Classic Clintonian move. Talk something down repeatedly, in spite of ACTUAL ECONOMIC NUMBERS to the contrary. Then when you get in office, tell everyone that you turned vinegar into wine.

See, according to Hillary and those who carry her water, right now it's all Bread Lines and Soup Kitchens as far as the eye can see. (Cue gloomy music here)

But when she rises to claim the crown that she's had her eye on for 40 years, she'll change her tune and announce she's "fixed" the economy.

Yee haw! It's all champaign and roses from then on!

Good lord, these people are slick. If they Clintons told you the sky was blue, you'd be well advised to step outside and verify.

There are a narrow minded few who will never see the forest for the trees where Hillary is concerned. I personally think Hillary has shown amazing strength. She has to constantly fight in the face of the most intense media scrutiny and vitriolic personal attacks that any presidential contender has EVER had to face. I guess it's partly because she's a woman and partly because the pump was primed 15 years ago when big monied healthcare interests aligned with right-wingers to villify her for daring to take them on to get healthcare for as many folks as possible. Judging from some of these posts, the monkey-see, monkey-do effect still continues. Yet, she soldiers on under circumstances that would have long ago sent ALL of her opponents scurrying and boo-hooing. That's the kind of strength and courage we need in the white house.

When I look at the picture of Bill and Hilary standing together, I think to myself. Surely America can't be stupid enough to put this couple back in the White House. They can't even be true to themselves let alone the country. How many of you women who voted for Hilary would stay with your significant other after he lied to you and then to the entire country about his infidelity? Heck Hilary can't even take care of her husband, let alone the entire country!

I find this whole scenario mind-boggling. Clinton moves to New York, having only previously lived there on a part-time basis just to get residency and therefore access to a more pwerful Senate seat, and New Yorkers appease her ambition by electing her. Now she runs under the banner of "change" as part of the old Dem establishment. Wake up, America. The Bushes aren't the answer for what ails us, and neither is another Clinton in the White House.

Is that what we want from now on...political dynasties? Why not just annoint Jeb Bush to follow Billary, or better yet, why don't we just revert to having kings? Heaven help this nation, folks.

Ann. Sorry but you really outta study up on responsibilities of a citizen of this country cause you don't seem to have a clue. Obama is asking us to participate and bring about the change. He is only the messenger. The change that this country needs is for all of us to try and get along and work together to help our country. Try and come together to solve some of the most daunting problems mankind has ever faced. If nothing else for your kids sake. We need to do this together. Unfortunately the last time we all came together was 9-11. Bush and Cheney had a moment to help heal and unite this country more than it had been for many years. Instead they used this time for their personal gain to intervene in Iraq and basically betrayed our trust and this country. We have way too many complacent persons in this country and that is the issue and why our representation does not listen to us,but instead goes with special interests. We should all be more actively involved in understanding issues so issues you vote on actually represent you. Not what someone else said or did or printed etc. It is important, and a responsibility of citizens of this country, not just leaving it up to the politicians or we are doomed.

Nancy, you want Hillary to leave her husband? Why because he was president, how many cheating men and I might also add women partners stay with them? Why is she any different? She held her family together, and decided to stay with her husband. No matter why her reason, it showed she has strength especially under such public exposure of their personal life.

HRC is strong, intelligent, articulate and is informed. This mantra of change and riding the wave is getting old. I want to know about candidates stance on issues. I am not going to support a president who misses votes because he does not want to take a stand on important issues and when he does, votes present on critical and important issues. Take a stand, and take responsibility when the decision was not appropriate as you thought to make it right. Hillary does that and Obama does not.

The thing about Hillary Clinton in my opinion is several things. 1. As a mother, Hillary Clinton's It takes a Village came from an African Folklore and as a consequence of her adding rhetoric to phrases robbed the American family the responsibility of raising their children. I mean Hiliary robbed the American family the right to discipline their children. According to the scripture, spare the rod and spoil the child or how about the spirit of a fool is bound to the heart of a child but the rod of correction will drive it far from him. Now it very difficult for families and teachers to discipline and manage children. The first thing is child abuse. So that is what is wrong with her family. (No vote from me there).

