Obama has NO RECORD. He has not spoken about how intends to make changes. Hilary Clinton cares about the people and has been making changes to improve our world for over 30 years. She has a record and she's backed by Bill Clinton who is brilliant like herself.

The world was dumb to vote in Bush and most of the people who voted for Bush ended up loosing their family members in the War.

America, please don't make the same mistake by voting for someone who has NO INTEREST and NO EXPERIENCE.

Well, I suppose it wouldn't be the first time the Mormons have "posted-up" against the blacks...

Romney is looking for serious embarrassment!

If he or anyone comes after Obama with the message of change[as he suggests]...that person will be 'murderlized' badly! Change is best suited to Obama and in every way too!

mitt is a politican and that is scary. he will do anything to get elected including, but not limited to:

a) spending millions of dollars
b) running negative campaign ads
c) changing pretty much every opinion he has ever had on people (mccain) and values (abortion) in order to appease a voting population. ROMNEY IS NOT A MAN OF PRINCIPLE BUT A MAN OF POLITICS. these are not personal epiphanies. Romney needed votes. plain and simple
d) having his closest personal aid pose as a police office TWICE to get the media off his trail(its legit. romney obviously claimed ignorance. what an emphatic leader. doesn't even know what his closest personal aid is up to, if his ignorance is actually true.)
e) being as reaganesque as possible
f) pretending to be a life long hunter (he got his NRA membership a month before campaigning) politics
g) LYING how many times has Romney said one thing only to clarify, disclaim or modify the original statement a couple days later when only a tenth of the audience is watching? ie MLK statements and the "hunting small varmints" issue
f) jumping ON A DEMOCRATS BANDWAGON (the cardinal sin, besides the whole FELONY impersonation thing)

MITT ROMNEY IS A POLITICIAN. IF YOU WANT MORE OF THE SAME, MITT IS YOUR BOY.

It never ceases to amaze me how dumb the general public can be. Just becuase you don't know anything about running a government doesn't mean you should vote for someone who has no clue. Obama will fail and fail misrebly. People will remember Bush as a great president if Obama follows. Take a good look at Obama and you'll see the slick car salesman that sold you lemon by going on and on in general terms and not telling you anything specific about the auto. You were a sucker back then, don't be a sucker now. Mitt's the real deal and he tells it like it is. Cross over and cast a vote for intelligence, success, and experience. GO MITT!!

Mitt, those of us who have looked into what you've done, what you want to do to help our country and how you keep your cool will continue to support you all the way. The people who post these goofy comments on here obviously don't know you. Anyone who changes their mind to support McCain never had their own mind to make up anyway. It's a Liberal Press dream to have the Dem against old man McCain.

This is the best the Romney camp can do? He might as well say - I can't win the presidency, but I'll give the Democratic front-runner a challenge. This man is truly un-remarkable. Let him fade into Republican mediocrity for good.

I think what Mitt is saying is that a man like Barack Obama might be considered good enough (nowadays) to hold the Mormon Priesthood, but he still isn't good enough to hold the U.S. Presidency.

Best way to beat Obama is to have McCain in front of him. Obama is just winning because people hate Clinton. Otherwise, Obama is just another Bill Clinton in the making.

McCain with his straight talk and real experience can say "dont preach me kid"/ McCain can blow of Obama's fluff with substance which Hillary isnt able to do.

Mitt Romney, like Hillary Clinton is an Israel-Firster indebted to the American Israel Public Affairs Committee. (AIPAC). We can`t trust any of the old guard of politicians because Democrat or Republican, they have served the interest of foreign powers. It is time to take back America from special interests and their lap dog politicians. Go Barack Obama, and Ron Paul.

There is something about Mr. Romney that makes me feel like our nation would be in good hands. His attitude to 'change Washington' excites and invigorates me, as there is much to change and much good to do. He's got my vote. Go get 'em in NH!

I'm sorry, but I can't take anyone seriously who refers to Mitt Romney as "unprincipled." You may not care for his principles, but he is the only candidate in either party who has a consistent record of impeccable ethics.

Jr., if you think that Obama can run a country because he's an overpaid attorney with a couple of years of experience in the statehouse, then maybe your Amway uncle can run the country.

