Ty, It can't get much worse than it is now..

1. our country is at war, and our military is over-extended
2. our president absolutely refuses to listen to reason and is now trying to pick a fight with Iran, despite the NIE proving that Iran gave up its nuclear weapons program in 2003.
3. our country is in debt up to its eyeballs
4. the economy is about to take a dive due to the housing bubble created by Bush's big idea to spark the economy by having the fed lower rates too low for too long.
5. the world opinion of our country has never been worse

THE ONLY REAL REPUBLICAN RUNNING FOR PRESIDENT IS RON PAUL !!!!!!!

Support Ron Paul for president 2008!

I'm sick of the McCain-loving media rhetoric, painting McCain as the "real" candidate, the "straight-talker" and Romney as the "fake", the "phony", "pandering" to voters. It is absolute hogwash! Romney is the most real and capable candidate, and that fact has the media and the dems scarred stiff. Romney can win this thing. McCain has flip-flopped numerous times, he even flip-flopped on his first wife. I know it is almost taboo to talk about but nothing tells more about a person's character than his personal life. There is no way Romney could have raised a cohesive and well-adjusted family like his if he was an immoral person.

Looking forward to celebrating General Robert E. Lee's birthday on Saturday the 19th with a victory for Ron Paul in South Carolina.

Only two candidates for the conservatives know enough about history to get the vote in South Carolina and Ron Paul is one of them. Even though he is from North of the Mason-Dixon Line, he is fully aware of the 10th Amendment and that the South was denied its right to secession.

Those who attack Dixie will not win!

Ty: "If you vote a Democrat into office there's going to be TERROR!! TERROR TERROR TERROR! 9/11! You don't want TERROR 9/11 AL QUEDA TERROR TERROR TERROR do you?!!?!?"

I'm voting DEMOCRAT not so much because I'm enthusiastic about their ideas, so much as that I'm enthusiastically AGAINST the Republicans -- both the double-digit-IQ'd trailer park variety such as Ty here, as well as the criminal Rovian ones who take advantage of group A's ignorance in order to line their pockets. As Ty demonstrates, this administration's fear mongering only really affects the weak minded, ignorant, and delusional, as much as they'd like to think otherwise.

And regarding the economy. I don't know if the Democrats will be anymore helpful than the Republicans have been, but one thing's for certain -- they certainly can't be any more destructive than the Republicans have been over the past eight years.

Well CNN did no better yesterday; they had Fred Thompson on a couple times, kept saying he finished a strong "4th last night" when he was a distant 5th, behind Ron Paul.

So far Americans say they want change, meanwhile they're voting for the status quo: in Iowa they went for the man of faith in Huckabee; in New Hampshire, where people are apparently against the war, voted for warmonger McCain and then in Michigan, where those jobs will never come back, it was all wishful thinking as they voted for the guy who promised the most with the biggest smile on his face in Mitt Romney.

Americans clearly do not have the proper skills at discerning who is right for this moment in time. The best and most intelligent candidates are either out of the race or on the fringes while we remain undecided about our status quo ones who are curiously all sounding more alike everyday. The 2006 vote was about getting out of Iraq and now the Democrats left in the race will leave troops here and there and everywhere, won't shut down the bases, won't abandon the huge and wasteful billion dollar embassy in Iraq that's the size of the Vatican.

As long as we remain in denial about the fact that it's our meddling in the Middle East that has caused us all these problems, the longer we'll remain vulnerable to terrorism.

Angela, I will vote for a mormon. You won't vote for Romney just because he is a mormon. Do you know how narrow minded and ignorant that shows you?

You vote for a candidate for his leadership skill, his experience of solving problems, will he be able to lead this country forward? Does he know how to create new jobs? Does he have experience of governing a state? Is he intelligent? How much education does he have? Is he a moral person. Those are the questions you need to focus on, not because he is a mormon.

Romney turned the corrupted olympic around in 2002, he helped many struggling business became profitable, he governed the state of MA, he is extremely intelligent. He graduated from Harvard with a doctorate degree and he received his master degree with honor also from Harvard, and he is the only man in the republican party that has one wife. Don't all these tell you something about a person?

