(CNN) — The Obama campaign released a recording Saturday that they said was a last-minute negative robo-call received by a Nevada voter.

The call attacks the Illinois senator and emphasizes his little-used middle name, repeatedly referring to “Barack Hussein Obama.” The Obama campaign posted an mp3 of the call on the Internet. (outside link)

"I'm calling with some important information about Barack Hussein Obama," says the anonymous caller. "Barack Hussein Obama says he doesn't take money from Washington lobbyists or special interest groups, but the record is clear that he does."

The male voice concludes: "You just can't take a chance on Barack Hussein Obama."

Hilary's Experience

Lets start at the beginning. Hillary headed the Young Republicans at Wellesley College and was a self described Goldwater girl. For those who don’t remember, Senator Goldwater was one of only six Republican Senators who joined Southern Democratic segregationists opposing the historic voting rights act of 1964 inspired by Martin Luther King.

Wal-Mart

Hillary Clinton served on Wal-Mart's board of directors for six years when her husband was governor of Arkansas. Also, the infamous Rose Law Firm where she was a partner handled many of the company's legal affairs.

Hillary Clinton was paid $1,500 for each Wal-Mart meeting she attended and accumulated at least $100,000 in Wal-Mart stock, according to Clinton's past federal financial disclosure forms.

Hillary Clinton had kind words for Wal-Mart as recently as 2004, when she told an audience at the convention of the National Retail Federation that her time on the board "was a great experience in every respect."
Of course Hilary Clinton now claim she used her position to urge the company to improve its gender and racial diversity, but neither she nor Wal-Mart will release minutes of the company's board meetings during her tenure.

“There's no evidence she did anything to improve the status of women or make it a very different place in ways Mrs. Clinton's Democratic base would care about," said Liza Featherstone, author of “Selling Women Short: The Landmark Battle for Worker's Rights at Wal-Mart."

Hillary Clinton takes credit for the Bill Clinton Administration’s accomplishments when touting her experience advantage over her rival Obama.

OK, lets list the important ones that had long lasting affects:

N.A.F.T.A. and the W.T.O. - Clinton championed and passed these disastrous trade deals that have destroyed our middle class and sent our good paying blue-collar jobs away.

H1B Visa. - Clinton championed this program that allowed U.S. corporations to import high skilled foreign workers to replace American people for a fraction of the pay. Clinton allowed in hundreds of thousands of these replacement workers to the great benefit of a few superrich contributors.

Ballistic Missile Technology to China. – Clinton reversed the ban the State Department had imposed on the transfer of this dangerous technology, signing a waiver to allow just one company to do it. The Loral Corporation. Coincidentally that company is run by CEO Bernard Schwartz who had been the biggest contributor to Bill Clintons reelection campaign.

I won’t mention any of the ridiculous scandals that also plagued the last Clinton Administration. The Clintons directly led to the Republican takeovers of the Presidency and both Houses of Congress with their shenanigans.

Hillary has Terry McAuliffe running her campaign. This is the sleazy guy who walked away with several MILLION DOLLARS of UNION PENSION MONEY. Court documents show McAuliffe put up only $100 for the purchase, while the IBEW pension fund put up $39 million. McAuliffe received a generous 50% stake in the partnership and emerged with $2.45 million from his original $100 investment. The pension fund lost money.

McAuliffe also ended up with several million dollars from the Global Crossing fiasco that left thousands of honest peoples life savings gone.

As I tell my children, “you can tell a lot about a person by the people they associate with.”

The Clinton's take credit for the economy of the late 1990s. That was of course because of the Internet boom that started in 1995 and went bust in 2000. We all made a ton of money. Everybody paid income tax on that money. That influx to the treasury also led to an income bubble for the Government. At least on paper, we had a short-term balanced budget. BIG DEAL!! That was a fluke the Clintons had nothing to do with.

The Clinton's have proven to be a disaster for working people because of their policies.

This workingman believes its time for change, not a return to past failures!!!!

elizabeth   January 19th, 2008 5:18 pm ET

Geeze, this is going to wake up so many Indies and Republicans to beat Hillary is almost comedic that true Democrats are ignoring this.

