Obama's Misleading Ad

Update, Feb. 15: This section was added after our original item was posted.

The Obama campaign released a new ad Feb. 14 in Wisconsin called "Debate," quoting Bill Clinton’s first Secretary of Labor, Robert Reich, as saying Obama’s plan covers “more people” than Clinton's. We find the ad misleading and, in one respect, false

Like i mentioned before he will do what ever it takes to become president false hopes and lies. America, before you vote for obama look at all the false adds and lies

Obama's ad was not an attack ad! It simply stated that there have already been 18 debates and that Barack has agreed to two more. FACTS.

The Clinton camp left Obama's campaign no choice but to respond. And even though his attack didn't really make any attacks on Clinton herself, they are labeling it an "attack ad" in THEIR latest attack ad. Shame on you, Hillary!!

Someone needs to teach Hillary the difference between a debate and a filibuster. In the last debate, one of her long, vague, wandering answers almost put HER to sleep!

I knew she would try someting like that; challenge him to a debate then call him out if he's chicken. That last debate in NY was a crock anyway. Most of the questions went to her, and the media tried to say that she was "in control of the debate." COME ON! When she gets all the questions how else is it supposed to look.

Hillary Clinton has no money to fund a debate so she is basically trying to get Obama to agree to on. How many debates do we need? The majority of the people has already made a decision; and it is not Hillary. Good for Obama camp. Stick to your original plans and move forward. Hillary can't manage her own camp.

I used to work for Barack Obama's campaign when he ran for U.S. Senate, and I've been following this election cycle very closely. It's really disheartening to see that people in this country would rather vote for an entertainer that says nothing and has barely any experience than an experienced, smart, and dedicated candidate who can truly make a difference. I also think that Democrats around the country would be making a huge mistake by nominating Barack because he will not win against McCain. By the way, this is my first post because I've tried to stay out of it since I do have some inside perspective on one of these candidates, and I'm choosing to hold my tongue and refrain from further comment.

I am soooooooo proud of Americans! And I am proud of myself during this campaign season. This is the most involved I've ever been. And because we're all paying attention, all these campaign maneuvers and lies by the Hillary campaign are so transparent. But this is what has been her "experience" in running campaigns in the past. It really makes me wonder how much we were fooled in the past because we weren't paying attention. For instance, I see some bloggers in previous posts say that Obama is stealing Hillary's message and that he's all rhetoric. It is clear that those people are not paying attention, at all. Just paying attention a little bit will show that it is really Hillary that has been stealing Obama's message and she keeps changing her message to fit what's popular. Anyhow, good job everyone that sees the truth. I am so proud of you and me!!!

Wait until Obama is elected and turns policy on those who voted for him, like building nuclear plants, supporting GM executives, and he'll say just like Bush did, that its his presidential perogitive. After all he is so smart......what a laugh.....

Good Advice for the Clinton's, "Don't Go Negative" since you are the underdog. Americans including myself want a positive campaign and we want change. Part of the change is not having negative attacks on your opponents. That is the old style of politics. If you going to say something do so in a positive manner. Otherwise, say nothing at all. We all know that Hillary is in desperate mode and going negative is not going to help.

It is obvious that Hillary is getting desperate, she's losing the popular vote, she's losing in pledged delegates, she's losing in states won, she's losing in total delegates. She is losing and now she thinks that by going negative she can change things around. I hope the American People can see through this.

Response to Alecki: Obama gave back the money from Resko. Remember that Resko has not even been convicted of anything yet.
But Hillary had to return almost 1 million dollars from Mr. Hsu, an individual who was convicted of fraud in 1992.

At least Obama can admit to his mistakes. Hillary can't even muster enough courage to admit her vote for the war was a mistake. A BIG BONEHEAD mistake that has cost lives, Billions, the respect of the international community.

Who is the bonehead now.

even without this debate, there are already three scheduled debates from now until March 4th. That's plenty enough. Just because Obama is not agreeing to go hand-in-hand with every single debate that Clinton requests does NOT mean that he hiding some sort of "truth". For Clinton, I guess desperate times calls for desperate measures.

Hillary is being out-raised in campaigns funds by a wide margin.

This means she can't spend like Barack can.

She needs free pub.

So the only way she can get that is through debates.

