Schneider: Clinton throws punch on plagiarism charge

AUSTIN, Texas (CNN) - "Change you can Xerox," Clinton just said. She is trying to continue making the plagiarism charge - that Obama lifted a portion of a speech from Massachusetts Gov. Deval Patrick - an issue. But that line seemed contrived to me.And Obama clearly enjoyed the plagiarism question, using it as an opportunity to portray the charge as an example of the "silliness" of Washington he is battling.Related: Watch Obama defend plagiarism charges

911pm EST Clinton just changed her tone and demeanor as she tried to get her Health Care licks in. Here's where she's going to take her "differentiation" stand.

He doesn't seem to be panicked by it.

He's not going to get down and dirty with her.

Didn't you hear: Obama just admit his medical health plan is 95% similar to Clinton's. Remember Clinton has been fighting for her plan long before Obama proposed his so called plan. Is he playing plagiarism?

It sure is a season of silly politics! and Hillary is very desperate. This is the height of hypocrisy, because Hillary indeed can not say that she has not used other people's words in this campaign. Especially that of Barack Obama.

Obama got my vote on this one. He's right the plagiarism is about as silly as this McCain mess.

Hello Hilary!! I think that Jorge's question was about being the commander in chief, not health insurance?

The plagiarism issue is a joke. Clinton is old politics, trying to bagger your opponent, Obama is not about that. This is about the democratic party bringing change. Only Unity and sitting down to discuss a common goal will bring change to this country.

Yeah, but Clinton had a good return in saying - and I'm paraphrasing - if you want words to be important, they should be your own.

Low blow...the crowd certainly didn't like it and neither did I. She is limiting herself by taking cheap shots. Some people like that, but how do you get to know the candidates and the difference. Obama didn't fall for it, he stuck to the question and the issues, and most importantly the difference he and her have on health care. Score one again for Obama.

I agree that we need to get to the issues. Not silliness.

Wow - Clinton supporters are really playing the politics as usual right here on this blog. Harsh.

I thought when Hillary saw this was not working last week, she would drop it, but she did not. It made her look bad, especially when Gov. Deval Patrick works for & contributes to Obama's campaign.

Look up the definition of Plagiarism.

That's what Obama did. Using someone else's words without crediting them and taking them as one's own.

CNN is blowing it they are allowing Obama to set the tone and time of tthe debate- time to turn it off. Moderators are not moderating him.

Look up the speech he copied..almost to the raising of voice, and hand motions. It was not just the words, but the fact that he uses Obama Drama. Look it up on U-tube.

I am quite surprised to continue to hear Sen. Clinton continue to tear down President George Bush and his administration. She needs to better understand, he is not running. What makes her different from Sen. Obama, not President Bush.
    Thank you.

Bill you are obviously voting for Obama....why do they keep asking Hilary the questions first and letting Obama wrap up every question.

Senator Clinton is right...Senator Clinton is right....Senator Clinton has all the answers and I give great speeches.

Clinton is coming off as trite, shrill and hollowly vindictive.......traits she has been trying to shake the entire campaign without success. Her performance here is a microcosm of why she has been beaten like a rented mule in all of the past several primaries.