2. As I watched her campaign in New Hampshere, I begin to see a different harsh cold Hilary, a desperate woman it appeared and her constant attacks on the candidates really disappointed me. If she is secure and believe what she says, then attacks are meaningless. I echo Senator Edwards, "Hiliary you did not act or say those things when you were ahead. (No vote frome me there).

3. Hiliary begins to cry because she has finally realized the America people do not want her as any leader and have grew tired of looking at her husband. How in the world can she lead a great nation and cry when she cannot have her way? Pathetic (No vote from me there). The (us) Hiliary is referring to is her own family. (I, I, me, me, my, my). Hiliary does not care about anyone in America but herself. People will find out soon enough.

4. How in the world can her fornicating husband (Bill Clinton) get on TV and say anything about anybody? The sight of him is sickening.

5. How in the world can Hiliary Clinton lead a country when she cannot lead her own home including her fornicating husband and if I am not mistaken , wasn't Chelsey caught drunk driving or was that Bush's daughter? (No vote from me there).

6. Third World Countries. Women are second class citizens. How in the world can she possibly engage into communcation with Islam? We will be in some serious trouble and nuclear warfare will come to us before 50 years. They are not like the US. Obsurdity!! (No vote from me there).

7. Hilliary was allowed to win in New Hampshere because the republicans know they cannot beat Barrack Obama but they know they can tear Hilliar yand Bill along with Chelsea apart. No American people are going to choose her over McClain, Huckabee and yes even Romney.

8. Some one who truly loves Hiliary should tell her to go home and get her own house in order and leave running the country to men because it is apparant she is not strong enough to muster the heavy weight.

9. I am a democrat and if by some bought off election or tappered votes and she gets the nomination then I will vote for whatever republican is running. That is how messed up America has become.

10. I would not vote for HIliary Clinton is she was running by herself.

11. The only person living in a fairy tale is Bill each time he is caught in immoral acts especially when he told the government. "I did not have sex with that woman."
GET A GRIP!!!!!

What qualifications Obama brings to table except making nice speeches. We cannot have another president like Bush who lacks depth and talks nonsense without any practical real solutions.

blake cromwell: Whatever problems you have with Oprah take it up with her directly. Oprah is not on the ballot. She exercised her right to endorse a candidate she believes in. What is more, she is way out of your league. And what experience precisely are you referring when you speak of Hillary Clinton. Other than being the wife of a philandering President, what experience would that be?

About the election, the result was a huge personal disappointment. However, I believe Obama is on to something huge in America that is even bigger than himself. As a black Canadian myself, I'm proud of what he has been able to accomplish thus far and I hope and pray that maybe in my life time God Almighty will raise up a person like him who will inspire us Canadians to aspire to something better than the life of mediocrity that we seem to have settled for in our country.

GO hillary !!! I support her all the way. Obama may be a great person but he has NO experience nor the ability to create the necessary change in this country. The risk in voting for Obama is that he doesn't understand much about the real politics in washington and this is very clear through his answers during earlier debates. Look at his track records, he has not accomplish anything of relevance or substantial for this country. Ask any leader in this world, they would agree that a key component to sucess is experience and wisdom, which Hillary definitely has.

It is completely sad to see that women are not happy about Hillary showing her emotion. How many times did Oprah and Barak played the race card? It is time for this country to be cared by a woman and Hillary would do a great job.

Does anyone remember the good times we had under Bill Clinton. I sure do remember very well when the world respected us, prosperity and had a surplus in which Bill Clinton left for George Bush; of course, he use it for the war in Iraq. Go Hillary and let the good times come back!!!!!

hillary is a strong woman. strong enough to forgive bill and hold her family together. maybe she can forgive bush and hold our nation together. thats the kind of president I want. strong, intelligent, experienced, open. and if hillary is that dedicated to her career than that is fine with me. I would hope our next president is that dedicated to her job.

