Was doesn't Ron Paul get fair media coverage????

rachel   January 3rd, 2008 8:32 pm ET

Are we going to have a Bush/Clinton regime? This is why we vote to prevent this.

Mike   January 3rd, 2008 7:46 pm ET

Why does Clinton get more air time from CNN? mmmm let me count the reasons…..$1 million here…another $10 million there….and the big payoff if she gets elected.

sergay yurivich   January 3rd, 2008 7:34 pm ET

CLINTON NEWS NETWORK(CNN) ON THE MOVE ONCE AGAIN>KEEP ON MAKING YOUR NETWORK LOOK SILLY IN THE EYES OF AMERICANS WHO BELIEVE ITS TIME TO MOVE AHEAD, IT IS OBVIOUS THAT OBAMA IS THE CHANGE UNITED STATES NEED TODAY,NOT SOMEONE WHO VOTED CONSCIOUSLY FOR THE WAR IN IRAQ,EVEN AS OBAMA WHO VOTED FIERCELY AGAINST THE WAR WHEN EVEN A STATE LEGISLATOR. PLEASE CNN, DO NOT DISGRACE JOURNALISM!

Lula   January 3rd, 2008 7:34 pm ET

I think Clinton will make the best president we ever had….Lula Peterson Tn

VoteResponbly08   January 3rd, 2008 7:27 pm ET

A vote for Obama-Risk=Republican back in the White House
Vote for Obama and you will get a more refined Republican Administration…

Obama=No Experience=Danger to our Country!!!

VoteResponbly08   January 3rd, 2008 7:26 pm ET

Hillary the most qualified to be Pressident! The first woman President and
the most qualified. Wow.. All women should be proud!!!
This will make such a difference for all Americans…Give her a chance and
her convictions, passion and experience will bring our country back to Global
Respect, a better economy.
God Bless America!!! Proud times ahead!!!

Gil - California   January 3rd, 2008 6:58 pm ET

It is a shame that we say things like, "it is time for a woman in the white house" or black or hispanic or morman or anything else. It IS time for the best candidate to be picked. While I still hold out hope that I might get to chose the better of the two candidates, I have a bad feeling that I will have to vote against the least bad such as a Hillary vs Mitt card. Of course it that were to happen, this may be the year for an independant to win.

david, NH   January 3rd, 2008 6:46 pm ET

Senetor Hillary Rodham Clinton may not win Iowa tonight…that is beacuse Iowa has never elected a woman to a higher office. If they are brave and want change they will vote for her. If they think a woman should stay home and make coockies and want another suit they will vote for Senator John Reid Edwards. If they want to loose the general election and hand over the supreme court and the white house to the conservative republicans they will vote for Senator Barack Hussein Obama.

Roger, Kentucky   January 3rd, 2008 6:44 pm ET

If Hillary win tonight and wins the nomination the republicans win again

Joe   January 3rd, 2008 6:43 pm ET

pam Eugene OR
Trillion dollar surplus, 20,000,000 jobs, rescued 1,000,000 Kosovar Muslims, among Bill Clinton's many magnificent achievments. We need Hillary to repair the "damage to last a lifetime" done by the Bush and prevent the blunders an inexperienced Obama has shown he will make.

Roger, Kentucky   January 3rd, 2008 6:38 pm ET

If Hillary finishes third I hope this means she will be out of the race.
she is not an agent for change she is just more of the same

Cynthia   January 3rd, 2008 6:37 pm ET

Republican rule is over (at least for now) and it's time for a Democrat to step into office–people want it and the Dem's know it. This will be an unprecedented presidentship no matter who is the victor. The serious question we must consider when voting is "considering the current conditions of global state and economic affairs that directly impact the US, who really can bring about the change this country duly years for and needs? Obama has grand aspirations, but so did Hillary when she first stepped into the White house (Recall the Health Plan Disiaster?) It takes more than high aspirations and tenacious vigor to penetrate an instituion that has been in place since our country first began–it takes experience and the wisdom to know how to get results. Let's also keep mindful that Hillary would not crumble during a state of crisis, nor would her advisors dictate measures on her behalf. I feel that in a desperate situation, Obama would be like a deer in headlights and we don't need another Bush in office!

Rick   January 3rd, 2008 6:30 pm ET

HILLARY IS A CROOK and shouldnt even get the chance to speak on that stage. mark my words if she wins, were in for a lot of trouble…

Ashley, you crack me up.

"i still think that there is a lot of racism and sexism in this country and i dont have a lot of faith in the rural areas to make the right choice"

You're right, there is alot of sexism and racism in this country, and now you can fully quantify yourself as part of the problem! Who do you think these "rural" area people are? KKK? Nazis? He-man woman haters? Whats to say these "rural" folks are not just as educated as I'm sure you claim to be? What's to say your values or opinions are more important then their? Seriously. If you want the world to change, start in your own home.

steinoly   January 3rd, 2008 6:28 pm ET

GOGOGOGOGOGO GO…………. "Don't vote…… It only encourages them".

