Watch portions of Clinton's speech Wednesday morning.

(CNN) Hillary Clinton and her presidential campaign Wednesday pounced on a recent television interview with a surrogate of Barack Obama who was unable to identify a single accomplishment in the Illinois Democrat's Senate record.

"My good friend Congresswoman Stephanie Tubbs Jones from Ohio represented me on one of the TV programs in the last day or two— some of you may have seen her," Clinton said during a speech at Hunter College in New York City Wednesday. "And she was on against someone representing my opponent and for the first time, actually, the host, asked the representative of my opponent to name one accomplishment."

The interview in question was with Tubbs Jones and Texas State Sen. Kirk Watson on MSNBC Tuesday night. Host Chris Matthews asked Watson, a supporter of Obama, to name the Illinois senator's chief legislative accomplishments.

"Well, I am not going to be able to name you specific items of legislative accomplishment," Watson said.

Asked if it was a problem he was unable to name any of Obama's accomplishments, Watson said, "Well no I don't think it is. Because I think one of the things that Sen. Obama does is he inspires. He's able to lay out a vision, he's able to lay out solutions."

The Clinton campaign called the interview "Must See TV," and e-mailed a clip of it to reporters Wednesday morning — shortly before the New York Democrat mentioned it in her speech.

“That is all we’re asking," Clinton also said of the interview in her speech. "We’re asking to compare our records. We’re asking to compare our years of service. We’re asking to compare our ideas, our solutions."

Also in her speech Wednesday, Clinton maintained her campaign is moving forward.

“It is time to get real, “ Clinton continued, “to get real about how we actually win this election…It is time to move from good words to good works – from sound bites to sound solutions.”

Commenting on Obama's 10 straight victories, Clinton also conceded the Illinois senator "has had a couple of good weeks."

Could somebody please name an accomplishment of Senator Clinton?

Jacqueline Samms   February 20th, 2008 10:53 am ET

I can't name an accomplishment of Hillary either?? Big deal..

Shannon - Dallas   February 20th, 2008 10:53 am ET

Okay Barack I know you've got at LEAST a few. I know you haven't built your campaign on them, but you must a few to name. Do a press conference or SOMETHING. These Hillary followers are going to blow this out proportion too!

LifeLongDemocrat   February 20th, 2008 10:55 am ET

I saw this. it was hillarious! The same thing happened on Fox when they asked a group of Obama supporters to name an accomplishment and not one in the crowd could name one!

D. Elwood Cook   February 20th, 2008 10:55 am ET

It's funny because I can't think of a single accomplishment of Hillary Clinton other than…

1.) Voting for War in Iraq.
2.) Voting to make the Iranian Guard a terrorist organization.
3.) Skipping the vote to remove Telco immunity from Fisa.

Chris   February 20th, 2008 10:55 am ET

"It is time to get real, “ Clinton continued, “to get real about how we actually win this election…It is time to move from good words to good works – from sound bites to sound solutions"

Says someone trying to use a sound bite from a Texas State Senator completely removed from this election.

sk   February 20th, 2008 10:55 am ET

I don't see where Hillary can and has pulled the people together. If she should happen to win by some miracle, the Republicans will surely beat us in the fall elections. She makes it too easy for them. They know what to expect from her whereas, Obama offers something new and unexpected and who can fight the unexpected? Not even the most experienced war heroes!

MIKE, Austin, Tx   February 20th, 2008 10:56 am ET

Obama can chip away clinton's lead… But any ONE would elect an AMERICAN WAR HERO than a phony SLOGANS.

HOW CAN YOU LIST AND ACCOMPLISHMENTS FOR SOMEONE WHO NEVER DID ANYTHING.

WHAT IS COMMON BETWEEN JESSE JACKSON, SHARPTON AND OBAMA? ALL PREACH HOPE. AMERICANS ARE PRACTICAL PEOPLE. I HOPE THIS AMERICAN HERO WILL DEFEAT THIS STORY TELLING, SPEACH STEALING, EMPTY PERSONALITY

Jonah, San Francisco   February 20th, 2008 10:56 am ET

And people wonder why her campaign is collapsing on itself like a dying star?

MediaJunkie, Arlington, VA   February 20th, 2008 10:56 am ET

Yikes. That one's going to need some damage control Obama.

TJ, Austin, Tx   February 20th, 2008 10:57 am ET

WHY CNN DOES NOT POST ANY NEGATIVE COMMENTS ABOUT OBAMA?

KEVO777   February 20th, 2008 10:57 am ET

It's hard to run against hope, especially if you cant bring about the inspiration to do it. You have to be able to bring sides 2gether.

Sean, Detroit MI   February 20th, 2008 10:57 am ET

Another great Hillary quote: "I think we have to think more creatively. We can't just do the same things over and over again."

The same things such as electing a Bush, then a Clinton, then another Bush, and now another Clinton? Holy cow! Now she's even sabotaging her own campaign!!

cbb   February 20th, 2008 10:57 am ET

Actually, that's not the first time. I've see Chris Matthews ask that exact question before — and a previous guest was able to give a fairly long list in response.

Obama = all talk   February 20th, 2008 10:57 am ET

This is exactly what people need to hear: Obama has NO record of accomplishment in the senate!
He's all talk!

Ryan   February 20th, 2008 10:58 am ET

If we want to talk about accomplishments, how about all of Hilary Clinton's failed Health Care Bills shes tried to propose in the senate the last couple of years.

Will-South Dakota   February 20th, 2008 10:58 am ET

The Clinton machine is showing signs of stress and fatigue. She says she has 35 years of experience….how many years has she served in the senate? She says she has been beaten up and has been battling the Republicans for years whats been the results?

aPuerto Rican   February 20th, 2008 10:58 am ET

It's time to stop. The hole is getting deeper for that Sen. of New York. What next? The dirt on her side is among us. Sen. Obama step it up, they are not playing FAIR!! YES WE CAN!!

Cindy   February 20th, 2008 10:59 am ET

Why is everyone blaming CNN and Obama for the switch up? When your boss tells you to do something - don't you do it? If they told the camera men to switch views, then that is what they did. Blame the BIG time executives for this. How did Obama know that Clinton was speaking the same time he was? Were they not in separate states? Was someone saying Hillary, Obama is about to speak, start talking or did someone clue Obama and say start talking? So, when you start throwing mud, look around first and make sure it does not fly back on you.

enoch needles, jersey city nj   February 20th, 2008 11:00 am ET

All of Hillary's arguments are sound.

Mere sound.

