Don't mind the Obama haters now, they are angry that Superman came to the Obama camp. It just hurts them that we get the greatest of endorsement...We are sorry, its not our fault. It just happens that we [yes we... Obama and us] make sense to smart and successful people which means we are great for the job since our ideas make the most sense.

Yes and that's a big YES. We want Spiderman, Batman, Shrek, The terminator, the last man on earth[ie Will Smith]. We want Micky Mouse, Tom and Jerry..

Why, they are all Americans and even if their vote is just one each, we welcome them.

So you Hillary folks, go gather around your old lady and start planning on how you'll comfort her because it's about to get ugly and stressful because the numbers that will start pulling in this week won't be fake poll numbers, they will be real results.

We are coming...

Obama is the one! It's Camelot again! In my life time a chance for me to be engaged in the political process with a president that I can trust.

Edwards is a good man, but his anger decries his character. He is a sweetheart, I know he is honest and articulate, and right. He would make a great VP. I think Obama's presidency would have a real involved VP. Everything would be open to the public, on line.

And Clinton, what experience...oh ya...she was married to a Governor and a President , she failed to get power behind her health care attempt. Her husband had brought disgrace to the office, she said nothing. Not even that she was human and embarrassed. We waited for a true word from her, knowing that she wanted us to trust her. But don't forget she is the one that brought the whole White Water Case up...it was her money dealings., and what happened to the White house lawyer that "committed suicide?" ....and what about having an expres. in the White house doing what? Entertaining the spouses of the heads of state...oh gesh...The Writer's strike will be over...they couldn't even write how funny these situations could be. Something for Sat. Night Live, perhaps....what a joke.

Now...if Obama and family are there....dignity, calm grace and reason and judgement with a good healthly sense of humor...and we can breathe again knowing that our President is in charge not some dictator that bush has become...torture, really? Don't get me going...

How exciting... another endorsement by an actor; Id' certainly better review my plans now that Superman has endorsed a candidate. Give me a break; endorsements are the crutches of those who are incapable of thinking, and if Brandon Routh is after the 12 year-old comic book reading demographic, I've got to tell you something thatHollywood apparently neglected to remind you of... they can't vote for another one to two administrations.

Six months ago the name Obama was unknown to most Americans. Hopefully it will eventually return to the unknown. The whole Demo slate is enough to make me visit the vomitorium; I wish that were not so because I detest Bush.

As the least of several evils I hope Edwards is the guy; at least he knows what he's doing.

More ignorant people that don't know what they are talking about. Anything to bring down the monument of change because its just too scary. First off anyone can beat the Republicans. You could put Brittney Spears in there and she'd get more attention that these so called "candidates" the Dems are running against now. It's not that your worried about who is going to face the Repbulicans. It's that people are scared of what Obama stands for, and that scares A LOT of people especially the people with alot of money who are running this country into the ground for their own short term gains and profits. I just hope that there are enough people who are tired of the way things are and who long for a country with ethics closer to what our founding fathers intended.

Obamas camp welcomes all, young and old. Young and fresh minds is what is needed in the white house.

When the pack of lions go on a hunt, The seniors of the group are very greatful to the young that do the hunting yet share with the old or chronologically gifted.

Young needs old ,and old needs young.

Obama can win and he can utilize both young, and senior advisors.

Obama in 08 and please for those that associate Obama with terrorist groups,

STOP DRINKING THE SWAMP WATER IN THE BACK WOODS!!!!!!

Bottled water, clear your mind and mouth.

THIS IS REALLY SILLY, SPENDING SO MUCH TIME DEDICATED TO WHO IS ENDORSING A CANDIDATE AND PRIMARILY REFERRING TO A ROLE THIS ACTOR PLAYED IN A MOVIE........HE IS AN ACTOR.......WHO IS ENDORSING A DARN GOOD CANDIDATE........
ANY NEWS ON BRANDON WOULD BE BETTER.............
BECAUSE HE PLAYED SUPERMAN DOES NOT MEAN THAT IS REALLY A VIABLE REASON TO BELIEVE OR DISBELIEVE HIM.
HOW ABOUT THIS FOR A CHANGE......LET'S REVIEW OBAMA'S POLITICAL RECORD, HIS VOTING RECORD WHILE IN OFFICE........AND THING THAT REALLY MATTER POLITICALLY..........
HE DID NOT SUPPORT THE WAR IN IRAQ..........
HE SPEAKS ABOUT THE TRUE NEED TO REPAIR AMERICA, MY PRIDE IN MY COUNTRY IS SHOT ALL DOWN THE TUBES AT THIS POINT.........
CAN I BELIEVE IN ANY OF THE OTHER CANDIDATES......
AND AS FAR AS THE EXPERIENCE THING,, I DO BELIEVE THAT HIS EXPERIENCE IS ADEQUATE AND ANY COMPETENT PRESIDENT WILL HAVE A STAFF THAT MAKES UP FOR ANYTHING HE IS MISSING.REMEMBER APRESIDENT MAKES THE FINAL DECISION, BUT ANY PRESIDENT WORTH HIS SALY WILL HAVE COMPETENT PEOPLE AROUND HIM AND NOT JUST YES MEN
BENT ON TAKING OUR COUNTRY TO RUIN LIKE OTHER WHO SHALL REMAIN NAMELESS

