Really, do you think American people are so stupid?
You state that you didn't vote for the invasion of Iraq; cannot even admit you even read the national security memos but you sure were "briefed" on them. Is that what MANAGEMENT is to you? You didn't even take responsibility for allowing Bob Johnson to act so arrogant at your campaign event. You didn't respect the Dem Party by taking your name off the MI ballot; the list goes on….

We are not dumb. We will hold you accountable.

My family and friends have been following the 2008 Presidential election and I feel overwhelming compelled to comment and express our sadness, disgust and anger after witnessing the continued unfair disturbing treatment that Senator Clinton continually receives from CNN. I was an avid follower until the daily gender discrimination and horrible names Senator Clinton is called, forced my family and friends to look else where for our news reporting. The media has dropped the ball. We the viewers and most importantly the voters looked to news stations and newspapers for unbiased FACTS about ALL the presidential candidates to assist voters on making a wise and educated decision on who will run our country. Unfortunately we see your just biased and often racial tabloid news It’s a disservice to our great country that you attack and discriminate a white female Senator and Former First lady who has done a great deal of good in 35 years of political service to our country that is dismissed and ignored for fear of upsetting a black candidate and his racial supporters. You should be ATLEAST reporting the differences and giving obama the same microscopic personal attacks that you continue to do to a white female United States Senator. You have no credibility in reporting the news. If we wanted this type of so-called news, we can buy the National Enquire.
Thank you for your time.

Evidently, John Edwards missed the message. When asked how he felt about 68% of the black Michigan vote going to 'uncommitted,' he replied; really?, "I didn't know that." Bold face liars should not pass Go or collect $200. Jeez, he didn't even 'TRY' to cover it up.

John S. Maine   January 16th, 2008 11:01 pm ET

The message that Michigan sent America is so clear. We do need change and Mitt Romney is the man to accomplish it.

Michigan stated that we do stand for the Republican ideals that will make Michigans economy strong and vibrant again. They yearn for the hope and wisdom that Mitt Romney conveys. Thay are tired of empty promises from Washington Insiders who just cant get the job done for what ever reason.

Mitt Romney is such a honest, intelligent and incredibly talented candidate to represent the Republican party as its nominee. I have been supporting Mitt Romney since his first campaign against Ted Kennedy back in 1994. Mitt Romney and his family are the real deal. He will defeat what ever candidate is nominated by the Democrats or Independents including Bloomberg.

If you have not taken a close look at Mitt Romney I urge you to do so now. Go to Mitt Romney.com. and research his true record of professional and personal accomplishments. Then sleep on it and then tell me what you think!

Who will be ready on Day One for a terrorist attack? Well, considering Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton both deny that Islamic terrorism is a threat , no way would I trust them with our safety.

Kenny Thakes   January 16th, 2008 11:49 pm ET

Who cares what Karl Rove says? He's a has been.

Chuck   January 17th, 2008 12:08 am ET

Wolf: Why don't you and your pundants sacrifice a little time for other candidates besides Clinton and her old man??

Just now reading comments and I notice three stories on Clinton and one on Obama and guess what "0″ for Edwards.

The attacks keep coming and your station (CNN) keeps fanning the flames.

Man give it up and get back to politics and an "HONEST" coverage of the elections.

This junk with Rove is unbelievable. It just astonishes me that you even give the CROOK coverage at all. Who would believe him anyways after his false statements and early departure for the Bush party, but heck no you at CNN think it is news worthy what he has to say… Please!!!!!!!!!!!!!

