Richardson to watch Super Bowl with Bill Clinton

Richardson served as Clinton's Energy Secretary and U.N. Ambassador.

(CNN) - CNN has learned that New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson will watch the Super Bowl this Sunday with former President Bill Clinton in Red River, New Mexico.

Despite the obvious implications for the much sought after endorsement of Richardson, a Hispanic who holds sway in the community, a top Democratic source describes this as "two old friends getting together, and not to be "construed as a coming endorsement."

Nonetheless, Richardson is not unaware of the power of that picture. The former president has been phoning Richardson “with regularity” since he dropped out of the Democratic presidential race.

Richardson spokesman Pahl Shipley said the office does not comment on the governor’s private schedule.

A am soooo disappointed in Bill Richardson. Biden used to tease him he wouldn't get a cabinet position...guess he sold out after all. Why would he want to be seen with Slick Willey anyway. The look on his face shows he isn't too impressed with whatever lies are coming out of Clinton's mouth.

    Obama/Edwards 08.

Male bonding is a good thing and why shouldn't two old friends watch the football game together?

Golly if this was Obama sitting with Richardson, the media would have it on the front page and repeat it 100 times on TV. Another example of bias reporting.

Hillary needs no endorsements. She has been outpacing Obama despite more endorsments for him. The American voters can think for themselves without endorsements which only media publishing them stand to benefit.

Bill, face it. Hilldog is not going to pick you as VP so you might as well follow your heart and endorse Obama.

Bill Richardson was overheard telling Bill Clinton , "I will only endorse Hillary if I get the VP nod".

    Let's start this rumor.

Before Richardson dropped out, Hillary said to him, "Governors are also good as V.P.", which was considered a winning point in the debate. But I don't think HIllary is considering him as her V.P.

It looks like the Clintons need to be friendly to the Hispanics now so Bill is watching the super bowl with Richardson.

I am surprised that so many people who worked for Bill Clinton haven't come out in support of Hillary. Bill Richardson and others who got jobs ;and a paycheck uin Bill Clinton's administration should show some loyalty and endorse Hillary Clinton without hesitation.

Bill Clinton is running Hillary's campaign. Why isn't she trying to get Bill Richardson to endorsement. It takes Bill to do the heavy lifting. Is this what we are going to get if she wins the White House? Will she be able to control him in the White House? What special outside deals for his "foundation" is he going to be doing? Will he be covered by any ethics requirments?