All those things you write about Gulliani you should investigate where he got the money and power to do them... MOST of that including his crime bill came from the Democrats like Joe Biden and the bills that were passed by them..... I wish more people would put aside the ideology and look strictly at facts.... So what, Obama doesn't have "experience" playing "god" like so many others up there... When you get right down to it, look at what those that did have power accomplish.... NOTHING for the middle income families that are now being broke by more taxes and such. I've never understood how a party that doesn't stand YOU makes you vote against your own self interest..... CRAZY.....

I'm an independent... I wish more people would leave the parties and make them ALL (parties) work for it. Forget listening to "FOX" and "CNN" and watch CSPAN. Then you'll understand what's really going on.... Watch it for yourself - stop letting someone else TELL you what you should think... It's crazy, when you watch CSPAN and then watch one of the channels mentioned - you will see just how much "SPIN" is actually being put on the issue by BOTH sides.....

Do yourself a favor, get it FIRST HAND.... become informed.....

What I like about Obama, is he has fresh ideas, and appears to be innovative in his political thinking, i am so tired of this old boys network that has ground our country in this quagmire. Everything is in flux with the current administration. Even the fresh Dems in the congress and senate are still doing the same ol dance as always. As afar as experience in office, don't give me our former NY mayor as an example of experience... sounds too much like the same ol song...
So pls actually listen to the candidates and make your decision based on your belief in their ability and willingness to fight for the Citizens of the US, i say this bacause so many times the Republicans have said one thing and done exactly the opposite...even when they had no opposition in the house or Senate..to slow them down,,, think about it....
No the Dems are a slightly different matter, overall i feel the are no where as United as the Republicans have been and this makes them a weaker party as a whole......they spend too much time dodging being pigeon holed instead of standign up for their positions. I believe Obama will stand up even in the face of adversity and stay true to his service for the American People (all American people)..........

Obama NOT BLACK
(so what if he was) let's disect all candidates ethnic background then, oh sorry I mean color, why just HIM. I want to know why he is being called black and why the others aren't called tan or beige or whatever shade they may be at the time, (because Summertime some people head for the beach and tropics to get DARK, suntan lotions made billionares). He may have less mixture of ethnic backgrounds than you, check you family tree....oh yea, I forgot it doesn't matter if it doesn't show in the skin tone. So your secret may be safe...this is such a waste of time, I don't know why I am even posting....

Obama SAME GENDER
as all other candidates except one. He's a man, a person, a human, a father, etc, a non hater, non racist, oh don't forget he's highly intelligent unlike most who are posting here, and GUESS WHAT those posters/bloggers are probably your co workers who grin in your face all week and then post their simple minded coments/hatred here under another name, not all but I do not have time to single out the real dense/dangerous ones.

Obama VOTE FOR HIM or don't, your choice, freedom of choice, don't hate, get your facts straight before you blog. Don't take what others say and think it is fact and post it here. Know what you are talking about, the facts, just state the facts. Be kind, Unite, don't accuse canidates of not being able to unite when you won't even unite...no details, you should know what the word unite means...Happy New Year

I don't get the whole Obama thing. Another relatively inexperienced politician trying to get elected to an office he's not capable for w sales pitchs of a "New Day" , "Unifying the Country" etc. etc. Sound familiar?? We hear these same lame sales pitch every election from 1 Tell- You- What - You Want-To Hear candidate after another!
Once the Republican machine gets in gear, It'll tear Obama to shreds! Let's face it.. He's an unrealistic, feel-good but very weak candidate.
IF you Don't want more of the same & another Republican in the White House,
IF you truly want to win the coming Presidential election, Then you have to nominate someone who can & will win... & That's Clinton w Edwards as VP.
Anything else will fail.
After all... Look what they did to Kerry! After all...Look what they did to America! They actually got a President reelected AFTER he Lied & manipulated us into a War & then failed to win that War! Bin Laden Loved it!
Use your brains & don't set us up for another failure.
CLINTON w EDWARDS ..... To Win !!!
BTW, Happy New Year!

