I just wanted to say the Writer Guild is much worse than most union because its members are extremely wealthy, where one may still find some merit of supporting certain labor union. Then I go so emotional and started writing to general reader and forgot I put your name in the first of my blog/essay.

Please re-read my posting and you will see I concur with you. It appears you completely read my post the opposite of what was intended and written. I stated the unions are driving costs way up because of the greed. I believe this was your opinion as well.

Ferguson introduced him as the author of a diet book then focused on his defecation habits in the first segment (Huckabee did a nice post Larry Craig fetal position demonstration of political pooping etiquette). Overall, Huckabee used some folksy charm but added little substance. He did say that one of the first acts he would do if elected president would be to grant Craig Ferguson (Scottish) U.S. Citizenship.

He did invoke his Christian lifestyle once again (Romney's "perceived" weakness) . The Republican party is on the verge of some major internal conflict if this guy wins the ticket. The surge of Christinanity that he has been riding into the spotlight will not be enough to give him an address on Pennsylvania Ave.

You do understand the American Guild for Writers is a union for very wealthy people, right? I do not know about you, but these hollywood writers earn much more than I do, much more, and I am a fairly educated man with a PhD working at a Forture 100 company. Hollywood writers on average earn $200 000 a year. This is the average. Yes, they earn more than what we consider as top professions: doctors, lawyers, engineers. Now, these people form an union and decided to cry poor. Maybe you want to believe them deserve to have more money, but I don't. I should not be this blunt, but US median household (not individual) income is under $50 000. Each of these "poor" writer has more than 4 times the income than the median HOUSEHOLD income. I am shocked. I am really shocked that many of you here attack Huckabee crossing that picket line. I am not his fan, and I am definitely not supporting him, so feel free to attack him, but attack him fairly. Facts are facts. I am glad that Huckabee crossed that picket line. I am glad anyone would cross that line. Clinton, Biden, McCain, ... anyone.

I have no problem believing that Adam and Eve were real people because there are hearths which were used for baking bricks in Louisiana carbon dated to just shy of 4000 BC but did Huckabee actually deny aid to victims while Govornor for flood and tornados because the were defined as "Acts of God"

Huckabee does NOT have a degree in theology. If he does, then you probably gave it to him because no one else has.

I am glad that Huckabee crossed that stupid picket lines, even through he was unawared of his situation. He should cross it intentionally and cross it proudly. I hate unnecessary unions, especially wealthy union. It is one thing to support union of poorer people, like factory workers. It is another thing to support a union of very wealthy people. Hollywood writers on average earn six figures a year. Yes, they earn more than 100K a year. Average PhD employee earn about 60K a year. I am disguised at people who earn over 6 figures a year to try to get more money by forming union. Maybe you want to see hollywood screenwriters to have 200K a year, but I don't. Maybe you like to see business CEO to form an unions too, right? So CEOs all over the country can ask for more money. What about union for senators? Senators should allowed to boycott american citizens too for salary increase. Yes.

Without listing and ratification to the federal constitution contraband and other State prohibited items remain the States problem.

The war on Drugs and terrorism itself is not the Presidents problem, and immigration currently isn't either; those are powers vested in the State not the Union.

It’s hard work building a right-wing coalition. Mike Huckabee has been
hammering away at the religious-right base, making explicit appeals based on
his faith and reminding them that he is one of them. He’s signed Grover
Norquist’s tax pledge and embraced the “FairTax” to shore up support from
the economic right. He’s even gotten an endorsement from the co-founder of
the anti-immigrant vigilante group the Minutemen. But all that may not be
enough when you have Pat Robertson come around telling your people to vote
for Giuliani because terrorism is supposed to be the most important issue.

It seems there’s one more faction Huckabee needs to pander to: the
foreign-policy hardliners. That would explain Huckabee’s plans for this
weekend: The former pastor will spend the Sunday before Christmas speaking
at two services at the Cornerstone megachurch in San Antonio, home of
Armageddon advocate John Hagee, who believes “that the United States must
join Israel in a pre-emptive military strike against Iran to fulfill God's
plan for both Israel and the West.”

BTW, for those who actually care about a non-biased reporting of the election rat race, there was a second poll released just today that shows Obama has a lead outside the margin of error. This one is Zogby, who is considered far more accurate than Gallup.

Of course, the Des Moines Register poll, which CNN still refuses to report, is considered the most accurate predictor, and that has Obama in a very large lead.
