The great thing about Ron Paul supporters is they carry a camera and every move thay make is uploaded to Youtube the video this story refers to is documented well on Youtube and shows clearley that not one ron paul supporter corssed the street from their stand. Huckabee wasn;t blocked by Paul supporters. Ron Paul people carry cameras so you - we the people - can watch the videos which disprove media like this crapstick article.

I think it's great that the average person has hope after years of let downs and the same old same old politicians. GOOD LUCK PRESIDENT RON PAUL !!!

To 'Mike - Fredericksburg, VA.

If you do not know by now that Pearl Harbor was 'allowed' to happen just so the American people would be swayed to allow our 'leaders' to take us to war - you need a wake up call, pal!! Ron Paul is not an isolationist -- but you are obviously one of the hypnotized sheep that believe everything your 'TV' tells you --- why do you think they call it 'programming'??
Ahhh ... just go back to watching the 'Fixed Noise' channel -- go back to sleep, little sheep ...... everything will be ok, we won't let the boogeyman get you !!

CNN, "CONS NEWS NETWORK"

Hey, when you're getting paid to bend the truth, do you think they (CNN) would let this opportunity slip through their fingers? You reap what you sow-- CNN, your day is coming,

Mat. 12:36 "But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment." --The Lord Jesus Christ (Your future Judge)

I find it funny how all the logical, informative, constructive, and calm, comments come from RP supporters, while the bias, close-minded, childish ones come from the romney/huck/mccain pack. Its also funny how they all say the exact same things, while pushing aside calls for evidence or examples of such actions. "RP supporters have mental disorders, are extremists, are less intelligent than the general populous, are not patriotic, etc, etc". Progressive action and evolution of social awareness is NOT extremist nor is it out of hand. Propagating corp to government butt-sects and un-needed spending at the expense of YOUR quality of life is.

Howabout you lay down some facts or clues as to why we are so nutty instead of just name calling? Prove your intelligence that you imply is so impressive.

You are completely wrong and should print a correction. Ron Paul HQ is next to Huckabee's. The people who were arrested were protesting anti war and were NOT with the Ron Paul people. We are a peaceful group who are everywhere to support Ron. The new media was surprised to see Ron Paul People when they got there an confused us with the war protestors. Please take the time to get your stories straight if you want to remain credible reporters. Your job depends on that. so remember that.

I think we should ALL make up cardboard signs like the one mentioned and tape them to our car windows. "What would Jesus bomb?" I laughed so long this morning when I saw the video. Wonder what the Huckster had to say about it? Maybe Huck will ask God "What would Jesus bomb?" the next time he gets a phone call from Him!!
Too funny!!!!

I’m so disappointed; I just found out that Ron Paul is a Born-again-Christian. He believes in a distorted view of the constitution. I think everything else about him and his campaign is great but I can’t believe he wants to do away with the rights of non religious citizens. Read his views on religion and compare that to what the founding fathers really said. Carl L. Jones Sr.

I don't know if its pure ignorance or what? The title "protesters block Huckabee" and the first sentence 'anti-war protesters and ron paul supports'.
Anything for a story sounds about right with this story.
Wow! What some reporters will do for us to respond to their "semi-truthful" (twisted) stories.
And they wonder why we like alternative news outlets.

Power Under vs. Power Over---
Jesus (the real one) would never bust into someone else's property. He made like He was going to go on when He arrived at the home of the two men from Emmaus knowing that they desperately wanted to keep talking to Him,but waiting for their invite, not wanting to force himself on anyone. On the other hand, twice in His Father's house,He took out a whip and violently overturned the moneychanger's tables (the Federal Reserve money scammers of their day).Of course, He had a right to do that,it was His property, and they were making a mockery of it. "My house shall not be made a house of merchandising !"

Something has been really bothering me; I'm seeing two kinds of Christianity manifesting in our country. It's even manifesting in the canidates running for office. These two types are at two opposite poles from each other. You've got power under people and power over people to quote Gregory Boyd. There's a disturbing brand of power over Christianity speading over America that says we are going to force our agenda down your throats. If you don't like it, too bad because we''re right! Jesus said,"The greatest (person) is the servant of all.'It's not just in politics either.I've been in churches that had this attitude.Arrogant, conceited,"We pastors and elders are always right ,because we are in authority.Just do whatever we say and even if it is wrong, it will be all right." We refused to bow down to them.We refused to do what we knew was wrong. They
threw us out of "their" church. It was an honor to be thrown out. Ron Paul is a Christian, but he'll never use the name of Jesus to get votes for himself. He doesn't have to tell anyone he's a Christian;he lives it. Freedom comes from God. Freedom is not the norm in the world, oppression is, unfortunately. And it's not all the fault of the elite. It's our fault too. Freedom requires great responsibility and diligence on our part. We've always just assumed we'd always have it. We were told over and over again we did have it, all the while they were insidiously chipping away at it bit by bit. So,as far as the candidates go and our present president also Jesus said,"You'll know them by thier fruits. And for all you guys out there that made comments to the effect that Ron Paul is "weak" or whimpy you just don't understand power under, that's all! It is called "meekness". It empowers others and brings little attention to itself.

