Clinton spot: Obama 'hiding behind false attack ads'

Sen. Clinton released another ad in Wisconsin Friday.

Sen. Clinton released another ad in Wisconsin Friday.

(CNN) - On Friday, the newest negative ad hit the airwaves in Wisconsin – the third such spot launched by a Democratic presidential campaign in three days.

Hillary Clinton’s campaign unveiled an ad Wednesday that took aim at Barack Obama for turning down an offer to debate her in Wisconsin before the state’s February 19 primary, tying the decision to his stands on other issues.

Obama’s campaign struck back the next day with a spot that responded to Clinton’s, calling the original ad an instance of "the same old politics of phony charges and false attacks."

Today, Clinton’s campaign debuted ‘Deserves,’ a response to what it called “false attacks” in the Obama spot.

"Barack Obama still won't agree to debate in Wisconsin,” says the announcer in the 30-second ad, which will also air in Wisconsin. “And now he's hiding behind false attack ads.”

The ad criticized Obama’s stands on issues like health care and Social Security, and asked
“Why won’t Barack Obama debate these differences? Wisconsin deserves better.”

The state's voters head to the polls next Tuesday.

Haha. I'm sure Barack already has something cooked up to release against this. It will be interesting to see what it is.

    Give it up Hillary....
Enough is enough. I think the people are finally getting a glimpse of the real Hillary Clinton. This is a glimpse of how the country would be run if Hillary was president. A lot of false statements made to look like fact. WAKE UP PEOPLE..
    Obama is the best choice.....

Clinton is being ridiculous and petty.

Obama will be debating her in Austin, Texas and in Ohio before March 4th.

He has better things to be doing than jumping every time Clinton says JUMP!

Obama '08 – the candidate with integrity

In the breadth of three words, she accuses Obama of launching attack ads, and then commences into an attack ad on Obama.

This has GOT to stop. It's time America takes back its government...

I'm just so tired of the Hillary and Bill style of slash and burn politics.

We want positive messages that we can believe in. Obama and Hillary pretty much have similar propositions on what they can do to improve the country. But Hillary just doesn't have the ability to get it done because she has so often been negative and polarizing–especially in this campaign.

It was only a couple of weeks ago that I decided to vote for Obama, but the more Hillary and Bill do this kind of stuff, the more I realize that I made the right choice.

Hillary, you haven't even visited Wisconsin. Don't we deserve better than that?

    So pitiful.

This woman is nearly out of touch as the person who plays lottery scratch tickets. You want to win over voters? Just tell them like it is and do not try to persuade them otherwise. People prefer to meet and hear candidates more than watch them answer questions from babbling correspondents in a news conference forum billed as a debate. These show and tells are not true debates.

Wisconsin deserves better? What about the rest of the country?
Hillary certainly doesn't think the states that held caucuses deserves much recognition at all.
But Wisconsin has something she needs, suddenly they "deserve" better"? We have seen these candidates debate. We know how they both stand on the issues. What more is there to know?
Obama is beating her. Debating won't change that.

Barack Obama will not agree to debate in Wisconsin because he doesn't have much to say when he's asked specifics.

He can talk but he can't walk the walk. He can't debate because he doesn't know what to say or avoids issues:

When asked at the last debate he was asked about his involvement with a criminal from Chicago Resko.

He took the criminal's money and then said he would give it back. He still lives in the house that the criminal sold him. Why not give that back too.

His comment was that it was a boneheaded mistake.

Do we really need a bonehead in the White House?

Hillary is such a liar! I really want to give her my vote in the event that she beat Barack, but I'm starting to lean the other way. Honestly, how can Hillary fans support this woman??? When does Barack go after Hillary? The only time he does is when she throws attacks his way. Wake up Hillary fans. I think she could be a good President but don't you want better. Hillary, tout your credentials, aske people for your vote, but please don't attack another person with the same ideas as you. And for those of you who don't know what the same ideas are then go join the Republicans.

Get some more t-shirts on your website. I know you're popular but we all want shirts.

It is not up to the Clinton campaign to dictate the terms of Senator Obama's campaign or debate schedule. I applaud Senator Obama's stance on all of the issues, as well as his ability to not allow the Clinton campaign to delay and slow down the pace of his presidential campaign, which is exactly what Hillary is trying to do.

Obama is smarter than that Hillary! Jump on his speeding locomotive or please get out of the way for the sake of the country.

Interesting Clinton is paying attention to Wisconsin at all, after saying last week it's not important and saying Texas and Ohio are more important. Look how she left the mid-atlantic states out of the picture, that should tell future states she'll leave them behind as well.
Obama is paying attention to all the states, why should he debate her after 18 debates already and 2 more planned with in the next couple of weeks. Clinton is doing what entrenched in the pocket politicians to Special Interests and Lobbyists do when they are desparate-Divide the party with mean spirited attacks ads.

Misinformation, and lies. This is all Hillary has to go on. She mismanaged her campaign and that is her fault. Bottomline, people are tired of these same old dirty politics. . and that is why she is losing.

Now I am certain she is getting desparate.... Why do the people of Wisconsin "need" to see them debate issues that have already been debated on national TV? Furthermore, each of them has a website with detailed info about their healthcare plans, etc... This is just politics as usual...same-o, same-o. If the voters need to know more, she could have a Q&A session online. If a voter doesn't know about either of their stands on Social Security or Healthcare, they haven't been paying attention....which means they don't really care or have already made up their minds.

I am afraid these will backfire on her. The debates have taken place and he has agreed to two more. I was pro Clinton until she went negative. I even saw that Bill is now going negative as well. I think all the negative ads only hurts the democratic party.

Hillary and Bill clinton have now sank below even Bush and rove in my book i used to at least think there might be some glimmer of hope they they were working for us the people but now i can tell that not only are the desperate as heck, and will say or do anything to get into the white house The Clinton are jsut plain old disgusting. I never want to see these people on tv or hear about them again. Barack continues to stay above the fray he responds to their attacks with due diligence and truthfulness which i find encourging, Barack that is why My whole family is voting for you, the truth and judgement have won us over. An amazing accopmlishment, you did in one year what Bill and Hillary couldn't do in 35. Big props to Obama/Edwards 08.
