(CNN) - Hillary Clinton’s campaign said Friday it had raised more than $8 million online since polls closed in California, and nearly $10 million since February 1.
In a conference call with reporters, Clinton communications director Howard Wolfson also said much of that money had come from roughly 75,000 new donors.
Wolfson added that the campaign will be able to spend roughly as much on television ads in upcoming contests as Barack Obama’s campaign – despite the fact that the Illinois senator has been on the air in states that vote over the next few days since well before the Super Tuesday votes.
Clinton’s campaign will begin airing ads today in states voting over the next few days, and will purchase airtime in Texas and Ohio next week.

I am glad to see her supporters have rallied around her. Perhaps we just didn't know that she needed funds. This is not just an Obama thing. We all want the white house, having a women run the country is the real "change."
Yes SHE can!
How can a Canadian donate to Hiliary's campaign.
That's our girl!
I tithe my paycheck every two weeks for her.
I have friends bringing in their work week lunches and drinking the office coffee vs their every morning starbucks.
i have an 83yo woman who wants to mail Hillary $25!
Madam President has such a nice ring to it!
Go Hillary Go!!
Why don't you report on how much the Obama campaign has raised, CNN?
Or the 340,000 people who have donated to the Obama campaign since January 1st?
Just a thought. Might at least give the impression that you are less biased.
spend it hillary help the economy out , and further more, who cares how much money you have raised.. How much was pac money.and money from special interest groups.
OBAMA ALL THE WAY
I'm proud to be one of Hillarys new campaign donors. I had no idea that she needed funds or I would have contributed long ago. This Country need a leader like Hillary.. so come on people.. spend some of your money .. it's a great investment. Go Hillary!!
CNN – why do you have a Hillary Fundraising ad on the frontpage of your political section? Aren't you supposed to be neutral?
Great. Now lets get some color on the Clintons personal finances. The DNC needs to step in on both campaigns so the republicans cant come at their candidate with any thing unforeseen. I see NO reason why the Clintons should be allowed to keep this a secret any longer
concerned american citizen
It will be 10 million by midnight tonight! Obama supporters have no idea what is coming there way!
We showed HILLARY that we believe in her SUBSTANTIVE campaign, and her incredible VISION to change America for the better.
Times are hard, but we chipped in pennies here and there, and I'm not done giving !
May the Heavens bless and lead your campaign to victory.
Vote for SUBSTANCE
Vote HILLARY '08
I usually donate to Hillary every month, but I have been donating every day. Hillary Clinton has REAL SOLUTIONS for America's problems. Visit HillaryClinton.com.
i THINK THIS IS TRUE TO THE FACT THAT HILLARY CLINTON HAS THE SUPPORT OF HIPANICS SUCH MYSELF THAT WE ARE ABLE TO HELP HER WITH VOTES AND MONEY HER HONESTY AND SINCERITY ARE VALUE THAT WILL WIN HER THE WHITEHOUSE.
I will support you from now on!
What, now every five minutes she's going to send out a press release on how much money she has raised?
Once again, more suspicious behavoir from the Billary camp.
She very well could have not raised that money at all. But, because having little money will hurt her campaign, she has to pretned like she has lots of money.
Everyone, let's contribute now to the Obama '08 campaign. Let's show those deceptive Clintons we can earn more money than they can and we will get the nomination in 2008!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
YES WE CAN
I also donated today for the first time for Hilliary... and I am a senior citizen, educated, retired, and can read the blogs. I hate when Obama supporters put us down.
GO HILLIARY !!
You go Girl!
Does the $10MM include the $5MM she contributed or not?
Today's New York Times offers a more complete picture of the fundraising by both campaigns. Clearly one candidate is forming a popular movement funded by small donors. The other not so much.
I look forward to the day when Hillary Clinton endorses Obama. It will happen.
Does that include the $5 million she loaned herself?
You are the best
This campaign is desperate!
Obama was a cocaine user, I cant trust anyone who used cocaine... You want to list all the money things Hillary "might have done" when you have a FACT that Obama used Cocaine.
Does no one remember all the corruption in the Clinton White House? And it seems almost petty that every time an opponent does something positive, she rushes forward to say "me too!"
Is she capable of doing anything unique? Or will be just get more of what we're used to? A day late and millions of dollars short. Not the kind of leadership I'm looking for.