It is amazing how uninformed some of these people can be about Ron Paul's position. suggesting he is an isolationist is absurd. he is strictly for free trade not managed trade. He is against wars for NATION BUILDING. He is for our sovereignty not for North American Union. No doubt these are party people who put blind faith in a political party. I am sure they have never heard of the Bilderbergers, Council on Foreign Relations, Tri lateral Commission and other Secret organizations influencing our government. And these people vote. No
wonder our country is in the sorry state it is. I guess anyone who is for following our constitution and our sovereignty is a nut case.

again Communist News Network distorting what really happened with Ron Paul supporters in this event....but you should be doing your research:

Mike Huckabee recently named Richard Haas (the President of the CFR) as his advisor on foreign policy. CNN's WOLF BLITZER asked "Who are your principal foreign policy advisers, Governor?" Mike Huckabee responded: "Well, I have a number of people from whom I get policy. I'm talking to Frank Gaffney, I talk to Richard Haas.."
So what does Richard Haas believe in? Here's an article below which was written by Haas for the Tapei Times. (hyperlink below)It basically states the Bill of Rights and Constitution should be given up in favor of a cooperative world body run by elite consensus. (so what are your views now?)

Dear Chief,

it looks like you haven't been looking at the poll numbers in about 6 months.

According to DES MOINES register latest IOWA polls Ron Paul is at 9% tied with Fred Thompson and above Gulliani, that's right, Ron beats Rudy. Get used to the headline tomorrow.. even CNN's own poll has him tied with Gulliani at 8%.

By "mainstream" projection he'd come at least 4th in Iowa, i'm betting third.

Best thing for you is to educate yourself, apply some logic, and maybe you will see why we are so screwed up.

Ron paul is a democrat? is that why he

never voted to raise taxes.
never voted for a federal restriction on gun ownership.
never voted to raise congressional pay.
never taken a government-paid junket.

And he Voted to cut Government spending, secure our borders with real immigration reform, no amnesty.

Is that why he votes to eliminate abortions and wants to overturn Roe V wade (if you dont know this case, please google)

Tell me Chief, is this a democrat platform? Since when did the constitution became so "democrat"?

Peace chief.

I watched two complete videos of the incident and one thing is clear: The reporter is lying!!
At no time did any Paul supporter hamper the Hucksterbee. Dr Paul's supporters were, in fact, around the corner.
It seems to be a sickness with journalists today. So few are capable of reporting the facts. Perhaps it's time to 86 the lot of them.

If ANYBODY kept Huckabee from entering his headquarter it was the Mass Media gathered outside his door. The Ron Paul supporters were gathered at the office next to Huckabee's, well clear of any H'bee activities. Might as well blame it on H&R Block down the street....!!

To label Ron Paul as an Isolationist is the most lame charge yet.

Since when does "In God we trust, all others pay cash" equate to Isolationism?

Me thinks those suck ups who worship the Welfare-Warfare State are a wee bit confused, or have nothing better to say and have to lie at this point. Take your pick.

Why not admit Huckabee is broke and his Nixonian destruction of computer data upon leaving the governor's office in Arkansas is just more proof that we have another sociopath wrapped in the flag and carrying a cross to get into a position of power where he can do the most damage?

Need more proof? How about admit Huck's son who hung a dog needs Dad around home more often and should spend less time running for office?

CNN is campaigning against Ron Paul and they are going to try their to make him look bad, even if they have to use false information.

This makes me want to worker harder for him!

Why does CNN discredit itself like this? Haven't the old media figured out that people can now check these things out for themselves? The whole thing is on YouTube. It would make more sense if CNN did not allow critical comments here. I'm puzzled.

