Schneider: Clinton throws punch on plagiarism charge

AUSTIN, Texas (CNN) - "Change you can Xerox," Clinton just said. She is trying to continue making the plagiarism charge - that Obama lifted a portion of a speech from Massachusetts Gov. Deval Patrick - an issue. But that line seemed contrived to me.And Obama clearly enjoyed the plagiarism question, using it as an opportunity to portray the charge as an example of the "silliness" of Washington he is battling.Related: Watch Obama defend plagiarism charges

That is a pretty lame comment by Hillary. Silly is right.

Clinton is coming off a bit petty – not presidential. There is so much Obama COULD talk about if the mud slinging were to start. The Clinton have so much material – thank you Bill.

Obama makes it very hard to see the differences, every time there is one he claims its "politics as usual" when sometimes they are good contrast!

way to go Obama. Hillary get over the fact that you can't even steal a line as good as Obama, let alone lead the country the way he will! I'm sick of the "Slick Rick" politics....

Hillary is telling it like it is. Obama should stop trying to minimize it. I guess he needs to defend the only thing he has going for him, his speeches.

I'm sorry, but that looked bad on Hillary. It smelled of desperation.

I'm not a religious person, but shouldn't he or she who is free of sin cast the first stone?

I'm sorry, but that just looked really bad on her.

Clinton with regard to health care seems to be coming from a pessimistic place rather than positive and allowing adults to be responsible for their choices. She reminds me of an old time negative manager,.

She is right. At least use your own slogans. Originality is key. Some might even call it PRESIDENTIAL. Those Obama supporters are rude. Uncalled for booing from the crowd.

How long have you been in the Obama camp Schneider?

    Contrived maybe, but, memorable!

Yes, health care should be mandatory, just like social security and medicare. No one is going to voluntarily pay for healthcare as long as they can get it for free because the rest of us have to pay higher premiums and taxes.

I found it to be "silliness" also. She needs momentum and her desperation is showing. Let it go already! Talk about the issues that you say are important Hillary. As a woman this is what turned me off to you, stay on track!

Hillary doesn't do anything that "donors" from new york don't let her do

What does she mean use your words. She doesn't do anything without other's approval, Her foreign policy is dictated by her pakistan and arab and israeli donors

I think you guys in the media need to stop trying to feed the fire of conflict and detracting from the issues. I'm watching the debate right now and the candidates are trying to talk about the actual issues and the moderators keep asking them about "silly politics" and trying to start arguments. Why can't we have a debate where the real issues are addressed and not this "he said – she said" nonsense that ALWAYS comes up; initiated by the people asking the questions.

A fine example of why her brand of politics is not only ineffective now, but also in November. Epic fail.

I thought Obama handled it well, treating it somewhat like children squabbling on the playground.
