(CNN) — If you're a presidential candidate, showing affection toward your spouse in front of the cameras is often a tricky affair. CNN's Jeanne Moos reports some candidates are more comfortable with PDA than others.

Woooooooooooo some might think its sinful to kiss.

Carol B., Maryland   January 11th, 2008 4:24 pm ET

They're a happy couple and it seems sincere, so let them be. Not sure which Dem I'm voting for yet. There's ANOTHER different Carol who posts on here (if that's her real name) who's a Hillary fanatic. I hope Hill has good security!!!

john williams san diego, ca.   January 11th, 2008 4:22 pm ET

sorry wayne, by bars i didn't mean alcoholic bars. And Roger just keeps making those left wing loons fume.

Carrie   January 11th, 2008 4:13 pm ET

Jeanne Moos has the funniest reports. Love it!

To the people complaining, there is tons of serious reports about the election on the internet. Go read one, lighten up!

Obama/Edwards 08

YES WE CAN!!

either Mineapolis airport or a bar in downtown Greenville.

Shows how little you know, John. Greenville is in a dry county - there ARE no bars in Greenville.

BTW, how's your former mayor/criminal Roger Hedgecock doing these days???

Boxer3   January 11th, 2008 1:55 pm ET

That staged kiss, attempting to show that Gore had some personality, was a nice preview for 8 years later when we see Hillary stage a tear to show that she has something besides ice in her veins.

WHO THE HELL CARES IF CANDIDATES KISS THEIR SPOUSES!

Is this how intellectually stunted our country has become?

Paul, Maxwell AFB, AL   January 11th, 2008 1:28 pm ET

Dan,,,

All I can say about a Hillary/Bill kiss…

Ewwwwwwww !!!! Just thinking of them breaking sweat makes me naucious…

Ca Native   January 11th, 2008 1:21 pm ET

Spouses show their love through emotional support, shared time, and FIDELITY. Kissing on camera is nothing more than a photo-op.

California voter   January 11th, 2008 12:57 pm ET

Is this news? I know it's difficult sometimes to fill the time when there is 24/7 reporting, but this is plain silly.

Why doesn't the media start confronting the candidates with questions that really let us know the person who is running and what they stand for — especially Obama who thus far remains an enigma. Ask him directly about his membership in the Trinity United Church of Christ. Does he support the tenets of that particular church. You've asked Romney about his religion? With Hillary Clinton you've spent days discussing did she or didn't she cry and were they real tears. We need to know more about all the front runners before we vote. Most of us will not get a chance to meet the candidates like the voters in Iowa and New Hampshire. Do your duty as a free press and quit making us stories like this!!

Jeff from Jersey   January 11th, 2008 12:23 pm ET

If I didn't know better that looks more like Hillary and Richardson or maybe Huckabee lip-locking there.Hard to tell.Romney has better hair.

I'd like to see Dr.Phil and Rudy kiss. You'd have to go to the Hair Club for Men to catch that one.Rmney has better hair.

John Round Rock - Then what are YOU doing here?Don't you have anything better to do?

Isnt' this, like, really OLD news? Don't you people have anything better to do - like go be brainwashed by soaps and political correspondents dictating your lives.""

Better question is why you get so fired up over these blogs and ticker stories. I guess you feel as though you independently assess the accuracy and validity of every comment and story that you COME ACROSS. In the end, you cannot assess the accuracy of anything, and must make form your own opinion based on feeling and previous experience. These little half paragraphs may be interesting or of valuable to some people. You also seem to think there is always a right and wrong way to do something or assess value. In conclusion, you should get a life and realize not everyone shares your interests and convictions. There is no proof anyone is actually affected by any of these SNIPPETS. Stories like these don't even phase most people, but are only used for context or circumstance. Oh, and relax.

samuel ehis irabor   January 11th, 2008 12:06 pm ET

i see your pic and i wish for the trillionth time that Al Gore had become American President. With that some of Bush's obnoxious policies would only have been in the realm of our collective fantasy. i'd like to see Barak and michelle kiss as he becomes the next president of the united states. this is my utmost wish. sam , zaria, nigeria.

Walt, Belton, TX   January 11th, 2008 12:01 pm ET

The big question is will Bill actually kiss Hillary or just fake it like he does their marriage……………..

Taylor   January 11th, 2008 12:00 pm ET

Why is this news?

veronica   January 11th, 2008 11:55 am ET

I think this is old news, and largely irrelevant. Can we talk about the stands on the issues please?

(By the way, I see nothing wrong with a kiss between spouses. It seems like rather normal behavior to me).

JBell, Atwater, CA January 11, 2008 11:26 am ET

I'd like to see Rove and Larry Craig kiss.

To see that, you'd have to hang out in the mens room at the Minneapolis Airport.

Aaron Smithsburg, Maryland   January 11th, 2008 11:38 am ET

I doubt that Hillary and Bill have any problem holding back their unbridled passion for each other. If you see them lip-locking its because a consultant or think-tank has found some poll or demographic that would be swayed by their well choreographed smooching spectacle. These two are cold and calculating. Their old CIA coke mules for Bush SR. back in Mena, Arkansas. They are actors, nothing more. Move on nothing to see here. By the way did you file your taxes last year?

frank   January 11th, 2008 11:38 am ET

why waste everybody's time and this space for such a boring story
get real and get a life- who cares!

DR   January 11th, 2008 11:33 am ET

Al Gore is about as interesting as a 20 lb. bag of fertilizer.

And please, no kisses between Bill and Hillary — that would be as phony as phoney gets!

Attacks by the Establishment   January 11th, 2008 11:32 am ET

You have to wonder where the weirdos are in the Democratic Party. They come out to march in San Fran but guess they are not allowed to get on stage during campaign season and make immoral jestures, etc.

It might have something to do with the number of votes they would get!

JBell, Atwater, CA   January 11th, 2008 11:26 am ET

I'd like to see Rove and Larry Craig kiss.

J Williamson Buffalo, NY   January 11th, 2008 11:26 am ET

I well remember that GREAT kiss between Al and Tipper Gore during the 2000 Democratic convention. As I watched with Mom (who at that point was unsure about whom she's vote for) said, "Wow! Now THAT's a kiss!" I couldn't help but laugh and, of course, Mom voted for Gore (as did I and most of the rest of the country, but that's another blog!)

Randolph Monroe, Chicago   January 11th, 2008 11:24 am ET

I'd like to see Hillary kiss Bill…and not look or go "ewww yuck" afterwards.

I'd like to see Barack and Michelle kiss, just because I'd like to see her get kissed, she's a very beautiful woman.

Dan, NJ   January 11th, 2008 11:12 am ET

We will probably see Bill and Hillary kiss soon.

Trish   January 11th, 2008 11:10 am ET

Lol, that Jay Leno reenactment of Al Gore's smooches was too funny

S Williams, Tampa   January 11th, 2008 11:10 am ET

Get a room.

Comedy Queen   January 11th, 2008 10:46 am ET

Gives a whole new meaning to the term "lip service". But seriously folks, make love-not war. Passion is wonderful!