Huckabee's and Ron Paul's offices are right next door to each other, so the presence of a few people with Ron Paul signs is hardly surprising. The protesters were not carrying any Ron Paul signs. They associated themselves with Jesus, not a presidential candidate. No one blocked Huckabee from entering. His bus stopped there, a couple of suits exchanged words, and the bus drove away. It's all on the web for all to see.

mitt romney is not government insider he is a corporate insider. his co. bain capitol does business with the carlyle grp. one of the leading war profiteers. he owns home depot with them and is buying clear channel comm. with their help. romney is the corporate side of the government problem. he is the one that the bush and friends have helped make huge profit. he is a greedy mother.

huckabee is a bill clinton style tax and spend democrat. he uses God to get votes but all I see is a sadistic liar. I guess he will be the one looking for the razor blade.its sad
that he is a media creation while Ron Paul has had work hard for every vote.he is getting the nod from the polls which are wrong. when you look at the other characteristics you see who these people are 79 percent think bush has done a good job. thats funny I thought 3 quarters of all Americans did not think so.

its was the media who propagated the idea that Ron Paul was crazy or a nut job and his supporters too. well thats how they used to discredit people in the Soviet Union.
since the big media in this country has both the old Soviet Union and the East German secret police propaganda directors working for them no wonder the media in this country has taken a turn for the worse and has started shaping the news big time.

its sad in America you can say what you want when your with your friends but go to Washington and try to change things thats if they do not arrest you. freedom is almost gone. every one laughs at that Florida college student but he was arrested
for speaking his mind whether you like what he did or not. I dare anyone to do anything.

I was at the Iowa Ron Paul Campaign Headquarters, (which happens to share the same building with Mr. I lost 100 pounds), while the anti-war protesters were being arrested. It is a shame that this article makes it sound like my fellow Ron Paul supporters and I were associated with another group's protest. Dirty, dirty politics once again by the media. It should be known that Huckabee's campaign office is tiny and under-staffed and only has two people working the office, unlike the Ron Paul headquarters which routinely has twenty- fifty supporters working around the clock everyday.

Both sodapop and the paul people needed to use Huckabee's Headquarters because without the use of the media that is following Huckabee these people are nothing. The only way they can get attention is to disrupt other media events. Nobody wants to listen to them or the media would have given them air time.

David said it best:

"This is just plain innacurate. Yes, there were Ron Paul supporters outside the RON PAUL HEADQUARTERS NEXT DOOR but they were not by any means blocking Huckabee's entrance. The anti-war protesters, however, were, and they were the ones that got arrested."

And a thought from my brain:

The media is "kooky" and out of touch with reality. This story is so innacurate the sign in the photo says "Who Would Jesus Bomb" and the CNN's story misquotes "What would Jesus Bomb"

Get the facts straight.

i HAVE READ ALL THE E-MAILS AND FRANKLY IT SADDENS ME THAT WE SPEAK WITH SUCH DISRESPECT FOR THOSE WHO ARE BRAVE ENOUGH TO WANT TO LEAD OUR COUNTRY.
ALSO, THE DISRESPECT FOR JESUS WHO LOVED US SO MUCH HE GAVE HIS LIFE FOR US SO THAT WE WOULD NOT HAVE TO SERVE WHAT WE TRULY DESERVE -SPEND ETERNITY IN HELL. ALL HE ASKS IS THAT WE COME TO HIM AND ASK FOR FORGIVENESS. YOU WANT PEACE, YOU WANT ALL THINGS HE WANTS US TO HAVE...HOWEVER, YOU TOLD HIM YOU DID NOT WANT HIM IN OUR SCHOOLS, COLLEGES, AND GOVERNMENT. SO BEING THE GENTLEMEN THAT HE IS, HE HAS ALLOWED YOU TO DO IT YOUR WAY. NOW, WE HAVE MURDERS IN OUR SCHOOLS, JOBS ARE GOING OVER SEAS, PEOPLE ARE LOOSING THEIR HOMES. GOD WILL NOT BLESS A COUNTRY THAT IS DISOBEDIENT TO HIS WORD. THERE IS NO MAN THAT CAN ACCOMPLISH WHAT GOD CAN DO BY CHANGING THE HEARTS OF MEN AND WOMEN.
ALSO, THE GOVERNMENT OF OUR COUNTRY IS SET UP ON THE PRINCIPLES OF THE BIBLE. IT IS UP TO US TO LINE UP OUR LEADERS TO GOD'S SPECIFICATIONS.
OH, BY THE WAY PRAYER DOES WORK. PRAYER IS TALKING WITH GOD AND HIS SON JESUS. HE SAYS WE HAVE NOT BECAUSE WE DO NOT ASK. ASK JESUS INTO YOUR HEART AND YOU WILL BE COMPLETE AND SEE WHAT LIVING IS TRULY LIKE. (PEACE, LOVE, JOY AND SO MUCH MORE)

