Love the anti Romney comments. People get so heated up they start to make up things they heard about someone as if they were there and know it first hand. Just like the Mormon hater comments. They hear it from their Ministers and so it must be true. You Iowan church goers must admit, you have heard it allot the past several weeks from the pulpit and around the church to get out to the caucuses and vote because if an EVIL MORMON got the nod from Iowa it would be terrible. I think Romney will stand the test just fine from those who really know him first hand. Huckabee is probably a good man too I really don't know him, but I also know he doesn't have to say much bad about Romney on TV because there are enough bad things said about him constantly at church meetings! You church goers think about that Isn’t that true?

'Kick teeth in', hey I've heard that before!

However, was Ed Rollins's comment taken out of context?

Well that lends credence to the Huckabee "Southern Baptist Minister" (as labeled by rival Mitt Romney) as a white-preferences-coddled, cultish-clanish hate-herd-bigot.

That highly suspect "Southern Baptist Minister" characterization instead of "former Arkansas Governor", is admittedly, highly provocative!

All the Romney bashing here is pathetic. It is called a come-back people, better than challenging Rollins to a fight in the street. No wonder this country is in a rapid decline, looking at what you people base your decisions on we are screwed. This next president will take the fall for the collapse of the US, ounce the bottom falls out on the dollar we are done. I personally fear for all of us, is this the best we can do as a country for candidates? All these people count on is our short term memories. They are all a joke. Hillary to even be close is an insult to all of you, especially New Yorkers. I figured after 911 she was done, I spent three weeks there, all I heard was how hated she was. She only went to firefighters funerals that had TV coverage. She is a hagg, they all are. Spend it on guns and ammo people, we are going to need it........

Romney could not even beat Senator Kennedy in 1994. He has a lot of character issues other just the dishonesty with hunting, MLK marches, NRA endorsements, and being tough on illegal immagrants (except the ones working in his backyard - TWICE...kept the company after the first incident in his get tough stance.

GET THE FACTS HERE - IF HE WINS AND THEN THE DEMOCRATS WILL SPANK THE REPUBLICANS FORCEFULLY IN THE GENERAL.

As a woman business owner, I say Mitt is the Man! He knows how to create jobs, keep jobs, and foster successful business. We need to keep our economy strong (to fund all those socialistic projects from politicians).

He has the candor and demeanor to be president. He has been attacked relentlessly and no matter what he says back, someone finds more fault with him. Dash in a prior post said it correctly....it is just a sophisticated way of saying they do not like his religion.

Mitt has honor and is trustworthy. He has lived a life that reflects that. He's not perfect, but the core is good.

His religion did not get in the way of him getting a law degree. It did not get in the way of his creating successful business ventures. It did not hinder his governorship. It did not get in the way of his never ending list of service projects to make the world a better place. It will not ruin is presidency if he is elected. He puts his pants on the same way you do, one leg at time.

Remove the bias' and the labels and you will find a very qualified candidate for president.

The hair joke was absolutely hilarious. He even has a sense of humor!

Ralph Guardino, i'm with you 'Bro. I have voted Republican in the past....NEVER AGAIN!!! These Republican wanna-be's like Guilianni, and Romney were A mayor and Governor of predominantly Democratic states, were moderate to liberal Republicans, now they are cow-towing to the Christian conservatives that have ruined the republican party and isolated millions of Americans! Romney is the biggest waffler i've seen in years, and the media hasn't called him out yet. People talk of experience to be President? If that were the ONLY qualifying feature on a wanna be presidents resume,, we would have never had a JFK, Carter, Reagan, And the current loser we have now DUBYA, and Al Gore would have been our 43rd President! Experience in Washington sometimes can be a hamstring! Republicans have swung soooo far right that i have nothing in common with them anymore, nor do they represent my interest as an American, and human being let'sget back to what really matters, The war in Iraq, Global warning, Healthcare, the economy etc......vote your conscience on who will best represent you and your country, someone who won't lead us into needless wars, who cares about global warming, who wants people insured with health insurance.....THAT'S WHAT REALLY MATTERS, not some vain bored millionaire has nothing to say other than "just don't touch my hair"....America, let's wake up! It's now or never, we can't afford another DUBYA in the White House!......The stakes are high.....let's do our part to make things right again!