Come on people, they are both good candidates. Actually the whole field is good. We don't know these people and we probably never will. I vote for experience and from history. Bush was unknown, campaigned on change and look what happened. I don't think Obama is comparable to Bush but he DOES NOT have the experience and I won't make the mistake of an unknown again. We should learn from our mistakes and Hillary has a proven track record and the Clinton years were GOOD for everyone.

she bullies when she's up in the polls, then she cries like a baby when she's down, or throws a temper tantrum like a two-year -old.
Nancy, what are you talking about? You better listen to what each candidate say before you crucify Clinton. The people of New Hampshire has the right to select the person that they believe is the best. There is nobody in this world that is perfect or flawless - are you saying that you are? If you are - then why don't you run for President? I would like to see how you handle yourself under pressure and in front of the spotlight. I wonder how would you convince people to care for your ideas or yourself as one?

The most telling statistic: Bill Clinton raked in over $10 million last year in speaker's fees; both Barack and Michelle Obama are still paying off their student loans. Who would you trust?

Wow. What marketing skill to tap the 20s- early 30s to have them believe NO Experience in Foreign Policy is a good thing. All it takes is one trip to Europe / Overseas to understand how the US is viewed internationally.
Wisdom is far greater than naivety.

CNN should have me calling these races...People like obama but the country is not ready to put a rookie in the white house. You need the experience of Hillary Clinton to lead your country out of the whole that the bush regime has put you in.
I'm a canadian and i was watching as some lady by the name of Donna, she is a black lady, was saying at 7:00 pm that obama was going to win big. What a mistake. I'm a black man myself and i know the US needs experience not some candidate picked by a self serving talk show host who blows her own horn. Oprah is not a person who should be supporting anyone or be listened to. This women gets too much credit for nothing as far as i'm concerned. HILLARY is YOUR WOMEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I also believe that Hillary is the best choice. If we want Americas economy to change as it was 10 years ago, she has the experience to deliver that. If we look for a fresh and better future she is in a better position to pull the necessary resources. Experience and resources that is what Hillary is about.

Is that Hillary White Water or White House? Is is really all about the economy, stupid? How about backbone and principles? How about having the guts to cut the political strings and put her daughter and her own self-respect above pollitics and dumping a cheating, lying husband? I don't believe a woman who would subject her child to the humiliation of a cheating, lying, father in the name of her own political future is worthy of my vote. There are absolutes in this world. We should always remember: What is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing. That gutless conduct in the face of public scandal is the true measure of the candidate.

Go Clinton, go!!! It is the Economy Stupid and none of the other candidates have the experiential knowledge or an intrinsic desire to strengthen those pillars that will bring economic stability and prosperity again to those of us suffering fiscal DISASTER from Bush’s economic stimulus policy of tax and jobs cuts.

"The majority of voters who said they were falling behind financially, voted for Clinton".
This is the most disheartening news. Voters who believe that elected officials, and "enabling" governement, are the cure for poor decisions, lack of adequate training, and poor financial decisions driven by consumerism (i.e. poor me, I bought more house than I can afford, plus the plasma TV, and now I'm losing ground financially). But Hillary can save me - she has compassion for poorpeople.
Let's all get on the "gverment saves all" bandwagon and just flush what's left of responsibility and national pride.

We now have a worthwhile battle for the democratic nomination, You can never underestimate the power of experience! and the ground support of the "Clinton Machine"I think it is great, in that irrespective of whether it is Hillary or Barack that emerges victorious at the convention either should defeat anyone on the republican ticket.

Have we become so cynical that we think everything a candidate does is staged? The press took a personal and emotional moment and made it something it wasn't. Perhaps Hilary's emotional display is because of her strong feelings for this country and the last 8 horrible years! If her name was not Clinton would we be willing to give her more of a chance? Go Hilary!

don't think we can say this isn't a change election... in two states now, the first woman and the first person of african-american descent have finished top 2 in statewide elections. People who don't want Hillary don't say it is because she is a woman, hardly anyone mentions Obama's race. Fortunately, the Dems have about four more qualified candidates still running, with a couple of more on the bench, who can do better than any of the Repubs.

Nancy, don't get hysterical. Hillary didn't compete as a woman.

Look at Obama's speech right now.. promising again people that YOU would lead. For God's sake, I don't have time for politics, I have my life. I don't want to lead. I want to HIRE the right politicians to do their job. So, I don't care about US governing. I want to find the RIGHT people to do this for me and my family.