Michael   February 20th, 2008 11:00 am ET

Swiftboating…wow.

roger   February 20th, 2008 11:01 am ET

Here we go again … who has the most experience argument. How many times Sen. Clinton wil beat this drum when voters are not buying it??

Respect the voters will. Voters are comparing both and voting for Sen. Obama because they find him better.

Every one has lot of respects for Sen. Clinton, but Sen. Obama is a better candidate in the minds of the voters . So he is winning and that is great. He is an excellent candidate. he has run a very good campaign.

To win, one must fight and earn every state / every vote and respect others victory and accept losses.

One cannot win by simply a "big states" strategy.

Joe   February 20th, 2008 11:01 am ET

Just because some stupid State Senator can't name a legislative accompliahment doesn't mean that one does not exist. Hillary is getting really desperate.

Lynn - Alhambra, CA   February 20th, 2008 11:01 am ET

I think that interview was UNFAIR…if it were Chris' show, then he has every right to ask those types of questions. The supporters were on to talk about the night's results. I am sure had he been on Chris' show, he would have been better prepared to answer ANY and ALL questions that were thrown his way!

It is unfortunate that Chris Matthews feels he has to right his wrong in this platform. (he made comments about Bill Clinton and his philandering ways). It was obvious that Keith Olbermann was perterbed to say the least, as Chris responded to his "demand to name one accomplishment" "that's why they call this Hardball" wrong Chris, it was election coverage! And I'm happy that Keith pointed that out. I love watching Chris and Keith on MSNBC and watching Larry King and Anderson Cooper on CNN.

Chris went over the line and I'm sure that I am not the only one upset about how he handled the situation.

Ed, Santa Fe NM   February 20th, 2008 11:01 am ET

PFFFT! Hillary's only accomplishment as an elected official is being the NUMBER ONE recipient of lobbyist money in the Senate.

ExHillary voter   February 20th, 2008 11:02 am ET

I did see the interview and was taken aback by how Chris Mathews attacked the interviewee! I was shocked by the lack of respect and more than the answer, it revealed how important it is for reporters to be neutral while replorting because when you are not neutral you reveal more about yourself than the person you are interviewing.

For Hillary, there is a thing as too late. And, I really feel that her campaign could not have run a worse campaign. It is an indication of wiseness to face a few facts, and it is time she acts that way.

Vince, Phoenix   February 20th, 2008 11:02 am ET

Oooooohhh! The Clinton supporter comments on this ought to be PRICELESS…… (OR maybe just a regurgitation of every talking point from the last six months)….

Kathy   February 20th, 2008 11:02 am ET

Watson isn't running for president, Hillary. Barack is and might I add, he's doing a fine job of it. (I guess desperate times call for desperate measures for Hillary . . . again)

Dem123   February 20th, 2008 11:03 am ET

Mr.Obama:Where is the beef?

Indy for Obama   February 20th, 2008 11:03 am ET

Hillary, there are supporters for you who have gone so far as to switch to Obama, so don't push your luck.

You're done, Hillary. Unite your party. Stop campaigning. You lost.

John A.   February 20th, 2008 11:03 am ET

Really? Attacking supporters? Certainly, that person shouldn't have gone on tv to espouse Obama's campaign if they couldn't fully articulate Obama's positions. But for the Clinton campaign to go after that person…desperate, simply desperate. It's sad, really.

David, FL   February 20th, 2008 11:03 am ET

Hillary- much ado about nothing. your ship is sinking. face it. we just do not need to go beyond 20 years of Bush/Clinton rule/regime. it is killing our country.

Maksym   February 20th, 2008 11:05 am ET

Good Morning,

Well, this is quite sad on Clinton's part because I asked several of Clinton's supporters in regards as to what is her so called "experience" and none were able to name anything.

This argument can be applied to both parties, so no need to try to sound like everyone knows what she has done.

It's time to step aside and let Barack Obama take a stand against McCain.

Obama, 08.

therealist   February 20th, 2008 11:05 am ET

Then the question begs, what are Hillary's legislative accomplishments??

Karen   February 20th, 2008 11:05 am ET

Why is it when you ask any Obama supporter ,what Obama has done ,the answer is always "he inspires me."Have people ever heard of the Pied Piper, who tooted his little horn and all the mesmerized rats followed him to there demise.I guess we have a pied piper in our mist. I am so sad that we Americans can all be so fooled, so desperate like a young school girl ,we would believe anything.

Leigh Anne   February 20th, 2008 11:05 am ET

If the democrats want their party to win, they need to get Obama and Edwards together and start pushing the positives of their party and shut Hillary Clinton up. The more she pushes those stupid negative adds the more she hurts her own party's chances in the election. I want to vote Democrat this time as I have had it with the Republicans especially over the topic of torture. And as long as the Democrats keep doing what they are doing and recognize the second amendment right to keep and bear arms as they FINALLY seem to be doing I will vote for them.

Matt Scott   February 20th, 2008 11:06 am ET

I think the more Clinton goes negative the more people will come to see that she doesn't care about damaging party unity and only cares about her own ambition.

I think she is far enough behind she doesn't have an alternative but to make every petty little attack she can muster but i don't see it helping her stop Obama from winning.

Jim, American in Paris   February 20th, 2008 11:06 am ET

Go Hillary!!!!!!!!!!!!

Real ideas, Real solutions, and a Real record of accomplishments!!!

AMW, Los Angeles   February 20th, 2008 11:06 am ET

Again, Senator Obama all talk and no action…..even someone on TV representing him nationwide was unable to cite anything!

Get real people, he can inspire but that is all. Check the records, so some reading, get the facts, forget the spin, forget the media….get informed because knowledge is power. If all we do is listen without thought we will be lost!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

John Kennedy had substance to back up his inspiration! Martin Luther King had substance to back up his inspiration! Senator Obama has inspiration and little substance!

Bismarck ND   February 20th, 2008 11:06 am ET

Mr. and Mrs. Obama scare me, if they were not patriots in the past why do they desire the higest position in the land?

mike   February 20th, 2008 11:06 am ET

So she hasn't been "real" up until now? The woman who's ready to lead on day one is just now getting "real"? The fake Hillary is hard enough to take, not sure I'll be able to stand a "real" Hillary - a very scary thought. If Obama had lost 10 in a row he wouldn't be getting any press - why is she?

Enderlyn from Canada   February 20th, 2008 11:06 am ET

There you go again!!!!! Dejavu all over again. Hillary as well has her campaign knows that it is not true. Obama may not have accomplished as much as she has, but he has done a lot. Why don't you do your research and check facts. Instead of focusing on a tongue tied supporter of Obama. That said, negative attacks don't work just focus on your own accomplishments. I guess you never learn.

