Protesters block Huckabee

Protesters lined Huckabee's Iowa campaign quarters Monday.

Protesters lined Huckabee's Iowa campaign quarters Monday.

DES MOINES, Iowa (CNN) – Anti-war protestors and Ron Paul supporters both kept Mike Huckabee from entering his Iowa campaign headquarters through the front door Monday.

Three people who managed to break inside - holding a sign that said "What Would Jesus Bomb?" - were arrested and led away, yelling and singing.

Around two dozen Ron Paul supporters outside chanted 'Legalize the Constitution.'

You know, that is a good question. Who would Jesus bomb?

I guess he would take the position of peacemaker wouldn't he?

Wow, Ron Paul makes even more sense!

Amazing a story about Ron Paul....The only way anyone is going to report on Ron Paul is when Huckabee shoots him with that hunting rifle while chanting paul is dead paul is dead paul is dead....

Wrong. The peace peace protesters were doing to blocking. Paul supporters were standing separate from that group and were not related.

Ron Paul supporters didn't block anyone. They were off to the side, away from the anti-war crowd.

To be perfectly clear. None of Ron Paul supporters were arrested. The anti-war group got out of hand and three were arrested.

Well, even with any bitterness among supporters of the Republican front runners as the caucuses near, at least we can breathe a collective sigh of relief that the Ron Paul supporters will all fade away soon enough.

That is an outright lie. Ron Paul supporters did not block Huckabee from entering. More media lies from CNN.

Wrong. Ron Paul's headquarter is next to huckabee's, so of course there are Ron Paul supporters, but they did never at any point stop mike huckabee.

Come on. CNN is not doing their fact checking. The Ron Paul Campaign has their headquarters right next door.

The Anti-War Protestors, not associated with the Ron Paul supporters were the ones holding up Huckabee and were also the ones arrested.

Please quit trying to associate Ron Paul supporters with people who have committed the offense.

This is getting out of hand!

Ron Paul's voting record makes him clearly the only person we can trust to send to the White House. Military Vet., Doctor, Statesman. He has no regret for anything he has ever said. NO excuses about raising taxes or flip flopping on the Life issue. He understands monetary policy and how to defend our country. Constitutional Government is really not that radical. Do not take anyones word on what Dr. Paul stands for but his own.
If you are not already in the Ron Paul Revolution and you are a Republican ask your self will your candidate take votes from Democrats? Libertarians? Greens? Constitution Party? In a close race these votes will count. Has your candidate supported amnesty for illegals? Abortion? Taxes? NAFTA? Warrantless Wiretapping? Welfare for Military Dictatorships? He has never voted to spend a dime of the Social Security trust fund or to increase his own pay after 10 terms in the congress. Take a look at his military endorsements, these are the real heroes not movie stars. Look at his family life read his amazing biography.
Ron Paul is the most honest and moral man in Washington and deserves your vote.

Well said, "Romney doesn't need endorsements from corrupt political dealmakers and purchased newspaper editors…he just needs votes from people who support improving our nation, our living standards, our schools, our national security, our government, our image abroad!

Romney will bring change, efficiency and respect to the oval office!"

Boy, some in the GOP really want those Ron Paul law abiding citizens holding signs to shut up and fade away fast. In the picture I see Ron Paul supporters at a distant blocking no one. Gee I wonder who those guys’s blocking the entrance work for? Mike Huckabee maybe?

"What Would Jesus Bomb"? That is very sad. these folks don't know what Jesus taught when he gave his life for our sins. Truly incredible and sad.

The support for Ron Paul results from American disgust that we have sold our democracy to the Corporate elite billionairs who have sent all our jobs overseas and left us to buy garbage made by slave labor in China. Who have mismanaged the war on terror so that we are about to crumble from debt like Reagan did to the Soviet union in Afghanistan. Who tell us that Social Security is not funded while squandering billions on wastefull foreign aid to countries that hate us. If Ron Paul was just a tiny bit less wacky sounding. he would be the next president Since that will not happen then please nominate Huckabee and Obama and prove to the world tht the USA is truly a democracy where the common man can grow up to be President.

Since you asked, Jesus would bomb those that target and kill the women and children. Any doubt who they are you Ron Paul supporters, who tarnish an otherwise good man? Next question from the lunatic fringe ...... anyone ?

Ron Paul's success on January 3rd will be an indication that his supporters won't fade away for a long time.

Is CNN as biased and unprofessional as Fox? Ron Paul supporters stood peacefully outside. Anti-war supporters unaffiliated with Ron Paul stormed Huck's office and were arrested.

Please get your facts straight. An apology and retraction is in order.

Would someone please tell the Huckabee supporters its over, time to get real? He attacks Morons, offends Christians, gets called out on his tax record, likes to send illegals to school for free, and is instrumental in letting murderers out of jail. So when other campaigns call him out on this, he answers back there running a negative campaign. Then he calls off his own negative campaign adds today while he runs his latest negative add to reporters? I'm sure the Ron Paul sign holders were in there designated free speech zone. Don't paint them! Poor Mike. So misunderstood! So self righteous! Hallelujah

I'm the meetup group organizer of the Des Moines Area & Central Iowa Ron Paul Support Group and I just got off the phone with Paul's Des Moines Headquarters and it seems CNN can't get it right. No Ron Paul supporters were involved and they did not block Mr. Huckabee from entering his office. Ron Paul supporters don't do that sort of thing. Yes, we'll go to other candidates' events and hand-out literature but we are not disruptive of the other candidates or their supporters from coming and going and speaking. Clearly, the anti-war protesters who entered Huckabee's office and were arrested are not Paul supporters. CNN should issue a correction immediately.
