Benjamin: You are forgetting that black's are only about 16% of the population which will have little effect on a national scale only in a state or two like maybe S. Carolina will black's make much of a difference and all blacks aren't for Obama they still remember that Bill Clinton a democrat did more for them than any republican. Hillary will drown Obama in the big states. Go Hillary

democrat in NY: so you are proud of a liteweight all mouth no substance Obama? Most of you Clinton hater's can't stand a person smarter than you especially a Woman that's why you badmouth Hillary .What we need now more than ever is a brilliant person for president(which Hillary is) not someone who has nothing in his backgroung to qualify him to be president.Obama shout's change but never tell you what or how he would change anything.Obama is just a thin skined snakeoil salesman the republican's would chew him up and spit him out. Nominating Obama is a sure way to put another republican in the White House which this country or the world can't stand. GO Hillary

Billary will do anything to win. People seem to forget that Bill was impeached and had his law license taken because of lies. Also people who had information on them reqarding white-water and other things wound up dead. Let's turn the page and not go back to that mess. If 35yrs of experience gets you that, I'll take less experience and more integrity and good judgement. ROCK OBAMA 08

Robyn Great post: .Obama is now showing what a thin skin he has and if he is whineing about Clinton getting tough with him(which she should he doesn't deserve a free ride) wait (if God forbid he is nominated) the republican's will eat his lunch then quarter and field dress him.We need a strong leader now more than ever not some fly by night lite weight who would need training wheels-we've spent 7 plus years with that. Hillary has taken everything the republican's and clinton hater's have thrown at her for the past 30 year's so she is ready to take them on again Go Hillary

Hilliary Clinton is a "female version
George Bush", if she is elected she will DIVIDE this nation! She will insist that HER way is the ONLY way.... Listen to her speak, she only speaks of about what SHE will do in office, Barack speaks about working with the American people, the Republicans, the Independents to set our sights HIGHER and be the TRUE leader of the world...... Please don't be fooled by the Clintons..... Let's go forward.

To JR and bd:
plz tell me what is an african american job????
i am a physicist, and i am african american!

and to the rest, i don;t know much about the NV voting and i will not comment on things i don't have info on. i wish the rest of u would do the same. some of the people on this blog and others are so blind that they will not see any thing wrong.
what's wrong is this... the do any thing to win!!! if u are better, then prove it without slander, rascism, and distorting statements. i have always admired the clintons, but this win at any cost is to much. someone said integrity and character.
it all is lacking at this point, and for people that are from the same party at each other's necks is upsetting.
ask yourself this QUESTION," AM I JUST VOTING FOR HER BECAUSE SHE IS A LADY AND WHITE OR AM I JUST VOTING FOR HIM BECAUSE HE IS BLACK AND NO WOMAN SHOULD HAVE THAT JOB?"
if that is the only thing u have, then u have a major problem. get it together people...because we are leaving the door open to the republicans, again.

If Hillary (probably) gets the nomination, please don't automatically vote for the Republican! He most likely won't be any better. Consider all of the corruption and treachery that we've suffered through and use your vote for a third party. This is not 'wasting' your vote; on the contrary, unless your state is extremely tight like Florida in 2000, your vote for one of the major parties is worthless. It only serves to show them how many sheep they have in their flocks. A protest vote for a different party sends a message of dissatisfaction. If enough of us voted this way, it would make them take notice that the people have had enough!

I think Bilary supporters are completely off base. Obama's camp received over 1600 complaints of voter interference by Clinton supporters and now Clinton supporters are saying Obama is being a crybaby. Good grief. He is fighting for justice and democracy. The Clinton's used unfair tactics and now Clinton's supporters don't want to here about how the Bilary will do whatever in takes to be President again.

I can't vote since I live in Canada but go Obama!!! Edwards would also be good but he won't win. If Hilary wins the nomination I hope the Republicans win the election.

Since the Clinton's are counting on the Latino vote I hope they come out and vote for them because Blacks will stay home. I suggest that Blacks go out and vote for their state and local races if they have any important issues on the ballot and do not vote for president. Now if you really want the Clinton's to lose then vote republican the party that freed the slaves but didn't do much for the Blacks after that. I really feel that Blacks need to register as independents and let each party come a corting. If we survived bush for 8 years we can survive the next republican for 4 more years. Do you really want a dem to walk into the BIG mess that bush is leaving for the next president, think about.

