(CNN) - Bill Clinton engaged with a heckler head on Thursday at a Denver campaign stop.
The former president had just begun his speech when a man began to shout about 9/11 conspiracies.
As security attempted to escort him out, Clinton stopped his speech, saying, "What are you screaming about? Let him talk."
"Are you one of those it-was-an-inside-job guys? Let me tell you something…I let you be rude and interrupt me, scream at the top of your lungs. 9/11 was not an inside job; it was an Osama bin Laden job with 19 people from Saudi Arabia," Clinton continued. "They murdered 3000 Americans and others foreigners, including over 200 other Muslims. And we look like idiots, folks, denying that the people who murdered our fellow citizens did it when they are continuing to murder all around the world. So we heard from you: you go away."
The heckler lacks intelligence - most likely an Obama supporter.
probably someone from the obama camp.
Bill Clinton and Hillary both have attended the BilderBurg Group. A group of some of the most influential people in the world. There are no reports about it, and there is no coverage of it, why?
I'm not saying 9/11 was an inside job, but there is something wrong with the way 9/11 is portrayed and used against all of us who question the authenticity of it.
Right on Bill Clinton!
Regardless of what candidate you support, you gotta support your country!
An ex-president, a mining deal and a big donor
Huge Kazakh deal follows financier’s trip with Clinton, precedes donation
that was great. I love you Bill.
See. the Clintons bring SUBSTANCE over rhetoric. Obama is such a nightmare. He just does not know what he is doing.
Here is another Dem going for McCain or staying home if Obama gets the nomination. and I am black.
Looking forward to see how the Obama worshipers spin this against Hillary. I've got popcorn in hand . . .
Seriously, this topic aside, shouldn't all the candidates SPOUSES go on speaking tours to show their support for their "other half"? Bill just needs to go look at some scrapbooks of his 8 years in office and SHUT UP. Bill needs to stop beating the Hillary drum and bow out.
Yeah Bill!
Not a big fan of Bill but I respect his standing up to the nutroots. I guess this means that Rosie won't be contributing to Hillary's campaign.
This has happened before at Clinton rallies, and Bill always seems ready for it. If anyone on the campaign trail is to blame, then Hillary herself is the more likely candidate. It's always good for an easy headline (thanks, CNN!), and Lord knows she needs those more than ever nowadays.
I love how every time someone says something negative about the Clintons it must be some inside job by an Obama supporter. As if they are the only ones that could possibly dislike them.
Bill Clinton has taken on a lot criticism for his off-the-cuff remarks lately, much of it unfair criticism. Bill has been fed numerous insulting questions, the best example of which was the reporter that had the nerve to ask Bill, "so what does it say of Obama that it takes both Hillary and you to beat him" in South Carolina. The reporter failed to qualify his question by acknowledging the widely accepted fact that Obama had a demographic advantage in South Carolina. Bill simply reminded the rude reporter of Obama's demographic advantage in a gentle and indirect manner, invoking Jesse Jackson as a historical example; but alas, it was Bill who was vilified.
Bill Clinton deserves praise for his no-nonsense, matter-of-fact speeches, where he does not shy away from critics, but intelligently rattles off solutions for issue after issue in a manner which leaves Obama's motivational rhetoric sounding hollow and aloof.
Hillary '08
President Clinton is right to take on this heckler. There is no need to mention Senator Clinton or Senator Obama is this thread. God knows there are plenty of other threads on CNN that set that up for Obama and Hillary supporters.
CNN A clear example that the CLINTON's are listening, folks! He even stopped his speech to hear the heckler, gave him his chance to talk and then replied. Way to go Bill Clinton,
I was at his and Chelsy's event in Oklahoma City yesterday Jan. 30. Over 5,000 people packed the feild house on O.U. campus. He never put anyone down, gave a very nice speech, had the young crowd energized. Not even the person that the press tries to present. Chelsy also took questions from the students while her father attended a private fundraiser. The Oklahoma City crowd welcomed them open heartedly and there were NO hecklers.
Clinton has my VOTE!!!
Break out the kool-aid and popcorn, here come the Obamabots.
Sorry ex Pres, I voted for you but if you think I want to listen to your ramblings and dotty pontificating for another 4 years with Hillary in the Oval Office I say right back at you:
WE HEARD FROM YOU, BILL, YOU GO AWAY!!
No, Yuck, you shut up. Just because you dont have a loved one who fights for you, you dont have to hate people who are loved and protected by someone. All of us Hillary followers, were not doing this for the money, were doing this because we know shes capable of changing the world for the better, despite you haters say. Go get a date or something so you wouldnt hate people who hasnt done anything evil to you. Check out the gas prices, check out if you can pay your mortgage still. If you cant get married, its probably because all the men our out there dying or returning damaged.
Nice try to build your image back bill, but you don't fool me. Yeah right, plant someone to yell about 9/11 being an inside job so you can respond as a true patriot after your kazakGATE ($131m) scandal on the news today.
I can just see it now, using your image to convince presidents to give contracts to your friends who will later donate to you; telling that hillary will do what i say because i'm her husband.
I don't doubt your patriotism but i doubt your honesty. I wonder why the guy of all issues chosed to yell about 9-11 and not your new scandal KazakGATE. Another milestone bill, keep it up but not with my tax dollars. Go home, Obama please come and clean the white house and as a constitutional lawyer Investigate the past 20years of the Presidency and jail all of them found guilty.
All the spouses do go out and speak for their "other half". Bill Clinton is brillant and from the town hall I watched on line yesterday, everyone should have a chance to hear him speak on behalf of Hillary.
No doubt Clinton feels guilty
Racist Bill is opening his mouth again. I thought the Clinton campaign was going to put him on the sidelines.
Never thought I would say this..... but good for Bill
If Saudi Arabians did it why are we in Iraq? Why are we even having this discussion still? Trillions of dollars into debt now for a war which has no merit. Sad really. War benefits no one. Love, not war. Peace, not hate. Forgiveness, not revenge.
