TIME FOR A CHANGE   February 21st, 2008 3:15 pm ET

I hope Obama throw down with Hillary like it's the last 3 min in the super bowl. Obama, we are with you all the way here in Georgia, let's kick some "butt", and answer their question about your kindergarten records where they won't and can't find nothing. Obama is the man!! LET'S GIVE THEM THEIR ANSWER LIKE YOU ALL WAYS DO, AT THIS GREAT DEBATE THAT YOU WILL WIN AGAIN. GO OBAMA, GO OBAMA!!!

Betsy,MD   February 21st, 2008 2:54 pm ET

HILLARY NEEDS TO SHOW OBAMA FOR WHAT HE IS ...A SNAKE OIL SALESMAN. HE PUTS ON A GREAT SHOW TAKES YOUR MONEY AND HANDS YOU A MIRACLE CURE. THE TROUBLE IS HIS CURE ONLY WORKS FOR HIM. HE WALKS OFF WITH A BIG SMILE AND YOU WIND UP A DOLLAR SHORT.

suzie   February 21st, 2008 2:44 pm ET

Just because Clinton says Obama has no substance does not mean it is true. Have you ever been to his website? It has information papers on his policies on any political issue imaginable. I am so sick of hearing he has no substance. That rhetoric has no substance. Let's be honest, he has run a phenomenal campaign against the Clinton machine and he has done it with dignity, intelligence and respect. If he did half as much as President we woud be very lucky to have him.

Concern Voter, VA   February 21st, 2008 2:40 pm ET

Here a question for Obama for tonight’s debate. Why do we not see more endorsers by Obama’s side at rallies’, like George Clooney, Reverend Jessie Jackson, or Oprah Winfrey? Will they be considered for Cabinet positions? Or does he need to put some distance between himself and them because it would make him look liberal, you know like he really is.

JM   February 21st, 2008 2:07 pm ET

I'm with you Niki! If people actually "listened" to what the candidates are saying, they would realize that Obama doesn't actually "say" anything. He believes this, he believes that, yada yada yada. That's all fine and good, because I believe most of us share similar concerns, but...WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ABOUT IT?? Hillary has answers. Hillary has a viable plan. Hillary WILL get things done for this country! The more I read about Obama (even on his website), the more frightened I become of what will happen to this country should he become President. I like the guy, he just does not have the experience, or conviction, to be our leader. We need someone who is going to take control and not fall to pressure. GO HILLARY!!!!!!!

Quinn - Houston, Texas   February 21st, 2008 1:50 pm ET

Hillary will have to be very careful tonight. She needs to make her case without appearing too negative against Obama. Otherwise it will probably backfire.

I am almost certain that either this debate or the next one will feature a ploy by Hillary to catch Barack off-balance. He needs to be prepared for the unexpected.

Obama 08!

Bayou Joe   February 21st, 2008 12:45 pm ET

CNN, Don't disappoint me with a boring love fest this time. Ask the hard questions so that we can actually compare these two. One question that needs to be asked is: What will you do about illegal immigration and the People that are already here in the Country Illegaly.

Steve, Austin, Texas   February 21st, 2008 12:43 pm ET

Obama has the smarts and the policy know-how to win this debate. Go Obama!!

Stephina   February 21st, 2008 12:37 pm ET

I Voted early for Clinton yesterday in Texas!!!!

1st Choice: Clinton
2nd Choice: McCain

I prefer substance to the "Don't Worry, Be Happy" candidate!!!!

ROB   February 21st, 2008 12:37 pm ET

shes going to be soo aggressive tonight.. and obama is going to make her look soo foolish. I can't wait til hillary is out of the scene.. he should be worrying about Mccain, not hillary. Have you noticed Hillary looks like she has aged 20 years since SC.

lets go obama !!!

deliseo   February 21st, 2008 12:37 pm ET

I would like to see Obama be a bit more specific in this debate and continue to talk about how the new
Washington should be run. I'm tire of Hillary and McCain talking about experience when expereince got
this country in mutlitple trillion dollar whole. I think someone talking about a change is more likely to get something done new that hasn't been done in a long time. I would like to see Hillary debate powerful so if she does win she has the trust of the people like me who left
being a democrat and change to indepedant because he or she got tired of the Republican and Democrats disputing forever in congress and not getting anything done.

aarimo   February 21st, 2008 12:05 pm ET

If Hillary fails to become the Democratic Candidate and does not win the Presidency, it is going to take 30 years or more before a woman can become a USA president. What an example of equality from the cradle of democracy!

