I still think Hillary Clinton has the most experience to run this country and bring us back strong. Obama does not. Maybe in 8 years he might. If everyone listened to Hillary and what she can and will do for the people how can you not vote for Hillary Clinton. Just think about it. I just do not get what the people are thinking. Go Hillary!!!!!!!!

WOW!!....CNN (Clinton News Network) actually put Duncan's name and picture up on it's web site. Amazing what kind of coverage you can get AFTER you have dropped out. America lost this weekend. May God have mercy on your souls. Funny what money will do for you and your campaign. Funny what owning a part of Baine Communications will do for you as well.

Hunter was one of only three Republicans I could have voted for. Now there is only Ron Paul left. And where are all these remaining guys hiding on MLK day? I have heard nothing on participation at any of the many commerations by any Republican candidate. Anyone have a story about this? Am I right on that?
It seems that the inherent racism of the right wing is on display.

If you are a hard core conservative and want to see a change in this nation, i suggest checking out Ron Paul. He placed Second in Nevada and is in it for the long haul. He is being marginalized by the mainstream, but has the money to keep pushing. ronpaul2008.com Check out his record. Youtube :Ron Paul Hope for America

For all you Hunter supporters: where was your candidate when all these illegals were coming in the country with the blessings of big business to fulfill their desire for cheap labor? He, the Chambers of Commerce (a repub. front for the most part), and most of you, turned a blind eye while the case was made that it benefited business. Now that YOU helped lure them here, you send out your attack-dogs like Hunter to stoke racist fears in the ignorant wingnut populace for political gain. Good riddance to another wingnut goon!

As someone else on this thread indicated, you R. Paul supporters are wasting space, in more ways than one. Paul is a defender of the constitution all right, especially the part where blacks count as ~40% of a person. We're also likely to find that Paul and the other so-called constitutionalists (like Scalia) look down on airplanes, automobiles, satellites, etc. because they are nowhere mentioned in the constitution. The Paul approach to law approaches the moronic. My only surprise is that such an approach doesn't get more traction in the wingnut electorate.....just goes to show how loony-toons the other repub-bot candidates must be to attract such a voting block away from Paul!

Mike Huckabee wants to amend the Constitution to prevent children born in the U.S. to illegal aliens from automatically becoming American citizens, according to his top immigration surrogate , James Gilchrist,— a radical step no other major presidential candidate has embraced.

He would force a test case to the Supreme Court to challenge birthright citizenship, and would push Congress to pass a 28th Amendment to the Constitution to remove any doubt.

He thinks the case against U.S. Border Patrol agents Ignacio Ramos and Jose Alonso Compean was railroaded. "I would make it my first act as president to pardon agents Ramos and Compean."

I didnt know much about hunter, but I am sure he was an ok guy. Ron Paul will be the next to go. Probobly because his followers are anti mormon. Anyone hoping to see Romney drop out of the race is going to be sorely disappointed. The man is either going to be president or vice president. And come on this is a vote, people are voting for who they like. Thus if someone dropped out they must not have been the best choice for enough people. I guarantee if no one knew Romney was a mormon he would be carrying more than half of this country. If Ron paul is not a bigot maybe he could be VP.

Well, he got one more delegate than I got. Then again, I haven't been spending a year campaigning nor am I running for President. Nonetheless, it was a close race between me and Duncan. Now if I get one more delegate, I'll be tied with Giuliani!

Please throw you support behind Ron Paul. He is the closest to your position than any of the rest. He needs every vote possible.

I guess I'd be happier to hear Hillary, Obama, Huck and McCain all drop out

It's always sad when a true patriot, and a man of the truth, like Tancredo or Hunter leaves, Hunter has proven records he BUILT THE WALL (a section). The ravages of illegal immigration in Mexifornia say it all about the need of a wall and tough anti laws. But Hunter had low percentages, so him leaving is no suprise

But the thing that puzzles me more is why does Hunter leaving make some columns but RON PAUL second place in NV draws almost no attention to medias? Why do they silence sb who is SECOND? Why were they all over Obama and Clinton and Huck etc (top 5) in Iowa and NH but here someone gets second and he is barely shown (just by obligation in listings)?

Duncan Hunter could've restored what America has lost including MORALS. We don't have one running with the integrity and morals he had. He Is by far the best man that's why the media dropped him.

Keep on voting for all the candidates with the big money that are controlled by the Special Interest Groups and keep getting the same results.

