Hey Truth hurts,

I'm a war veteran, I want to point out that serving does not give you a stronger opinion then anyone else like people who have not served. I want you to actually think about how many times did you get the opportunity to think for yourself in the military. The military gives you blinders, you follow pace with the people around you. It is great that you served, but it in no way trumps anyone elses opinion, if that is what you think then I argue that your service is unneeded because people serve the military to protect the rights that this country gives, such as the right for free speech.

Military service does not give your opinion higher precedent.

Interesting Magic! It's unfortunate because so many people are misled. Ca native, I am sorry, but the polls aren't showing most African Americans are supporting Obama, actually, the polls show that they are supporting Hillary, mostly because of celebrities and past civil rights leaders who are endorsing Hillarya nd spitting the same crap about experience. I am just wondering how does being married to a President give you experience?

My husband is a partner in a law firm, does that mean I can go and try a case in front of a judge and jury now? I am just kidding, but maybe not, I would love to make some extra money since I don't have to go to school and I can just gain experience through osmosis. Hmmmm...what a concept. Just like G. W. Bush gained expereince through his father. Hell, let's not even hold elections, or have colleges / training programs, let's just give everyone credit for their family member's work. That would really help the economy!

Our “First Black President” showing off the finest in the African American community. First they gave us the lovely Bob Johnson, whose greatest gift to the world was BET. Full of booty shaking, gansta rap videos, and his excuse for this was “well it is entertainment.” Now we have the man who was so irresponsible, while being promiscuous he didn’t even where a condom. So he is our lovely poster child for HIV/AIDS. Brilliant. I hope the African American community is watching and NEVER forgives the Clintons for this type display. We will abandon you Hillary, oh no not the Democratic party but YOU for this type of race baiting. First Men vs. Women, Blacks vs. Whites, now Blacks vs. Latinos? You will NOT BE FORGIVEN.

Bottom line is Obama is a man who will and can unite this country. Remember “United we stand divided we fall”. Hillary has proven that she can divide people. A lot of people question if Obama could unite and lead America. LOOK at the votes. Who would have ever thought it would take Bill and Hillary to go after him. It’s my opinion that the Hillary camp started the “RACE” deal. I don’t think her camp is considering our children. If you look around you, the “face” of America is changing. We see more and more bi-racial children. Did she ever stop to think of the impact this makes on the children and young adults that are watching CNN?
I was on the fence about who to vote for earlier on however, the very answer that she tore apart was the answer that made up mind. She criticized Obama for thinking about issues without quick responses or answers. I think a smart leader will have experts around them with diverse backgrounds (educational) to assist in the decision making process. Who want “another” president who thinks they know it all and make rash decisions”? Isn’t that how we rushed to war? We can’t have change with the same players!! I don’t really care who endorse who and what race a person is, I want someone who will think about the “little people”.
A little note, people say the republicans will tear Obama apart, hummmm I think they can blow Hillary up. If she wins the primary I think a lot of democrats won’t vote in the general election!!!

I am really sick of seeing Bill Clinton-enough of him already. He had his 8 years.
give it a REST.Dragging voters from one precinct to another to caucus, how does he know that they didnt already cast a vote?
He has no ETHICS. He is in the way of real CHANGE. 4 more years of the Clintons is,too, much for me to take. God Bless America.

Being a New Yorker living on the Canadian Border, I can say Hillery as a Senator has done nothing to make my life better............in fact, when you live this far north, to our supposed representatives, you are basically considered living in Quebec.

Right now, I will support Obama. If Clinton wins the nomination, I will vote Republican.

She moved to NY so she could run for the Senate even tho there was a race in Arkansas. Was that because she couldn't get elected there? and NYers would be stupid enough to vote for her?

I don't want to spend the next few years hearing about the "right wing conspiracy" against her!

Magic Johnson may have done a lot for HIV/AIDs awareness, but I believe a lot of HIV sufferers resent Magic. It is painfully onvious that because of his vast wealth, he has been able to prolong his life YEARS past the typical survival rate of HIV infected people. The average Joe cannot afford the special treatment that Magic has undergone. Face it people, if Magic wasn't rich he would have passed away a decade ago!

I guess it is typical of Hitlary to pander to the African American voters with someone like Magic.

Hitlary Clinton = Bad for America

IS MR. OBAMA RUNNING AGAIN? Mr. Clinton or Miss. Clinton?

I am REPUBLICAN and would like to ask everyone out there … WHO IS MR. OBAMA RUNNING AGAIN? Mr. Clinton or Miss. Clinton? This is the first time in history that one person must run against two people acting as one!

Honestly, all I see more of Mr. Clinton on the campaign then Miss. Clinton. How will she run the country if she cannot even campaign for herself? Or is it the Mr. Clinton will be running the country again??? Is this desperation of the Clinton's?

