WASHINGTON (CNN) – Heading into the remaining days before Super Tuesday, all the presidential campaigns are facing the same conundrum: too much ground to cover in a finite amount of time.

To maximize the calendar, campaigns are relying on free media pick-up in key February 5 states and high-profile surrogates to stump for the candidates whose time is better used in closely competitive or must-win states.

Hillary Clinton's campaign is putting together a 22-city townhall on Super Tuesday eve in an effort to put the final touch on supporters and undecided voters.

The New York senator will host the session from New York City. Her campaign says she will field questions from a live audience as well as from gatherings in other cities — from San Francisco and Denver to Grand Forks, North Dakota — that will all be connected via satellite.

President Bill Clinton and Chelsea Clinton are scheduled to participate. The 90-minute townhall will be simulcast on the campaign's website, and the first hour will be broadcast live on the Hallmark channel.

Daygo - then why did she vote to label the Iranian Guard a terrorist organization, knowing that it gives W a green light on Iran?

OKLAHOMA   February 4th, 2008 1:03 am ET

Are other candidates having similar events? I have questions for all of them. This is a novel idea. Thank you Hillary.

Daygo Parkerdorcas   February 2nd, 2008 11:47 am ET

Hillary you are the one. The next Commander and Chief. Went to vote Wed. and saw something so wonderful, this lady which was about 80yrs young. She was a die hard rep. that was changing to dem. so she could vote for Hillary. What a wonderful thing to see. Young are old. Man are Women just vote. I would like to see Hillary team up with John of American's Most Wanted. Know one has said this, but we have a big problem in this country when women and children are being raped and killed with no one going to jail. One more point. I do not know why people want Hillary to say I sorry for voteing for the war most American's was behind GW on the war. It seems we were all shocked When he started to miss use this power that was given to Him. Which one of us could no then what we know now?????

Eli   February 1st, 2008 10:48 pm ET

Go Hillary!

In` 2002 Obama's opinion on the war had no effect in the senate. In 2006 he
supported Lieberman -a war monger-.thus denying the Democratic congress
a vote AGAINST the war. People need to be reminded of this.

Also, in my opinion, the Republicans want Obama as the Democratic candidate.
He will be FRESH RAW MEAT for them. They will explode the Antoin Rezko
scandal on his face. Imagine a man who is accused of fraud, attempted extortion
and money laundering plus federal charges alleging that he swindled General
Electric Capital Corp. of 10 million dollars! (Miami Herald-1/29/08)

Obama admitted to George in"This week with George S….."last Sunday on ABC
that Mr. Rezko was a long time friend of his who "messed up" He also stated
that he (Obama) made a mistake in purchasing real estate from this slum-lord.
Also, Obama waited till the prosecutors in Rezko's case unsealed their charges
before he gave away the $10,500 donated by Mr. Rezco.

The Republicans are quiet now because they can't wait to tear into Obama if
he is the Democratic candidate.

WHAT IS WORSE THAN BUSH IS HAVING A PRESIDENT OF COLOR AND
A WHITE CONGRESS.

Kathy DePaul   February 1st, 2008 10:38 pm ET

I originally was a Barack Obama fan and his change for America speeches. After all the many years of George Bush, I, as many Americans, are desperate for change. After seeing Hillary Clinton last evening in the debate and hearing her speak in the last few weeks, I am now a Hillary Clinton voter. She speaks eloquently, is a true lady, has the experience, the perserverance and is 100% on the side of the American people. She can get the job done and done well. VOTE HILLARY CLINTON!!!

1Marilyn   February 1st, 2008 4:18 pm ET

Hillary, Good Job! While listening to CNN I heard a person in Kenya state that when Barack became president that Obama would help Kenya out. I hope that he was only telling tales because I hate the thought of another war.

Pilgrim   February 1st, 2008 10:52 am ET

It doesn't matter if the next president is male or female, black or white. It only matters who is the BEST person for this awesome job. Obama is a great leader, but pales in experience compared to Hillary. He has many wonderful ideas for our great country, but most of Hillarys are even better. I think Obama will be our president, but not this time around. What I forsee as the unbeatable team is Hillary as President and Obama as Vice President. Obama will have 8 years to be taught all the inner workings of the office and learn all he can under the experience of Hillary and her cabinet, which he is sadly lacking at the present. We, hopefully, as a country, would benefit from this union with many years of peace and prosperity. We need to have a government who cares about ALL of us, and pays attention to what WE SAY!

