A little reality check for everyone out there. Don't expect saintly perfection from Mike Huckabee. Let's not "shoot down" every person who calls us to a higher plain and TRIES to live to a higher standard himself. As he has often been quick to acknowledge himself, He, like the rest of us, is imperfect and makes mistakes. What we SHOULD do is be GRATEFUL to have a sincere and honest man in the presidential race who is TRYING to change the way "politics as usual" is practiced in our country. As we should all know - we need such a change!

Mike Huckabee has my complete support. This is the first chance we have had in a very long time, to have a leader who is for "the people" of America

All of the negative attack ads will not change Mike's proven leadership record. As everyone has seen, Mike Huckabee has surged to number one in the polls. When people hear him speak, they understand why he is the right choice to be the next President of the United States.

God bless Mike. If "we Americans" stick together, our country will move ahead stronger than ever with Mike leading it.

I endorse Mike Huckabee.

Huckabee played the religion card in an attempt to frame Mitt Romney as someone who does not believe in Jesus Christ. Mitt Romney declared in his speech that he does believe in Jesus Christ. Neverthess many evangelicals reject Romney based on his religion. Huckabee knew that he could exploit his religion for his gain. I believe that the push poll several weeks ago where Mitt Romney was attacked about his religion was from the Huckabee camp. Now, we know that this current push poll is from the Huckabee camp. I just learned that this practice is criminal. So my question is are these Christians breaking the law in support of Mike Huckabee?
WWJD??????

Mitt Romney is running a honest campaign. If the facts in the ad that Mitt Romney is currently running are incorrect than why does Huckabee hide his record from the press? Why hide his record at all? What does Huckabee have to hide? Did you know that Huckabee made the top 10 list of 2007 Most Corrupt Politicans?

Why anyone would want to support an individual that would stand passively by while his supporters broke the law. Why anyone would want to support a candidate that refuses release his records while he was governor , much less a candidate who made the top 10 list of 2007 most corrupt politicans.

Cedar Falls - You make dishonest accusations .... just like Romney. Huckabee never released a rapist. He never pardoned, commuted or paroled Dummond. Similar to Romney, you make an accusation, repeat it as though it were fact, and then keep repeating it until others believe it. If you want to attack Huckabee, at least make sure it's on factual grounds. Your arguments might then have a little more weight.

I think Romney is going to win big on Thursday. You can sense opinion in Iowa moving towards him. That combined with his $ and organization - its not lookin good for the Huckster.

I think the bigger challenge for MR is New Hampshire and Johnny Mac. I frankly like Mitt and John. I think the local papers there are primarily responsible for the McCain surge, however, if Romney wins Iowa, his organization is strong enough that he should win NH...barely. If he loses it could be enough to put McCain over the top...barely.

My prediction: 8 point MR win in Iowa; 3 point MR win in New Hampshire. Michigan should be a big win for Mitt as well but there are too many questions regarding South Carolina and the effect of the prior primaries/caucuses on that race to predict it right now.

This is a very dangerous time. A time that requires serious leadership. The next president will have a very serious and very immediate task of restoring the credibility of this country. We need serious leadership and these lightweights don't measure up.

Romney is so fake, he's like a mirage. He thinks Bush has done a great job, for cyring out loud. He changes positions at will to suit his political ambitions... and he has zero foreign policy experience. Worst of all, people don't trust him; he comes off as a slicked-hair, sleazy, hedge-fund wall street type. In 2000, conservatives wanted a president who could "run the country like a business" - well, look how awful that turned out. You got Cheney, Haliburton, endless war at a cost of $15,000,000,000 per month, mostly for Iraq - the secular arab state that Reagan supported with weapons and money.

Huckabee has surged becuase people believe him more than Slick Romney; however, McCain is far and away the best rebulican candidate (other than Ron Paul).

I cannot support Huckabee for the simple fact that he is too mushy & gushy.
Sometimes mushy gushy is good but not without spine.
If someone wants to offer sound back bone TRUTH in the republican party I will consider voting for them, but NOT if they are subject to being run over.
Huckabee just dont have the backbone I'm looking for in a Comander in Cheif
neither does McCain...we need some with sound and CONSISTANT principals
period or we can kiss this Nation good-bye!

Wow... Pastor Huckster in less than 48 hours he has...