S.K.M. Boston Mass   January 17th, 2008 1:48 am ET

Who will be best prepared to handle a terrorist attack on day one? It's a ridiculous question that Hillary Rodham Clinton has put out. It's the tactic of fear combined with smear, as seen by her claim that Obama is going to raise taxes on the middle class. Seen again by her criticism of Obama for supporting the 2005 energy bill which, as factcheck notes, has been demonized to look like a giveaway to oil companies. But to stear back to the question of who will be best prepared, that is a question that could only be handled if all of the candidates swore under oath to bring "so and so" into their team and cabinet.. which is all but impossible at this stage of the campaign. To suggest that Hillary is best prepared requires the suspension of disbelief due to her lack of experience on anything related to anti-terrorism. Infact, her experience all around is rather exaggerated and she is constantly given a pass on it. Let's get the facts straight on those 35 years. She was the First Lady of Arkansas for 12 years. She was First Lady of the U.S. for 8 years. During those years, she did not work with emergency-response services. Before those years, for those other 8 years of experience that she cites, she was a lawyer. She has been a Senator for 7 years. There are two reasons for why some people actually believe she would be most ready to deal with a terrorist attack. The first reason is the media recycling her talking points and the second reason is that she's married to Bill Clinton.

#2DONT VOTE FOR HILLARY CLINTON IF YOU ARE AN OUTDOORSMAN OR WOMAN. TAKING OUR FIREARMS AWAY WILL LEAVE US UNABLE TO DEFEND OUR FAMILIES AND OUR PROPERTY. When will people realize that GUNS DONT KILL PEOPLE …DUMB ASS PEOPLE KILL PEOPLE. Id vote for WillieNelson or even Glenn BECK before id vote for the LIARS THAT THEY GAVE US TO CHOOSE FROM.

Donah LPdGC   January 17th, 2008 7:10 am ET

Stupid me again…:-
If NO'BAHMA will make such a great CEO for America why then has HE never been mentioned in CNN's Board Room ??? 'Made me wonder why so many little folks on Stateside want HIM as the yet unborn Wholy Cleaner Upper for Bush's Mess…. Do I smell another DC..??? Donah////

Albert sunday   January 17th, 2008 7:32 am ET

All i have to say is that hillary clinton seems to think that, using a volatile tone and attacks in which ever means will help her win the race, without a clear cut policy of are campaign.just attack and attack.just after pleging to down tone, the next is to attack bush and now barrack again. That is not the kind of thing we need in this election.

Chaunda   January 17th, 2008 8:12 am ET

Jackie, I have to assume you are a republican because to imply Hillary is more for gun control than Obama is ridiculous.
Chuck, I have to think that if you are an Obama supporter you must love all the negative attention the press has given Hillary and her husband.
I hope if you are a democrat you will look past the media's attempt to create more controversy and stick with a spirited debate of the issues. This does not mean there will not be contrast between candidates but I hope the people who have spew hatred, anger and personal attacks in these commentaries will take a step back, take a deep breath and begin supporting their candidate instead of denigrating the others. Otherwise I will continue to suspect you of being Republicans trying to splinter the party.
The media is very much trying to create controversy by using words like "attacking" and "targeted". Guess what? Candidates are going to compare and contrast with each and they have all done it. If they did not they would not be much of a candidate.

mike   January 17th, 2008 8:58 am ET

Steve– hillary and john are courtroom lawyers, need i say more… As far as Rove goes, he and hillary have the same old dirty politics. Good thing she is a democrat. JEEEZE

Marna   January 17th, 2008 9:06 am ET

Its almost time for Clinton to lose in Nevada.

We workers of the Culinary's Union are fighting for you Barak. It is time for change and the end to borders. There is no United States. there is no Mexico. We are all humans and deserve to get paid the same amount of money. There are no rich or poor we will all be the same with Obama and we will not be taken advantage of anymore! The teachers here are suing us because they are jealous and they no that they are going to lose. They think that just because they went to college that they are better than us? Their time is over for the Democratic Party. The Culinary Workers and Service Workers Union are the new power house in the party and we will get equal wages to the teachers when Barak is the new president.

Viva Obama!

John   January 17th, 2008 9:43 am ET

None of the candidates Dems or Reps are ready for a terror attack. None have been in on the intelligence Breifings since this campaign started. All will need to be brought up to speed by the security services. Trying to invoke fear is one of Bushes favorite ploys and it seems Clinton is following suit. Frankly Terrorism don't give me cause to fear the roads are more dangerous than the terrorists and have killed many times the 9/11 toll every YEAR since.

