mad insane McCain is not true conservative, he's baffon at best. He has served this country honorably in the military, but that is all I can give him.

Voting Democrat in protest is not the right thing to do. Obama and Hilary are worse than any of the Republican candidates. You really should stick to the Republicans and select the best candidate from our selection. Obama or Hilary will be a worse disaster than Bush ever was!

The difference between the Democrat debates and Republican debates should be a warning for what it will be like if Obama or Hilary wins. The Republicans were intelligent and spoke about the issues last night. The Democrats attack each other personally like a reality show. I felt like I was watching Jerry Springer.

Please reconsider voting Democrat in protest. It will be a HUGE mistake if one of those fools gets into office!

Fred Thompson – calling himself a conservative? True

The Republican Party has left it Reagan-coalition conservative base, as it panders to all... vice standing on principles.

I am voting Democrat for the first time ever this year, in protest.

If Bush is not the worst president, then he is definately in the bottom of the barrel. McCain is repulsive. We will be a third world country soon if we elect people like McCain. I wish America would wake up and think for themselves. Not because a republican said something or because a democrat said something. What do you think for yourself.

Someone else mentioned Condoleezza Rice as VP. It would be great to give her the nod so that Americans can finally ask her fairly and publicly about her position as National Security Advisor under Bush. What was she doing (or not doing) when the false claims were presented about yellow cake from Niger? She was to advise the president to ensure the claims were true before proceeding on the evidence. What happened to her responsibilities?

Regarding Roberta McCain's point, I used to like John McCain’s policies before he abandoned his centrist positions to become another Bush neoconservative. It is unfortunate for someone I used to admire as a politician.

This wonderful woman – 95 years old, still vital (you're right you posters, that's one reason McCain has his guts) speaks out on behalf of her son ... and y"all find a reason to criticize both the senator AND his mother!

The reason that Sen McCain "can't comb" his hair is that he was tortured so brutally as a POW of North Vietnam for 5+ years, resulting in a permanent loss of use.

I personally do not agree with several of his positions, most notably abortion. But, unlike 90% of the candidates on either side, he has been consistent – he supports the present position in Iraq (remember, he is a Naval Academy graduate and Vietman vet with two sons in the military, one on active duty in Iraq) .

I am so sick of those who obfuscate and lie their way to the Presidency – maybe this year there are two authentic candidates – John McCain and Barack Obama. And may the electorate consider each on their record, merits, plans and ideas for this country be our leader for the next four years.

I know Sen. McCain is probably flinching a little bit, but such bluntness without regard to consequence or smarmy, back-handed attacks on any particular candidate is refreshing, to say the least.

Well, then maybe you shouldn't be speaking. Let's hear from the candidates, I'm tired/bored of McCain's Mom and Sly Stallone and Chuck Norris and Bill Clinton and the list goes on speaking for the candidates. At least Oprah stopped showing her face after just ONE weekend. If only the others could have the same sense as the queen of daytime talk.