Hillary Supporter MD   February 20th, 2008 11:06 am ET

"YES" Hilary. Hope "American People" atleast now from OH, TX and PA realize this. I from MD realized this long time ago as I go from my own judgement and was not "BRAIN WASHED" by his words. Its too late for those people who supported him. But it is never late to TX, OH and PA people. People are thinking these are negative attacks!! But why don't they soon realize these are the facts.

"YES" both your policies are almost similar. "Why Mr. Obama is using the word to excite, Inspire and Brain wash AMERICAN PEOPLE"??? When the policies are almost similar he cannot use the word "CHANGE" simply to Inspire people. Stop his momentum by bringing out facts. Hilary connect to people by bringing out these facts infront of "American People". He is just a liberal Bush thats all lieing to American people like the way George Bush lied to American people.

Debbie   February 20th, 2008 11:07 am ET

Frank of DC   February 20th, 2008 11:08 am ET

Haha…like Hillary has accomplished anything. Being an ex-presidents wife does not make you more experienced. You're both U.S Senators…so neither has more experience than the other. Obama inspires the youth and unites Americans from of all walks of life…thats is experience enough for me. What's the use of experience if no one likes you? A leader must inspire poeple and give them hope, and Hillary lacks those qualities.

Angelia   February 20th, 2008 11:08 am ET

Hilly continues to grasp at straws and show how desperate and silly she is. If she had ran her campaign the way Obama is running his, she might not be where she is at now. But flip flopping on issues, dirty tactics and trying to pull a rabbit out of her azz has caught up and again, she cries foul. There was a little boy who did that with wolves once. . .

jude   February 20th, 2008 11:08 am ET

Mike V   February 20th, 2008 11:10 am ET

Is this how far Clinton has sunk? She has to resort to attacking a low-level Obama supporter because he botched an interview question. How about we scrutinize every state senator who backs Clinton too and find out how many mistakes they made in interviews?

BTW, what is Hillary's big accomplishment in her SHORTER career as an elected official?? Voting for the Iraq war?? Yeah that really shows she has the experience. But I guess all those years just watching her husband do the job makes up for it right?? Right Hillary??

Move along, nothing to see here. Just more drab from an increasingly desperate losing (lost?) election campaign. Thankfully, there should only be 2 more weeks of this.

If you think that's fair, then let's talk about Paul Begala and what he said on CNN about Hillary; He said something about how Hillary needs to take John Edwards words and ideas, even if she doesn't get his endorsement… Please ask Hillary to explain…Why does her experienced supporter thinks she doesn't have a mesage of her own?

You don't hear anyone, from either camp, telling Obama he needs to take someone else's message to win.

SlapStick, Florida   February 20th, 2008 11:11 am ET

Wow, she is at it again. If HRC and her camp wants to win, she needs to tighten ship and get busy. I could care less what someone else is doing on their side of the isle if I am loosing. I would be more focused on me and what is it that I need to be doing. HRC needs to get rid of her entire campaign aides because they are not doing their jobs!!!

I'm a 63 year-old female Ohio voter, supposed to be part of Hillary's demographic. When I listen to her speeches, I hear "I, I, I" and
"Me, Me, Me." When I listen to Obama, I hear "We, We, We." Guess
who I'm voting for? "We the people" are speaking. Listen up, Hillary!

Haighter   February 20th, 2008 11:11 am ET

Am I missing something? What, exactly, are all these "accomplishments" and this "experience" Clinton is talking about? She's the junior senator from New York… but other than that, what public office has she held? Is she counting her spouse's experience as her own? And I can't help but remember that her pet project as First Lady was Universal Health Care and that she and Bill failed to get that done even with 8 years in the White House. She needs to do a better job explaining to me what she means, exactly, when she touts these supposed attributes as a candidate.

Dee   February 20th, 2008 11:11 am ET

There she goes again with the negativity. I suppose nothing was learned from the results in Wisconsin. Stop the negativity. Focus on your own strengths. The voters are not stupid. They can make up their own minds. The negative stuff is such a turn off. Enough already.

Sounds like the typical Obama supporters who just direct you to his website instead of answering. Saying someone is inspirational doesn't count as a record of accomplishment or of policy goals no matter how many times it is repeated. I don't seem to encounter any Obama supporters that have the answer to that question.

ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ Hillary Clinton is done!

She keeps jumping all over ANYTHING she can find to try and bring this man down! I am so glad Obama doesn't lower himself to this level. We ALL know he could with all of the Skeletons in the Clinton Past.

Hillary you are Boreing us past the point of even listening to you at all. I personally have tuned you out and I was pulling for you 2 years ago. I have to believe that you are just like George Bush in your style, I say that because you have VERY experienced High paid Political EXPERTS advising you and like Bush you are NOT listening to them. No professional could be advising you to act the way you are.

Is this what we have to look ofrward to for the next 2 weeks? More Gradeschool level attacks and tedious attempts to distract us? This makes the Democrats look so bad. While this Single minded Woman attacks Obama without merit Obama has to prepare to go against McCain who is trying attacks of his own. Hillary is praticing" I win or NOONE wins" politics. She will Bring down ALL of the Democratic party to save herself. McCain is already parroting her false claims against Obama and she just keeps dishing them out.

Show some Integrity Hillary.

Walt, Belton,TX   February 20th, 2008 11:12 am ET

Actually, Hillary could be asked the same question and have to give the same answer. Unless, of course, you can count piggy-backing on other Senators' bills and efforts. Seems all her efforts have been toward raising money and castigating anyone dissagreeing with her brand of socialism…………. uh, medical care. She should ask Canadians what they think about their socialized medical care, as those that can afford it come to the US to get good care.

Dave   February 20th, 2008 11:13 am ET

More of the same.

Independent Voter, TN   February 20th, 2008 11:13 am ET

Amen, Hillary. I can't find a thing that Obama has accomplished other than being articulate and eloquent. No one seems to care, though. They seem to be sick of the status quo which comes from investing in partisan politics.

At the moment I like McCain because he represents us moderates. Working in a bipartisan manner is the only way to get things accomplished in this country. Clinton was a moderate by most measures and wound up with an above average presidency because he worked with the Republican Congress.

With Obama having the most liberal voting record in the Senate, if he's elected we're guaranteeing ourselves four more years of gridlock and partisan bickering. Were he more moderate or had any kind of a record to run on or had served in the military, I might think otherwise.