David   January 19th, 2008 5:22 pm ET

I am an African American male, and a long time Democrat who has voted in every presidential and senatorial election since I was 18 years old. If Hillary wins the nomination, I will vote for McCain, and a huge number of African Americans will protest the election, all because Hillary attacked a viable black candidate by using the "race card" and her supporters have been spewing more racist, venomous garbage than any republican would ever dare.

Do you think you can win the general election if African Americans voted for McCain or just sat out all together? Considering all the independents who will go for Romney or McCain?

I don't think so. I won't give my vote to Hillary and her racist supporters. Not in the general, and not ever. The Clinton's have shown their true colors.

BLACKS NEED TO SEPARATE FROM THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY. THEY ARE JUST AS RACIST AS REPUBLICANS. BE INDEPENDENT AND PROTEST HILLARY'S RACIST POLICIES THIS CAMPAIGN SEASON. SEND A STRONG MESSAGE

Karen   January 19th, 2008 5:25 pm ET

I thought his name was Barack Hussein Obama.

Obama supporter   January 19th, 2008 5:25 pm ET

I couldn't agree more. I'd like to know exactly what it was she and Bill did for black women in America, cause I can't think of anything! So, thanks for nothing, Bill and Hillary, I'll be voting for Obama and real change.

mgleaso3   January 19th, 2008 5:28 pm ET

This is exactly why I would vote for anyone BUT Hillary Clinton. If she wins the Democratic nomination, I will look seriously at who the Republican nominee is.
The Clinton era sleaze factor makes my skin crawl and I have absolutely no doubt that there is already a good deal of underhanded "trickery" going on in the early states (witness the sudden shift in outcome in NH, for example).

Go, Barak, Go! Win in SC!

whatthe   January 19th, 2008 5:33 pm ET

Workingman - some of the stuff you said seems fair/true and some seems really lame/made-up.

I do not know who I am voting for, but the information that you just passed along does not seem true just by reading it!! I will have to do some internet searches, but you seem to be penning some exagerations.

elaine   January 19th, 2008 5:34 pm ET

I could not agree with DAvid more. I WILL NOT vote before I vote for Hillary Clinton. The Clintons have shown their true colors. I hope that Black people get it. The Clintons must go home and laugh at all of the handkerchief heads such as Andy YOung, Tavis Smiley and the biggest buffoon of them all, Robert Johnson. Sometimes I truly feel sorry for my people.

Awaiting Moderation, USA   January 19th, 2008 5:36 pm ET

I am an Obama supporter who is worried. Obama may be too wet behind the ears to be in the same league as the Clinton machine.

He answered an a question honestly (what his biggest weakness was) and got pounded for it.

He gave thoughtful, introspective comments about Reagan's movement (democrats came on board) and got pounded for it.

Who are his advisers? Someone needs to tell him that this is hardball. The Clintons aren't playing games here. They'are out for blood.

Oh, by the way. I'm an independent who will support whoever the Democratic nominee is–Obama or Clinton. I just think that Clinton is too polarizing.

Christine   January 19th, 2008 5:41 pm ET

I'm well educated and African American. I fit "Hilary's" demographic. I'm involved, female, over 45 and I vote.

But like the previous poster I can't think of a single thing the Clinton's did to support women or African Americans during their tenure. Which is probably why Mrs. Clinton talks about her 35 years of experience but no details.

I'm a registered Democrat but in the general elections I vote independent. I'll be voting Obama or Edwards come the February 5th primaries. If that fails and Hilary is the nominee, I'll be voting Republican to send her a message that we don't want the same "old" gang back in power.

If the Nevada vote is any indication - the people voting Republican outnumber those voting Democratic. WIth Hilary on the ticket the Democrats might was well throw in the towel. I would love to see a woman president in my lifetime. But not one who has her husband fight her battles for her.

Hawk,Texas   January 19th, 2008 5:43 pm ET

Workingman? what republican are you working for. or you just a very sick person. wake up people i am 70 years old and have seen a lot of presidents. and bill clinton was one of the very best.

Truth Hurts   January 19th, 2008 5:43 pm ET

I CAN FEEL THE TENSION IN THE AIR, THEY ARE GOING TO TRY ANY TAKE OBOMA LIFE WATCH AND SEE

Hawk,Texas   January 19th, 2008 5:46 pm ET

David, obama started the whole thing, saying he would run a clean election, first rattle out of the box, he is the one that started this whole mess. and as not voting democrat you are just a closet republican.