As far as Obama getting the "youth vote" - you can forget about that: they turn around and go home when they see they have to wait in line with "old people". Obama has spent way too much time lying about his Democratic rivals - to hear Obama tell it, they are all just closest Republicans. The only thing close to "civil rights" that Obama was involved in was a scheme to get federal grants to rehab houses - and that has led to criminal charges for Antoin Rezko - the man who sold Obama a parcel of land abutting his $1.6 million mansion. Obama is mostly a man who has spent way too much time this early in his life writing books that extol - Obama! A legend in his own mind.

PREDICTION -- HILLARY WILL GET THE NOMINATION - AND WHY.....

* NOT BECAUSE OF EXPERIENCE - I dont think being fist lady counts, if it does then maybe Chelsea should be vice prsident

* NOT BECAUSE SHE IS RIGHT ON THE GRAVE ISSUES -- SHE IS DEAD WRONG - her vote on Iraq war / her vote on the RESOLUTION Iranian Guard being terrorist - which is an obvious Zionist resolution.

*NOT BECAUSE SHE IS THE MOST QUALIFIED -- SHE IS NOT -- JOE BIDEN HAS MORE QUALIFICATIONS - SO THAT ARGUEMENT IS A JOKE...

FACTS ARE !!! SHE WILL WIN BECAUUUUSE THE SYTEM IS CORRUPT AND SHE IS BEING BACKED IN HER CAMPAIGN BY THE MAJOR HEALTH INSURANCE INDUSTRY AND THE MILITARY INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX -- THESE ARE FACTS THAT ARE NOT REPORTED IN THE MEDIA -- GEE, I WONDER WHY....

I will state this AGAIN - do self-inflated celebrities really believe that just because they say so, I'm gonna vote for their chosen politician? COME ON - get off your own pedestal. I'm Democrat but I'll vote Republican before voting for Obama. How's that for all your celebrity endorsements (including what's her name, oh, yeah-Oprah)!

MY GOD, why are American's so STUPID. After reading these comments, I'm starting to think the government need to invest more money in these schools because the amount of dumb comments I've read inregards to Obama is a cry for help.

How can you mud-sling a guy you know nothing about. A guy who drove a beat up rust bucket after college. A guy who took a 27,000.00 a year job after Harvard to work in the Ghettos of Chicago. This man has no family ties in politics and has worked hard to get where he is and the best you idiots can do is throw mudd at someone trying to achieve the American Dream.

Well that tells me a lot about the people of the country I love. There are so many faults of the other candidates and the reason most of you don' like OBAMA is because there isn't any dirt on em', face it, its the truth. You will always tear down something you don't understand or just plain ignorant to.

Its time for America and its people to just.......WAKE UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Is it just me, or do the Hillary supporters sound like the right-wing nut jobs on Sean Hannity's message board?

I'm a Dem, through and through, and I'll be the one of the loudest supporters of the Democratic nominee, no matter who it is. But these right-wing tactics of Hillary's supporters really turn me off.

I just prefer a new direction with either Obama or Edwards. I still think Hillary is great, just not as great. Plus, Obama and Edwards have a better chance in the general. Let's face it, 49.999% of the country absolutely hates Hillary. That's a tough obstacle to overcome.

I know I know what Clinton can do!!! She can have a concert with Madonna and Striesand. And, maybe Rob Reiner can MC.? Obama's campaign is something like out of a comicstrip. Amazing that some people honestly support this man. The best way to describe him "empty suit" That's all he is a guy wearing an empty suit. I am backing someone I know can turn this country back around. Ms. Hillary Clinton. I love to listen to this woman speak. The is the pillar of strength.

Superman cannot caucus but apparantly misinformed and fearful people can. Why is it that people love to complain about the current state of affairs that our country is in but yet when it comes to stand up and put your vote where your mouth is with a real chance to make a difference and make a change they take a step backward rather than forwards? Hillary is old government. The old way. Is she competent? Yes, athough her inability to stick to what she says draws at least my concern. But the real question is will she make real change and that answer is no. Her ideas and views of politics are strong in how we got things done before they will not stand up to where the world is going especially in the growing competitive global arena and I mean that on all fronts, education, economy, military, health, jobs, etc.