Miguel   February 20th, 2008 11:13 am ET

This is a joke! The Clintons are so desperate for attention. Her record in the Senate is terrible! Obama is much better. This negativity is more of the past. We need Obama when the Clintons continue to attack and use the politics of untruthfulness

MD   February 20th, 2008 11:13 am ET

Hillary should be careful not to play this up too much. If you look at the Congressional Record and see what bills SHE has sponsored, it is nothing to be proud of. There are no bills that represent anything more than small "gifts" to her constituents.

Mk   February 20th, 2008 11:13 am ET

Can someone please list ALL of Hillary's accomplishments.
I mean ALL the things she has gotten done with her 35years of experience???
She should have a very very lengthy list with that much experience.
The things she has "tried to do" are not exactly accomplishments.
And being married to Bill Clinton doesn't count.

WM   February 20th, 2008 11:13 am ET

What are Hillary's accomplishments? She has none, she is running on Bill Clinton's legacy! We don't want another four years of endless scandals under a Clinton administration, that's all it would be. She is a sore loser who needs to crawl under a rock somewhere and be quiet!

voter in NH   February 20th, 2008 11:14 am ET

Let's see if this clip gets as much coverage as the negative clips of Hillary Clinton and Bill Clinton. By the way, I have been watching for an excerpt of Michelle Obama's "For the first time in my adult life I am really proud…" I missed the interview and thought by now CNN would have run it as much as they ran the Bill Clinton addressing a reporter clip. However, to date, I have not seen it….Gee….media bias?????? I am sure this won't get posted, but just thought I would point out the obvious to the powers that be.

I watched that interview and it was horrible and very wrong of Chris Matthews to have attacked this poor guy like he did. The fact that Clinton is jumping on board this argument just shows how desperate she is.

HaHaHaHa!!!! It was bound to happen sooner or later..that everybody would find out what a Big Fake he really is. At least Hillary Clinton talks about what she has planned, where I've never heard this Obama give any indication what he would do if he were President. All he is, is a big talker and talk is cheap. Well, I hope everyone reads this article.

If you want a President that will get things done and put us back on the path of peace and good economy…Hillary is the one. Yea for her!!!!!!!!

anne   February 20th, 2008 11:16 am ET

Of course she pouched, like the vicious beast she is, drawing her claws out, and at what, lord, she really is deperate. For her claim that she wants to stick to solutions and specifics, she sure if focused on what anyone says about Obama. Where are solutions in this attack? Maybe she will give another solutions speech, oh yeah so thinks speeches are bad right, oh wait, I guess her speeches are good and Obama's speeches are bad. Its over Hillary, go back to Bill and chll berfore you destroy the Democratic party.

Chris M (Bsoton, MA)   February 20th, 2008 11:16 am ET

OK, fair enough. Obama clearly has accomplished nothing. Now your turn Seator Clinton. Can you or any surrogate name one legislative accomplishement you've ever had? Anyone else want to chime in here? Can you name one accomplishment?

I certainly can't name something either of these candidates has done, eccept get elected in ultra-liberal states. If I'm wrong, let me know.

Sandra   February 20th, 2008 11:17 am ET

To Hillary:
If you want any chance of winning this nomination please stop attacking, especially on petty things like this. Do not attack Obama or his supporters. Stress your accomplishments but be positive in all respects. Shake hands with Mr. Obama and congratulate him for his hard work thus far. Do not smile for an entire speech unless it is genuine. Be a team player by running pleasant, informative, and positive democratic ads. This is how you will help yourself and help the democratic party to win in November. Can you do this?

ILoveAmerica   February 20th, 2008 11:17 am ET

If Hillary really wants people to compare her record with Obama's record, why is she sending people clips of an interview with someone who obviously doesn't know ANYTHING about Obama's record?

Braineel   February 20th, 2008 11:17 am ET

A couple of good weeks?

This is not gracious to say the least.

Senator Clinton, please think about the future. One day you will be running again. If you spend all your fire shooting at Obama you will have no ammunition for a future run.

Scott   February 20th, 2008 11:17 am ET

Regarding Obama's accomplishments: Those of us that follow foreign policy know that Obama sponsored the Democratic Republic of the Congo Relief Act. The DRC, is a country in Africa in which more than 5 million people have died during the Clinton and Bush years… a fact lost on the Clintons whose foreign policy has ignored Africa(i.e. Rwanda, Darfur, etc). Islamic fascist regimes are fighting for control in serveral African nations, and if we really want to win the war on terrorism, we will have to do more to show countries like those in Africa that we believe in human rights and democracy. Obama is the only candidate with the vision in foreign policy necessary to accomplish this. It is American values, not weapons, that can best combat the growth in terrorism

Dan, Ohio   February 20th, 2008 11:18 am ET

I know for a fact that no one else had put forward health care issues more than Hilary. The lobbyist against her put up 135 million to discredit her and make sure she hits brick wall.
Yet nothing of this sort is mentioned anywhere. Issues that matter.

It is absolutely true, I went to his website, to one of his rallies, talked to people in his campaign, not a single one was able to name his legislative accomplishments. This whole race had become a popularity contest - who has the charm wins. No one dare scrutinize the darling of the media.

The country needs far more than charm. IF he gets the nomination, I can only hope that he truly beat her fair and square. But the media is very much on his side aiding him along. They did not even report the fact that she called him to congratulate on his Wisconsin win.

By the way, Barack ought to stop his campaign people's lies about how Bill Clinton set up office in Harlem to steal his votes in New York. He's been there long before you were Senator! I can only hope people hang up the phone when they start hearing such propaganda.

Hopefully, this post get a chance on CNN.

Deborah   February 20th, 2008 11:19 am ET

GO HILLARY!!!!! Obama doesn't have any experience. Does he even know a foreigh leader?? I doubt he can even name one.

sabine   February 20th, 2008 11:19 am ET

I watched the clip and Chris Matthews wasnt able to mention a single accomplishment of Obama's either. Clinton is doing whatever she can to steal Obama's spotlight away from him and her desperation is now showing.

Loretta   February 20th, 2008 11:19 am ET

The purple cool aid drinkers have no facts to back their leader. They are full of irrational exuberance, and that's it. No solutions to our countries problems. Hopes and dreams do not solve problems.

Dan   February 20th, 2008 11:19 am ET

I was heading to vote for obama because his speech is so inspring until I heard about the msnbc interview asking Texas Sen Kirk Watson to name Obamas accomplishment, and he couldnt name one…all he can say is he is inspring with his words and speech, and thats all I need to swhitch to Hilary Clinton

sean, michigan.   February 20th, 2008 11:19 am ET

could the clinton campaign be any more transparent?
i feel with the loss of their base, comes the loss of their minds.
their tack is regrettable. for them.

christian   February 20th, 2008 11:20 am ET

Hillary should not forget that Bill Clinton got into office in 1992 based on his speech. People all across America did not know him before the presidential campaign that put him in the White House. So, she should be real and admit that this time the Clinton magic is not working or has waned.