I'm hoping that Mr. Huckabee is a very decent, generous and sincere man (despite stories to the contrary in Arkansas). That gives him excellent credentials to be a counselor at a Baptist summer camp or as a social services representative. However, his performance as Govenor demonstrates that he is: 1) not fiscally conservative; 2) socially frightening (releasing any hardened criminal that cries 'Jesus' after being thrown in the slammer; and 3) weak on security (providing shelter and supporting amnesty for illegals for whom he believes that simply being "good Christians" is enough to open the border floodgate).

<b>The last thing we need is another Jimmah Cahtah.

I think it's awesome that everyone attacks the characters of these men by the five minutes of headlines they've seen on the news, and of course the five minutes of coverage the media chose to allow us to see. Read what they represent, and then vote. Anyone who thinks they can judge the character of a man based on the media needs to also stop believing in Santa and the Tooth Fairy.

It is so obvious that CNN, Fox and the Associated Press deliberately neglect talking about the Ron Paul campaign. Interesting though how many of their reporters who actually interview Paul come across as liking what he has to say.
The other candidates have already lost their focus on the issues. Things in the Deomocratic camp are much more focused. I doubt you will ever see any mud slinging or silly jokes getting the Paul campaign any attention. The man is focused and wants to save our country. The Rebuplicans need to stand behind Paul if they want any chance of winning this November.
Lets see how much mention he gets tonight when the caucuses close.
If you want to know what the media is not telling you about Ron Paul...visit his website and research his postion on the issues!

Another example of how the Huckster is a "raging anti-mormon". His personal beliefs can't help but bleed out into the campaign. As a life long republican and a mormon I will vote for the devil's sister, Hillary, before I will vote for a bigot like Huckabee.

Why would anyone even consider voting for a candidate like Romney who was born with a silver spoon in his mouth and has no idea of what it is like to struggle just to hold one's own. I do not want a slick politician, I want one who can lead the US back to a nation of prominence.

Hey Walt in Texas- I know many mormons who are off serving our country in the military...mormons are every bit as patriotic, courageous a people as I know....and I know many of them. Mitt Romney may or may not be my first choice as a presidential candidate, but I will certainly defend his religion. Being a mormon is not an abberation or a weakness.

I choose to pick apart a candidates record or viewpoints on key issues than to pick apart their religion. I am sure our founding fathers would have done the same.

Oh brother, they can't come up with anything of substance so Corrupt News Network puts this up as news?

I cannot believe the American Public is dumb enough to buy anything from these two hucksters, and the Press is guilty of pandering to the parties. GUILTY I SAY!!!!

Who at CNN determines what they put in the teleprompters because, as much as I disdain Wolff Blitzer and think he's nothing more than a shill, he can't possibly determine that repeating the same inane stories over and over is new or fun to read. Nor is it professional to read AP wire as if it was fact, without ever checking the facts. Strap on the feed bag America...strap it on!!!

Did Wolff Blitzere ever do anything else in his life besides read a teleprompter? I swear, they have a real ignorant group of people reading the news to us these days.

He likes to duke it out with Huckabee, but he doesn't like talking about the important issues like our monetary policy and the deficit. Ron Paul is the only person telling the truth and everyone else is trying to be a rockstar. We need results, our currency is on the line here. Please wake up!

Only one word comes to mind when I think about Huckabee and that is Hypocrite. His holier than thou attitude is disgusting. Interesting to note that all of Romney's comparison ads target Huckabee's record in politics while Huckabee openly attacks Romney's character calling him dishonest and desperate. My personal favorite blunder of Huckabee was when he said he'd kill the voters that didn't vote for him just like he shot down the pheasants. One thing is for sure, he sure adds some quality comedic value to this race, but he doesn't have a chance at actually winning the presidency. A vote for Huckabee is a vote wasted.

I am not a conservative either, I just cannot stand the religious bigotry and lies of Huckabee. I still remember the Willie Horton ad I have never said Republican ads are all fact based. The Lee Atwater and Karl Rove ads were unbelieveable. I don't think Romney ads were attack ads. I am firmly against the war I just don't want a hypocrite like Huckabee to go around trying to convince people he is this nice guy when he is an unethical bigot.

Ted Gilbert, Az. -

You should know that I am a lifelong Democrat and will be until the day I die. I am not for Huckabee anymore than Romney. I despise all of them. I just happen to think that Romney's hands are not clean here either. What you and he happen to think are issue based attacks, are nothing more than an attempt to derail Huckabee, who has come on really strong of late. I have no more desire to see a Baptist preacher who does not believe in evolution ascend to the presidency than I have to see a phony like Romney. How often has this guy changed his positions on key issues? Talk about flip-flopping! Indeed. Romney has no credibility with me at all. He is just another conservative, wealthy Republican who couldn't care less about the middle class working people who are the heart and soul of this country.