Jessica   January 19th, 2008 5:46 pm ET

What I find interesting, is that Hillary never tried to pull the "race card". She made a comment, entirely didn't mean to be offensive, and the media created a huge, huge issue, that I think ALL candidates were trying to stay away from. They all agreed that this needs to be an election about issues, not about the race of the candidates.

As for corporations, one should also note that one of OBAMA's huge supporters and contributers is EXELON. A huge nuclear power operator. And Illinois, has a large amount of nuclear plants. Its a very dangerous company that puts its hands in Obama's pockets.

The internet wasn't the only thing that boosted the economy. It flourished in part for how the country was being run, so yes, no matter what, the Clinton's deserve at least some credit. Otherwise, we would still be in great shape. It was Bush who destroyed it. The president does have impact on the economy.

What is scary, is that people who don't like her, hate her, and I don't really know why. I don't hate any candidate who is running. I disagree with some, but find things to respect in all. I think that it's important to realize that EVERYONE who is running, got to this position because they managed to do something good for society. One needs to look at each candidate to review their history, and what they stand for, and make every effort to look past what the media is throwing out there. I'm live in Illinois, and originally am from Michigan. I used to be neutral, but after watching numerous debates, doing massive research, I decided to support Hillary. And I have LOTS of reasons that contributed to my decision. So at least, whoever you support, do your research, ON EVERYONE. Because no one is flawless, no matter how wonderful the media wants to portray them. Choose to be an informed citizen.

Sarah L, Fayetteville, AR   January 19th, 2008 5:54 pm ET

I am a registered Democrat. I'm white and from Arkansas. I support Barack Obama and believe that he has the strengths to be a truly historical figure as president of the United States. Because of the dirty tricks, if Hillary gets the nomination, I will vote Republican.

Amy   January 19th, 2008 5:54 pm ET

The Clintons may say they work to improve civil rights but hell if they have learned anything about it. All talk and no substance, maybe Bill smoked it all up.

Tom   January 19th, 2008 5:54 pm ET

This is negative? it is stating the facts and using his full name…. if he is embarrassed by his own name, can he really be a leader? a president?

Yes We Can! GA   January 19th, 2008 5:55 pm ET

I just wanna Remind OBAMA what MIKE HUCKABEE said ; "Running for office is like a full contact sport, so get ready recieve and give punches". I know we all want a clean process, but do not hesitate to give punches to HILLARY because everytime you soft on her BILL find some to distract people by going after you.
We are fired up ready for MONDAY DEBATE. GO OBAMA, YES WE CAN !

Carrie   January 19th, 2008 5:56 pm ET

The Clinton Machine is still pushing that Sen. Obama is a muslim. BS as always!!
I am ashamed to be a democrat. Its all because of the Clinton Machines spinning and lying. The Democratic Party needs to change soon before another Republican is elected. Wake up people before its to late!!

Obama 08

Ron   January 19th, 2008 5:56 pm ET

We all know that politic is a duty game, but the last minute attempt to use this young man middle name as a tool to turn voters away from him is some what worst than playing duty . Obama has reminded me of JFK . They have the same passion for the country. I want to live long enough to see what Hllary and Bill will say to their black base after the primary. This man truely reflects what America stands for, you can be any thing if you can put your mind to it.

Mirta   January 19th, 2008 5:57 pm ET

Why is this considered more negative that other calls? Robo calls about lobbyists and special interest groups is not a new strategy.

Oh, I get it…This is negative because they used Senator Obama's full name, right? Why would that be a problem? Senator Clinton's name is Hillary Diane Rodham Clinton. Big deal. Afterall, what's in a name?

Jason   January 19th, 2008 6:01 pm ET

Is Barack Hussein Obama not his name…? What's "negative" about a guy's name?!

SetItStraight   January 19th, 2008 6:04 pm ET

Sounds like a lot of uninformed people making responses this evening.

The clown who comes up with Clinton lies and untruths - Vince Foster? A depressed guy who killed himself - let's let the poor man rest in peace.

The loser who comes up with the Wal Mart details - where are all the other board meeting minutes? I dont think they release any of them.

AND most of all - those who think that someone should "do something for them" - well, honey, why not get off your butt and do something for yourself rather than waiting for government to do it for you?