Cliff, Newport, NH   January 3rd, 2008 6:28 pm ET

My guess is she'll finish 3rd, 7-8 percentage points from the winner, but just point to Feb 5. Rightly so, at this point, but no telling what Iowa will do for Edwards and Obama. Hey, maybe Edwards will actually get some press coverage.

There has got to be a better way to elect a president.

sabrina   January 3rd, 2008 6:26 pm ET

I'm not worried about Mrs. Clinton. With or without Iowa, she will be the next president.
It's time!

steinoly   January 3rd, 2008 6:26 pm ET

STOPSTOPSTOP…………. Republicans have just completed their caucus………… It was ONE vote for Huck(abee) and TWO votes UNDECIDED, but leaning to Herman Goring.

RonPaulOrBust   January 3rd, 2008 6:24 pm ET

Hillary will bring CHANGE and will LEAD the sheeple forward into a new age of HOPE. Rah rah rah!!

What exactly does she stand for again? I love how these Hillary's and Obama's blab on and on about change and experience and who has the biggest willy but they never get into specifics.

Hillary makes those big promises about universal health care and big spending but who pays for it? We pay for it. We will end up paying for more inefficient government bureaucracy while the US dollar goes down the tubes.

They're supposed to be anti-Iraq war but they can't promise a withdrawal until 2013 when they would have left office. What a joke.

Roger   January 3rd, 2008 6:17 pm ET

If Hillary gets third I hope she will be gone

ashley   January 3rd, 2008 6:00 pm ET

hillary hillary hillary… this country will go down if we dont have another clinton in office. i still think that there is a lot of racism and sexism in this country and i dont have a lot of faith in the rural areas to make the right choice. hillary has my vote 100% and i hope people all over this country can realize that america needs a change and only hillary can make the changes necessary for this country to prosper again… after all… shes the only one who has white house experience!!!

Dave C - NJ   January 3rd, 2008 5:58 pm ET

Why is Billy Gibbons from ZZ Top sweeping the floor????

andrew k, RI   January 3rd, 2008 5:56 pm ET

the photo looks like clinton just gained the zz top endorsement!

Helen   January 3rd, 2008 5:55 pm ET

Go Hillary !!!! Its time a woman gets a chance

pam Eugene OR   January 3rd, 2008 5:52 pm ET

I am praying she will be too ashamed to show up. This country does not need any more of Clinton or Bush. They have done enough damage to last a lifetime.
Obama/Edwards 08
Any one but Clinton

Marko, Chicago IL   January 3rd, 2008 5:49 pm ET

Funny how every time I go to this website there is a photo of Hillary or Clinton-related images on the main political page. it's almost as if CNN is trying to force feed her to us.

Miss M, Stanford, CA   January 3rd, 2008 5:48 pm ET

Hillary all the way! It's time for a woman in the White House, and she certainly knows more about it than most women! Good luck Mrs. Clinton!

DJ, new york, ny   January 3rd, 2008 5:46 pm ET

If Hillary wins tonite, obama and edwards are dead.

If Hillary does not win tonite, obama survives but will be dead on Feb 5th.

She has the firewall in new hampshire and many later states, and she averages 25 pts ahead of obama. Win, place or show tonite, hillary will be OK.

Barry   January 3rd, 2008 5:39 pm ET

I will delight as I attend tonight's caucus in knowing that my Democrat-minded coworkers will be rallying against this elitist, opportunist phony much as I will be doing against Mitt Romney.

thepoliticalpost   January 3rd, 2008 5:35 pm ET

We shouldn't underestimate Mrs. Clinton but we shouldn't overestimate her either. That's part of the problem with the inevitable candidate strategy.

Can Mrs. Clinton survive a third place show in Iowa?

http://thepoliticalpost.wordpress.com/2008/01/03/can-hillary-clinton-survive-a-third-place-finish-in-iowa/

Tete   January 3rd, 2008 5:30 pm ET

"Ready for Change"?…. haha Hillary is stealing from Obama.

Sad

robin   January 3rd, 2008 5:28 pm ET

are people nuts? I like Obama too but come back in 4 or 8 years when you've grown up.Hillary, get over she's a woman,if she was a man she would be the winner. Go Hillary

Steve   January 3rd, 2008 5:27 pm ET

If it's like any of her other speeches it will be written by her staff and not say anything about a whole lot of nothing so as to not offend anyone that may or may not vote for her.

Lisa H., Ann Arbor, MI   January 3rd, 2008 5:25 pm ET

I didn't realize she got an endorsement from ZZ Top.

Mati   January 3rd, 2008 5:22 pm ET

She will take any result as one step in a long process. Don't underestimate her capacity as a marathon runner. This woman has determination, common sense, practicality. No matter what Iowa offers tonight, tomorrow morning she will build and/or adjust her strategy. That's why all sane intelligent people not only in America but around the world love the Clintons.

Hillary '08! (with or without Iowa)