Obama is not a bunch of lip service. He has real agendas for change. Is he lacking in experience? Perhaps but that depends upon what "experiences" your talking about and what has the previous politicians "experiences" done for our country? How have they moved it forward?

If the best you have is to talk about how having the name "Hussein" makes him a muslim or that hes black and only interested in minorities, or that he's too nice or inexperienced, I would ask you why it is you have nothing but excuses when it comes to choosing a candidate with a real chance at making change that is drastically needed in this country? Is that the best you got for trying to mask your own fears?

It's time for positive change. The world is growing and we need to grow with it as a leader to set the precedent for a country our children and our childrens children can be proud to live within and feel safe with a real opportunity to succeed.

Obama continues to be a threat to national maturity.

Fresh man rookie, Obama with his big ego, and little experence continues his up hill struggle for the democratic nomination.

We must remember that we need a canadate who will beat the republicans.
Edwards, or Clinton have much better odds.

What a mockery this is. I agree with X from Madison there are so----------- many stupid people in this country. I don't agree with the people that are knocking Obama's name or religion (which ever it may be?) I personally think Obama is a joke and a bigger one for thinking he has a chance. The person to follow Bush into the whitehouse will have to be one of strength. That would be Clinton. Whether some like it or not she brings more than her to the whitehouse. She brings one of the most popular presidents in our history back in with her. God bring us back the country we had before Bush destroyed it.

I am amazed at how dumb some of these comments are! We are really concerned about the Name of the president, and the fact that he is 50% Black and 50% white. Who cares! I hope this is not the same America of many many years ago, filled with ignorance and hatred. I would hope we have grown and can show the world that we can genuinely look at the candidates as equal human beings and just vote in the way that we feel is best. Not based on utter nonsense. All of the candidates have different valid points and good records in some things and not in others. Pick the candidate that stands for the things you believe in...Period!

Wow!! he played Superman in the worst and least successful Superman film ever. His public endorsement shows what an ego maniac this guy is. A never was celeb trying to push his views on others to get some publicity for himself. Oprah couldn't help Obama, but the guy who only teen age girls and maybe gay guys (who mostly support Clinton) is gonna make a huge impact. Get over yourself!!!

Funny how the press all but gave Hillary a double mascetomy for using a southern accent in one of her stump speeches but didn't pass comment when Barack used his "in da hood" voice when he said "a black man named Obama running for president needs hope..."
Git me to thinking how the press is terrified of taking this clown head on. The last think this country needs is a tepid press afraid to confront a president in fear they are not PC compliant. The press is our last bastion to the truth and I don't want that compromised because they frightened their criticism would sound racist. Barack is treated with kid gloves and its shameful. I once had a political science professor who served in RFK's atty gen office. He said that JFK would march his prostitutes through the oval office
in full view of the press corp and the press said nothing.
They were in awe of him. I'm afraid this rock star image Barack has will make him the teflon prez. And thats a check and balance we can't risk.

I am so glad that Obama can have so many rich people to stand by his side. Wonderful, don't you think, but where are the poor people of this nation? Where is the little boy standing on the street corner holding out his hand for a few dollars to take to mom for bread? the Man who slleps on the street under the box he found in the alleyway? Yeah, We need someone just like him. He believes in money, standing goer his "right" not to stand for anything that America stands for. He stands for saying no to the flag, to God, to anything that you just don't believe in.

Well, personally, I don't think anybody really knows what they believe in any more. They've been told every thing is alright as long as that's what they want and it feels good.

Our country is messed up!

In a Country as blessed as the United States, its very pitiful that in this day an age, there are still quite a lot of stupid people.
- And get this, Americans are probably the stupidest lot in any Western Country.
- If at this stage, you find it prudent to resort to the same ol negative, mud-slinging attacks, you're pathetic and you need to go to school
- His middle name is Hussein; so what? Does the constitution not prevent a religious test for our elected officials?
- ROME fell because its people lost their moral compass and also because the people were so stupid, misinformed and not smart enough to know which is which.
This country will fall if we do not insist on education - especially for all this morons who suddenly think Barack is somehow connected to Osama because their last names rhyme. My God, people are stupid in this country.

Washington does change people. Four years ago, Obama wouldnt engage in negative campaign but not now, after four years in washington.Obama is a smart and good man but I respect Hillary more for her scars (from the republican attack machines including Karl Rove) and still standing and standing tall after over 16years. She is very smart, very experienced, very resourceful and very tough.Better still, Clinton-Obama democratic ticket is landslide election winner and what the nation needs.

