Schneider: Clinton throws punch on plagiarism charge

AUSTIN, Texas (CNN) - "Change you can Xerox," Clinton just said. She is trying to continue making the plagiarism charge - that Obama lifted a portion of a speech from Massachusetts Gov. Deval Patrick - an issue. But that line seemed contrived to me.And Obama clearly enjoyed the plagiarism question, using it as an opportunity to portray the charge as an example of the "silliness" of Washington he is battling.Related: Watch Obama defend plagiarism charges

debate number 19...(sigh) I could all but recite both of their positions for them. Campaigns are all about talk, so really its a toss of the dice to vote for either of them.

    Bill,

We already know that you hate Hillary so your calling it contrived is to be expected.

Obama's entire campaign is a repackage of Deval's 2004 campaign for MA governor.

    Obama's campaign is CONTRIVED.

Who cares. Let them debate. Your moderators suck and keep the same order in questioning. It was only just now that they are starting to debate. not run a set to make Obama look good as Campbell obvioulsy would like it.

Silliness indeed! Didn't Clinton hire a ghostwriter for her autobiography and didn't acknowledge it?

pretty funny response from Obama. in my view, Hillary tried to go after him with "change we can xerox" didn't go over too well. the crowd sort of hissed.
Obama held himself well, as you would expect from any presidential candidate in this stage of the game.

Senator Clinton is desperate and grasping at straws. She should stick to the issues, but that seems very difficult for her.

Are we watching the same debate? Schneider is take anything Hillary says and criticizes her. She is clearly showing a mastery of the issues, and Obama agrees and adds a few comments. Schneider and the rest of the media need to start taking Obama to task for his inexperience.

Obama is right. How can you plagarize something that someone has given you permission to use. Sounds like desperation....

Clinton draws comparisons between Social Security and Universial (Socialized) Healthcare.

If I'm not mistaken, the government as borrowed against the SS program to the point that there are conflicting reports of when it will run out??

    Is anyone listening out there?

Hillary plagiarised John McCain by saying Barack is an "eloquent speaker" – those words were uttered by John two days back.

Why is it that Campbell Brown cuts off Senator Clinton and allows Obama to run on with his views? As Sen. Clinton stated Talk is cheap. She has a plan. Obama has words that seem to be all air with no substance. Pretty speeches do not move mountains, Actions do. Keep up the good work Sen. Clinton You are refreshing and honest in the Bush climate of destruction.