None of other candidates has all these qualities. Mccain, Rudy, Fred Thompson, Hillary, obama, and John Edward has never beeno governing a state. Huckabee had that experience, but no experience with the business sector. I can go on and on, but my point is Romney is the most qualify candidate out there.

Go Romney, I will vote for a mormon.

I don't understand how someone can be so involved in US politics to go to the trouble of posting blogs on CNN political ticker and think that Mitt Romney is fit to run our country. Brainwashed, that's all I can come up with.

Romney probably confused them when he showed up to speak looking like a regular candidate instead of one of the guys setting in an Ivory Tower spinning gold. It was the first time I can remember seeing him where every hair was not superglued in place. He looked human instead of like a Ken-doll, I was pleasantly surprised.

"And since the Democratic candidate will win in November, why should any of us Democrats care squat about YOUR opinion????"

I can't wait to have a Democratic candidate in the White House. When it happens, all your delusional Democratic(liberal, left-wing, sissy) eyes will be opened. Not only will the US be attacked by terrorists again, the president will drive our country into the ground. It will be worse off than it is now.

Adam
That's about as dumb as it gets!Non-voting won't change a single thing either. Some one will get elected and the machine will roll along anyway.True it sucks and no matter what the candidates say, especially Obama the con artist, none of them will be allowed to change it either. The machine's main task is to protect itself at all costs and it will crush anyone tht tries to stop it.

The only way to stop corporate america and it's political hacks, hort of armed innsurrection is to stop consumer spending on a grand scale.Look at the fear the government, the banks and the rest of corporate america is feeling right now.The economy is headed toward a recession and they are so desperate to stop it that they are willing to sell out to foreign governments to bring cash into the economy so people will start spending again. If we all just stop spending corporate america can be brought to its knees. They're trying desperately to figure out how to get us to start spending again.

Vote for the person you think will do the least harm to us,our country and our freedom and just keep your wallet closed.Money is the only thing they understand. It's their lifes blood and they are desperate when they don't have lots of it.Sure we'll suffer but they will suffer worse. They will weaken. They will lose power and they will die.APRIL 15TH SHOULD BE TAX REVOLT DAY FOR OUR WHOLE COUNTRY!We should en masse withold every penny from the gvernment, live with 3 cell phones instad of six, watch your 27" flat scren tv instead of getting the new jumbotron for the living room.Syop driving whenever you can. They are already in a panic so now would be a perfect time to cutoff our spending. They'll have to stop spending on pork barrel items and stop spending a billion dollars every day in I raq while people lose their homes and savings.

Mitt great Victory and keep pushing forward. Your tenacity coupled with your constant optimism is what our Country needs right now. I can't take Harry Reid, and Nancy Pelosi Sanfransisco values.l They are killing our fabric of our Country!
Mitt Romney in 2008!

Mitt Romney great man and even greater leader! He inspires me and my family to be better Americans. I will always be thankfull for Mitt and his family putting themselves out their to make America an even safer and more prosperous nation.
Every time I see his family at an event I think of the stress and lack of privacy that they endure. They are just great people who deserve our respect regardless of where you may stand on the issues!

Read my lips. Does anyone really believe the politikers around election time? They have teams of people working to learn what just might get their candidate elected. For me, I look to see just what they really did, in their positions, three or more years back. What they did, counts. What they espouse, is mere conjecture, to get elected.

All those who like to call Romney a flip-flopper are just using name calling out of convenience. It doesn't take a lot of independent thought to just repeat incorrect information that people like to use to try and make him appear something he is not. He has been open about his change on the ABORTION issue. He changed his position on what the role of government should be. He was always personally pro-life and vetoed legislation that would have expanded abortion rights and provided funding for it . He has never changed his position on GAY MARRIAGE. He was always a strong advocate against discrimination, but he also made one of the boldest stands in the country against gay marriage in Mass. Besides turning around the economy as governor, he made similar stands against immigration and terrorism. His campaign message has been consistent with his record as governor. You don't have to like him and you don't have to vote for him, but to call him a flip-flopper is simply a false characterization.

It looks more and more like Romney will be President. Democratic candidates are all a joke - compare their resumes to that one of Mitt or McCain. The Dems are like 5th graders!
What my concern is, however, is that Romney talks for educated adults, while others seem to pander to a common Joe. That's no way to win a primary, let alone general election. Dumb things down a little, Mitt!

