I know everybody thinks Hillary was pulling some political manuever by leaving her name on the ballot in MI. Actually its the other 2, Hillary took bad press in Iowa and NH by leaving her name on the ballot. Obama decided to take his name off his neighboring state, denying them the opportunity to voice their opinion. After failing to do the same in Florida his campaign has said Floridas Vote is of NO IMPORTANCE TO THEM.

Throughout the speech he bashes the Clintons, he bashes them in
respect to Regan... He says he wants to unite the parties... but
bashing one of the favorite democrats and praising republicans.....

Then after bashing them he says I hate negative campaigns... yeah.... ok....

He is no different than all of the other candidates... though he

Change...what change has he been recorded on.. where is the evidence
of this change...I would really like to actually hear his ideas... not

EVERY
candidate in the democratic party wants CHANGE. I want a candidate
that is for action...not beliefs...dreams.... DREAMS will not help us
out of the crises in the economy, Iraq, terrorism, education, taxes,
energy, environment and other major topics. It is actually looking
over bills, discussing, being organized and strong about your
opinions... not having an aid have to "keep track of you".... or give
you papers "two seconds before you need them"....

Obama is a candidate of fashion, more like the iPhone, than he is like
those men. He is a candidate for affluent and trendy dilettantes
rather than for those who are suffering and ignored by those in power.
Hilary actually bridges the gap between the powerful and those who are
struggling. Her life has been a movement. She has shown courage. That
is why she won in New Hampshire.

If you look at the legislation that was voted on while he has been in
office.... he rarely votes yes/ or no... what are his opinions? I have
no idea.. I understand that he does not want to look controversial in
the public eye... "God's gift to the American people" but do something
for the American People. Who cares if you are controversial.. vote
first before others in the party do.... Popularity is a joke.. this
isn't high school.. you don't have to be at the cool table... haha. I
hate people who jump on the band wagon... and that is what he is. Too
Green to have opinions of his own... or even know what they are. Sure
he is smart... law is a great thing to have under your belt.. but it
can't be the only thing.

However, Barrack is coming across as very arrogant to me lately. I'm not sure that I want this type of arrogance in my president. I've lived with the same arrogance coming from GW all these years. I prefer someone that is tough and intelligent and not so full of themselves.

Obama has been in the senate for 2-3 years with few accomplishments and has spent most of his time as a senator running for President all of 07.

Hillary is trying to use her husband to get elected... She too has few accomplishments as a senator and has the audacity to say she has 30 years experience. She has more scandal than anybody else. i.e, campaign finance laws broke with Hsu in the Lincoln bedroom just to name one.

Edwards is nothing but a rich lawyer.

So, in other words, Edwards is criticizing Obama for acting in the same exact manner with these independent groups as he did. Edwards said that he had no control over an independent-run ad supporting him, even though his former presidential campaign manager was the person behind it. Does Obama not get the same excuse?

In any event, there's no way the Obama campaign doesn't jump on this issue. The Teachers' Union, which supports Hillary, was attempting to disenfranchise thousands of union voters. The provision which allows members of the Culinary Workers' Union to vote in caucuses in the casinos is intended to ensure they don't get fired for merely expressing their right to vote.

The decision to allow them to caucus in casinos was made many months ago, and the Teachers' Union waited until 2 days after the Culinary Workers endorsed Obama to take issue with this. The voting will be taking place on SATURDAY, and Nevada's teachers will not be working. They should have no problem voting for Hillary tomorrow, unless they for some reason find their conscience.

Their lawsuit was a clear attempt to disenfranchise voters. This is not what the Democratic Party stands for. And if John Edwards is as committed to the lower class as he says he is, he really should be lambasting Hillary's attempt to prevent the lower class from voting. Pro-Union, born-in the mills John Edwards should really be fighting against the "status quo."

The Republican party is supposed to be the party that counts on the suppression of minority voters. I'm sadly disappointed that any member of the Democratic party would try to engage in this type of political maneuvering.

And what about his attack on Obama when Obama was reflecting on what made Ronald Reagan a force for conservative change in America?

As campaigns go, they have all stayed away from the real down and out nasty that Republicans do so well... Remember Papa Bush's Willy Horton ads and Dubbya's Swift boat attacks on a real war hero, Kerry and for that matter the S.C. attack by Dubbya's folks accusing McCain of fathering a Black child because he adopted one... Hey all this is peanuts compared to the guys who really know how to dish out political S....

I happen to prefer the truth over the lies the other party spews, and Edwards is becoming the only Democrat who isn't whitewashing it. He HAS been talking about what he wants to do about it. Just visit his website why don't you?

The media are playing favorites and deliberately not reporting on Edwards. Don't forget Democrats he is the only candidate who beats all Republicans in a head to head vote! Please support Edwards. Please spread the word, and quickly!

Isn't Obama the guy who said he didn't want a divisive, attack-filled campaign? What happened to his "message" of optimism and unity?

He didn't denounce the 527 group that was misrepresenting Obama. Why is he now becoming so indignant over the rights that were almost lost to the pooer caucaus voters?

And this last sentence in the article is a pruposeful misrepresentation of the timeline:

The judge ruled against the suit that the Clinton supporters of the Teachers Union filed. THEN the radio ads began.

It doesn't matter because now the teachers in the Teachers Union are mad that the executives brought this suit without the full concensus of the body.

She may very well lose the independent teachers vote.

He needs to pick a side and stick with it.

He 's trying to grasp at anything at this point to pull out a win.

Think of it: If John Edwards can relegate obama to a third place finish in iowa, it would make his John Edwards candidacy more viable. Ergo the attacks on Obama.

At least the ad is truthful. The Clintons were obviously behind the lawsuit. The same plaintiffs in the suit were Clinton supporters who had NO problem with the sites when they were on the site selection committee back in March.

Clinton IS shameless. Her mailers against Obama are BLATANTLY false (suggesting Obama is pro-life?! suggesting Obama is in favor of Yucca Mountain?!).

It was the Clintons want to disinfranchise the Union Voters......Does the Voters have the right to know this since it was so close to the Nevada Caucus–Dam right the Union must inform the Nevada people....Your not going to get it both ways with some cost for your action.

Edwards' one-term senator record is riddled with major problems. A lot of the major issues in this campaign that have come up Edwards voted yes to (i.e. Bankruptcy Reform Bill, Yucca Mountain Nuclear Waste Dump, War in Iraq, No Child Left Behind and Trade Agreement with China to name a few). He has since said he is very sorry for voting for those bill. Okay i'm a forgiving guy, but not for continuous bad judgement!

This whole stink about the independent ad issue is just a smoke screen. When Obama criticized Edwards for a 527 group running ads in Iowa, Obama had justification. The guy who led that 527 group was John Edwards's 2004 presidential campaign manager. The union running ads in Nevada is not a 527 group and Obama just recently received that union's endorsement.

If Edwards truly wants media attention, he should just drop of the race!
