Rudy and his campaign are a sham. He's running on empty and so are his policies. He's the genious who located the emergency center in the trade towers in spite of all recommendations to the contrary. Rudy's strategy is unconventional but I hope that it will work. I know that he's got my vote here in california. We need someone who is willing to burn the midnight candle to come up with real and good solutions for this country. While other candidates are depending on sound bites and likability....Rudy knows that this country is at a cross-road and americans can not live on sound bites and personalities alone. John Mccain is a good man but he has little economic, foreign relations and domestic experience. John will be good at setting the right battle strategy should we go into another war but Rudy is a well-rounded candidate who can bring this country out of recession and keep us strong to fight another day should we need to fight. The dems wants mccain to win the GOP primary because they know it will be easy for them to attack him for being top heavy in military with nothing else on economic and domestic policies. Wake up people...we need an academic and studious leader right now and Rudy is the right man to get this country back on track.

A couple of corrections need to be applied to some of the comments above:

First, Rudy G. had an 18pt. lead over Hillary Clinton before he dropped out of the PRIMARY campaign. Had he gone head-to-head with her in the general election, he probably would have won by at least 20 pts.

Second, Rudy G. was very popular with the New York City electorate (go back and check the polls if you wish) prior to and after 9/11. Only the City Council and the local public safety unions were down on him at that time. The voters loved him!

Third, enough with the Ron Paul endorsements! The guy's a loon and several of his statements last Thursday night during South Carolina debate were, once again, factually incorrect. Much like Howard Dean during the 2004 Democratic Primary season, he has raised a noticeable sum of money via the Internet. And, just like Dean experienced later, R. Unfortunately Rudy isn't going to get out of the race just yet. It was always his intent to take just enough of the major delegate states to corner the nomination. When Michael Mukasey was appointed as Attorney General, it became very clear that the Republican Convention would be a "coronation instead of a campaign." Rudy doesn't need to worry about campaign funds......he has Mitt who is actively participating in an "auction....not an election." While Romney is not viable as a presidential candidate, he can probably garner enough delegates to barter for the VP position at the convention.

If the good folks of this country continue listening to soundbites and accepting vague "plans" of "leadership" we will have a Republican ticket of Giuliani/Romney.

Asking your campaign staff to go without pay is ludicrous and should be getting more coverage. It shows Giuliani's true colors - the guy doesn't have enough money, even personally, to donate to his own campaign to pay his staffers? That's ridiculous.

It sounds to me like he wants his staffers to feel all the pain while he doesn't make any sacrifices. Giuliani is the ANTITHESIS of what this country is all about, he only cares for himself. Then there is video of him saying the buildings might be coming down before they illogically did. Then he goes around the world and makes 16 million dollars lecturing on 9/11. Enough 9/11 Rudy! Your involvement runs both ways, or it would appear so to me.

The entire Giuliani campaign seems to be based on 9/11 and the phoniness of that claim is proven by Giuliani's abysmal showing so far. No wonder the campaign' s war chest can't afford to pay top staff members.

As for the strategy of concentrating on big states, voters will remember that:

Locating the emergency response team office at the World Trade Center (knowing there had been already a bombing attack) was NOT SMART.

Knowing that Police and Firefighters radios can't communicate with each other and doing nothing about was NOT SMART!

Being invited to participate to the 9/11 Commission without participating because of other commitments (giving speeches at $100,000) was NOT SMART.

I am a Brit following the presidential race. To me, the only person speaking honestly and truthfully is Ron Paul. His message is based on fact. Thompson's the only other person I have respect for, but Paul tells the truth and is soooooo incredibly smart...check out all of his economic plans and beliefs. Rudy won't win the nomination and will have to drop out soon, since he won't be winning ANY primaries either. Why keep calling Rudy a "womanizer" his marriage was well over….his ex-wife couldn't find time when he was very sick & if you saw his swearing in to be Mayor of NYC she let her kid get away w/bad manners while Rudy was taking theoath…made no attempt to stop the boy I never saw any parent let a kid get away w/such antics!. Many of the guys running now have had girlfriends & will never marry them. Also, I know with New Hampshire, polls are getting a bad rap, but Hillary was outpolling him. When she announced in February, early March figures had her down by 3 points. By early April, she was ahead by 8%. He dropped out at the end of the month, right after blowing off potential voters in Rochester to attend a Yankees game.