You know when someone does good things; every evil attacks them and will do ANYTHING to stop that person from doing good. Is it right for use to separate out family before we even leave the house? Well they are doing a great job at that, we as republicans now have an open door … Thank you to the Clinton's.

I will not vote for her..this country has more then 2 last names

First of all Charlotte, please learn what an apostrophe is, and how to use it to form a contraction. And if you need to, look up "(sic)" for its meaning.

But to answer your point: When the Clintons parade black supporters they are pandering because the Clintons are hypocirtical people who pander. When Obama displays white supporters it is not pandering because Obama is not a hypocrite who needs to pander.

Simple now, isn't it?

WHO IS MR.

Is this desperation of the Clintons?

You know when someone does good things; every evil attacks them and will do ANYTHING to stop that person from doing good. Is it right for use to separate out family before we even leave the house? Well they are doing a great job at that, we as republicans now have an open door … Thank you to the Clintons.

Obama has more experience as an elected official? I think it's a bit disingenuous to group together Obama's experience as a state illinois senator together with Hillary's experience as a New York Congressional senator and say that they are comparable. For one, you are allowed to duck out of voting on tough issues in the Illinois state senate and vote "present" as opposed to Yes or No, a luxury not afforded congressional senators that Obama took advantage of over 150 times as a state senator. It's quite easy to attack someone's voting record when you are not accountable to establish one for yourself. So, please, Hillary is the only Dem. candidate with the proper experience to rightfully change the mess created by 8 years of Bush.

And in regards to using celebreties to pander to different voting demographics, it's part of politics that every candidate employs so I think it is real hypocritical for all the Obama supporters in here to single out Hillary as if Barack, along with every other candidate running for President, isn't doing it themselves.

Who was that who got Oprah Winfrey to travel all around the country and speak on their behalf again?

Go Hillary!

Magic Johnson is not a basketball player. He retired from basketball back in the 90's. Now he's a very successful businessman who made a very smart decision when he decided to invest money in businesses located in inner-cities after the riots back in the 90's.

Of course his pitch on stage is leaning on his basketball fame, and it's completely irrelevant. I hate celebrity endorsements regardless of the political position.

Hillary Clinton -- and her husband -- do not preach solutions. They preach continued corruption and self-interest at a level that thoughtful Americans are thoroughly sick of . Only the most naive, foolish, or corrupt themselves persons could support a continuation of Clintonism and its message of hate and division.

For God's sake, people, send these repulsive dividers back into their well-deserved obscurity!

It's interesting how the Clintons get attacked for everything they do. Yet it's Obama who allowed a union to broadcast radio ads in Nevada calling Hillary "a disgrace." Can you imagine the charges of racism that would bombard the Clintons if one of Hillary's supporters ran an ad calling Obama a disgrace?

Such a double standard....so hypocritical.

Ashes, Thanks for pointing out Clinton is old. And experience does not equal a good leader.

Time for a new generation to run the country, what is being left to the inheriting generations is in shambles.

Is having Magic Johnson's endoresement a benefit or a liability? I believe the latter. What does he bring to politics that would lead someone to be swayed by his endorsement besides basketball metaphors?

Honestly, this is just one more incident that shows the abject desperation of the Clinton campaign. It seems as if the Clinton campaign said, "Obama has Oprah. We need a black face too. Who's out there?" <-- bad choice.

Note to Clinton: YOU LOOK DESPERATE!

Don't believe the hype. Obama was simple attributing the major change in America that Reagan represented while in office. That is undeniable. You only need to listen to the Republican candidates, McCain, Romney, Huckabee, Thompson and Giuliani. They invoke his name many times during debates. Who is the past Democratic president that Democratic candidates invoke the most? No Democratic candidate does except for Hillary Clinton. She uses Bill Clinton's name.

Democrats who support Hillary Clinton tend to look at Hillary's life and experience over the past 15 years only. There is a reason Hillary clouts she has 35 years of experience brininging change. She stops short of including her years as a Republica. Greg Jones of Cleveland, OH is correct. Hillary Rodham was a republican and stauch supporter of Barry Goldwater, a former presidential candidate who voted against the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Not much is made of this historical fact!

Please! Is Magic Johnson suppose to bring some sort of "Black Magic" to the Clinton's Campaign? Is and Bill such good buddies because they have a thing for the same kind of women?

Magic should stick to basketball, movie theaters and coffee houses.

Further, since I actually liked Bill and Hilary before they showed how politically cruel both of them are, I would like to suggest to them that unless black folks are as stupid as they think they are, Magic and Johnson stunts will backfire only and provide no credible gain in their campaign efforts.

Google for Government: Americans have the right to know how their tax dollars are spent, but that information has been hidden from public view for too long. That's why Barack Obama and Senator Tom Coburn (R-OK) passed a law to create a Google-like search engine to allow regular people to approximately track federal grants, contracts, earmarks, and loans online. The Chicago Sun-Times wrote, "It would enable the public to see where federal money goes and how it is spent. It's a brilliant idea."