And finally - "Truth Hurts" why not learn how to spell, would be nice before you post.

Happy Voting

Angela   January 19th, 2008 6:06 pm ET

wake up people stop accusing the Clintons for everything that happens in the campaign. Stop with the conspiracy theories. The Obama camp needs to stop whining, they are beginning to sound like whiny 3 year olds

Carrie   January 19th, 2008 6:08 pm ET

Yes, Jason, it is his FULL NAME. Do we call Hillary or other candidates by their FULL NAMES? NO! BS SPIN!!

Rachel   January 19th, 2008 6:10 pm ET

Is the Obama campaign asserting that it did not use similar tactics in Nevada? What about its nasty radio ad calling Clinton a disgrace (oh yeah, they had nothing to do with that…right!)

Moreover, I don't think there is anything untrue in this robo call, is there? If his name is such a liability, I guess he should have changed it years ago.

I think this is a non-story.

Adam   January 19th, 2008 6:11 pm ET

Where did the article say, or even suggest, that Hillary's campaign was behind this? After weeks of being blasted every time it mentions anything even vaguely related to Obama, the Clinton campaign would not be foolish enough to make such a juvenile telephone attack ad.

It was probably organized by a smaller, anti-Obama union or a small group of Hillary supporters, but the Clintons are smart enough not to get involved. They also know that any back-door support for the calling scheme would land them in hot water, or at least raise the suspicion of every blogger alive.

This is almost definitely not a Clinton-campaign job. Please don't take her involvement in it for granted and then complaign about it.

Maria L. English   January 19th, 2008 6:16 pm ET

Great people reelect a good Republican.Next time, things are going just greeeeat.
I'm a Latina Democrat and all we need is more fighting amongst us.I think the idea of sending Bill Clinton on an attack mode is terrible but we should not fight amongst ourselves.

elderneil   January 19th, 2008 6:16 pm ET

I'm here in Illinois listening and watching. To be honest the republicans want Hillary to win. They know she's devisive, They are afraid of Obama because he's a uniter. I will say this about the Clinton machine…they are good at what they do.

IAM TIRED OF THE CLINTONS AND ALL THE REST OF THE SO CALLED GOOD OH BOYS IN WASHINGTON, THEY ALL NEED TO RETIRE . SO WHATS IN A NAME . MOST WHITE PEOPLE WOULD NOT VOTE FOR OBAMA BECAUSE THE COLOR OF HIS SKIN. OBAMA COULD BE OVER QUALIFIED AND THEY STILL WOULD FIND SOMETHING WRONG WITH HIM.
THE PEOPLE ELECTED BUSH,THE WORST PRESIDENT I CAN EVER REMEMBER AND I CAN ONLY GO BACK AS FAR AS KENNEDY.

Emily   January 19th, 2008 6:20 pm ET

Give it a rest Obama. Are you ever going to accept defeat gracefully? First your people make excuses for New Hampshire and now Nevada?

When I see you attacking those anti-Clinton Spanish radio ads for playing dirty, then you can complain about this alleged dirty act. Until then, continue to throw the race card insinuously into every speech you make and continue to whine and cry when someone actually has the nerve to comment on your weak policy statements. I'm sure, give the predominance of pro-Obama threads on CNN, they will back you 100%

Al, Miami, FL   January 19th, 2008 6:25 pm ET

Thank you Workingman for stating the facts.

Scott, Madison, WI   January 19th, 2008 6:44 pm ET

For all the Clinton cocktail drinkers: (And anyone else who has a head and heart for that matter and can think for themselves).

Please google Newsweek article "Hillary's Hidden Hand". Not that I needed any more convincing evidence not to vote for her ever before this article was published!

Lori   January 19th, 2008 6:49 pm ET

Amazing! For those who are attacking someone for the race card, it seems like that is the only reason that you are voting for Obama! Clinton has been scrutinized by the media more than any politician in the last 25 years. They have tried time and time again to destroy her name and yet they have never found anything to show corruption. Look at her voting record! LOOK AT HER VOTING RECORD before you start dividing the democratic part itself. If you look at both her and Obama's platforms, you would find that they really isn't much of a difference therefore you need to look at their voting record in Congress, but only one of those doesn' t have that much experience (hmmmnnn).