Plus, debates are a good way to "catch" someone on a mistake.

All the momentum is on Barack's side.

She is looking for something to turn the tide...a stab in the dark.

How pathetic.

Problem with Obama is he is too Clean. Hillary can't find anyway to drag him into the mud with her so she makes things up. In the old days that would work because people didn't have the INSTANT information at their fingertips (internet) Spread a horrible lie and by the time people found out it was a lie it was too late. Now it can be shot down in just ONE minute and broadcast all over the world via the net.

McCains Camp head said " If obama is the Dem Nominee he will quit" Why? Because he wants no part of the way the repubs are going to lie and try to ruin him and he is a man of HONOR. I REALLY respect that man.

Lie with dogs you get fleas and it WILL come back to haunt you.

Whenever things get tight for Hillary she goes negative. There is a reason the Republican's want her. So many people dislike her and would automatically vote against her even if she were running against "W" that we'd have 4 more years of the same old garbage.

She wants debates because she is short on cash and needs exposure. These little attack ads will eat a lot of her remaining reserves and barring some major cash influx in the near future she'll be running on "E".

She's in trouble and she knows it. She has Super Delegates talking about switching their votes and that is the ONLY thing she has going for her at this moment. She's desperate and acting like it.

who's negative now? It sounds like all the OBAMA cronies are always on the message boards attacking Hillary.

Get a life. I know you all earn over $150,000 a year and can afford to be online conducting campaign attacks against Hillary. The working poor will have their say. They will continue to choose Dunkin Donuts over Starbucks and Hillary will win.

Just to clarify for everyone, there has only been one debate that only included Hillary and Obama head to head, toe to toe, and that was the debate in LA.

Hillary cleaned Obama's clock in the LA debate.

Obama does not want a debate in Wisconsin because he would get his clock cleaned again.

Face it, Obama is just not very good without a script and a teleprompter.

The Clinton campaign will be relentless and without moral retraint during the next few weeks. We will learn once and for all whether the American voters can be bamboozled by false choices and fake negative accusations. While Obama needs to respond, let's hope he can keep from sliding down to her level.

Remember--no matter how excrutiating this stuff is to the rest of us --this is the the "fun" part to the Clintons.

What happend to 'Ready on day one'-business ?

Is she planning on running attack ads against the insurgents in Iraq too once she has been elected?

How about running an attack ad in which Barack Obama makes her cry again ... I bet that would be more effective !

I've seen enough of these scripted debates and I am offended that she has gone on the attack and I have thus changed my vote to Obama.

Good job Clinton Attack Machine!

Hillary Clinton has lowered herself to a level that sickens me as a voter. She's being incredibly hypocritical and misleading, and I think the average voter is turned off by her tactics. She'll do and say anything to get elected, as an Obama supporter, I was going to vote for her if she got the democratic nomination but now I cannot do so.

Laughable ... Does Billary think that all of the United States is stupid enough to fall for that ?

Just as a reminder ... you may win this battle but you will lose the war in November ! I'll not be rewarding this crap with my vote in a general election!

If I want to reward 'good' attack ads, I'll vote Republican. They are waiting to throw all the Clinton-Dirt at you, Billary.

Nope ... Billary won't get my vote anymore. Not now, not in November.

Obama would be WISE to keep his campaign positive and not respond (in ads) to Hillary. His campaign spokesman should call-out Hillary going negative and continue asking the voters if they want Hope and Inspiration or the same-old negative campaigning that Hillary offers.

Hope trumps negativity.

why is it that every time Hillary opens her mouth these days I feel like I'm being thrown back into my kindergarten days? Hillary had her chance to get her point across and she lost...she lost. Now, it's just whining. Even her speeches in front of her constituents seem that she's whining. In the debates she was whining. She is just a whiner and it makes her appear like she's a nagging old wife. God, she makes me want to turn her off...completely.

Hillary has out-debated Obama before. He has no plan and is inexperienced compared to Hillary. If he wins, this is Bush all over again. This is America. Whatd you expect? People here are dumb.

Great plan. The negative approach backfired so violently in South Carolina that HRC lost all momentum. Sooo ... try it again and maybe this time it will work.

Kind of sounds like our current Iraq policy.

These long national contests work better than I thought -- we get to see what the candidates are really made of. Say good night, Hillary.
