Giuliani on Bhutto: Bring 'murderers' to justice

WASHINGTON (CNN) - Republican Rudy Giuliani said Thursday the "murderers" Bhutto must be "brought to justice."

"The assassination of Benazir Bhutto is a tragic event for Pakistan and for Democracy in Pakistan. Her murderers must be brought to justice and Pakistan must continue the path back to democracy and the rule of law. Her death is a reminder that terrorism anywhere - whether in New York, London, Tel Aviv or Rawalpindi - is an enemy of freedom. We must redouble our efforts to win the Terrorists' War on Us," he said in a statement

A new general election poll from Oklahoma has Edwards running 20 points better than Clinton and leading against Romney and Giuliani. And there is plenty of evidence now that Giuliani is running very poorly in red states.

Does Giuliani understand that this was a political assasination, not an act of terrorism? I dont think we need another prez who "dosen't do nuance".

What if the assassin was also the person that had the bomb strapped on? Should the U.S. taxpayer elect Giuliani and fork over another 50 billion dollars to bring someone to justice?

-"Mr. Giuliani did not mention 9/11 John, you did"

Actually, he mentioned "the terrorists' war on us" and "New York" in consecutive sentences. I'm sorry, I don't have my Orwellian earpiece in like you. If FDR mentioned "Hawaii" and "enemy fighter pilots", it doesn't take a Rhodes Scholar to bridge that gap.

I heard Giuliani say on CNN the assassination placed the administration in a difficult position and that he "would not want to be in those shoes". Well, those are the shoes his running to fill, how come no comment on the first true reaction by Giuliani?

he also said that Iraq distracted us from hunting those responsible for 9/11 and other terrorist

"Her murderers must be brought to justice..."
Unless I misread, her murderer(s) are dead (hence the phrase 'suicide bomber'). What justice does he want to bring? Attack those who were associated with the bomber? Hurt more people? Kill others? Justice is not an eye for an eye, I don't understand how we as a nation could follow a person who wants to lead us down that path (again).