Sherry   February 21st, 2008 12:05 pm ET

Got my popcorn ready for a tonight. Can't wait to see these two debate again. Never remember an election that has had this much interest in my life time. Did you know there is an online petition to get support to count the Florida and Michigan delegates?

John Adkisson   February 21st, 2008 12:01 pm ET

I hope Barack is a bit more prepared tonight for the nasty stuff that will be coming his way - either by Hillary or one of the press interrogators.

The riskiest subject will be Michelle's inartful statement about about pride in her country. This sets up a Dukasis moment if he does not answer the question just right. Barack must not only "clarify" the remark - but express a bit of husbandly outrage (calmly) that Michelle's statement has been used cynically (by the McCains) to question her obvious patriotism. He needs to stand up for his spouse, show a little protective instinct, and testify to her great pride in America with examples.

I hope someone checks these blogs - because if they have missed this risk– it could hurt him in the way that Dukakis was sunk by his lackluster response to the question about whether he would support the death penalty if his wife were the victim. It wasn't what Dukakis said that killed his campaign, it was the absence of outrage and concern for his spouse at the very scenario posed.

Michelle is a fine patriot - it is not only a distraction, but more importantly a sleazy low blow to take advantage of a remark that was worded poorly to suggest otherwise. Shouldn't the McCains, after what they went through in South Carolina in 2000, be the first know how sick this attack is?

I hope this will not be a waste of air time like the so called last debate. I would like to see some hard hitting debating going on in this one; some real questions and maybe some real answers too. I would like to finally hear Obama's policies on something? I don't want to see the stupid make nice with each other crap!! Hillary you need to play this like the Giants and it's the last 3 mins of the Super Bowl. I'll be cheering for like I did for the Giants!!!!

GO HILLARY!!! ATTACK HIM ON THE REAL ISSUES!!!!!

No matter what SHE does,It won't help her!!!!!
But I hope she goes on the ATTACK too!!!!! LOL!LOL! That will put the last nail in her coffin!!!!

Micahel Guinn, Ventura, CA   February 21st, 2008 11:58 am ET

For those of you who seem to want a blood-bath-we are Democrats-we can disagree without being disagreeable. If you want an ATTACK as you say, perhaps you need to join the Karl Rove party. The attack thing is old and is going nowhere....just like the Clinton campaign. Barack Obama is the one who can and will change things for the better. If you don't know where he stands on "anything"–you haven't been listening. If you have questions on any policy- go to the website. It's a new day for America...I hope you join us!

California Voter   February 21st, 2008 11:57 am ET

Who's Vince Young?

Who is Obama? I hope CNN will ask some questions of Obama that challenge his statements that he will unify people, like what did he accomplish will in the Senate? I would like to know where Obama would spend our foreign aid funds. I would like to hear from his mouth how he feels about belonging to a church that some view as separatist. I would like to know exactly how it happened that Rezko's wife closed on the property next to his on the very same day. Apparently, the doctor selling the property wanted to sell both parcels together and magically, Rezko's wife ended up buying the other parcel. Just a few questions for starters that I believe Obama should answer.

B. Smart   February 21st, 2008 11:37 am ET

Texas is ready for Obama. Go Texas!

Obama was elected to the Senate in 2004 against token opposition,
sworn into office in 2005, and barely two years later he announces his
candidacy for President. His campaign ? It claims nothing of importance happened before he arrived ( "old politics" ) . But , now he
is here and he will save us ( "new politics" ) . Now that is Audacity !
BACK HILLARY !! IT"S THE ONLY SENSIBLE THING TO DO !!

Ron, TX   February 21st, 2008 10:42 am ET

Obama is to America, what Vince Young was to UTexas!

GOBama! GObama!

Wow!
Obama Wins Debate.
He crushes Hillary with a barrage of Hope and Change.
Oops. That was a premature exclamation.
You mean I was just imagining tomorrows CNN debate coverage.
You are welcome in advance CNN. I have just written your headline for tomorrow.
Even if it’s not true you can will it to be so.