Romney is only man with the experience, skills, leadership, and morals to get the job done. He has more delegates and popular vote by a huge lead than any other candidate. He will continue to roll and will become the nominee. He is the only one who is competitive in all states and campaigns in all states- not cherry picking. You are the man, Mitt. We support you overseas!

Reps its time to be realistic at who can win in November. McCain's ties to Bush and the war, not to mention lack of economic understanding, disqualify him. Huckabee the minister, enough said. ROMNEY is our clear candidate!!! The longer the media and Dems deter us from this conclusion, the better the chances Hillary or Obama have in November.
We need to get behind our candidate now and build momentum for a victory in November!
GO MITT, GO!!! GO MITT, GO!!!

LETS GO GOP, GET BEHIND THE BEST CANDIDATE NOW!

It's nice to know that "Ken" has a future; especially since he left "Barbie" and the rest of the gang.

Is it possible to get a candidate who doesn't look like an actor? Take a look at Romney's business record. While he has an impressive record as Governor, I am more concerned about his past as a corporate raider. These are the people who purchase a company, sell off the better parts of the company and then increase the unemployment in the area. I'm sure that when he was purchasing companies that he didn't care about the number of unemployed workers after he left town with money in his pocket.

We need a candidate of substance, not one who "looks pretty." Do we even have someone of substance?

Just so you know, if you happen to mention that Romney and every other leading candidate on both sides has taken millions of dollars from companies like big oil, big tobacco, the health care industry, and lots of others that don't have your interests in mind. This is NOT a fair election, we are being told which puppets we have to choose from, anyone who took less than a million in special interest cash is all but gone from the race (Ron Paul, Dennis Kucinich). Don't vote, Don't fund these groups with your tax dollars, we must demand change. If we have the same farce of an election with the same criminals we will get the same results.

Today, the following businessmen from Arkansas released a statement in support of former Arkansas Governor, Mike Huckabee: Scott T. Ford, President and CEO, Alltel Corporation; Warren A. Stephens, President and CEO, Stephens Inc.; Madison Murphy, Former Chairman, Murphy Oil Corporation; John Tyson, Chairman of the Board, Tyson Foods, Inc; and French Hill, Chairman and CEO, Delta Trust and Banking Corporation:

"We are a traditionally bi-partisan group of executives of several of the largest corporations headquartered in the State of Arkansas, each with considerable exposure to the Administration of Governor Mike Huckabee. Of late, Governor Huckabee has attracted what we believe to be unwarranted criticism regarding his business record."

"Our experience with Governor Huckabee indicates that he not only values greatly the freedoms of religion and liberty, but of the free market as well. He is an atypical leader who garnered the respect of not only the professional business community but of the working men and women across our State as well."

"When he became our Governor, he inherited our long sub-standard education system, infrastructure, and regulatory climate. "In our support of Governor Huckabee's truly conservative, small government business outlook and his pragmatic, yet compassionate style of governing, we invite you to look past the shallow rhetoric of yet another campaign season to see what we have experienced first hand - that with the right political leadership in place, businesses and citizens can jointly prosper and as they do, they contribute so much more to the economic and societal fabric of a community than simply tax revenues."

He is an atypical leader who garnered the respect of not only the professional business community but of the working men and women across our State as well."

sometime back, Mitt Romney accused rival Mike Huckabee of “channeling John Edwards”.
DOES Mitt knows what “channeling” means? WAKE UP people….This is a “new age” speaking.
A “real” Christian will not use this wording.
But then again, out of the fullness of the heart, the mouth speaketh.

Once again, the GOP proves how utterly wrong they can be. During the last seven years, they've proven how incredibly proficient they've become at being wrong. If you look up 'wrong' in the dictionary, you'll see GOP. I suppport their unending goal and tireless efforts at being wrong. I just wish that they weren't ruining the country and the economy while they're so busy being wrong.