So sorry you puppets are waiting on the media to tell pull your strings. .Wake up Robots.

Go Ron Paul!!

You've got the most money and most loyal supporters. They are slowly dropping out. They know NOTHING about the dollar. People will regret not listening to you, but they will seek you soon. No other candidate is a good economist. That is what we need!!!

You were #1 in Nevada!! Just factor out the Mormons and you really won!!

Duncan Hunter fans, please now consider Ron Paul. His views dovetail nicely with your own and frankly, do you REALLY want to vote for Romney or McCain considering their less than ethical backgrounds and liberal policies?
Guliani and Thompson.....come on be real. Both are as liberal as Hillary don't waste your vote!

-john
"McCain should drop out. Huckabee & Thompson are getting over 40% of
the vote in South Carolina, and this proves he can't carry the south."

Try again John, McCain won South Carolina.

Thompson will be the next to out, unless it's Ron Paul.

No No, I'm not dumb, its the comments on this page.

People are jumping on who should jump out based on who they don't like!!!

None of the top three on either side will drop out before march. Get a grip!!

Thank GOD Hunter dropped out, maybe he could've done this 6 months ago and saved us the trouble of hearing him at the debates. What a waste of time.

Most men in the army come from conservative families so they should've have to serve with gay men and women?? You're out of your mind. I'd love to see the stats on the "conservative families" it is VERY clear why no one voted for your hopeless campaign.

You wanted to clean up washington and stop the spending?? Ya, lets spend it instead on a friggin wall between us and Mexico. Have you heard of this country called Cuba?? If people without any money, resources or an understand of the english language can cross a portion of the ocean, patrolled by the US Coast Guard, in a boat made of milk cartons, explain how a wall is going to stop Mexicans??? GREAT idea. Too bad you can't be president.

Duncan Hunter was the only true conservative that reflected tradtional Republican values on EVERY issue. There was no questionining his authenticity like with all the other " Republican " candidates. You can't trust Romney, McCain, Guiliani . They have all shown their liberal stripes. Huckabee will NEVER get elected. That leaves only Ron Paul. Oh well. I will vote for Paul but my heart wishes it was Duncan Hunter. I guess it's our turn for an election fiasco.

It's too bad Duncan Hunter wasn't able to get a bit more traction. He's ten times the conservative that Huckabee, McAmnesty , and Giuliani are. He's been an excellent Congressman for CA. He's smart. He's got great experience. Like others, I think he'd make an excellent Secretary of Defense. He could even be a VP consideration for Mitt Romney.

Hunter is a good man with integrity.
Your main issue was "the border."
Other issues such as tax reform, education, gun rights and others match Ron Paul.
You don't agree with Dr. Paul on everything/
Since you have exited the race, he is the only GOP candidate left who has integrity.
You should endorse Ron Paul.

Good Riddance I say! Nah-nah-nah-nah, nah-nah-nah-nah, Hey-ey-ey, Good-bye!

Took him a LONG time to realize that. Duncan Hunter is exactly like Tom Tancredo, except much less intelligent. (At least Tancredo knew when to call it quits. And he put pragmatism above principle and endorsed someone who might win the nomination.)

Who is next? My money is on Giuliani. He should definitely drop out! It looks like a three-way race between Romney, McCain, and Huckabee. And Ron Paul is the "tortoise" of the race. But we will see how Mayor 9-11 does in Florida.

Hunter is a great man. He will be missed. Maybe he can take the White House in 2012 or 2016.

There are only two true conservatives in the Republican party. Fred Thompson and Mitt Romney.

Too bad that poser, McCain, won South Carolina. He and Huckabee fooled an entire state into thinking they were conservatives when they aren't.

Go Mitt!!!!

Hunter would've made an EXCELLENT president.
Hope he endorses Romney, the next best choice, and by far the most electable conservative. Hackabee is a joke on everything but the 2A, McCain's a RINO through and through, Rudy a sack of corruption, and Fred's a fine actor and lobbyist, but not a leader or a problem solver. Ron Paul- I support the guy, but Hunter's supporters won't likely flock to Dr. No.

Best wishes to Rep. Hunter. I hope the remaining candidates take your message to heart and secure our borders.
I'm curious to see who he chooses to endorse, and sincerely hope it's not Huckabee.

Mr Hunter, sorry things didn't work out for you, but on the Republican side you never really caught on. Good luck in the future.

I suspect Thompson and Rudy will be following your lead shortly.