I still love the Clintons.

Goodheart   February 20th, 2008 11:20 am ET

Hillary helped create free health care in California for low income families. Now, name something Obama's done?

Chris   February 20th, 2008 11:23 am ET

How soon before we see this clip on Utube?
All Obama is .. is a good speaker ..
It is all rosy to talk about 'change' .. what are you going to change and how .. where are the specifics ???

Joy   February 20th, 2008 11:25 am ET

I find it curious that Obama was the winner last night and Hillary Clinton and John McCain are the headline hot buttons and Barack has won 10 in a row. .. but slightly more subtle than some of the misleading title/headlines in some of the articles on MSNBC.

Debra Austin, Texas   February 20th, 2008 11:29 am ET

Watson may have been uneducated on Obama's legislative career choosing instead to focus on his ability to bring new folks into the political process but for all of Hillary's cackling on this poor guy, how come you haven't focused on her introductory speaker in Ohio, the Machinest Union thug who almost stroked out going after Obama and who was booed by the Hillary crowd for his attacks. Let's make that a video moment too, hey Hillary?

caywen   February 20th, 2008 11:29 am ET

Yeah, this is rich. As an Obama supporter, I do want to smack Watson upside the head for not doing his homework on Obama before doing the interview. I mean, how about hitting Wikipedia or something before interviewing?

Not the best surrogate for the Obama camp.

Mr. Neutral   February 20th, 2008 11:29 am ET

Can someone tell me the last president who ran on the strength of his legislative record? Or even the last president who could cite significant accomplishments as a legislator? Bush, Clinton, Bush, Reagan, Carter, Nixon, Johnson, Kennedy, Eisenhower, Truman, FDR? Means nothing.

Kin   February 20th, 2008 11:29 am ET

Two of Hillary's accomplishments are a healthcare program tailored for millions of children and a healthcare initiative that actually put universal healthcare on the map.

Man, though, she really needs to straighten up before March 4th. Talk about make or break…

Bleuceruleum   February 20th, 2008 11:33 am ET

memorize memorize- geesh! lol

Kyle   February 20th, 2008 11:33 am ET

Barack Obama has recently released his blue print for change. A detailed vision of all the specifics you could ever want. His website also lays out 11 years of his accomplishments for anyone to see.

Ron   February 20th, 2008 11:35 am ET

People are supporting Obama blindly. As John McCain said, "He has ELOQUENT BUT EMPTY PROMISES FOR CHANGE". I am not denying Obama's inspirational qualities, but his promisises are empty. He will be a great dissapointment if he is elected President.

Renee Va.   February 20th, 2008 11:36 am ET

Excuse me I saw the interview and she was allowed by Chris Matthews to sit there and spin on and on about Hillary's work on this and that. But she also included herself as working with Hillary and if this is the case she should be able to rattle off if they worked so closely together. Where is the other guy is a supporter of what he likes about Obama. This was mixing apples and oranges.

AMW, Los Angeles   February 20th, 2008 11:49 am ET

And for those who think Senator Obama did a great Economic speech………may I please refer you to Senator Clintons Economic package proposals of August 2007 and December 2007 - eeeccckkksss and 'opps, he did it again'………

took the stuff right from Senator Clinton! Playing 'follow the leader' again……..Senator Clinton is the leader!

Anyone who does not believe me - go read it for yourselfs! Get informed - not just one sided! One sided always means that everyone has actually missed the other side. One sided means that no one has any basis to compare. One sided means that the choice to remain one sided is just plain dumb!

mark, pittsburgh   February 20th, 2008 11:54 am ET

What has Hillary ever done? The only reason she is in the position she's in right now is because her husband was the President.

joywinnebago   February 20th, 2008 11:54 am ET

Cindy…don't be naive. Your candidate knew she was speaking and knew she would be preempted. He has staffers who track media reports. He chose to go on in the middle of her speech. That's politics — the kind your candidate says he doesn't adhere to.

Philip, Elkhart IN   February 20th, 2008 11:55 am ET

Just because some people can't name the accomplishments does not mean they don't exist. Just like someone might not know Hungary is a country… it's still there.

How about these: Earned Income Tax Credit, getting vets paid, what about travelling to Russia to make sure the Cold War stays dead, and to head off terrorism?

I vote for Obama for sure. But I wouldn't be too upset if Hillary keeps this up, because I think McCain would make a fine President too.

HD - Kentucky   February 20th, 2008 11:56 am ET

What has Hillary accoplished? I honestly have no idea if she has accomplished anything that helped me and my community. I don't think being married to a former President is an accomplishment and that is the only thing I can think of that she has done because that has won her a seat in the Senate and connections with Superdelegates.

Let's focus on the real news which is that Obama has won 10 contests in a row! And Hawaii, Wisconsin, Maryland, Virginia and DC were blow out victories in favor of Obama. If the tables were turned and the Clintons would have won the past 10 primaries, the networks and DNC would be asking Obama to step aside like the republicans are doing to Huckabee. However, Obama has won those and no one is asking her to step aside. Instead, the reports we see are pointless and meaningless.

Thank you Wisconsin and Hawaii.

Eli   February 20th, 2008 11:56 am ET

No its not just that some Senator can not name something he has done, IT IS ABOUT Obama being all talk and no substance. ITS ABOUT the news media not asking Obama these kind of questions already. ITS ABOUT if we dont get this right today the Republicans will eat Obama up and spit him out within a couple of weeks if he gets the nomination. ITS ABOUT that this election has gotten off track of who can actually get the economy going and has plans and knows what they are doing, to lets vote for the cunning spirit since he can speak well and inspire people. If an inspirational person could be PRESIDENT, then we have quiet a few TEACHERS and PREACHERS that we need to give the job to. IM SORRY BUT I DO NOT WANT MICHELLE OBAMA (not an inspiration) ANYWHERE NEAR THE WHITE HOUSE.

Mani Venkatesh   February 20th, 2008 11:56 am ET

On the neutral side, it does become a logical question to ask during the upcoming debate to both candidates… not just top achievements but also top failures.

Obama does frequently raise his voting record on Iraq and Clinton's supporter did put across all her good deeds quite eloquently.