The only thing attorneys know how to DO is talk.

regardless of who wins, i sure would like to see an election without personal, and insulting attacks. It makes all candidates look ridculous, and does nothing to further national pride/healing. -Dr. Ron Paul in 08

Romney appears to be the typical politician. He will say anything to be elected. He's a hunter, he has NRA endorsements, he's against abortion, he's a hard core conservative, the original anti-immigration person, man of faith, dad walked with MLK and now he has a better chance to beat Obama. His attack ads and attacks on fellow candidates are disgraceful (he is trying to "outBush" Bush). He appears desperate and liable to say anything. Does not appear trustworthy at all. Americans have seen this type of person before and frankly we are tired of it. Please send this type of political act the strong message that Americans are sick of it and we are not going to take it anymore.

Mitt was my governor of my home state and did fantastic. I love all the anti-Mitt comments on here. You don't know the man or what he has done.

Washington needs to be run by a business. Do you see how inefficient the government is today? If it was run like a business then it wouldn't be.

The fact is everything Mitt touches turns to gold. Whether he flip flops on certain issues is not the point...he has a solid track record of being able to turn everything around that he works on.

Also...do you realize that without Mitt, there isn't another Republican candidate who is for lower taxes and against illegal immigration. Get rid of Mitt and you have a guaranteed tax hike.

I shudder when I hear a voter say "he seems like a genuine person, or a likable guy." If you use the word" seems" in a sentence describing what made you choose a presidential candidate, you should be appointed a handler or a sane family member before you cast your ballot. And this is especially true with those voting for Huckabee on his value as a likable guy. It should be a federal offense to admit in public let alone vote for a president on the premiss of likability in this day and age. If a block of, or a majority of voters ever again get a president elected in any way, on whether he seemed nice, the sheer naiveity of it should bring on the calimity it provokes.

Mitt Romney is as shady a politician as they get, and his ties to the scandalous and dubious Mormon church make him all the less credible as a person with any genuine interest in human progress, rather than human control.

To the gentleman who egregiously misrepresented the beliefs of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints regarding garments and salvation: the Church's actual doctrine can be found on http://www.mormon.org.

I appreciate the civil political dialogue inspired by this election, but publicly defaming or misrepresenting a candidate's religion is indecent.

Uh people,Iowa and New Hampshire don't pick the nominee. They only weed out the real losers. A bad showing matters, but not winning doesn't. This race has a far way to go. Predicting a nominee by tomorrow is like planning for a sunny day in April. The turn out by democratic leaners vs. republican leaners will tell us much more useful information. I'm willing to bet the republicans are on the losing end just like in Iowa.

Me thinks that the little pointy head dems on this board spew their hate too profusedly toward Mitt. If he can garner this much hate, then he must be a pretty good candidate. That's it. He is my man. My vote goes to Mitt, the most intelligent man in the race and one with the right kind of experience. He will beat the crap out of that blow hard 'junior' senator from Illinois.

The personal attacks on Mitt Romney are ridiculous. It seems like some of ya'll need to grow up a bit. You need to be looking at experience, maturity, values, and a whole host of traits that Romney has. Some of the candidates have some of the right stuff, but Romney is the ONLY candidate who fills the WHOLE bill, Republican or Democrat. Both Obama and Hillary put together still have but a mere speck of the experience, charisma, and wisdom that Romney has. It's amazing that anybody can look at them seriously.

Both Romney and Huckabee would have no chance, the christian right wont be able to get elected this cycle--there is too much hatred right now towards that wing of the Republicans. Personally I think Rudy is the only hope, precisely because he is a liberal socially.

Come On Mitt! I'm rooting for ya! Most of the Democrats running will eat you up. Obama will throughly trounce on. I've seen some video footage of Mitt's past debates when he ran for Governor of Mass. and Senator of Mass. He will get severely "swift-boated" by the Democratic party machine in which most the stuff would be true.

Jr., California - LOL! Your comment is unacceptable and laughable. Comparing someone who sells soap to their friends door to door vs. someone who has run several multi-billion dollar corporations? That is a load of hogwash! Please rethink what you just posted. This is the guy that has turned around hundreds of companies and in the process saved countless jobs - for 25 years! Has Obama done that? This is the guy that turned around the Olympics when it was mired in corruption and no one wanted to even touch it. Has Obama done that? This the guy that as Governor turned around record deficits and finally made politicians accountable. Has Obama done that? In fact, please enlighten us as to what Obama HAS done. I actually like the guy, but you really need to think about that one a little more.

Mitt or Giuliani. The others will be peanut butter on toast and served up at brunch to Obama. Perhaps the best ticket will be Mitt and Giuliani (you choose pres.) That would be an impressive economic ticket with just enough conservatism to force the Evangelicals to start thinking more about winning and less about preaching.

