Hi !
I'm not american but I'm just wondering how Mrs Clinton can claim to have solutions (about health care, and so on...) whereas she didn't apply her plan anywhere in the United State of America. Because for me, to have a solution means you have tried or applied your ideas somewhere and worked, well as far as I know she didn't do it yet. But how can she claim to have a solution of all the issues ? It's strange for me!
Neither Obama nor Clinton can claim to have a solution. The only thing they have is a suggestion but nobody knows if both plans will work. On the other we all know that Bush's plan does not work because he applied it and we have the results.

I think I was wrong about Obama. I switched to the Dem party to vote for him in my state's primary but then I read the CNN article that stated he had the most liberal voting record on the senate floor. So, I decided to check to see if he supported an important issue to me, partial birth abortion ban. Although he wasn't a senator when this bill went through, he stated that he was against the Supreme Court's upholding the bill. Obama looks and sounds great but have some of us forgotten the issues. I made a big mistake. I only wish the republican party had a better candidate to vote for.

sam, barack's money comes from average americans, whereas the clintons money comes from special interests, lobbyists, and PACS, not to mention their personal fortunes in the 50 million or so range. they are the ones who have been calling on superdelegates to back them b/c of past favors. they think they can buy this win and twist people's arms to endorse them. i encourage you to spend some time actually researching the facts!

I do understanding that everyone has the right to go for who that would like to see as the next president; however most people in the united states is going for the reason. If the americans would do research on the person that they are endorsing as well voting for they will then realize why they are going for the wrong person. Hillary Clinton is the person that I will be voting for in the November 2008 election. I have done the research, its now your turn to do the same!!!!! Remember we need change, Hillary is ready is Obama?

Hillary Clinton '08!!! FOR PRESIDENT!!!!

Dave, she lost New Mexico because her corrupt supporters etc.,took several ballot boxes home, tampered with them, and just finished the count. Get your facts straight. She is corrupt and will do anything to win. Lie, steal, and even cry. Corrupt, corrupt, corrupt. Sorry to disappoint you. S and will do anything including breaking your kneecap to get into the White House. She is still the loser because Barack is a man of integrity, a galvanizer, and a force to be reckoned.

It is pretty obvious that the Obama supporters are now becoming anxious because Hillary is doing very well and leading Obama according to the recent polling. It appears that they are consoling themselves with the forthcoming endorsement of Obama by the SIEU. SIEU and the culinary union endorsements did not work in Nevada or CA because voters will decide and cast their vote for the candidate they deem is their leader and champion. Leaders are doers not just talkers. They plan agendas and set specific goals for change and Hillary is this kind of a leader. Leaders do not follow and steal ideas of others. Leaders must be authentic and must always remain steadfast. These are some of Hillary's distinct leadership abilities that separates her from the rest of the candidates. Hillary all the way for '08.

I can't believe people are still calling Obama a muslim. People like Hannity, Limbaugh, Coulter, Pat Robertson, Bush, and yes even the Clintons use fear and mis-information to get the ignorant behind them.

Here is a quote by Hitler:
"By the skillful and sustained use of propaganda, one can make a people see even heaven as hell or an extremely wretched life as paradise. How fortunate for governments that the people they administer don't think. "

Since Senator Obama has not taken any special interest PAC or registered lobby bundling money, Senator Obama clearly will not be beholden to these special interests. Senator Obama will be beholden to the interests of the American People-- yes, that is right, we funded his campaign, we organized his campaign. Remember folks Senator Obama asked us to do this. It is a new day and Senator Obama is not only the best candidate, he is the only candidate who can bring America solutions to the multitude of problems our She faces.

As for it being Senator Clinton's "turn," this isn't a hereditary monarchy; this is the United States of America where government is for the people, by the people and of the people. As such, it is NEVER anyone's turn.

I might add that I am a white woman over 40 who would very much like to vote for a woman like Senator Clinton, but I will not do this when the other candidate running, Senator Obama is so obviously superior. America cannot afford to elect another candidate on a "one issue platform" -- in this case, the "one issue" being feminism. We are in too much trouble to attempt that one. We need the right candidate, at this time who has the right message to lead America into a much better future -- and that candidate is Senator Barack Obama.