Sabrina   January 17th, 2008 9:44 am ET

jackie, You are right, guns do not kill, only the person behind the gun! Hillary will not take your guns away from you . Chuck, Wolf sacrifices all his time on the Clinton because they are for Obama, Cnn hardly ever says anything nice about them, so maybe Edwards is lucky. Obama good and the Clintons bad. Myfeelings are they should be far to all the candidates. I am a Hillary fan and would love to them have to say Madame President Go Hill.

Danny   January 17th, 2008 10:12 am ET

"Who will be ready on day one to handle a terrorist attack?"

Absolutely sickening. Now CNN is parroting Hillary Clinton's right-wing fear-mongering talking point. You've honestly gotten as bad as FOX. Just because you do it for the Clinton's doesn't make it "better".

So, CNN=Politics Daily, on Jan 17th is featuring results from a two day old Michigan primary, a disgusting political attack from Clinton dating back a week ago, Huckabee's mindboggling comments about the Constitution from 4 days ago, and a union endorsement that's been known about for 2 weeks. I can get more up to date daily news from a newspaper.

Rob   January 17th, 2008 10:17 am ET

Edwards is a big zero;when all is said and done he can fall back on ambulance chasing.

gary   January 17th, 2008 10:27 am ET

I think that if the candidates do not wish to be scrutinized and claim melodramitically that they have been unfairly targeted (Clinton) you should not be running it's all part of the process and obviously if their is smoke thier is fire.

hmmm...OKLAHOMA   January 17th, 2008 11:03 am ET

I believe that the voting system in this country is fatally flawed. Delegates, just as the Electoral College, really serve to rob the majority of American people of what they actually want. Although, often times, the people in both of these electing parties will go with the candidate of their states' choice, they also have the option not cast a vote for their states' decision on a candidate. Yes, they may face possible penalties from the people (ie. not being re-elected), but the damage is still done if their decision translates into either a party nomination or a presidential win. Honestly, I wonder why this isn't reported on more often…the media tends to "over-hype" the importance of the average person's vote in the race, rather than pointing out that no matter the outcome of the race, the American people lose every time. I call the the voting process "rigged for the establishment." Our people don't choose the president, our government does.

pam Eugene OR   January 17th, 2008 11:12 am ET

I can't believe anyone would say CNN is not for Clinton. Top story this morning a big fluff piece about Hillary being nice to the reporters. It was just 2 short days ago when a truce was agreed to with Clinton and Obama and Clinton didn't even wait 1 day to break it. There are several stories on the ticker about her attacking his management style. You know what Barack is doing? He is campaigning and talking about his issues and plans for America. We don't see those stories. I think CNN bends over big time for Clinton. I want to hear about their plans not "slamming attacking and bashing".
Please CNN stick to the news.

I would love to see the invitation list (to the White House) from Obama. The first invitee is Oprah and guest (WE ALL KNOW IT WILL BE GAIL KING)

Why don't we just elect another country leader. No matter what, we would be better off…

Bush to Obama! nice hand off…. (what a joke)

Jerry   January 17th, 2008 4:21 pm ET

I would've liked the same treatment here in Iowa that Nevada gets this stuff like this makes you ashamed of the politics of the hole thing.

USC Trojans   January 19th, 2008 7:26 pm ET

Huckabee has told South Carolina voters that he supports the confederate flag and supports South Carolina flying the confederate flag. Does that mean that he supports slavery, racism, and the southern United States suceeding from the northern United States. How does he get away with saying these things. He has so many radical beliefs. He has supports a quarantine of people with AIDS (reguardless of how they contracted it or if they are little kids), criticizes people for their religious beliefs, claims to be the new Christian leader, wants to ammend the constitution to what he thinks God's will is, and now supports the confederate flag. I don't know how he is still one of the main contenders for the republican presidential primary. I just hope people see him for who he really is. A minister running for President with radical beliefs.
