Protesters block Huckabee

Protesters lined Huckabee's Iowa campaign quarters Monday.

Protesters lined Huckabee's Iowa campaign quarters Monday.

DES MOINES, Iowa (CNN) – Anti-war protestors and Ron Paul supporters both kept Mike Huckabee from entering his Iowa campaign headquarters through the front door Monday.

Three people who managed to break inside - holding a sign that said "What Would Jesus Bomb?" - were arrested and led away, yelling and singing.

Around two dozen Ron Paul supporters outside chanted 'Legalize the Constitution.'

I wouldn’t be surprised if it was law enforcement arresting other law enforcement officers who 'got out of hand'. In FACT, google 'law enforcement carrying rocks incite riot Canada' or something to that extent. There's plenty of videos for that as well. Regardless, it wouldn’t be the 1st time things like this are exaggerated to suit an agenda. Then again, there's some real weird people out there behind EACH of the candidates respectively.

"If we could effectively kill the national pride and patriotism of just one generation we will have won that country. By making readily available drugs of various kinds by giving the teenager alcohol, by praising his wildness by stimulating him with sex literature, and by advertising to him and her (psycho political preparation), we can create the necessary attitude of chaos, idleness, and worthlessness..."

Pastor Huckabee has smote his enemies wherever he goes. He has the full support of Evangelicals the world over. He was anointed by the Leadership to take on Goliath. He will smite the Goliath Romney on election day. He will smite the wayward nations who refuse to listen to his powerful word. With his mighty arm he will crush the countries who refuse to listen and bring them to their knees. He will be one of the greatest Christian presidents – perhaps as great as Jimmy Carter. Onward soldiers and lead the way to bring Pastor Huckabee a great victory today! Let him smite his enemies with a mighty blow! Oh, how happy everyone will be when President Huckabee puts Christ back into America!

Hey Tina, if Ron Paul comes in first or second in NH and Iowa, will you come back here and retract your post?

The Huckabee and Paul offices are right next door to each other and that Paul supporters with signs have always been up and down the streets around the Paul office.

Somehow that is not mentioned in the article.

It sounds like some anti-war protesters showed up in front of Huckabee's office with was also in front of Paul's office. On the street would have been the usual Paul people.

This seems to be a distortion, but I don't know the details. This just smells funny.

Huckabee is a phoney as Mitt, one is a mormon the other a so-called christian.
Sure glad I am voting for OTHER and none of the above, but he is a Republican, and one that will follow the law of the land. We The People will voice that on election day.

I still have not seen Mitt Romney make his Religion the center piece of his campaign. I'll be voting for Paul, but would consider Romney. Huckster on the other hand has no chance in hell of getting my vote.

I was right there getting footage. Ron Paul's supporters are nutcases. They were shouting things about jesus, and how we need to destroy the empire. (America) Does Paul think he has even a remote chance of winning when this is the face of his supporters?

When I first heard the name Ron Paul, I thought, "Wait, that Reggae guy is running for President? And he's got this much support? And it's not farcical?"

Then I realized I was thinking of Sean Paul. My bad.

    Vote Democratic in '08, mon.

    This is FALSE!

Ron Paul's headquarters is there as well and Paul supporters held a peaceful rally, separate from the militant anti-war protestors, on their side of the street without disrupting anybody!

It was the anti-war protesters who caused a disturbance and sit-in, and were sequentially arrested.

CNN will make it sound like the Ron Paul supporters were the ones that were starting trouble. RP supporters are showing up at all candidates events and waiving signs, they are not the ones causing problems. And by the way, Ron Paul is just getting started. They are registereing a lot of voters in the republican party and they will turn out in larger numbers to vote in the primaries. The polls are only using voters registered at the last election (a reduced number considering the shakout of the republican party). The Neo Cons will only lose if they maintain control of a historically libertarian value based party. RP supporters will outnumber you and you will be forced to accept it or lose. We are dedicated to a restoring of power to the citizens by way of constitution and a government that is less repressive of its people.

    If you don't think we already live in a fascist quazi police state heres a few;

1.) More people in prison than ANY other country in the world.

2.) More laws than ANY other country.

3.) A few pages on paper liberated this country from tyranny by way of the Constitution, the Declaration of Independence, and the Bill of Rights. The IRS code is 60,000 pages of corruption and unconstitutional redistribution of national wealth. Then you have tort law. Can you wake up and live a day without breaking a law? Go directly to jail....

4.) Gee wiz, why are we in Iraq, altruism? NOT...Corporate Greed? Yeah...hope you enjoy seeing your son or daughter with his shiny new prostetics from an IED. maybe next time you'll just buy the oil instead of try to steal it.

5.) 5% of world population and we use 25% of worlds natural resources – think that will last forever?n How selfish and narcissistic can a country be, really..?

6.) Can you drive to work, turn in your 1040 without criminalising yourself? You are bound to break a law every time you do one or the other...

7.) Who gets all the Corn subsidies? ConAgra or poor family farmers?

Can you even have a debate about the IRS?
Can you even have a denbate about Zionist influences onAmerican foreign policy?
The media is owned and controlled by WHO? An Australian? A Jewish Austrailian? And you will allow HIM to determine who will be given adequate air time? Fools....you do not deserve freedom for you know not how to keep it in tact.

PLEASE get the story straight: Ron Paul supporters did NOT prevent Mike Huckabee from entering his HQ. Ron Paul's HQ is adjacent to Huckabees, and Pauls supporters stayed on their own side of the field.

    A correction is in order.

Okay, correction noted. I was beginning to like Ron Paul and his supporters based on this article but apparently there's no reason for me to like him now that this correction has been made. I can find someone with more backbone to vote for.

It's interesting to read the remarks from people that condemn the Ron Paul supporters without reading the comments first. Reminds me of a childhood school lesson where the teacher instructed the students to read all the directions for a quiz before starting. The directions were long so most people disregarded the instruction and starting to work on the quiz. The last line in the directions said that if you had read all the directions you were to give yourself an A and disregard taking the quiz. The vast majority worked for the duration of the class filling out the numerous quiz questions.

I find a parallel with the Ron Paul supporters which I am proud to be one. I find that the Ron Paul supporters are the ones who have taken the time to educate themselves on the issues. They take responsibility instead of shirking it. There is no finer group of people in this country. My only wish is that the opposing supporters would spend the same amount of time and effort that the Ron Paul supporters spend reading about history, the constitution, economics and foreign policy. At the very least educate themselves on the fraud of the Federal Reserve as a starting point. It's a shame that so many people refuse to think for themselves in preference to being spoon all they know from the main stream media.

I hope that this gives at least one person pause that would consider voting for a candidate other than Ron Paul.

    Happy New Year to All

    FYI

As you may be aware. Peaceful anti war groups are infiltrated by government officials posing as anti war. These same tactics were used in CA. I would have to do some research but if I remember correctly the g officials involved were the violent ones to make it appear for media purposes that the group as a whole was engaged in the activity, which they weren't. The state ended up settling for a few million because of the gov conduct.

I wouldn't know this for certain but would check those who were arrested and verify.

Huck's been touting his Christianity all this time – then why won't he answer the simple question:

    WHO WOULD JESUS BOMB, Huck?

Looks to me like Huck is Christian supremacist and a "Christianofascist"..If this guy gets elected, we'll be back to the middle ages fighting crusades and religious wars.

America already discovered the answer: Liberty, Freedom, and Ron Paul!!

OK Romney, time to put up or shut up! Mike Huckabee has asked you for a last one on one discussion before the Iowa caucus. Just you and him…. Are you ready to defend your allegations against Huckabee or hide under your desk?