Don't be so fast to write off Hillary as the Democrat nominee. Obama says he's the candidate for change but the real candidate for change is Hillary Clinton. Hillary has the experience to be president. Hillary has a good resume. Where is Obama experience? On the campaign trail, and thats it.

To the gentleman who egregiously misrepresented the beliefs of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints regarding garments and salvation: the Church's actual doctrine can be found on www.mormon.org.

I appreciate the civil political dialogue inspired by this election, but publicly defaming or misrepresenting a candidate's religion is indecent.

The candidate who can beat Obama would be the one who is dramatically opposed to his Big Government plans for us. As such, there's no chance for Romney, Guliani, Huckabee, Thompson, Hunter, *or* McCain. No matter how they package it, the message is based on the same rhetoric as Barrack - that government is the solution to our problems. Since Obama is a better orator, the moderates will flock to him and assure his victory.

Unless,... unless there was a candidate who understands that government *is* the problem. *That* candidate will gain the support of the undecideds and independents, as well as the Republicans who still believe that "least is best", that a sound fiscal policy is paramount, and that we can be responsible for ourselves. Such a candidate would absolutely crush the Social/Democrats.

Who could it be?

Dr. Ron Paul. Send him a check.

Mitt is a great candidate for president. He is the real deal. Those who post personal attacks (his hair, his money, his persona) are exposing your shallow side.

Those of you picking apart his religion, go ahead, put yours on the table, we can find a thousand things wrong with it. Stop with the religious bigotry. What religion is the current president? How much do you love him? Compare your life of "service" with Romney's and I'll bet you come up short. He's an incredible individual who deserves credit for his contributions.

If you didn't know, his dad started as a "car salesman" and worked his way up from there. He paid for Mitt's education, but after that, Mitt made the millions on his own. How can you criticize him for his wealth? Have you been criticized for your hard work and rewards?

Obama is another diamond in the rough. America really needs a great individual at the helm. Let the best one win, in the meantime, let's play fair with the criticisms.

Obama is unstoppable and neither McCain nor Romney have any horsepower to win if it comes to be between him and either. The only way to win if if Democrats make the mistake of choosing some one to re-employ the old status Quo, which Americans are eager to get rid of

The American people have seen what Republicans can do for 8 years. And this was with the Senate, House, and Presidency in their hands.

If the American people look at this record and say "yes" to this party again, we are doomed.

I don't care what Democrat runs against what Republican. The Republicans' claim to fame rests on their silly, time wasting impeachment of Clinton, their lockstep support for Bush's policies, two questionable elections, and Iraq. What are the fruits of their labor?

Look around you. War. Fear. Half-truths (and not about personal peccadilloes but about war and money and the Constitution) and cronyism.

Time's up. America's only shot at saving itself from the dustbin of history is to oust the Republican Party in 2008. Period.

Obama is going to get the Dem's nod. Which Republican can beat him?

McCain: no. too old; too "establishment"; too Washingtonian; too status-quo; won't even get a second look from voters, given choice of Obama
Thompson: no. too old; no energy; no passion; too far down in the polls to really matter, and he won't be coming back up
Huckabee: no: has no ideas worth floating or comparing to Obama's; can't hold up in a debate; doesn't have a record of getting any done of any substance; his Sunday School class will be voting for Obama
Romney -- yes!!! World-class experience; strong command of the economy, of global markets; has actually implemented a health plan; has run the Olympics; has run a state; has a strong family; has values; has a history of bringing different opinions from both sides of the aisle and coming up with solutions, and more importantly, implementing them; strong debater.

Prediction: Mitt vs Obama. Result: President Romney.
Republicans need to realize that no other Republican candidate can go head-to-head against Obama and win. Seriously

Interesting choice of words Mitt.

Makes sense though as Barak is now the presumptive nominee and, of course, all black men understand/play basketball.

Somehow, I don't think Mitt "Dog Whistle" Romney is talking only about his basketball jones, here. Or his vertical leap. What a tool.

McCain will plummet like a rock after New Hampshire. The Huck & McCain may have dealt semi-fatal blows to Romney in Iowa & New Hampshire. But make no mistake, McCain's best days are behind him not in front of him. The Press that fawned all over him really needs to ask whether this guy still has all of his faculties. He has made some pretty whacky statements over the last year. Laying in wait, he hasn't laid a glove on McCain...YET! The rise of Giuliani will come after New Hampshire to snuff the life out of McCain's candidacy. He is smoking crack if he does not realize that once again the GOP is using him to serve an alternate purpose. McCain is breathing his last gasp of political air.
