Although John McCain has successfully labeled Mitt Romney as a flip-flopper, he has skated free on many of his position changes such as immigration, Bush tax cuts and even abortion. The democrats will have so much fun with this as Obama alluded to tonight in referring to his flip-flopping with the Bush tax cuts.

What would be Obama's position on the war in Iraq if there HAD been WMD's? Although we dodged a bomb by not finding any if there had been then he would say he believes in peace not war.....that really worked on 9/11 for us. We need someone who can make tough choices and even if we have to show our muscles!!!!

Another comment: Barack is talking about the war, and american interests. OIL. Why can't they spend 200 billion dollars on 'american interests' in terms of ridding ourselves of the oil dependency, that, in all honesty, is the root reason for the Iraq war, instead of reinforcing the war machine, year after year, time after time? Let's be honest here, no more Mother Of All Jobs Programs, but this ties into the 'use of force' in lieu of Congress, as a body, living up to its' responsibility of making a formal declaration of war in accordance with the War Powers Act of 1973, which was written in response to the LAST protracted Forever War. War, peace, 2 different words, different spelling, different meaning, kind of binary, kind of like a standard light switch, on/off. Speaking of light switches, what's the Barack position on conservation? Personal practices can make a HUGE dent in energy consumption. Details, details. Ike warned us. No one listened.

McCain is for making the tax cuts permanent because by not extending them it would mean a tax increase.

McCain has never voted for a tax increase in 25 years in congress.

Just one thought. Of the two top Republican candidates Mitt Romney is the man to beat the Democrats. McCain has been in Washington too long. Obama's point of Republicans spending too much in Washington doesn't apply to Mitt. There is no argument there. He doesn't come from Washington. Now what is the argument?

A great example of what type leader Obama would be. He recognizes the positives and is not afraid to point out the negatives. Exactly the way he did with his reference to Ronald Reagan. Other Democrats consider it taboo to even hint at praise to any Republican. How do they expect to cross party lines with this type of schoolyard behavior.

I think it's a very strange love-hate relationship between the candidates, or moreover, a front love, real hate relationship. I find that between Hillary + Barack w/ healthcare their differences are mainly small policy issues, that don't really amount to much, but in the case of Illegal Immigration, it's a little different. Between McCain, there are much bigger differences, even though Barack + McCain have worked together on some by-partisan issues in the Senate