Look, Democrats, we cannot become divisive within our own party and slander the ideals such as civil rights that our party has stood for. Both of these candidates have stood for and worked for both civil rights and civil liberties. To attack one another on false accusations only allows the Republicans to win the ticket. What is their take on the democratic election? Well…to sit back on watch the democrats destroy themselves. And from the look of it…that's exactly what ignorance will do.

As Americans, we have inheritied one of the worst presidencies in history, whoever is the next president will have the responsibility of uniting this divided county and re-establishing our name abroad.

When asked what the number one issue that people want candidates to discuss is the economy and whether you like it or not….Bill inherited a billion dollar deficit and when he left 8 years later, it was a surplus. When people go into that voting booth, people vote their pocket book.

GO HILLARY! a proven POLITICIAN

GG, Phila, PA   January 19th, 2008 6:58 pm ET

We were supposed to debate the campaign news but first, Workingman's message must be corrected. (His message seems a very nice copy and paste, so one can guess who is paying him). Hillary maybe done bad things, but Workingman's remark regarding H1B visa is a lie. American companies MUST give H1B foreign workers an equal salary to that of Americans. Cheap work comes from outsourcing and illigal immigrants. Anyway these are good ways to keep many lazy Americans away from work. They just wait for a SS check to buy cheap products. When foreign inteligent workers stop coming here, America will be…nothing.

Leah DiMarco, TX   January 19th, 2008 6:59 pm ET

I'd rather vote for a 'statesman' over a 'proven politician'.

Gooooo Obama!

Workingman   January 19th, 2008 7:02 pm ET

Thanks for your response. I am very glad to hear you are skeptical and will research the information yourself. I assure that I did not make up any of that information, but you should of course verify everything so you can be sure.

We need well informed voters. Please spread truth about the important things, not the silly things the media focuses on.

Shannon Lee   January 19th, 2008 7:06 pm ET

Talk about being prejudiced or being profiled I can not believe Mrs. Obama trashed South Carolina for her poor pronunciation. shame on you. So what if your husbands name sounds like he is tied to a terrorist group, what do you care your no better than Mrs. Clinton at least she points out the truth she doesn't pass the buck, because she failed to say the name of the state wrong.., This is just tacky Mrs. Obama I believe you owe the State of South Carolina an apology…

Kim in NV   January 19th, 2008 7:08 pm ET

When I read Obama supporters declaring that their vote will be Republican if their candidate does not receive the nomination, I am totally in awe. I am a supporter of Hillary Clinton, yet I have never felt this way, nor have I heard any of Hilary's supporters say anything so ridiculous. I'll tell you Obama supporters one thing, if Obama does receive the nomination you better HOPE that Hillary's supporters don't behave the way you threaten to. If we are going to win the White House, whichever our nominee will need ALL of our support. Don't cut off your nose to spite your face. Do you really believe Obama will vote for a Republican over Hillary if he does not receive the nomination? Do you really believe Hillary would vote Republican if she doesn't receive the nomination? Look at the bigger picture folks. Not even Obama or Clinton would contemplate such a ridiculous notion.

Desiree   January 19th, 2008 7:08 pm ET

If Barack Hussein Obama doesn't like his name then why doesn't he just change it. He seems to have low self esteem issues about his name.

lucy   January 19th, 2008 7:18 pm ET

I am a 62 year old women and have seen many presidents in my life time,
Since the Bushes and Clintons decided they were the ones to rule our country we have deterated to a country that has absoutely no standing in the world. Hillary Clinton has been a senator for at least 8 year, what has she done for us, what is her past record.
OBAMA will win because we the American people are insisting on change, Workingman is speaking the truth, about the Clintons. The nation is in the state it is in because of the EXPERIENCE coming out of Washington now.
Our future deserves better and for so long we have had to settle with the status quo, the corruption and neglect that we have had to endure, no more,
This year is our ONE and ONLY chance to make a difference, on whom we the american people elect into office to lead the american people in a fair way. We finally have a chance to make change for ourselves and the future generations of this country.
WE the voteing generation NOW will go down in History as the generation that made a difference, Barack Obama will bring us the Accountability and change we deserve, Vote for the man not the name,Vote for Barack Obama.

Why is his middle name seldom used? It's his name and he should be proud of it. There is no shame in his Muslim heritage.

