ineffective that she's had to do this double speak to explain it.

You know, she didn't HAVE to vote for it. No one put a gun to her head and said "vote with Bush or else". She did it and even gave a remarkable speach in favor of it on the Senate floor. You should read it sometime. You would think Bush wrote it.

OK, so you want change? Let's not forget Nafta... the great "helper" to preserving jobs in the US. Hillary still won't say Bill blew it on that one. I don't see a lot of change there.

Let me ask you this. What single event MOST destroyed any chance of health care reform in the past 20 years? Yep. It was Hillary's fiasco. She acted like a dictator and it came back to bite her. Since then, no one wants to go down that road again. Well, thanks Hillary. No healthcare reform for 20 years. That's a heck of a record to run on.

So, I actually AGREE with you. Throw the bums out.... just start with HILLARY. We need to start NEW again. Take the drama out of the White House and put it back on Network TV where it belongs!

The east and west coast Hillar-ites are out for a surprise. Iowan's are way smarter than they give them credit for. I'm convinced that they'll do the right thing and realize that Hillary is the WRONG person and exactly the WRONG time.

We need to build up and come together, not to destroy. When people say they want CHANGE, the Clintons ego can't even understand what that means. Hey Bill and Hillary... Get this: The CHANGE we refer to is.... YOU!

If we MUST vote for someone in a Party, so far Huckabee is the Rep one I will consider. I do disagree with only 2 of his ideas. Jon Paul is the Dem one I would vote for.I disagree with many more of all the other candidates. Now all I need is for the media to cover all the other party's like they do Dem's and Republicans. That would be a FAIR and REAL Election!

A man who votes for Hillary is an emasculated male, with no real identity. He is a man trapped, who bends his knee at the altar of femininity with no idea what real masculinity is beyond a bunch of fat guys sitting on a couch drinking beer, farting, and eating pizza.

A man who votes for hillary is a lost man. He is a man like an old sea lion swimming in an aquarium for so many years, he can no longer remember the sea. It is nothing more than a myth, lost in history long forgotten. The liberal man is a lost man. All he knows is femininity, his own masculinity has been evaporated, and he is without identity. Pity him, for he is full of sorrow.

"Go Hillary go!!! By the way, right wing nut jobs, don't think for one minute that democrats will withhold their vote if Hillary is the nominee. We will support ANY democrat to get us out of this mess that the republicans have gotten us into, even if it's not our first choice."

Speak for yourself Mark. I am as liberal as they come, yet I will never vote for Hillary. I can't stomach the prospect after her positively disgusting sliming of Obama over the last 3 weeks. I will sit the 2008 vote out if she is the nominee.

For all you Hillary/Obama advocates: If you think we have fiscal irresponsibility now, you ain't seen nothing until one of them gets in the White House. By the way, I thought Dems were going to bring change from the way things are done in D.C....Looks like they haven't changed anything. They act like our money is their money and Hillary is just more of the same. What experience does she have??? What job has she held? What office other than Senator? What executive position? What program has she ever championed that was successful??? She's a Socialist who simply wants power because she thinks it owed to her. Is that your idea of qualification for the President??? If you want communism, then she is certainly your person.

did the clintons pay for this poll?
i have never met a single person who told me that they even liked hillary, let alone that they were planning on voting for her. where are these people? real americans are scared to death of their options.
the people who think that one party is better or more legitimate than the other one are falling right into the hands of the media.

When is anyone going to wake up to the fact that all we are is mice in the politicians maze? They put out some cheese and we all scurry around to find it! Did anyone ever stop and think that if they cut taxes on small businesses and had them put that money toward health care, We could cover everyone in this country. We pay 10,000 to 12,000 quarterly in California for taxes, that would buy a lot of Health care for our employees. We are a small restaurant.
We sit in traffic, because the same idiots allow new homes to go up all over, yet never stop and think about widening the freeways. While I sit on the 15 fwy in riverside and stare at about 50 feet of wide open dirt in between the north and south lanes (that has been there for 15 years) I wonder why anyone gets so worked up about who is going to be President. We don't even have anyone smart enough to run a state let alone a country. WE ARE THE STUPID PEOPLE FOR VOTING THE PARTY LINE AND NOT TRYING TO THROW OUT ALL THE BUMS WHO GET UP THERE AND PROMISE US ALL THESE GOODIES, like they are KINGS AND QUEENS and we should be grateful!!! ITS OUR MONEY THAT FUNDS THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT!!!!
The priorities should be NATIONAL DEFENSE, NATIONAL DISASTERS, and making sure other countries RESPECT our borders and our traditions, and a few other pressing issues. These should not be FULL TIME JOBS. They should meet every once in a while and do the business of the people and go home to real jobs, then and only then will they have the best interest of the people at heart!
Thank you and good night!