If Bill thinks he can sweet talk Blacks into supporting Hillary after this dirty campaign he really needs to think again. He might be able to fool a few into voting for hillary but he will soon be dealing with the boomers he grew up with, who will tell him straight to his face to kiss where the sun don't shine!!!!

Bill and Hillary are playing the Blacks against the Latino's and this will cost them the election. If the Blacks overwhelmingly vote republican to keep hillary out and don't forget the white man who will not vote for her, she loses!!!!!

I'm looking forward the seeing the disappointment on hillarys face after she loses the election.

All~
I read through all of the previous posts..yes all of them. I think the most important thing to do is cast aside your previous bias and read the posts coming from the people that were actually present at the NV caucus. They were there, they saw what was going on. The rest of us are all just outsiders looking in trying to cast our opinion based on who we are supporting in this election. This story is not so much about the election as it is about voter rights.

The Clintons continue thier decades-long despicable rampage over anything that is right, decent and honest.

Americans can no longer afford to have this slash and burn, whatever it takes to win political mentality that essentially defines the Clinton way.

We must move on to a more practical, honest, team-building approach to democratic government. This is not something that either Clinton is capable of. Obama clearly is.

Have the courage to vote for Obama and help take us away from what has become a destructive political norm.

NO MORE CLINTONS; NO MORE BUSHES.

This has nothing to do about whining about the outcome of any primary.

It is about preserving the integrity of the election process. When irregularities of the type that have been suspected in NH and documented in NV occur, the public need to know this. The world watches our elections. How can we expect to support fledgling democracies when our own system operates with irregularities, voter intimidation, and out right lies. This should not be tolerated by the American People, regardless of who you support.

Saying that Sen. Obama is a sore loser because he is simply insisting on the integrity of the process, is in fact an intimidation process by the Clinton campaign. Regardless of who you support, we all should be united on ensuring that each vote is counted, and each person who wanted to vote is given that opportunity.

Who would you rather have? A president who is carrying on her husband's legacy for another 4 years or someone who really can inspire this nation to do great things?

There's certainly no inspiration with the Clintons.

Obama is the right choice.

It is so sad to see the Clinton Legacy go down in history to be the ones who use the Bush Adminstration tactics. I use to respect them so much but now even if Hilliary wins the nomination, I can not justify voting for her.

If Obama doesn't win, I will take a strong look at a canidate from the Repulican or Independent side (provided that the NY major runs.) That is sad for me to say because I've never voted outside the Democratic party but one thing is for sure, I will not vote for the Clintons. I'll stay home first.

Mr. Obama

Run as independent candidate for President in case Clintons win the Democratic Party nomination. You will win. If you are not Democratic Party candidate to run against republicans and you don’t run as independent then many people like us will surely vote for republican candidate.

Hillary is un-fair, her husband Mr. Bill seems to have lost all the sense in his quest to return back to White house (as first man of the country).

John Edward has no hope of getting nominated and is clearly eyeing the position of Vice-President as running mate of who ever gets the democratic nomination.

When did going through the proper channels to investigate possible fraud become whining OR a sign of weakness? Why do we have a system if we only criticize those who utilize it? If proper legal processes are weakness, I hope for all our sakes we get this kind of "weak" quality in all our leaders; I'll take that over sneaky behind-the-scenes tactics any day of the week.

cnn is not being fair about Hillary Clinton. cnn always holding Obama up no matter what is said about him or no matter what he says about Hillary or Bill clinton. You are wrong cnn, stop downing Hillary and Bill its not right.
No we have not seen a formal president campain for his wife because we have never had a formal president wife to run for president. Keep it up Bill and support Hillary. It terrible that Obama don't have enough respect to appreciate a formal president like Bill Clinton who have a great record to show that time was much better when he was president. SHAME ON YOU.

Clinton and Obama should be thrown out of the party for both of their behaviors!

atleast they should both bow out now before they destroy the country!

Let the real leader in this campaign the one that is true to the party take his "rightful" place in this election and accept his nominee as best candidate

so he can begin on day one!

did they really run a story entitled 'Obama and the slumlord'?
I mean...is this as good as it gets? I mean, why do they do that? Let spinsters decide what their headlines and pieces are going to be about. It's not that they're attacking obama, because a couple of weeks ago they did so many stories about hillary crying. It's just so lame.