Lana L. Baysinger   February 20th, 2008 11:58 am ET

Obama has done nothing and has no plans for results. His speeches are pie in the sky speeches. Was'nt it Bush who told us he was the unitier in 2000? That worked out well, HA! Michelle Obama has no business in the white house if she has not been proud of America until now. The republicans will tear Obama in millions of pieces. They do not want to run against Hillary. Why are people so stupid?

Mike (Atlanta, GA)   February 20th, 2008 11:59 am ET

Since she seems intent on taking credit for everything her husband did while he was in office maybe Senator Clinton should be disqualified to run due to the two term limit on the Presidency.

Becky In Indiana   February 20th, 2008 12:00 pm ET

Should our judgement of Obama be based upon one supporter? Please don't think we are that stupid.

Linda   February 20th, 2008 12:00 pm ET

I am wondering how many of these Obama supporters have been sitting on their couches and letting the rest of us fight these battles for the last 20 years with the bruises and battlescars to show for it. Now all of a sudden you are the experts on what is what. Well, you might be able to buy this election, but that doesn't mean you are right. If the only thing that can get you off your couch is a person and not your country it doesn't mean much, in my opinion.

And health care coverage for children is just one accomplilshment of Hillary Clinton. If you don't know some of what she has accomplished by now, you haven't been paying attention for a long, long time.

WK   February 20th, 2008 12:00 pm ET

Soundbites, slogans, ideas, promises, etc. I think the American people deserve to see a televised poygraphing of both candidates around 5 - 10 questions polled from the voters. And, let's not leave out the Republicans on this one either.

Frank   February 20th, 2008 12:00 pm ET

Obama is as thin as paper. His entire campaign is nothing but a slogan.

Obama supporters can't name anything about Obama besides his last name not being Clinton and "he gives a good speech".

About what?

What we are seeing is the Dems throwing away another Presidential election. This time, the Supreme Court will be lost for generations to come to right wing nonsense.

If the Dems want to win, they will give Hillary the nom. No way Obama will win.

Jenny, Rio Vista, CA   February 20th, 2008 12:00 pm ET

Hilary supporters should stop whining. I thought the move to start his speech before she finished was brilliant. Why should Barack sit and wait while Hilary is blasting him. This was supposed to be a concession speech, she didn't concede, she didn't thank all her hard workers that hit the streets for her in Wisconsin, and she didn't acknowledge Barack. Instead she started giving her usual stump speech. Barack had every right not to keep his supporters waiting while she was the one being rude.

steven   February 20th, 2008 12:00 pm ET

Mike, first I'll give you a lesson in etiquette. If use caps it comes across as fanatical.

As far as McCain being a war hero, tell me what he did to make him a hero. Heroes do something extraordinay, like saving a battalion or capturing a hill. Surviving 5 years in a prison camp is commendable, but here's a little tidbit; the military code states that your first objective upon getting captured is to escape. Escaping would be heroic, impressive, etc. I know this doesn't sound politcally correct but come on, hero? Name one thing he did that was heroic…

I'll name one thing Obama has done. He has inspired a nation.

Mille, NYC   February 20th, 2008 12:00 pm ET

NOTE HILLARY: WE DON'T LIKE YOU. WE DON'T WANT YOU AS OUR NEXT PRESIDENT. WE DON'T CARE IF YOU HAVE MORE EXPERIENCE THAN OBAMA. JOE BIDEN HAS MORE EXPERIENCE THAN YOU. JOHN MCCAIN HAS MORE EXPERIENCE THAN YOU. AND YOU WON'T LISTEN BECAUSE YOU THINK THAT YOU ARE SO SMART. WELL MAYBE…THAT IS NOT SO SMART.

IJ   February 20th, 2008 12:01 pm ET

MY DEAR HILARY,

YOU CAUSE YOU FAILURES. UNNECESSARY ATTACKS ON OBAMA.
HIGHESTIMACY ABOUT YOURSELF. TOO MUCH RELIANCE ON YOUR OWN UNDERSTANDING. NEGLIGENCE TO SOME VERY LITTLE BUT NECESSARY ISSUES. EASILY GETTING IRRITATED AND HURT BY THE ACTION OF THE NEXT PERSON.

Lol!! Can't she act dignified for once??? Just once!! Everybody knows at least one of Obama's acomplishment (Ethics Reform), so that guy was just not informed. But for hillary to jump on it and use it as an attack is just feeding into the perception that she's desperate! Common Hill, try to chill.

Perhaps if Hilary had not acted as if we owed her the nomination or that she earned it she would not be in the position she is in.
As a longtime Democrat and Clinton supporter I have been quite angry with Bill Clinton for his lowering his stature as a former president to be the attack dog for Hilary! I think that Hilary should step aside and maintain her Senate seat she has been a good senator but we owe her nothing!
I do not know about my fellow democrats but I do not want to go back I want something new, different and cooperative. YES WE CAN!

P Moore   February 20th, 2008 12:01 pm ET

What did Ronald Reagan "accomplish" before he was in the White House? John Kennedy? And, oh, lest we forget, Bill Clinton????? Hilliary is a desperate mess and a sore loser, and if she wins (steals) the nomination, I will vote for John McCain, simply because he's the lesser of two evils, even though I'm a Democrat.

And, by the way, what is it exactly that she has "accomplished"? She and her philandering husband (who, by the way, made our teenagers feel like it's "ok" to have oral sex, and we now have an epidemic on our hands). Think people, think. I don't know what Obama can do, but I'd like to try something different, because politics as usual AIN'T WORKIN"!

Ken, Highland, Illinois   February 20th, 2008 12:02 pm ET

Let's not forget that she protected the credit card industry by supporting the republican bankruptcy laws. Who cares if most people decaring bankruptcy are trying to pay off medical bills. Actually, Hillary has a republican leaning legislative legacy as far as I'm concerned. It's a little late for her to change into a populist even if that is what your polls tell you.

California Independent   February 20th, 2008 12:02 pm ET

I find it odd the campaign is just doing this now. The inability of supporters to say an accomplishment been going on in exit polls, interviews and focus groups. It has been in print and on cable news for months.

The 'NAME ONE ACCOMPLISHMENT' has been an ongoing joke on Fox and in the blogosphere for months and they just now catch on.

Obama supporters then follow up with a list of the legislation he has signed on to. Which again is another little giggle for the rest of us. This is yet another case where he tries to take credit for someone else's work without citing them.

If it isn't Clinton……… McCain '08

KMAN   February 20th, 2008 12:02 pm ET

His most important accomplishement … has been mounting the most effective presidential primary campaign in recent history and beating the pants(pantsuits) off her royal highness who didn't have the foresight to look beyond february 5th.