Luis   January 31st, 2008 7:39 pm ET

Hillary is the best candidate. An we, as latinos, will go for her this Tuesday.

She is the one who has presented clearly her plan to bring America back and has support it whith her record and actions in favor of the American people.

Hillary, los latinos te queremos a ti por amplio margen. Latinos, es nos toca a nostros apoyar este martes a quien nos apoyado por las pasadas decadas, Hillary Clinton. ( Hillary, we, the latinos, want you by huge margin. Latinos, this Tuesday it is our tome to support whom has support us for the past decades, Hillary Clinton)

Super Tuesday is Hillary's day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jason McDowell, Louisiana   January 31st, 2008 7:27 pm ET

I have to say that both candidates have great ideas and both have the heart and drive to change the direction of this country, but as a man that really wants things done and done as quick as possible I have to vote for someone that knows how to get these things done and done quick, so my vote has to be for Sen. Clinton, I feel that Obama is a bit green yet, though he does want the best for America but Hillary wants the same and knows how to get it done maybe in 8 more years I will feel that Obama is ready for such a task but not just yet. Maybe if he and Hillary can start to be civil to one another they could run on the same ticket with those two on the same ticket they would be unstoppable!! So I urge everyone to vote for Hillary!

Rachel   January 31st, 2008 6:51 pm ET

Go Hillary!!! Most of us are intelligient enough to syphon between the crap that is being spewed and the media bias to know that what really matters are the issues at hand and the experience and knowledge that Hillary has. If in doubt, watch the debate. Hillary will defeat Obama tonight as she always has in the past. But of course, the bashers will be on here whining afterwards and CNN and other media will be highlighting just Obama as usual. I swear I would fall over if they actually said something POSITIVE about Hillary. CNN- Please prove me wrong. I dare ya!

L in Florida   January 31st, 2008 6:00 pm ET

YOU GO GIRL. NOTHING CAN STOP YOU NOW. YOUR ON YOUR WAY TO BECOME THE FIRST WOMAN PRESIDENT AND AM GLAD TO BE PART OF HISTORY.

TEAM HILLARY OF FLORIDA 08

TIH   January 31st, 2008 5:43 pm ET

Hillary - Pack up your baggage and GO HOME -wherever that is. Illinois, Arkansas, or New York? We've seen and heard enough from you. Your election to President would be a disaster for America. Four more years of total nothingness in our government would result. Clinton versus the Republicans and vice versa. Be a true patriot and QUIT.

Alexa   January 31st, 2008 5:38 pm ET

Speaking of Kindergarten, DecFario, Obama should grow up. He didn't just snub Hillary at the SOTU but also at a recent debate. She went over to greet him after the debate. He looked past her and walked away. He's lucky she hasn't brought this to the public's attention.

JOHN   January 31st, 2008 5:23 pm ET

GO HILLARY GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And as for you Obama supporters if you notice your "Obama - an untried candidate, to be sure" as post noted in treir endorsement he is the one who always strarting the negative attacks, and all from his political mashine (same mashine that all the politicians use all those years. Something is is the news today your mashine udjust to that. Hillary won Florida, obama went to the offencive. And don't blame Bill again.

We wiil be with you Hillary tonight in our hearts. show them who is the "tried and proven" to be a president.

HILLARY 2008!!!!!

ObamaNot   January 31st, 2008 5:19 pm ET

the reason you dont see more comments from hillary supporters is that cnn only leaves about 1 in 4 comments in support of her. The rest are kept in moderation and then deleted. I know - most of my commets have been deleted. As a psychologist i have been doing a little experiment here and its pretty apparent how cnn is trying to make it appear that obama has the overwhelming support. I am pretty sure this will face the same fate.

bec   January 31st, 2008 5:18 pm ET

lets see if cnn puts my comment on since i put the article about the bill clinton donation in my comment and then you would all have to be forced to read the truth…..go read esquire magazine, since this was written about 2 years ago and obamas people are just trying to find more bad stuff to write….GET THE FACTS PEOPLE>>>>HILLARY 08

cheryl Arizona   January 31st, 2008 5:14 pm ET

Does it not worry you that Obama is pushing so hard for republican votes? Does it not worry you that the republicans are pushing Obama as the nominee? It will not be any different for Obama if he has to run against the republicans. If you think he is going to get a free ride you are in for a surprise. If he runs against McCain they will both be fighting for the independents which McCain does get equal to Obama especially if they normally lean republican. Think before you vote. Look at the issues not at what the media tells you.