People need to realize this is beyond Clinton v. Obama, this is the democratic process being bent over and screwed by the typical dirty politics that the post-Iowa Hillary has deployed. If she is the democratic nominee, we will see another 4 years of failure from presidency, regardless of who wins. Two families running the white house for (at least) 24 years is a disgrace to our forefathers. They revolted against monarchy and now America's uneducated voter is more content with putting the same people in office than actually trying to get things done. Hillary has not only received donations from people like Rupert Murdoch, but has depended on these donations. Obama has far more individuals donating than Hillary, and Edwards hasn't accepted anything from PACS or special interests. Hillary is a joke and might as well just flip America the bird for her shady tactics. Has anyone brought up the fact that all of Hillary's victories in NH came from precincts that used primarily computer voting? Hmmm...lets think...every poll shows her losing, then suddenly, she wins? Come on people. Not to mention, Hillary didn't really win Nevada, she won Vegas. She has less elected delegates than Obama. If she has only a few more delegates in the end, it will only prove that not only the electoral college destroys democracy, but our nomination process is flawed too.

Having read both PDF files, both parties indicate that their lawyers have names and witnesses. There may or may not be something there. In reading both responses I think that the Clinton lawyer had a much more professional presentation, but again if true facts can be ascertained then an investigation might reveal more than just a single instant and not from only one side.

I would like, however, to offer this as thought. President Clinton knew there were things being done prior to the caucus. Is it possible, and I use the word possible, that there was a behind-the-scenes investigation being done? That, instead of making a public display out of this incident they planned to or were already conducting discrete inquiries?

I am quite certain that neither ourselves nor the news media have any idea about what was happening officially in this regard. It is possible that these things might have been addressed quietly and with dignity. No matter what happens now, that is no longer possible.

The bottom line is Obama has no plans , has no platform, has nothing. He cannot debate issues because he would not know an issue if it hit him in the head. He believes that the election should be handed to him today. All Obama can do is whine.
How come we never hear of his real estate deal in Chicago?
Hillary is the best choice.
Any Democrat that says they would vote republican deserves what they get from 4 more years of Bushesque mismanagement and deceipt.

I love all the Republicans who now pretend they'll vote for Obama in the general election. "If Hillary gets nominated, I'll definitely vote Republican"...like you weren't planning to anyway. Obviously your preference has nothing to do with issues like the war or health care or recession or the deficit or taxpayer funded exportation of US manufacturing or no bid contracts for Republican campaign donors or third world response to natural and manmade disasters, etc.

Obama's the GOP's only hope of retaining the White House. They know they'll rip him to shreds if he's nominated. His middle name alone is enough to lose the election.

He's a Chicago machine politician. You don't crawl out of that sewer and smell like a rose. Do your own due diligence. He's not even fit for VP.

He's a deliberately blank slate. Dupes can fill in the blanks however they please. His true supporters are dreamers. Witness this blog and the empty slogans.

He had a future until his premature and sad debacle of campaign. Too bad he's impatient and impolitic. He could have been a contender.

Give me a break. Did hillary push you down on the playground little obama? Should we find a private insurance company to kiss it with thousand dollar bills and make it better? This is unacceptable, our presidential candidates are acting like spoiled, rude little children. Forget them both. Why is this even a news story?
How about we get some coverage on what these two.. AND John Edwards views and policies are instead?

Do we want a repeat of 2000 and 2004, when people were not allowed to vote and we got George Bush as president for 8 years? We need to take voting more serious in this country. People have died so I can have the right to vote and if someone is being denied their constitutional right to vote, it is wrong. Whether you like Obama or not, it is still the right thing to do if there is voting fraud going on. If there was voting fraud going on in Iowa, then Clintons camp should have filed a complaint. Dont file a complaint after someone filed one against you. That is petty.

I am still trying to understand why is it wrong for Obama to talk about his race and not wrong for Clinton to talk about her gender. We all know that if one of them wins the presidency it will make history. I dont need either one of them to remind me that he is black or that she is a woman. I have eyes I can see. I just want the best person to be president.

To be perfectly honest, Billary thought the White House was in the bag...and then Iowa happened and Billary came in third. THAT shook their world and since that time they have taken the low road by spewing lies in an attempt to gain political advantage.

Let the record speak for itself:

Legislative Experience - Barack Obama - 8 years in the Illinois Senate and 2+ years in the U.S. Senate a total of approximately 11 years. Hillary - 7 years in the U.S. Senate. Who has more experience?