Bring on that WARMONGER MCCAIN … he can't even get his oun party behind him … the republicans couldn't have picked a more suitable candidate to represent the PAST than this relic!

ben   February 20th, 2008 12:02 pm ET

Well, I didn't expect to vote for Kirk Watson for president anyway, nor did I plan on voting for Obama's wife. I am going to vote for Obama.

Billiam NYC   February 20th, 2008 12:02 pm ET

Wow…she speaks of her experience as if she was the U.S. President back in the 90s instead of Bill. I honestly can't think of anything significant shes done herself. Was Bill or Hilary the president?

I like both HRC and Obama, but if she keeps up with these desperate, groundless attacks…i just don't know. Alternatively, I'm frustrated with Obama for not aggressively putting forth any of the well-detailed plans he has on his own website. That can at least help his credibility a little.

They are both starting to give the same empty rhetoric in their own ways, and its annoying.

Al   February 20th, 2008 12:02 pm ET

I'm a bit confused. The Clinton campaign points out an interview where a state senator and supporter of Obama could not list a single one of his accomplishments. Instead of giving some thought as to why that might be, everyone here instantly trashes Clinton and accuses her of dirty tricks. Does anyone care that a state senator and supporter is not able to name a single Obama accomplishment?? Is electability the only reason to vote for someone?? Does experience mean nothing at all?? These are some of the questions I'm asking myself before jumping on any candidate's bandwagon. This is a very important election so I'm going to educate myself on all the candidates records (good and bad) before making my decision. I hope that at least some of you have done the same.

James   February 20th, 2008 12:10 pm ET

So what if Obama does not have a list of accomplishments. He has a vision…something we have not seen for awhile. W. had a list of accomplishments and look where he took us as a nation. Give Obama a break!

ObamaSUPPORTER   February 20th, 2008 12:12 pm ET

That is so cheap. If you want to attack — attack a policy; attack something that would affect me as a citizen, that would affect my life. Why should I care about someone who couldn't think of any single accomplishment. This individual was asked on the spot, so she couldn't think about it. Why is that such a big deal???

Bobby   February 20th, 2008 12:12 pm ET

here's 1 thing:

Obama sponsored legislation blocking overtime restrictions instituted by the Bush administration, a move that buffeted the wages of union workers in Illinois. He also sponsored a law that extended the reach of the Earned Income Tax Credit to the working poor…

No go away Hillary.

D.   February 20th, 2008 12:13 pm ET

I saw the interview. It was really embarssed. Senator Watson (Obama's backer) was asked the question, and given time and several opportunities (not just once) to answer it. He could not name one!!!!

Voters, please wake. It's your fate and our country's fate in the next 4 years. Thing about, someone who could not complish anything yet in past, and he's given the chance and time, — several years in the senator. Suddenly, he can now? he's not 4 years old, and he's 46 years old. I don't see he could change from complishing nothing to changing everything? Give me a break.

Jeffrey, Douglas, MI   February 20th, 2008 12:13 pm ET

What exactly IS Hillary's "35 years" of experience???? I know that 8 of them consisted of serving tea to the wives of heads of state…and if indeed she WAS peforming more duties than those of First Lady, it would have been utterly inappropriate.

Dave Iowa City, IA   February 20th, 2008 12:13 pm ET

Hillary keeps saying that Obama is all talk and NO action. I think winning 10 states in a row is A LOT of action. Hillary is getting very desperate and it is only going to get worse. She is just grasping at straws. Soon she will realize that Obama is the choice of the nation and not just a couple of large states.

Can't wait to vote in Ohio   February 20th, 2008 12:16 pm ET

Can someone name me an accomplishment of Senator Clinton's beyond getting earmarks for the state she carpetbagged into electing her to the senate? She may have ideas and plans but the only thing she ever tried to push through (health care) bombed horrifically. What makes her think she can push it through if she's elected?

Bob   February 20th, 2008 12:17 pm ET

Senator Clinton is no longer a viable candidate. Her only way to the nomination now is by attacks on Senator Obama that will make it impossible for her to reunite the party and beat Senator McCain in the fall. She will probably still not get the nomination and her attacks are already helping Senator McCain in his probable race with Senator Obama. I doubt she will back down and she is now being encouraged by the republicans who want to have her to run against to rally their base behind Senator McCain. Perhaps the super-delegates will wake up and prevent the train crash. One can hope!

A. Harrison   February 20th, 2008 12:17 pm ET

Obama supporters, instead of answering the question, you pose it to Clinton. Clearly she's in a league above OBama in accomplishments, you know this. However, you refuse to question your own candidate.

This race for the whitehouse is not about fixing issue to me anymore, it's about "who we LIKE", and that's the stupidest thing one can ever do to make a decision, based on feelings.

Facts are facts, the Clintons where it's at Good or Bad, they make things happen and our 7 years of hell will "CHANGE" under them.

Hillary 2008!

OBAMA …..I don't think so anymore until you can say your own words, help your wife be proud of her country, and actually do something in Washington BUT TALK.

Oliver   February 20th, 2008 12:17 pm ET

McCain will be the next president.

Rob   February 20th, 2008 12:18 pm ET

Why is it generally the conservatives who misspell multiple words in their posts? Hmmm.

Hillary continues to speak of her time as First Lady as though she had been President. As mentioned, can someone name ONE accomplishment she's had in public office? There was, of course, wrecking the chance for health-care reform when she was (physically, at least) in the White House, through her refusal to compromise or work in a bipartisan manner…just like GWB.

I find the tactics of the Clinton campaign to be disheartening and tacky…they're like annoying little terriers nipping at Obama's heels.

nh supporter   February 20th, 2008 12:23 pm ET

Great job, Obama! Obama stole something from McCain during his speech in Houston last night. He showed a bracelet worn by a soldier who got killed in Iraq. Obama claimed that it's given to him by the soldier's mom.. How touching?!
It's funny. I remember clearly that few days ago, McCain was showing a bracelet he's wearing during a speech and said that it was given to him by a deceased soldier's mom and said how proud he was to the soldiers who died for our country..
Obama did it again, borrowed something from other people speech again!! He is so good at borrowing from other people. How inspiring!!

Mary Jo in Illinois   February 20th, 2008 12:23 pm ET

Way to go Chris Mathews! Stephanie Tubbs Jones did a terrific job of naming several of Hillary's accomplishments. Obama's surrogate was at a loss for words each time Mathews asked him to name one of Obama's major accomplishments. All he could eventually say was that Obama is inspiring. That about sums it up!!

Thimbletack   February 20th, 2008 12:23 pm ET

Go Hillary and Obama, nothing will ever make me vote for McCain even though I dont like either one.The subversive Limburger nuts are doing their best to swift boat the Dems.