Obama has interesting and thoughtful things to say. If there is hope for this country to ever be unified, at least as far as the moderate, normal, inquisitive and mildy educated people are concerned, Obama may be the only candidate that can pull it off. The problem may be that the harm inflicted on this country over the last 8 years has gone too deep to ever be healed. There may no longer be room in the current debate for words of peace, tolerance, or unity. Look at the words in these comments - what do you think? Are the views expressed the thoughtful views of concerned citizens, or simply more of the same divisive rhetoric churned out by candidates, dwelled upon by the media, and spit out by an angry and frightened public?

What a joke. Obama is making this race is joke. First Oprah and now an actor. And, from I hear not a very good one. I don't understand Obama nor for that matter care to. It concerns me that there are still a few people out there that think he has a chance. I wish this was all over so he can lose and go home. And, from what we hear never ever run again per Michelle. Good riddance.

How many of you supporting Obama notice that media has already abandoning Obama and rallying around Edwards all of a sudden? Democrats should careful enough to see through this right-wing conspiracy. All they want is to stop Clinton, and it doesn't matter to them whether that person is Obama or Edwards.
Also Bloomberg is considering running as a third party candidate if the democrat nominee is either obama or edwrads and republican is Huckabee. This shows what kind of a weak status they give to anyone other than Clinton.
Republicans hate Clinton, at the same time they fear her. They know that they can't mess with the Clintons. We democarts should understand this challenge and work to send the strongest candidate Clinton to the front.

Kathy Farmer, I agree with you 100%. This country was found under the Christians principles no matter how they try to twist it. We need to speak out as our rights are being violated. Do you think a Christian will get to become a president in S. Arabia, Iraq, Iran or Indonesia? The answer is no because the countries were found under Islamic fundamentals. I am a black person who is angry at the extent that the Democrats have violated our existence. Democrats are dividers and poverty exploiters. It is necessary we remain poor so they gain votes, the same way it is necessary that we have discrimination so Al And Jesse can demand our $. DEMOCRATS exposed. If they win the Latinas are going to get more power and they could care less for African Americans. WAKE UP America, quit singing we hate Bush all day long and see what he has one to protect you. i disagree with him 50% of the time nut the times that I agree with him it is justified. This is one Nation under God and not One Nation under Socialism.
*No to Welfare
*No to big Government
*No to abortion......40,000,000 children are killed every year.
*Radical Islam will not rest, until all Christians are executed
*No more Pork Barrel spending
*School Vouchers should be in placed.
*See the promises Hugo Chaves made, they are the same Dems are making.
*LAST HAPPY NEW YEAR and NO to DEMOCRATS and NO TO RON PAUL

Kathy Farmer, I agree with you 100%. This country was found under the Christians principles no matter how they try to twist it. We need to speak out as our rights are being violated. Do you think a Christian will get to become a president in S. Arabia, Iraq, Iran or Indonesia? The answer is no because the countries were found under Islamic fundamentals. I am a black person who is angry at the extent that the Democrats have violated our existence.
HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU ALL. MAY GOD BLESS ALL OF YOU!

Just to say America needs a new fresh stat with Barack who represente at this
time the man for the change we all need. With good judgement, new idea,a
little experience and plus his staff advisers, I strongly believe that Obama will
be able to administre very well. America needs someone like Obama 1/2 White
(mother) and 1/2 Black (father).Dont forget that without looking for unity in the
Nation nobody will be able to do something. I respect all candidats whom are
doing the best possible at this campain. They are all providing the good things.
However, in my opinion I think Obama is the man for now. I hope that the rest of
you will take a moment to think as well as Obama is the right candidat for 2008.
Superman has good judgement to see what it is possible for the future of America. Good luck Mr Obama. Happy New Year to you, to your family ,to your staff
to America and the rest of the World.

Both Edwards and Clinton backed the Bush regime and yes, the Bush failed policies are coming back full circle to haunt us now. terrorism is very real. Clinton and Edwards chose the wrong guy, the wrong policy, the wrong strategy.

Obama has said Pakistan/Afghanistan were the real dangers and recent events have proved he is far more intuitive to world events than Clinton or Edwards.

Obama is now. Edwards and Clinton are old school. Go Obama.

i love how people articulate their comments here when degrading Obama. Whats even more funny is how conservative republicans argue about Obama's ability to take the helm of the country however these jokers elected Bush to office. The man can even speak proper english yet you elected the man to the most powerful position in the world. Good Game to you all. At least Obama isnt infected with the disease of greed and swayed by special interest groups. Get your heads out of the sand and vote for change. Whether is be Ron Paul or Obama, time for a change.