GOD, I PRAY GIVE US A LEADER THAT LISTENS TO YOUR VOICE AND LEADS AMERICA WITH INTEGRITY AND HONOR. AMERICA WILL BECOME A NATION THAT WILL LEAD IN SHOWING THE WORLD YOU ARE THE ONE WHO MAKES THE DIFFERENCE. AMEN

I HOPE ALL OF YOU WILL BE AT THE POLES TO VOTE AND ENCOURAGE YOUR FRIENDS. THIS IS A GREAT PRIVILEGE THAT WE DO NOT WANT TO TAKE FOR GRANTED. PEOPLE ARE AT WAR TO HAVE THIS PRIVILEGE.

Ron Paul will get less than 1% in the primaries. He comes off as weak, whinney, and snively. If we don't kill the extremists over there, we will surely be killing them on or own streets. I am a proud US Air Force retiree and voted for Bush 41 and 43. Ron Paul is a democrat in republican clothing and would probably run as a liberal lefty demo but surely knows the conservative base in his Texas district would send him packing. Tina is on the mark. She and I will get the last laugh as you RP supporters waste your time and money on a lost cause. We need a strong leader in the white house like Fred Thompson (if he only had the charisma to pull it off).

There were the three of us who risked arrest to highlight the contrast between Reverend Huckabee’s proclaimed beliefs and his actions. (Hypocrisy should be challenged before an election. In all presidential candidates.) But there were many others of us outside the building. Mr. Paul’s supporters were not involved in our action. But they were there. They have a right to be.
If any of the commentators here are sincerely interested in this non-violent campaign, SODaPOP, to bring a sense of justice to this country’s military policy, please visit the following: http://www.desmoinescatholicworker.org/ and http://vcnv.org/

I'm quoting one of the above comments:

"Pastor Huckabee has smote his enemies wherever he goes. He has the full support of Evangelicals the world over. He was anointed by the Leadership to take on Goliath. He will smite the Goliath Romney on election day. He will smite the wayward nations who refuse to listen to his powerful word. With his mighty arm he will crush the countries who refuse to listen and bring them to their knees. He will be one of the greatest Christian presidents - perhaps as great as Jimmy Carter. Onward soldiers and lead the way to bring Pastor Huckabee a great victory today! Let him smite his enemies with a mighty blow! Oh, how happy everyone will be when President Huckabee puts Christ back into America!"

SERIOUSLY???? And you say Ron Paul supporters are nuts?

To Mike in Fredericksburg, VA…the bombing of Pearl Harbor happened in WWII, not WWI. We had every reason to enter WWII after being attacked, but not WWI. Some historians believe that the attack on Pearl Harbor may have been an indirect result of our intervention in WWI. (Granted, not all believe this, but it is an interesting thought.)

Ron Paul is not an isolationist. Perhaps we should look up terms in the dictionary before we use them as “facts.” Ron Paul believes in and encourages free trade among all nations and open communication. What he is against is pre-emptive wars and intervention in the affairs of other countries. Why should our government be wasting our military assets (the LIVES of our soldiers and our tax payer dollars) to police the world? Why is it our concern when two countries have a dispute? Or some foreign country has a civil war? Answer: It isn’t. No American would appreciate an outside country coming in and telling us how to run our affairs and yet that is exactly what we are doing all over the world, every day.

The pre-emptive war strategy and interventionists policies of the past 40+ years have often resulted in the American tax payer funding both sides of disputes. That’s just pure stupidity. We fund Japan’s defenses, prop up Israel’s borders, give millions to Saudi Arabia, for what? Our country is bankrupt and borrowing billions EVERY SINGLE DAY, and yet we are giving away money left and right to countries that neither need us nor like us. Our bridges are falling down, Social Security is a joke, the education system is a failure, our borders are basically non-existent, the dollar is steadily declining, inflation is on the raise, etc, etc, etc, ad nauseum….and yet both of our political parties are more concerned with telling the rest of the world how to live (or gaining power in Washington).

George W Bush says he wants to spread democracy and freedom to the people of Iraq, while he strips away American liberties and freedoms left and right. And he has done it with the help of the Democrats and Republicans alike.

National security is dependent on secure borders. ANY politican who claims to be tough on “terrorism”, but who supports amnesty of any kind, is a liar. (Amnesty by another name is still amnesty). Protect our borders, enforce the laws we have in place, spend OUR money at HOME. I love my country and I hate what I see it is becoming. That's why I am voting for Ron Paul. It’s not isolationism but it is common sense.