artheals   January 31st, 2008 4:34 pm ET

Hillary is the ONLY chance for this country. She is a tested candidate who has made change for Americans her whole life. Not only that, she has already been tested with the garbage patrol and survived every time. She is the ONLY candidate who has the multi-dimensional knowledge of the complex issues that face our country and has realistic plans to address these issues. We really can't afford a president who needs to cut his teeth in the oval office–we need a knowledgeable statesperson who can begin to dig this country out of deep problems from day one. We really can't afford an unknown entity in the Whitehouse–we cannot take the chance. Obama is a good man, but it is not his time. Let Hillary get the house in order first.

anngonzalez   January 31st, 2008 4:19 pm ET

Tucker Carlson is beefing up his Hillary attacks — those hate mongers are terrified the Democrats will see through Obama's false call for unity and the reeps will have to take on Hillary.

I can only hope we, the progressives, do realize that Obama's glossy cover to his mean and divisive rhetoric will only shine for so long. HIllary has the grit and stamina to take back the Whitehouse.

Hillary 08!

emanga   January 31st, 2008 4:09 pm ET

funny thing is whenever Obama makes his "scripted" speeches they inspire people, you get goosbumbs and chills from his speeches on the future and the pormise of Change (which is something IF YOU ALL REMEMBER Hillary "borrowed for her own campaign) …as for that old hag hillary her scripted speeches makes even her die hard supporters want to fall asleep (watch her psot primary speeches not an open eye in the house). You can't use your husbands success as president to fuel your own campaign….oh hillary when will she ever learn
Obama 08′ !!!!!

ME   January 31st, 2008 3:58 pm ET

Hillary Clinton has been a mom for 27 years……

A mom knows how to say NO…… to anyone who's doing wrong
A mom knows how to get the Senate and Congress to get along and play nice…
A mom knows how to get children (politicians) to share
A mom knows how to budget money
A mom knows how to clean up a mess
A mom knows how to be neighborly when neighbors are fighting
A mom knows how to protect her family to no end

It really takes a mom to fix the problems we face today……wouldn't you say so?

ralf herfurth   January 31st, 2008 3:56 pm ET

What America needs is new energy and impulse to regain the respect and relationships that have made it the world leader. Obama has this energy and abilty to inspire this trust and rebuild the relationships with our partners that we need to get back on track. We do not need any more of the past given what happened in the past with the Clintons but a new inspiring leader to get us on the right track again. Go Obama, americans in europe are with you.

Kim   January 31st, 2008 3:56 pm ET

Looking forward to Super Tuesday when Hillary can have her night in the spotlight - winning at least 18 states and their delegates. Let's see where the momentum is then.

roger Evans   January 31st, 2008 3:53 pm ET

The choice could not be more clear. HILLARY 08.

TrueThis   January 31st, 2008 3:52 pm ET

Toronto Girl, i'm not afraid to vote for a woman for President. Just not this one. Maybe she'll use that money from the mining deal with Kazah from Canada (poor human rights) to furnish the Super Tuesday.

American Girl   January 31st, 2008 3:43 pm ET

Toronto girl…we aren't "afraid" to have a woman president…we just don't want this one. We know this one…we know she lacks character and takes a lot of liberty with the truth. Some of us don't remember the 90's that favorably…trust me on that.

Maybe…I'm just saying just maybe you should research some of the scandals that plagued this country when the Clintons were in office. I'll include Hillary in the plural there since she claims that for her experience.

Erick   January 31st, 2008 3:39 pm ET

Go hillary this is an awesome idea!

charlotte   January 31st, 2008 3:36 pm ET

Way to go Hillary, Super Tuesday is so close. Looking forward to the debate tonight. No re-writes when you're on stage, get him off stride and you got him, take away his script and he is not so inspiring!

Ray   January 31st, 2008 3:35 pm ET

Did I Read That Right??? - Im sure you did because thats all the press and media does now is slam Hillary or Bill. NObama is their golden child now. They are scared to question him on anything because he will cry they people are pickingon him……

The Republicans are going to tear him UP if he gets the nomination.

GO HILLARY!!

DecFario, New york NY   January 31st, 2008 3:34 pm ET

Marissa,

Is this the same Clinton with more important things to do, that was rummaging through Obama's Kindergarten essays?

Marissa   January 31st, 2008 3:23 pm ET

Speaking of scandles, I am sure there are many that could be rounded up on Obama. Fortunately, Hillary has more important things to do. This is a great idea Hillary and I think that many voters will tune in and some might even change their votes over to you if they are currently voting for another!