John   January 19th, 2008 7:24 pm ET

I think we need to look at the bigger picture and keep our eyes on the prize which is to support a candidate that will listen to our concerns. I'm not a Hilliary fan either… I know about her be a Goldwater and about the NAFTA deal. "By the way this one burns me up because so many jobs were lost as a result of Bill approving this deal." However, I have yet to see a republican candidate reach out for the "Black support". In fact, Gulianni will not even campaign in South Carolina. So do we as a group sit back and give the republicans the opportunity to win and further destroy the middle class for another 4-8 years, or do we vote for someone who claims that will address our concerns and issues. The bottom line is this, we need to become more self sufficient and not depend upon this government.

Mario   January 19th, 2008 7:45 pm ET

This is just another Clinton play to try to ruin Obama, it didn't work did it! So someone used his middle name, so what is your point?

Senator Obama struggles again to make an impact and seeks to accuse others of derailing his campaign.

However, he is supposedly campaigning for the Democrats, but at times that seems blurred.

He praises Ronald Reagan, a Republican.
He criticizes Bill Clinton, a hero for many Democrats.
He votes money to fund the Bush war.
He votes for the energy bill devised by Dick Cheney and his oil-rich associates.
He offers a strike-first approach to war-mongering.

Then, he openly acknowledges he lacks organizational skills and would leave much to advisors.

His opponents suggest he is an inexperienced candidate. My confusion is trying to decide whether he is an inexperienced Republican or an inexperienced Democrat.. I suspect the former.

Geri Sacramento   January 19th, 2008 9:54 pm ET

I would like the illegal Obama robo-calls made at the eleventh hour in New Hampshire investigated. The rules indicate that within the first 30 seconds, the caller must identify who is sponsoring the call. These calls, supposedly coming from Planned Parenthood ( as I remember it) did not identify who was sponsoring them until 38 seconds into the call. Clearly illegal and punishable by $5000.00 per call. Please, someone investigate those robo-calls.

Stop this nonsense   January 20th, 2008 1:13 am ET

All you kids threatening " if Hillary gets the nomination, I am voting republican", go ahead ,but please don't cry when you get exactly what you deserve.
Let's all us real Democrats get behind the nominee.

Look at what is at stake here people - there might be 2 openings in the next 4 years on the Supreme Court - think about the implication of having McCain, Rommey or Guiliani as president? Get over this playground stuff and look at the big picture.

BTW, the first time I hear Obama's middle name used with emphasis was by Ann Coulter, so why accuse Hillary of this? Grow up people and see this agenda by the media and the repubs. They are laughing it up seeing the division within the democratic party.

Thank you Jessica for your comments, they are right on.

RedSea Foreign National   January 20th, 2008 5:24 am ET

This is all completeley ridiculous! Even Obama could have had someone record this message after he lost! There is no race card, and neither Obama or Hillary have done anything to participate in the race dispute. Actually, I would believe Obama had someone in his campaign push it to be a big deal in the media. Hillary was simply emphasizing the need for a president to be good at passing legeislation through Congress. Afterall, that was the failure of Carter. I was not a fan of Hillary when she was first lady,, however I knew qt leqst she adired qnd idolized MLK! I think she has since become a lady of class and dignity after serving in the senate. Now she is ready to deal with Congress, and as for her voting record it is almost identicle as Obamas with the exception of 1 or 2 votes out of thousands, when Obama is in fact voting. In only 3 years as a senator he has missed 254 votes, more than 2 times as many as Hillary in 7 years serving twice as long as him. And if Obama claims to be able to unite people, then why does he deny his Muslim roots and that he attended a Mosque in Indonesia from age 6 - 10. For me the fact that he has muslim roots, a muslim father and christian mother, is the only interesting thing about him. If he were open about this he could do a lot to unite muslim and Christians in America, and more especially with our Middle East ties! The Middle East is a needed traded partner, and ofr other purposes besides oil. Emirates will be out of oil in 15 years, explaining why they are modernizing their culture and opening their economy! Even Squdi as opened their economy to tourism in cities around he unexplored diving sites of the Saudi Red Sea Coast!

