(CNN) — Michigan Republican primary voters aren't just divided on which presidential candidate to support — they're split on their opinion of the current president’s administration as well. According to new exit polling, 52 percent feel good about the job the Bush White House is doing, while 48 percent say they aren't happy with it. Michigan's sluggish economy may be a major reason nearly half of the state's Republican voters aren't pleased, with more than two-thirds saying they thought economic conditions were poor. Primary voters are more enthusiastic about the war in Iraq, however — 60 percent said they currently approve of the conflict. – CNN Ticker Producer Alexander Mooney Filed under: Michigan President Bush |