Yes we can, Obama '08.

To ALL you Hillbillys that are under the spell of HRC and continue to ignorantly say that Barack has no substance hopefully this educates you... we highly educated over 250K people would not be voting for him if he didnt. Forget all the inspiration for one moment and get the facts. Mr. Obama gives great speeches. And guess what -- he's proposed some concrete policies too

(1) Eliminating the tax subsidies for oil drilling (a completely outdated subsidy that hampers the development of alternative fuel sources). (2) 1% of oil companies' profits will placed into a "green" fund that will subsidize development of alternative fuel sources and green energy. (3) Creation of "green jobs" through small business and research and development subsidies. (4) Raise the payroll tax ceiling from its current level of $97,500 to ensure that Social Security stays solvent. (5) Open up Congress's health care plan to everybody and give subsidies and tax credits for citizens to buy into that plan. NOTE: The *only* difference between Obama's plan and Clinton's plan is that Clinton mandates that every American purchase health insurance. In theory Clinton's plan would create a risk pool free of adverse selection and thereby slightly lower health care premiums for all. But in practice the amount of tax dollars spent on the enforcement mechanism would dwarf any premiums savings created by the mandate. Moreover, I have not seen any evidence to support the idea that, on average, Americans currently without health insurance are healthier than Americans with insurance. Thus, the whole theoretical basis behind the health insurance mandate -- eliminating adverse selection -- is not backed up by empirics. (6) Get out of Iraq within first 16 months of office. (7) End the Bush tax cuts for those making over $250,000. NOTE: That would include me, and I'm fine with that. (8) Create an Infrastructure Bank Fund that would create millions of new construction jobs for rebuidling our bridges and interstate highway system. (9) End tax breaks for American companies that ship jobs overseas. NOTE: A version of this plan is already in existence. It is called The Patriot Company Act, I believe. I'm pretty sure Obama is a co-sponsor. (10) Diplomacy before war with our so-called "enemies." (11) Ban torture. (12) Focus any anti-terror military effort in Afghanistan's hills where Al Qaeda is hiding. NOTE: This is far, far, far different than Bush's idiotic nation-building foreign policy. (13) Raising the maximum Pell Grant to over $5000 so that more students can afford public university tuition. (14) Create a $4000 per year college tuition credit for students that engage in public service. NOTE: This is an absolutely fantastic idea that will shift young peoples' resources to areas that need it, such as communities hard hit by a poor economy, etc. (15) A federal education policy that doesn't place schools under the tyranny of an unfunded federal mandate that requires teachers to "teach to a test." (16) Reforming our draconian crack laws that have ruined inner city communities. (17) A general change in the tenor of American politics. Is this enough "substance" for you?

NOTE: The *only* difference between Obama's plan and Clinton's plan is that Clinton mandates that every American purchase health insurance. In theory Clinton's plan would create a risk pool free of adverse selection and thereby slightly lower health care premiums for all. But in practice the amount of tax dollars spent on the enforcement mechanism would dwarf any premiums savings created by the mandate. Moreover, I have not seen any evidence to support the idea that, on average, Americans currently without health insurance are healthier than Americans with insurance. Thus, the whole theoretical basis behind the health insurance mandate - eliminating adverse selection - is not backed up by empirics.

I have not heard him mention how he is going do any of the "all the things he say's he is going to do"! Rhetoric...just more rhectoric! Do any of you out there have a brain enough to see this? "or even stop and wonder this yourself.? You people scare me...including Obama!

Even his wife admitts to his over-sized ego! And i noticed a change in how he precents his speech toward his on-lookers now that he won a few more delgates...he projects himself like our great MLK and JFK and so on... He cant even project himself now...who really is he?

I hope we find these things oput before it's too late...America's voters do not need another slap in the face from the elected official!

These 2 unions are big news. And even though he lost Nevada, it was only by 4%. If he loses OH & TX by 4% he still wins the nomination. Hillary will need 55-60% in both states to win.

I think Bill & Solis Doyle screwed this up for Hillary.