RedSea Foreign National   January 20th, 2008 5:45 am ET

Bush has largely ignored the economy and especially the International economy and been focused mainly on Iraq. We need to get out of Iraq and focus on peace and International Trade, as well as the domestic economy. If the US wants to be a world leader, then it needs to be competitive internationally and respect the ideas and cultures of the international community. I am Republican, but the only Republican candidate with any 'economic' intelligence is Huckabee, and although McCain is an honorable and respectable candidate, he is too military, and Romney is only a smart business man, and has a protectionist philosophy for non-competitive business. Obama is a lawyer by nature and I am sorry to offend any Obama supporters, but he talks good, however he is full of contradictions and a double talker, and he is a green kid. He will get whipped by congress! There is not any candidate who is perfect or that I agree with everything about, but the most important thing the US needs to do is restore it's foreign relations and image to the world, so regardless if I like or agree with everything about Hillary, she is the best candidate to restore the respect of the US. People, please start looking at a bigger picture than party, and also beyond US borders! It does not matter if someone is a democrat or republican, but if what they see and what they believe in is right for our country, and not only if they are respected inside the US, but also internationally by other governments and foreign people. I live outside of the US, and Hillary is very well respected and the top choice of most Americans and non-Americans living overseas for the reasons I gave.

For a lot of reasons, I've had a hard time deciding between Obama and Clinton, but message bards like this one have made that decision much easier for me. I think you can tell a lot about a candidate by the people who support them.

What I see on these message boards is a lot of childish fussiness from Obama supporters, many stating they will vote Republican if Obama doesn't win the nomination. What???? So you're al basically saying the issues are irrelevant, right?

I can understand having a tough time deciding between the two, since they are virtually identical on all the major issues. But saying you'd choose to completely jump ship if Obama doesn't win is tantamount to a child whining that s/he won't eat dinner at all if dinner isn't pizza.

Grow up. The issues matter. You're voting for president OF THE UNITED STATES, not president of student council. You shouldn't just have a temper tantrum because your pal doesn't win.

This should also be a wake-up call to all those who espouse the belief that Obama can unite us. Look at these boards. Clinton's supporters make it clear here that they'd love to see Hillary in office, but they'll do what they have to to insure problems like the war and the economy are handled correctly. Obama's supporters threaten to completely switch parties if things don't go their way. If that isn't divisive, then you people have a rather creative definition of the term.

I think that you Hillary folks should pay attention to us. WE WILL NOT VOTE FOR HILLARY UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!! We are not threatening; we will do it. We will stay at home or we will vote Republican.

Pay attention to our RAGE because it is real. You can pay attention or call us stupid, childish, whatever. Without our support, Hillary will not be president.

She needs to clean up her act. Fast!

Oh brother, they have done something again. They have campaigned to get last minute voters. Okay…I don't get it people, what am I missing? These kinds of calls go out all the time. This is news?

Obama used nasty spanish ads to get votes, so what's the difference. It took them a little more than a day to make new complaints.

Well said Alvis - right now those supporting Hillary are the majority of the Democratic base and those who support Obama believe in his message of change (or because they are anti-Hillary :( ) BUT by the comments of most of his followers - such as those (mostly males and young women) who threaten to hold their breath until they turn purple and pass out and then to vote Republican (because they don't understand the different party platforms or as males don't care?!) sadly belie Obama's message of hope and Unity.

Their sense of identity and party affiliation are still maturing and evolving. Many undoubtedly don't even realize the implications of this election on the future of the Supreme Court and why it is so important. In many ways "they mimic their hero by mocking and making fun of the other candidates AND their supporters" with childish and petty snide remarks.

They display the anger and impatience of youth while bashing and belittling the wisdom of age. Yet still we love them because they are our own sons and daughters and perhaps grandchildren. So we can understand their passion although we question their candidate. And come November 4th we will cast our vote accordingly…

there's no future with obama. he simply doesn't have enough exp to clean up bush's leftover. i'm a republican and i truly admire clinton's work as president. i think hilary is the way to go to revitalize us economy.

What do you expect from Sir Edmund Hillary Clinton.
Yes she lied to the great mountain climber and the rest of the world
that she was name after the man.

Friday she told Tyra Banks that the I have a Dream speech transfixed and transformed. Apparently not so much since she then went to campaign
for Goldwater who was adamantly oppossed to Civil Rights legislation, and invited openly racist southern democrats like strom thurmond and Jesse Helms to become Republicans.