Faizan Ali   February 20th, 2008 12:23 pm ET

Here's what Obama has done and will continue to do: kick Hillary's…

Nic   February 20th, 2008 12:23 pm ET

Hillary its not your record, it's you! Don't you see you are doing the same old thing. Let Barack tell you his accomplishments, and then you all can compare Capitol Hill voting records. And your voting record on Capitol Hill (where everything truly matters) contradicts half of your campaign. You are gasping for air Hillary, and still not learning anything from your mistakes. Hillary you are still spending your time attacking your opponent as he continually brushes you off and lays out his plan for the future to the nation. I was a supporter of you as well Hillary, but now i can't even look at you on television. I fear you will divide the party terribly after you lose. Let's hope your greed for power doesn't overflow into the Democratic Party and divide it.

I think it's the mandate for heathcare coverage with the threat of garnished wages that is turning people off.
If she was my employer, I'd have to give in or quit, but I think she's forgetting she works for US, and that aspect turned me off bigtime!

Mike   February 20th, 2008 12:23 pm ET

I'm an Obama supporter and I think it was a mistake by Mr. Watson to not be able to name at least one of Obama's legislative achievements (Ethic/Lobby Reform). However, Mr. Watson is a state senator and Ms. Tubbs is a US Senator, a bit unmatched. Nontheless, he should have been prepared.

Obama's Bandwagon and its Delusions   February 20th, 2008 12:24 pm ET

Wake up you all!

Obama's rethoric and empty speeches (as even McCain recognized this point last night) have led to a delusional bandwagon, which so many democratic voters are following! Can't you see?

In addition, can't you understand that the Obama votes from "independents and republicans" are, if anything, a republican strategy to give Obama victories and take Hillary out? The republicans would have a much harder time dealing with Hillary — but not Obama!

If Obama gets the nomination, in part due to the "help" of the republican vote, he will then be grilled and terminated by the conservatives. And, again, this country will have to endure four more years of political sameness… Haven't you all realized that the conservatives have not targeted Obama yet? They're just waiting for the right moment.

Wake up, democrats, while there is still some hope, and VOTE FOR HILLARY! Vote for solutions, not delusions!

After the fool that Bill has made of himself, I would think that Hillary's camp would be very hesitant to attack surrogates. And really, how can a supporter who appears before a camera for his own political benefits reflect badly on a candidate who has no control over that supporter's learning curve? I am beginning to think that the media is trying to stoke the fires of this campaign by working to generate issues. Face it, CNN has not had this kind of audience since 9/11.

The Clinton Campaign, and the McCain campaign it seems, will spend the next weeks spending money, time, and TV exposure trying any and all tactics to discredit Obama. Much of it, like this discussion of legislative "where's the beef?" has merit. The problem for them is that the electorate has had it with them.

Much like the early public perception of candidate Ronald Reagan as a former b-level actor, spouting only platitudes…But the public wanted CHANGE, and they were willing to suspend their disbeilief of his intellect to embrace his "message" of a return of American pride during a recession and hostage crisis. Obama represents this kind of spirit and change, and it seems, increasingly, that the old style politics of trying to discredit him by Clinton and McCain cannot stop this train.

TB   February 20th, 2008 12:25 pm ET

Clinton likes to say "it's about picking a president" well sunshine…I think the American People have picked a president…well at least a nominee for president. Just because you choose to ignore the pick doesn't mean the pick gets changed.

James Moore   February 20th, 2008 12:25 pm ET

How about 10 STRAIGHT primary/caucus VICTORIES!

jessafina   February 20th, 2008 12:25 pm ET

i'm guessing that 99% of the people in this country don't even know what senators even DO. In terms of Clinton's record, most of what she's done in the senate include things like :
• Name post office after Sergeant Riayan A. Tejeda
• Honor the life and legacy of Alexander Hamilton on the bicentennial of his death
• Name post office after John A. O'Shea
Very little substance in her record. Seriously, folks. More important than these things are qualities like:
exhibiting good judgement, transparency in our government (and in our official's personal lives… um, may we see your tax returns, Hil? Oh… and who funded the Clinton LIbrary?)
Barack Obama is not perfect, but he has what it takes to get this country off their behinds and moving in a new and positive direction. No more Clintons. They are tainted. They are ego maniacs. They are old news. Wake up, people. Aim Higher. VOTE OBAMA.

angelica   February 20th, 2008 12:25 pm ET

Ay que Hilary, you need to move aside and put your energy in helping beat those republicans. I keep sticking up for you saying what a tough and smart lady you are but you have now turned me off.

Philip   February 20th, 2008 12:25 pm ET

I can name an accomplishment:
Senator Obama released his tax returns.

Monsur   February 20th, 2008 12:25 pm ET

Obama should run for Priest not for President.

king   February 20th, 2008 12:25 pm ET

Josie   February 20th, 2008 12:25 pm ET

Senator Obama is a follower not a leader he follows everyone else`s campaign strategies and speeches. And his wife `s statement was director toward White America

oh no she didn't   February 20th, 2008 12:25 pm ET

Stop the presses this is big news. Only to a sorry excuse of a campaign. I can see why you are losing.

upset   February 20th, 2008 12:26 pm ET

I think that the America people need to open their eyes! This is history for both Clinton and Obama. But we need a person that can fight for us ALL Hillary Clinton is that person. She has always been proud of her country! unlike MS OBama that just now in her adult life she is proud. Wake people!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Shane, NY   February 20th, 2008 12:26 pm ET

Ok Obama was involved in the Senate's drive for improved border security and immigration reform. In 2005, he co-sponsored the "Secure America and Orderly Immigration Act" introduced by Sen. John McCain(interesting right). I'm just starting, he was also involved in adding three amendments to Comprehensive Immigration Reform Act in 2006. There was "Lugar-Obama" which expands the Nunn-Lugar cooperative threat reduction concept to conventional weapons, including shoulder-fired missiles and anti-personnel mines. There was the "Coburn-Obama Transparency Act" which provided oversight for our government website and where funds were being allocated(keeping them honest). He is a member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee which focused on trying to curb wmd's. Obama worked with Russ Feingold to eliminate gifts of travel on corporate jets by lobbyists to members of Congress and require disclosure of bundled campaign contributions under the "Honest Leadership and Open Government Act". Sounds like he is just talking about fighting lobbyist. He also introduced the "Iraq War De-Escalation Act" to put a cap on our troops. He sponsored 2008 Defense Authorization Act which provided safeguards for our disabled veterans(he cares about our troops). So I t