I know I don't want a flip flopper and I put Huckabee in that list. He seems to change what he would do now compared to what he did as Governor of Arkansas. He has a bunch of one liners and I don't want a President that tries to be Leno or David Letterman. He has flip flopped on passing a bill about smoking. I don't think he should be "preaching" about Romney changing his mind. WHO HASN;'T CHANGED THEIR MINDS IN THEIR LIFETIME. If you haven't , then you should ascend to Heaven right now--because you are perfect.
I respect Mitt Romney and believe he would be the best for President of our country. People should do a little research. He wasn't handed over wealth. He got an education and used that education to build a company and used his head to take over bad companies and bring them back from bankruptcy. Has any of the other candidates done that? He turned the 2002 Olympics into the best , without any debt , than any other Olympics. He brought it back from deep problems and in debt. He has accomplished more than any other candidate out there. And I think those that call him names and so forth should look at the real facts instead of following people who say and write things just to get a rise from someone. Be smart and really learn about Romney . And yes he has been a Bishop and Stake president in the LDS church and he is a truthful, honest person. He didn't get any pay for the thousands of hours he served in his church. He spent as much or more time as any other minister of any other church and he also had a paying job he worked at the same time. How many of your other candidates can say that? I admire him for not bringing religion into this . He has not tried to get anyone to vote for him because of what church he belongs to. The people that support him realize he is a truthful, honest person .
The media hasn't given him much of a chance and he has still pushed forward with his campaign. He is not a quitter. He believes in what he is doing and will be honest to the people of this country.

How can anyone seriously be interested in voting for this bible-thumping idiot? I mean seriously, is it not enough that we have to put up with our current leader spewing his santa-claus-for-adults crap everytime he opens his mouth? Now you freaks want to put in someone who seriously believes that JC visited the states on a world-wide speaking tour or some crap. How can you guys take him seriously? At least with Christians you usually have someone who just pays lip-service to a religion, but a true Mormon (Romney) WILL obey his church leaders.

You people will never learn.

Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day; teach a man to fish and he will eat for a lifetime; give a man religion and he will die praying for a fish.

Did anyone in the media catch the Romney lie today? Romney knows he will lose in South Carolina, which explains why he runs to Nevada, but anyways, he made the argument today that he "was running in fourth in South Carolina", trying to limit expectations. There isn't ONE poll of South Carolina that has Romney in fourth. EVERY SINGLE ONE has Romney in third, without exception. So, Romney, who is running ads again today in SC, actively campaigning, is trying to frame a drop from third as acceptable. Can someone call the chameleon???

All polls are seriously flawed. With only 1000 or so people polled to represent the opinions of over 300 MILLION Americans is an INSULT to the INTELLIGENCE of the American voters. For over 60 years the media has been FALSELY telling the American voters who they should vote for to be on the WINNING TEAM. They should be ashamed of themselves for doing such an abominable dis-service to the American Public. The voters should be ashmed of themselves for accepting such flawed polls instead of checking the candidates Bios,Qualifications, and records for themselbes. Now that we have the internet it is easier than ever to LEARN THE TRUTH. Check out what the candidate stands for on his/her website or the congressional website ( THOMAS )or the DAV website. Then you will see through all the SMOKE & MIRRIORS that the only REASONABLE candidate is Fred Thompson who has been given virtually NO COVERAGE by the media. This is not a highschool POPULARITY CONTEST for the king and queen of the prom. The future of your COUNTRY depends on you making the best choice not the most popular choice according to the media. I know it hurts for a little while but THINK PEOPLE. A few minutes of mental pain verses 4 to 8 years of physical, mental, and Financial SUFFERING and possible Complete Disaster. This is what you have to decide NOT if you will be on the WINNING TEAM. Time to GROW UP.

I am so sick of the words seperation of church and state being thrown around without any true concept of the founders intent. The idea was NOT to keep religion out of government it was exactly the opposite, to keep government out of religion.

The founders had no intention of keepign religious values and concepts out of government. The whole point was to make sure governments, both Federal and state, kept out of religion. They wanted the ability to practice religious autonomy. This country was founded by a large number of people who were seeking religious freedom.

The idea that the founders were creating a government that they wanted insulated from religion is laughable. All you have to do is look at practically everything issued by the government, from money, "In God we Trust", to traditions in the Senate (that's right folks...they pray!!!).

Seperation of church and state is a phrase that has been misinterpreted and bastardized for decades.
