Clinton camp reports $8 million since Super Tuesday

(CNN) - Hillary Clinton’s campaign said Friday it had raised more than $8 million online since polls closed in California, and nearly $10 million since February 1.

In a conference call with reporters, Clinton communications director Howard Wolfson also said much of that money had come from roughly 75,000 new donors.

Wolfson added that the campaign will be able to spend roughly as much on television ads in upcoming contests as Barack Obama’s campaign – despite the fact that the Illinois senator has been on the air in states that vote over the next few days since well before the Super Tuesday votes.

Clinton’s campaign will begin airing ads today in states voting over the next few days, and will purchase airtime in Texas and Ohio next week.

I am glad to see her supporters have rallied around her. Perhaps we just didn't know that she needed funds. This is not just an Obama thing. We all want the white house, having a women run the country is the real "change."

    Yes SHE can!

Why don't you report on how much the Obama campaign has raised, CNN?

Or the 340,000 people who have donated to the Obama campaign since January 1st?

Just a thought. Might at least give the impression that you are less biased.

CNN – why do you have a Hillary Fundraising ad on the frontpage of your political section? Aren't you supposed to be neutral?

Great. Now lets get some color on the Clintons personal finances. The DNC needs to step in on both campaigns so the republicans cant come at their candidate with any thing unforeseen. I see NO reason why the Clintons should be allowed to keep this a secret any longer

Times are hard, but we chipped in pennies here and there, and I'm not done giving !

May the Heavens bless and lead your campaign to victory.

What, now every five minutes she's going to send out a press release on how much money she has raised?

Once again, more suspicious behavoir from the Billary camp.

She very well could have not raised that money at all. But, because having little money will hurt her campaign, she has to pretned like she has lots of money.

Everyone, let's contribute now to the Obama '08 campaign. Let's show those deceptive Clintons we can earn more money than they can and we will get the nomination in 2008!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Go Obama!!!

Today's New York Times offers a more complete picture of the fundraising by both campaigns. Clearly one candidate is forming a popular movement funded by small donors. The other not so much.

Obama was a cocaine user, I cant trust anyone who used cocaine... You want to list all the money things Hillary "might have done" when you have a FACT that Obama used Cocaine.

Does no one remember all the corruption in the Clinton White House? And it seems almost petty that every time an opponent does something positive, she rushes forward to say "me too!"

Is she capable of doing anything unique? Or will be just get more of what we're used to? A day late and millions of dollars short. Not the kind of leadership I'm looking for.