Most of Mrs. Clinton's "experience" is in lying and extracting her husband from his nasty personal imbroglios. And we're all still waiting how to learn to turn $10,000 into $100,000 by reading the Wall Street Journal. Please let us know, Mrs. Clinton, as the money can be used to donate to Bill's and your victims. And, too, since you're the "smartest woman in America," perhaps you could let us know why you failed (of all things) the D.C. Bar Exam. My, that's impressive.

Nice try, Clintonista's but I don't buy it as I don't by most polls, as it all depends on how, and to whom, the questions are asked.

This is nothing but a cheap ploy due to Hillary's plummeting numbers and nothing more. The votes will do the talking and will show that this "poll" is nothing more than empty words and numbers.

I've said it for the last two years and I'm sticking by my guns; Hillary will NOT be elected President of the United States of America, period, end of story.

The Republicans will no doubt win the White House if the Democrat Party continues their arrogance in thinking that this country, right or wrong, will elect a female President. They will not and UNBIASED poll after poll has proven this.

Keep up this charade, and the Republicans will not only retain the White House in '08, but more than likely the entire Congress as well, due in large part to the failed policies of the Democrat Party to either impeach or impugn President Bush, as well as time after time fail to achieve any of their goals regarding the Iraq War.

Hillary Clinton will bury any GOP out there. The GOPs who think otherwise have lost what was left of their minds. Only McCain has a chance against clinton in november.
I hope the GOP is silly enough to nominate Romney. Then Hillary Clinton will become President in a landslide.
I look forward to seeing Texas go DEM on election night. That is what will happen if romney gets the GOP nod.
Clinton will be a fierce candidate who can take anything the RNC can throw at her.

obama is just out of his leauge. He's trying so hard, but he's just better suited to be in charge of the little leauge association or something fun and easy. Could you see him running the war on terror? I can't!! In short Hillary has no worries with this youngster

O, Hilary. This dyed-in-the-wool lefty much prefers Kucinich, then Richardson, then Edwards, but alas is resigned to learning to live with Clinton as the Democratic candidate. I would have to plug both nostrils with Vicks VapoRub, but I'd vote for her over any Republican. (I cannot imagine myself voting for any R for anything, ever, period.) Why? Well, read Jeffrey Toobin's "The Nine," and learn how the R party time and time again advances its longest-range cryptofascist goals with its nominations to the Supreme Court. At the very least Clinton would nominate less odious justices. Thin gruel, I acknowledge, but, given how things are set up, it's all we're gonna get.

Hillary has NO experience. None. Zero. She is purely a creation of an adoring press. She watched her lotharian husband roam from chick to chick and did not care as long as it didn't interfere with her political aims. she was glad he was diverted so that she wouldn't have to touch him. What a creepy and sick pair, those Clintons. Oh, remember: Bill never got 50% of the popular vote.

By referring to Clinton's experience are you confessing that she ran the White House while her husband was president? Clinon is gutless which is why the Dems handed her the Senate seat in NY. She knew she couldn't win anywhere else because Mass. was already spoken for. Get real everybody ... she's got nothing.

This is LAUGHABLE. The ABC/Washington Post poll (which is usually the headline grabber on every news site, including Drudge) AND is the most popular, most respected, and thorough poll on the web just released their results that shows OBAMA AHEAD OF CLINTON 32-29. Where's the headline for that? Oh right, it's CNN (Clinton News Network). How many "likely caucus goers" did were even polled in this? I went to the ARG site and it didn't even say.

I can probably find some poll on the internet that shows Kucinich ahead, but that doesn't mean the squirrely dude's gonna win anything.

Wow! I think someone is pulling your leg. These polls are historically inaccurate and Hillary will be lucky to finish second. It's Obama first...and Hillary and Edwards neck and neck for second best. On the GOP side, bank on Huckabee followed by McCain and Romney. Easy call.