C.Lo   January 31st, 2008 3:22 pm ET

An ex-president, a mining deal and a big donor

Huge Kazakh deal follows financier’s trip with Clinton, precedes donation

D. Winn   January 31st, 2008 3:21 pm ET

Hillary is THE ONE this country needs NOW.
Her brains, courage, gutts, experience and savy can save this country (and
more).
Let inexperience play its role in four or eight.

Kris   January 31st, 2008 3:20 pm ET

Great idea Hillary. Ignore the Hillary bashers. Obama supporters and more so the media would not be so bias against you if you weren't a threat.

Go Hillary!

Did I Read That Right???   January 31st, 2008 2:58 pm ET

Did I read that right…A $31.3 Million donation to Clinton's "charitable foundation" from a Kazakhstan (Russian) uranium miner with ties to nothing short of a dictator?

Did I read that right, there is another $100 million to follow to the William Jefferson Charitable Foundation. And it just slipped Bill's memory until he was reminded of it.

Hmmmmmm seems to me like there may be some more political favors owed by the Clintons.

Give me a Break! And we hear how Hillary's worried about foreing, soverign investments in the United States…yeah really? Give me a break…just give me a break Clintons.

Katherine   January 31st, 2008 2:56 pm ET

The article didn't mention what time this event is supposed to take place. Why?

Cate Keating   January 31st, 2008 2:49 pm ET

Mike - Stand for change or Fall for the Same - see ya as you go falling over the cliff - me thinks you have been bamboozled by the rhetoric - Obama/Ted Kennedy attached at the hip now - yeah change alright - wonder what he promised Ted for the endorsement - and all of those other "old school" dems backing Obama - are you that naive - yeah, wait a minute - you believe all the news politcos and pundits, you must be American!

Toronto Girl   January 31st, 2008 2:48 pm ET

Why american so scare to vote for a woman, other country has beaten you to the
very game you start - equal rights for men and women.

Ron   January 31st, 2008 2:47 pm ET

Jim!

What scandal? Is it walmart?

Link question

observer   January 31st, 2008 2:46 pm ET

These endorsements frrom Hulk Hogan make news? Who cares! The working people are the endorsements we really want to hear. As a member of a major union, our International made the choice to endorse Hillary Clinton based on polling members. We are 180,000 strong . That should have been news, not Hulk Hogan. Amalgamated Transit Union proudly endorsed Hillary. She has been a friend both to the transit workers and the people who need a transit system. Vote Hillary!

Ali Bie   January 31st, 2008 2:45 pm ET

Who but someone in Congress, knows what to change? Just imagine being in Hillary's shoes. She has worked very hard for the 'not heard'. I'd like to know precisely what is your needs that she won't fulfill? What is the substance of Obama's "change"?
In my household, I make sure things run smoothly. I've raised 5 children. I leave nothing to chance, covering all aspects of future goals. This is what I see in Hillary. She is a champion of geting things done, when she can. And she never forgets failed attempts, to keep them on the front agenda, if possible.
She is a champ, in my opinion.

Tammy   January 31st, 2008 2:42 pm ET

I have listened for months now to all of the bantering back and forth between the Clinton and Obama Campaigns. I started as a Hillary supporter for several reasons, but I have been trying to keep an open mind about all of the candidates especially Obama. I was open to anyone but GWB!! All I seem to hear is that he has charisma and how his speeches are awe inspiring. I have YET to really hear anything of substance. I would love to hear reasons why I should change my vote at this late date. At the last debate Obama started slamming Hillary right out of the gate. Tired of the slam tactics from any candidate. Obama is very inexperienced and that scares me a lot. I have no doubt how tough or how much leadership Hillary would show if we are ever in a crisis again. Charisma, able to give a good speech or being an attack dog does not a president make and before anyone says that Bill Clinton is Hillary’s attack dog now let us take a look at how the other spouses became attack dogs for their husbands.

I just hope that Americans make the right choice this time. I support Hillary, but would be quite happy with Obama as well.

Joe   January 31st, 2008 2:41 pm ET

22 cities with hundreds of people asking questions, and I bet she STILL won't answer the hard questions!

-How- will you fix social security? -How- will you fix immigration? -How- will you get troops out of Iraq? -How- will you get health care done this time, even though last time you failed so miserably? -How- will you get ANYTHING done when the Republicans will be squarely "Anti-Hillary, Anti-Clinton" in EVERY vote?