It's funny, but when the Republicans attack, it's always fact based, but when it's their opponents or especially the Democrats, then it becomes propaganda or lies or worse. I despise Romney's pandering to the conservatives with his support for the war in Iraq. Why is it that it's always the ones who never fought in wars who end up supporting them so enthusiastically? Maybe if Romney had experienced what my father did as an American soldier who helped liberate the concentration camps of Dachau and Bergen Belsen, he might not go around making his jingoistic comments. My father saw up close and personal what war really is - hell. That one reason he is so against this war in Iraq. If you are going to send our soldiers to fight a war, be sure it's the right war against the right enemy.

Ted Gilbert, Az. –

My father saw up close and personal what war really is – hell. That one reason he is so against this war in Iraq.
B - Philly

I will provide all the facts you desire - where would you like to start?
How about with Mitt's "business" experience?
It is a fact that his "success" at Bain was guaranteed by the founder.
He was assured that if he were to manage to screw up a sure thing, his salary (and all raises) would be put in place as well as some "cover" as to why he failed so as to save Mitt's reputation.
How about Mitt's Mormon "mission" - to France? Give me a break! Of all the places that could use some help, I doubt that 60s Paris was once of them....
How about his tremendous impact on the Olympics? Now that WAS an accomplishment, wasn't it? I mean, worthy of some type of national medal of honor, wouldn't you say? I mean, the 2002 Olympics surely made a dramatic impact on this country and especially those middle class families that could afford to attend...oh, wait - you mean to say there weren't a lot of people who could afford to attend the 2002 Winter Olympics? They didn't bring the snow-loving countries of the world together for a giant polar bear-hug?
Awwww.....I mean, I am sorry - I can't help but not believe just about any patsy with a pulse could have delegated as masterfully the duties of the chair. Mitt himself admits no credit for the success of an incident-free event - all the security details were thrown to those agencies responsible.
Shall we examine those offshore companies he helped found, and continues to draw wealth from?
How about his "hard-working" youth? You think he ever pushed a lawnmower as a teenager, you're obviously not familiar with that most affluent neighborhood he grew up in; though I do suspect he probably watched some "contractors" do so.
Wake up, and smell the espresso, gosh darnit!

The infected part of Romneys' heart has poured so much pus in our atmosphere that he has become truly nauseating. I hope his cancerous venom is cut out and that true healing and the commonwealth of the people of the United States is restored speedily.

Romney is clearly the most qualified presidential candidate this decade.

Some say he has changed some of his postions, flip-flopped, but that is media or competitor spin!

Just because he didn't fight to overturn an existing abortion law does not make him pro-choice. Romney has always been dead set against abortion. Don't get confused by the labels.

Can you support the NRA and gun reform? Sure, why not, I own hunting rifles but still would like handguns off our streets!

Lowering taxes gets caught up in statistical interpretation, was it lower per capita, in total, for a given year, at a point in time, for a particular bill passed, does it include tax on gasoline? ROMNEY HAS CUT THE TAX LOAD OF RUNNING GOVERNMENT, HE REDUCED EXPENSES AND STAFF SIZES….that is what matters most.

When it comes to pardons, I think we should let the judges judge and let the governors govern. We shouldn't have governors judging or judges governing! If you want to be found innocent of past wrongs...TALK TO THE JUDGE! I find it hard to believe Huckabee could research and judge over ONE THOUSAND criminal cases while in office AS A GOVERNOR and pardon them. What are our laws and courts for?

This embarrassment reminds me of how Clinton left office, paying off his debts to special interests and political $$ promoters.

Romney2008 says it all!

He was making light of how many people really try and make a big deal out of his hair, what do you expect for him to mess it up or shave it - wierd! He is a normal man, that combs his hair just like most of us. You are all just trying to find something to pick on, cause you can't pick on his politics. GO MITT ROMNEY!!!!!!!!!!!!

What's with the candidates and their mics? It seems every time we see one of these power-hungry maniacs, they have a mic in hand and a comatose audience in the background. Anyone catch Hillary in her mobile Oval Office? She couldn't throw herself fast enough at the camera's upon learning about Bhutto's assassination: Sure Hillary, "let's not politicize the assassination", while you sit in your makeshift Oval Office.
