The Teamsters represents roughly 1.4 million members, making it one of the largest and influential labor unions.

Obama was endorsed Friday by the Service Employees International Union, the largest union with a membership of 1.5 million.

The Obama campaign also announced that the International Brotherhood of Boilermakers had decided to back the Illinois senator's White House bid.

I wonder if Pelosi will step in, and stop the bleeding?

Maybe Madame Speaker is enjoying the Clinton demise!

Much as I like and respect the Obama movement, I think certain unfortunate realities will rule. Democracy comes from the latin words "demos" meaning "white man" and "cracy" meaning "in blue suits". Only McCain fits this definition.

The best choice for this country will be John MCcain.Democrats have tried to tear and have almost succeded in shredding their strongest candidate and their cult hero Obama is just not qualified for the job .Union support may further help this process along.
Democrats are just ddicted to general election losses.

The Clinton camp should have realized by now that no negative campaign can stop Obama's surge. They tried it with their TV Ad in Wisconsin, guess what, IT DIDN'T WORK! Give up already Hillary!

While I appreciate Michael in Canada's presuming to campaign for Hillary, I'm not sure why anyone here would listen to him. Oh, wait! I know. NAFTA!

It is undeniable that Barack Obama has been called by God. Hillary is not aware that she is being used to make him the first Black President. Obama 08!!!!!!

I am with Michael. Lets get some real candidates, like Hillary and McCain. Then we have a choice. Obama cannot win in November and I have no faith in a vision. I need to see qualifications and a record.

For someone who is supposedly not the establishment candidate he is getting an awful lot of the establishment behind him.

It's worrying that he now has the mafia's vote.

I think McCain made a fool of his old age by saying Obama has no experience. Obama is doing more better than McCain,at least Obama has ideas and plans for everyone, but McCain has none except for those he is going to take over from his God father(Bush) which led us into the mess we are now.

The U.S. American people are choosing Sen. Obama. Hillary Clinton should be careful not to damage the overall goals of her own party at the risk of turning increasingly negative toward her opponent. No one is listening to her message because they can only hear Sen. Obama's positive message of change and participation.

I think it is sad that you turned your back on Hillary. I think we need a president that will do more than make nice speeches. An example is last night on Hardball, Matthews asked the Obama supporter what Obama has done in the legislature and the supporter had no answer. This is true for so many Obama supporters. They have been drawn in on the speeches and do not see the reality. Obama has been making many cheap shots at Hillary and when she does it, she is considered playing negative. There is a double standard in the media when it comes to Hillary. Whether it is gender based or Clinton based, anything she does is over analyzed and blown out of proportion. She is the best candidate to run our country and is losing because she can't deliver a speech as Obama can. Will America wake up before it is too late!?

If Edwards is going to have his endorsement mean anything, he needs to get it done by next week.
Third major union endorsement in 2 weeks for Obama.
May have influence over Texas Latinos too.

Jean, just like you will never vote for Obama, there are many of us who will never vote for H.C. But at the end of the day, we have to get the Republicans out of office! We have lost sight of why the war was supposedly started in the first place. Now we are seen internationally as bullies, forcing our way of life on other countries who really don't want it! Some of these groups will continue fighting and bombing each other until the last one is gone. They have fought for thousands of years and will continue to do so! Finally, we have someone that is bold enough to say enough is enough, at least for our troops!

Congrats to Obama and his loyal supporters, at least he acknowledges his losses and win's. Unlike Hillary, why is it that she never acknowledges the supporters that did come out to vote for her? Sounds like sour grapes to me. Oh and by the way Hillary
We are still waiting for you to release your tax returns. Unless.....you have something to hide. hmmmm....
