As for it being Senator Clinton's "turn," this isn't a hereditary monarchy; this is the United States of America where government is for the people, by the people and of the people. As such, it is NEVER anyone's turn.

I might add that I am a white woman over 40 who would very much like to vote for a woman like Senator Clinton, but I will not do this when the other candidate running, Senator Obama is so obviously superior. America cannot afford to elect another candidate on a "one issue platform" - in this case, the "one issue" being feminism. We are in too much trouble to attempt that one. We need the right candidate, at this time who has the right message to lead America into a much better future - and that candidate is Senator Barack Obama.

(1) Eliminating the tax subsidies for oil drilling (a completely outdated subsidy that hampers the development of alternative fuel sources). (2) 1% of oil companies' profits will placed into a "green" fund that will subsidize development of alternative fuel sources and green energy. (3) Creation of "green jobs" through small business and research and development subsidies. (4) Raise the payroll tax ceiling from its current level of $97,500 to ensure that Social Security stays solvent. (5) Open up Congress's health care plan to everybody and give subsidies and tax credits for citizens to buy into that plan. NOTE: The *only* difference between Obama's plan and Clinton's plan is that Clinton mandates that every American purchase health insurance. In theory Clinton's plan would create a risk pool free of adverse selection and thereby slightly lower health care premiums for all. But in practice the amount of tax dollars spent on the enforcement mechanism would dwarf any premiums savings created by the mandate. Moreover, I have not seen any evidence to support the idea that, on average, Americans currently without health insurance are healthier than Americans with insurance. Thus, the whole theoretical basis behind the health insurance mandate - eliminating adverse selection - is not backed up by empirics. (6) Get out of Iraq within first 16 months of office. (7) End the Bush tax cuts for those making over $250,000. NOTE: That would include me, and I'm fine with that. (8) Create an Infrastructure Bank Fund that would create millions of new construction jobs for rebuidling our bridges and interstate highway system. (9) End tax breaks for American companies that ship jobs overseas. NOTE: A version of this plan is already in existence. It is called The Patriot Company Act, I believe. I'm pretty sure Obama is a co-sponsor. (10) Diplomacy before war with our so-called "enemies." (11) Ban torture. (12) Focus any anti-terror military effort in Afghanistan's hills where Al Qaeda is hiding. NOTE: This is far, far, far different than Bush's idiotic nation-building foreign policy. (13) Raising the maximum Pell Grant to over $5000 so that more students can afford public university tuition. (14) Create a $4000 per year college tuition credit for students that engage in public service. NOTE: This is an absolutely fantastic idea that will shift young peoples' resources to areas that need it, such as communities hard hit by a poor economy, etc. (15) A federal education policy that doesn't place schools under the tyranny of an unfunded federal mandate that requires teachers to "teach to a test." (16) Reforming our draconian crack laws that have ruined inner city communities. (17) A general change in the tenor of American politics. Is this enough "substance" for you?

I have not heard him mention how he is going do any of the "all the things he say's he is going to do"! Rhetoric...just more rhectoric! Do any of you out there have a brain enough to see this? "or even stop and wonder this yourself.? You people scare me...including Obama!

Even his wife admitts to his over-sized ego! And i noticed a change in how he precents his speech toward his on-lookers now that he won a few more delgates...he projects himself like our great MLK and JFK and so on... He cant even project himself now...who really is he?

I hope we find these things oput before it's too late...America's voters do not need another slap in the face from the elected official!

I'll take an old hag or great grandpa anyday. I can tell you were raised to not have respect for your elders. What a pity because they are the ones who have helped make this country so great. Hate to say this but they have lived life with ups and downs whereas Obama has done nothing. He talks about issues but has no idea how to fix them. All he does is sprout BS and if he gets the Democratic nomination then John McCain will be the next president because you are going to see a lot of Democrats voting for him.

Barack did not have time to campaign in CA, NV, NY, etc. There is plenty of time before OH and TX. It has been demonstrated that when he has time he does very well. Of course the Clinton name is better known, so if there is little time to campaign Hillary will do better. With all of the time to campaign before March 4th these giant union endorsements do make a big difference. The NV union endorsement came right before the votes, and at the last minute the Clinton people tried to block the effect of the endorsement.

democratic party should stop this, to look at a candidate qualification, should review that person's history, background, the experience, as a human, they need nine months to proceed then to grow up, nothing can jump up without taken this step, if not, it must fail, it is fairy tale.