1.	SAID THAT THE US NEEDED TO APOLOGIZE REGARDING BHUTTO (campaign later clarified)

2.	WONDERED IF MARSHAL LAW WOULD CONTINUE EVEN THOUGH MARSHAL LAW ENDED TWO WEEKS AGO(campaign later clarified)

3.	SCREWED UP SAYING PAKISTAN DOES NOT HAVE ENOUGH CONTROL OF ITS EASTERN BORDERS NEAR AFGHANISTAN (but Pakistan shares it's western border with Afghanistan, not eastern)

4.	SCREWED UP SAYING WE HAVE MORE PAKISTANI ILLEGALS COMING ACROSS OUR BORDER THAN ALL OTHER NATIONALITIES EXCEPT THOSE IMMEDIATELY SOUTH OF THE BORDER. (just wrong... plain wrong... illegals from Philippines, India, Korea, China and Vietnam were all far more numerous than those from Pakistan)

5.	SHOT A SHOTGUN OVER THE HEADS OF REPORTERS LESS THAN A FOOTBALL FIELD AWAY... and

6.	GOT NAMED TO THE LIST OF TOP 10 MOST CURRUPT POLITICIANS OF 2007.

7.	AND IMPLIED THAT HE HAD BOLTON ADVISING HIM ON FOREIGN POLICY WHEN IN FACT HE HAD ONLY SENT HIM AN EMAIL?

RELEASING MURDERERS + LYING ABOUT BOLTON + SHOOTING OVER PEOPLE + DOING A SLEAZY/CHEAZY HIT PIECE = DON'T VOTE FOR THE HUCKSTER!!

Many people seem to want to disregard religion and turn their backs to what made this country great, the belief in God! Religion has not ruined this country, it is being ruined by people who want to forget religion, morality, and integrity. This country is made up by a majority of the "religious right", only they don't scream as loud as those who want to change the foundation of this great country. We need a Presidential candidate who, like many of the Presidents that have come before, is God fearing. I do want the "religious right" to make policy for this country, because then maybe the country will choose to keep its' morality, decency, and integrity.

Bush, doing a good job? Is that why Iraq and the middkle east are doing so well? And why there are 47 million americans without health insurance and why we went from a big surplus in 2001 to a huge deficit?

Hickabee might make a decent counselor at a Baptist summer camp, or maybe an Arkansas social worker or Salvation Army bell ringer. But in the role of international leader, he is frighteningly Carter-ish. It's twoo!!

So why don't Republicans want people to become pro-life? You guys ram down our throats and then when someone becomes pro-life, instead of throwing a victory party, you hate the person.
No wonder the Democrats won the House and Senate.
Democrats are gonna win in November!

Huckabee is actually attacking Romney for something good!?! What an idiot. I have really lost my patience with Huckabee. He totally disgusts me. There is no way that I can support him as a president.

What does religion have anything to do with the election. Did not anyone hear the speach that MR. Romney gave. We should be looking at morals and intergrity, and what he has done in the past. Look at Bush, he was an alchie, and has he done a good job. I think its about time we elect someone with morals and intergrity. This should not be about religion.

Any Republican that supports the policies of Bush will not get my vote. Including Huckabee. I do not want the "religious right" to make policy for me or this country. These people have driven our country halve way down the drain.

The irony here is that Mike Huckabee (the 'moral Christian candidate'?) has admitted that he made an error in releasing a convicted rapist who then raped again, eventually killing another after his release. Oops! Shall we hound you for that one? I welcome and applaud anyone who changes their views from supporting abortion to supporting life. Think of the 'good' that comes from this, not the 'why' that comes from this, the babies that may be saved, not the votes you're trying to grab away. You are selfish to NOT be happy to have another Pro-Lifer. Selfish in the worst way, too. Mike Huckabee you should be ashamed of yourself as a Baptist Pastor. This is like telling a forgiven sinner that he/she is truly not forgiven and then repeatedly reminding them of their sins. Stop this insanity, people! I invite and welcome anyone to join those of us who support life at conception without hounding you for your previous stand. What a judging group of people these folks must be.

So intersting that a Huckabee Push Poll Group would highlight Governor Romney changing from pro-choice to pro-life. If they were an honest group, they would be commending him for making the right decision.
