(CNN) — GOP front-runner John McCain has all but sealed his party's presidential nomination, but instead of focusing on his national campaign, the Arizona senator is still contending with Mike Huckabee.

Some Republicans worry the longer Huckabee stays in the race, the harder he makes it for McCain to make amends with skeptical conservatives.

Huckabee, the former Arkansas governor and former Baptist minister, has vowed to stay in until a candidate gets the 1,191 delegates needed to seal the nomination.

I am not one to vote for Huckabee
But I respect the man
He stands tall and never strays from the path
Some points for Huckabee for a good and respectable campaign

Good luck to him

I'm glad Huckabee is still in this because it gives me hope that when McCain wins Huckabee WILL NOT be his VP candidate. Please McCain, no Huckabee.

The Huckster is pressing on and John McCain is toning down his campaigning.

Obvious sign of "youth" vs. "age."

McCain can't take it. Sure, look at his mother — but she was never a POW (okay, being the mother of a POW is terrible, but that's not enough), never a Senator, and never ran for President. She looks younger than him anyways.

I do NOT want to see what McCain looks like after 4 — let alone 8 — years in the White House. Look at any other before/after pictures of past Presidents. If they didn't have gray hair, they did when they left. What will happen to his white hair and bald head?

I think Huckabee knows this and I think that's why he's staying in and fighting so hard. And in some bizarre 'miracle' it may just work.