Supporter of Civil and Human Rights - Barack Obama served the communities of Chicago where he became a community organizer working to improve conditions for people living in poor neighborhoods; practiced law as a civil rights attorney. Hillary - While Dr. King was leading a non-violent movement for social change, putting pressure on President Johnson to sign the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Hillary was supporting the candidacy of Barry Goldwater, the same Barry Goldwater who voted against the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Ooops! So much for civil and human rights.

Bill and Hillary Clinton are behaving quite like the Bushes. If they have respect of themselves and the institution they have headed before, i.e. the Democratic party, they better talk the mother and father language than drag a vibrant young promising politician into the mud. The words they use will be used against them once she's nominated as Demo candidate. Play it cool....., just throw issues and not DIRTY..., you won't win like that for sure!

I think that it is right to investigate the claims. Voter supression is a serious issue, and if they are true, it shows the Clinton campaign cares too much about winning and not enough about democracy.

it is becoming quite clear that obama can not take the heat. so he complaining about the party. when someone goes to such lenghs to complain about losing, he has something he is hiding. he refuses to discuss the issues. every debate the only thing he can do is attack hillary and bill. next he will be attacking chelsea. just by saying the words change does not mean its going to happen. he started this mess. i think it is time for howard dean to step in. he needs to put obama in his place. if he can not discuss the real issues, he should get out. go hillary!!!!!!!!

Can any of you explain to me how OBAMA is destroying the dem party?

He received over 1600 complaints by his supporters of voter intimidation by Billary and is STANDING UP for them and their voices. This is a GOOD thing.

I know you all are used to arrogant, agressive politics. Get over it. Obama will be our next pres.

Bill and Hillary Clinton have become as divisive to the Democratic party as Gerorge Bush and Dick Cheney have been to our country. Accusing Barack Obama of espousing Republican philosophies and praising Ronald Regan was stupid and irresponsible.

Lets hope for either a Obama/Clinton or Clinton/Obama ticket with John Edwards taking the place of Attorney General

I read both the Obama letter, which seems to have been sent out first, and the Clinton letter. The Clinton letter merely mirrors the Obama letter. It seems that the Clinton's were given a copy of the Obama letter then simply copied issues of complaint. I dont know, it seems rather fishy. I hate to think of Hillary conducting her camp in an unethical fashion but I have seen the light. She has disappointed me.

My vote is without doubt going to Barack Obama as well as the vote of my friends and family.

Let's Barack the vote!!!!

I find irony in all of this. 8 years ago the people who praised the clintons, are now bashing them....... Why? I have heard all the reasons. Where is the sudden discontent coming from? We know republicans dislike hill and bill.
We democrats Have one goal to take back the presidency. I wish Hillary and Obama could remember that. We the voters should as well. If you are true dems save the mud-slinging for the republicans. The dems should be pursuing a victory regardless of the winner.

Get real. How likely is it that a Union Worker would threaten an Employee like that in front of Bill Clinton??? GET REAL. There seems to be a pattern, whatever Clintons SAY is happening to THEM...is what THEY will do next to the Opponent. Very calculating people. Scary.

"I hope the Obama supporters TiVo'd the debate this past week, maybe you can play it back and see WHO really started the mudslinging instead of coming out ready to discuss the issues of this election. In case you have not been paying close attention, the Obama campaign has resorted to the same tactics that every political race has ever succumbed to because the Obama camp is no better or any different than any other candidate's camp. They capitalize on every sound bite & spin it just like every political camp does. Did you really think he was different"?

I agree Obama was defensive, however was that without reason? For weeks Bill and Hillary BOTH have made inaccurate statements regarding Obama's record. they have continually mis-quoted his statements. Their supporters chave made snide and rude remarks . What did you think??? The man was going to continue NOT to fight back????? When you play in the same arena with 'The Clintons" ,you had better adopt their "tactics" or be eaten alive....
Obama is not a sore loser...the problem is "The Clintons", never expected to be in this position...Hillary nor Bill expected this type of competition, and especially not from the Obama campaign. LOL!LOL! Obama and his supporters have every reason to 'hold their heads high' win or lose...because the "truth" of this matter is Obama is giving "The Clintons" a run for their money....LOL!LOL!

WOW! The differences between the candidates and their supports are crystal clear. I'm so glad I'm an Obama supporter. We need our country to focus on issues. Obama didn't make a public accusation - he filed a legitimate complaint which was followed by a Clinton attempt to deny by accusation.
The Clinton hostility (both of them) and misrepresentations are signs of how they would run the country. They're skilled, but not in the tactics I'd be proud to see used in the Oval Office. I'd like to trust the next President and be proud of our country.