I might add that this was also right after the Clintons moved to New York, when voters were less likely to support her because they feared that she wasn't a New Yorker.

This one time I went to NYC to see if I could score some sweet tickets to the monster truck fight in Chicago that weekend. I was walking down the street looking for the guy who sold me peanuts the last time I was in the city (I really liked peanuts with that special peanut sauce on them). Someone told me he had moved and that if I wanted peanuts then I'd have to go to the baseball park. Well, needless to say, the baseball park was blue. It was so crowded that I couldn't see the pidgeons that were going to buy me the peanuts. All of a sudden everyone started to leave the baseball park where they were playing the soccer game. Well, all he did was conduct a full and impartial investigation of the voting results and machines used in Ohio in 2004. The machines were fine and Bush still won the state by 118,000 votes.

A quick math lesson for Chris. Of course the "total count" is the bottom line. No one would disagree. If 100 million votes are tabulated and Rudy wins by 8 pts., then guess what? It means he had a higher vote count than the other guy!!

Our federal government is killing us all. Giuliani (and most of the others) has no plan to achieve peace, or to ever stop spending billions of dollars on other countries. He has no plan, first of all, to stop sending billions of dollars to support the military dictator in Pakistan. We are internationally hated more than ever, only now we are also hated by non-Muslims countries, and Giuliani would make things worse for Americans. He also has absolutely no plans to stop borrowing money from China. England's standard of living is now higher than ours for the first time since the 19th Century, and Giuliani's dreams for military expansion would certainly place a huge financial burden on the tax payer. He also has no decent plan to balance the budget because you can't balance a budget when you are planning on a multi-billion-dollar military expansion, and we can't balance the budget until we stop borrowing money. We are not rich, we live on credit, and what will happen when we can no longer make those interest payments? Giuliani is not fiscally responsible and he could be the worst mistake we ever make. And he is NOT alone, it is time voters in this country to wake and do their homework.

Rudy was done form the start, He did not seam to want to want hard enough to win. His idea of missing in Iowa and NH was a terribe idea for someone that wanted to become President.

With this revelation, it really should make supporters wonder if Rudy will have enough money to make it to Super Dooper Tuesday in February. Rudy should be talking more about his previous experience as a U.S. Attorney; who did he prosecute and his successes and failures there. What specifically did Rudy do in New York that made it better? How was it recieved by those that live and work there? Did he work with the city council to get it done in a bipartisan fashion? If not, then how does he expect to work with Congress?

If all Rudy talks about is September of 2001, then he is flogging a dead horse. He did an okay job that day and for the weeks after, but nothing he did really got the city ready for an attack like that. Forsight is something the next president should have. If he keeps say that we need to be on the "offense in the war on terror," then he needs to relook at "the war." It will need more than just soldiers and marines to go and fight large battles just in one country. There needs to be other aspects that support our friends and changes minds.

If you can give me Barack Oboma vs. either Giuliani or Fred Thompson, I will not care about the election this year. Oboma is a bad ass and so is Giuliani and Fred. If you have liberal view vote Giuliani and if you have conservative views then vote Fred... McCain is not a badass and ran very divisive campaigns when he ran for senate. Huckabee is like a republican version of Howard Dean (He says stupid things). Ron Paul is just planning on running as a third party and probably gets money from MoveOn.soros and other extreme organizations (even if he is serious he does not represent the ideas of democrats enough for me to vote for him.).

Your done Rudy...your strategy is helping both John McCain and Mike Huckabee. My opinion is Ruby and Romney are finished in this race. Thompson and Huckabee may stick it out for a while but will eventually fade and drop out. Who wins the nomination and presidency? John McCain and Joe Lieberman will beat Obama and hjis running mate Edwards handily.

Huckabee was on CNN this morning and said he didn't release that convicted serial rapist- he just paroled him. Parole and release many the same thing! And of course the CNN lady just sat there and didn't call him on it. What sorority did you get her from???