I still want to know where the $140 Million went?

It is quite interesting that Hillary took NM after her "slick" husband (my opinion) visited Bill Richardson to watch the Super Bowl. (as if that was his purpose- probably un-invited) We are, in my opinion, about to witness the master politician go on the "dirty politics" drive. Barack, get ready!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! In my opinion, these people will DO WHATEVER IT TAKES TO WIN!

Just wanted to point out that there is only one human race. So everyone that keeps saying this is a race v.s. gender is incorrect, and if you truly think that black is a different race you need to probably spend a little time researching the difference between a race and skin pigment.

Obamacan- You have to fix the carb BEFORE you can drive the car and if that is what he said then he has never had grease under his nails . It makes me wonder how he is going to "drive" this country if doesn't know you have to fix it first.

To Darren:

I'll take an old hag or great grandpa anyday. I can tell you were raised to not have respect for your elders. What a pity because they are the ones who have helped make this country so great. Hate to say this but they have lived life with ups and downs whereas Obama has done nothing. He talks about issues but has no idea how to fix them. All he does is sprout BS and if he gets the Democratic nomination then John McCain will be the next president because you are going to see a lot of Democrats voting for him.

Hmm I wonder who Edwards will endorse...?

To J in AZ: $0

To Kyle: I'm sorry, but we are not "wactivists..." Whatever that is. So what exactly is wrong with strongly supporting someone? Since when is that unacceptable in America? You don't like how strongly we support Barack Obama, get out. We can be excited about someone just as much as you can. Get over it. Personally, I think that you're scared that your candidate won't get the nomination.

Kyle,

Barack did not have time to campaign in CA, NV, NY, etc. There is plenty of time before OH and TX. It has been demonstrated that when he has time he does very well. Of course the Clinton name is better known, so if there is little time to campaign Hillary will do better. With all of the time to campaign before March 4th these giant union endorsements do make a big difference. The NV union endorsement came right before the votes, and at the last minute the Clinton people tried to block the effect of the endorsement.

I am getting very sick of those who just think Obama is just a speechgiver. Yes, he is phenomonal at speaking and inspiring but people are forgetting that there is substance behind his message. He has debated many times and talked about issues and his positions very clearly. Look up and read his website as well. Stop the jeaolusy because your candidate sounds like a old hag or great grandpa. GO OBAMA!

There are 3 strong female Democratic governors. Any of which would make a better president than Hillary. I wouldn't be surprised if one of them are Obama's running mate.

This is truly the best form of dirty politics. Whoever becomes president, it is just a different face of the special interest.

To Rohn J who said Obama has never said elect me because I am black--
Then why does he begin every speech with this, "T-h-e-y said this day would never come. T-h-e-y said this could not happen," and then ends each speech with this, "Our time has come." And the slogan, "Yes we can." Of course he intends to draw attention to his race. I am not saying anything is wrong with that--I am just saying...

Former Ohio Senator and astronaut John Glenn has not formally endorsed Hillary Clinton. Why not? Could it be the Keating Five scandal, which he was investigated with McCain?

Hillary disclose your tax returns. How can you say you're fully vetted if you want participate with full diclosure?

I would project that, if democratic has paying the race vs. gender, the next president should belong to republican; the history has told us the fact...

democratic party should stop this, to look at a candidate qualification, should review that person's history, background, the experience, as a human, they need nine months to proceed then to grow up, nothing can jump up without taken this step, if not, it must fail, it is fairy tale.

Looks like Hillary has hit the iceberg and there's not enough boats. Just 6 weeks ago I would have voted for her and written Obama off as someone to take seriously only after he acquired some more experience. Only after seeing what a petty, shrill campaign H has conducted and reading both of B's books, do I feel this man deserves my support. He got my vote on Super Tuesday and he's getting a check if he goes the distance and get the nomination.

This is major. Unions represent blue collar America, the forgotten citizens in the past 2 Presidencies. I hope that the members of each of the 2 unions supporting Obama will take a good look at the differences between the two candidates and make an informed decision to vote for BARACK OBAMA for President!!