For those of you who think Obama is paying the race card, you need to watch some of the earlier debates. Hillary has been baiting Obama about race starting back to the debate at Howard University . The Clintons are very slick. Obama is bi-racial so he really had no need to play the race card. I guess this just goes back to the days of slavery where one drop of black blood makes you black. I am not voting for Obama because he is black if he were white I would still vote for him because he is the best candidate, period. Also, for the black people supporting Clinton, can you please tell me what the Clintons have done for African Americans, everytime I ask a black person, I get no intelligent answer. I have tried to look it up on the internet and all I find is negative things, like how the incararation of black men grew due to laws inacted while Bill Clinton was president. etc.. I think a lot of black folks have been hoodwinked and bamboozled. The Clinton (that's right because that is really what it it) lack honor and integrity, that does not make for good leadership to me. I guess I believe "Fool me once, shame on you, Fool me twice, shame on me".

If Hillary gets the nomination it'll be gift to the GOP as it will be an easy victory. People either really like Hillary or really, really dislike her and will vote against her.
Please, please, please run for the oval office Mayor Bloomberg if Hillary gets the nod.

It's so easy to bash on politicians and see the negative. There is no politician we couldnt find the negative in when we look at things this way. And that's what i see in a lot of these comments. I would not want to be advised by any one commenting being that negative or sarcastic. Isn't that what the great Martin Luther King couseled us to do: not to get sarcastic of full of hatred, but to stand side by side and work together with those who differ from us. It's that ind of positivity that will change things for real.

Hey Nevada voter....so your friends are no longer supporting Obama because of his "Reagan comments"? Looks to me like they (and you) are missing the point entirely. I don't recall Obama praising Reagan for his political decisions, but rather stating that Reagan went against the conventional wisdom of the time. Huge difference. I am ready for someone now in 2007 to go against conventional wisdom once more. That's why Obama is the only choice for this country.

If your white and have black supporters your pandering. If your black and have white supporters your not pandering. If your black and have black supporters you are the answer to all their dreams. If your a Senator who votes on issues, as present, rather then YEA?NEA, you don't make mistakes, or do you?

To PETER ORIAVWOTE: Let me see if I understand your point. The Clintons present Magic Johnson as a spokesperson, yet Obama is playing the race card? Are you suggesting that the Magic Johnson ad was not designed to target African Americans? I believe such was the tactic. However, as an African-American voter, I am insulted. I have no problem with politicians allowing their key supporters to speak on their behalf. I need to hear, though, the POLITICAL basis for the support. I know it may be a difficult concept for those who think RACE first, but African Americans actual understand life well beyond a BASKETBALL COURT! At least, Obama is not insulting my intelligence. The Clintons are swiftly losing the support of educated, successful, professional and conscience African
Americans who are still in touch with the issues that surround the African American community at large and who desire a candidate that will address those issues. Protective and responsible global/foreign policies, better schools, affordable health care, equitable taxation, Constitutionally driven law enforcement and a sound, effective, fair criminal justice system, to name a few. Consistent, reliable financial market comes to mind, as well. Now, did I say ANYTHING about basketball? Let the candiates for the Democratic Party speak for themselves and vote for who best states a viable approach to the issues at hand.
No one seems to be acknowledge the vast number of voters who have matriculated from Historically Black Colleges and Universities. But we are a MASSIVE voting block that generally remains committed to social change for the betterment of ALL Americans. Not only do we vote, but we also financially support candidates we believe will promote a true Democracy. And no candidate should take our votes for granted. It will take much more than talk and popularity to gain the votes of me and my colleagues!

when will obama's minister apologize for his remarks about President Clinton and his reference to Zionists being racist. The head of the BET network did referring to Obama's book.

The press seems to have double standards. I hope at the next debate Obama will be asked if he shares his minister beliefs.

Should Hillary Apologize to Blacks ?????
Blacks Learning 'Goldwater Girl' Hillary Was AGAINST
the Civil Rights Act of 1964....Feel Deceived !

An article by Washington columnist Robert Novak (Google: 'Hillary, King, Goldwater) reveals that Hillary Clinton was a staunch supporter of Sen. Barry Goldwater (who was adamently against the civil rights act and a segregationist) during the same period she claims in all black church appearances that she was for the civil rights movement. Blacks feel that it was impossible for Hillary to have been a Goldwater Girl and pro civil rights at the same time which leads to the assumption that Ms. Clinton is re-inventing her past. Many blacks feel deceived by The Clintons. Should Hillary Clinton make a public apology to blacks ?

"We the People"????

After electing probably the dumbest and most corrupt administration, not once, but twice,"We the People" are going to keep us in the toilet again. We have become a society of "reality tv" hype, with no concept of what true debate and quality is.

Anyone that praises Ronald Reagan is not going to get my vote. Obama should think about switching to the Republican Party.

I am writing in Rosanne Barr for president. That should make all of you happy.
