Schneider: Clinton throws punch on plagiarism charge

AUSTIN, Texas (CNN) - "Change you can Xerox," Clinton just said. She is trying to continue making the plagiarism charge - that Obama lifted a portion of a speech from Massachusetts Gov. Deval Patrick - an issue. But that line seemed contrived to me.And Obama clearly enjoyed the plagiarism question, using it as an opportunity to portray the charge as an example of the "silliness" of Washington he is battling.Related: Watch Obama defend plagiarism charges

How can Hillary talk about Obama using someone else's speech? Look at all the facts. She has used some of Obama's speeches to gain points. The speech she is questioning was not of his friend /supporter but more so from different famous people throughout history. Obama is right that focus on the issues instead of the same tired ol grade school name calling and smear campaign. If you cant take the heat then get out of the kitchen. She needs to up her game. But regardless of who is nominated. I still think overall they both (Democratic Party) needs to take back the country from Republicans.

HE CAN NEVER SHUT UP!!!!!!! Wah! Wah! Listen to me me me worship me.... I'm talking let me finish,, uh uh let me finish......

if he used someone's words he should have at least "credited" the author of the words. He didn't until he got caught. Not good. He may have been given the speech to use but he should used the authors name.

The media has spent more time on this silly plagiarism question than they ever did before the war in 2003. This is stupid. Let's talk about REAL THINGS.

This has nothing to do with who is the best presidential candidate. Obama offered a good explanation. Enough already! Weak attempt by Sen. Clinton to attack.

Yeah, I agree. Contrived. Hillary's getting testy.

Obama looks more presidential. Especially as Hillary gets nasty and negative.

She shouldn't have used the xerox line; clearly her people fed her
that line. But the follow up statements on the realities of governing were overdue.

Contrived or not. Well done Hills. She is brilliant. Obama will stir the people to vote, but then they must get real and vote for the real candidate. Clinton 08, Obama '12

Its too little too late. Clinton is cooked. She will not be the next President. By the way, do you really want Bill Clinton wandering around the White House with nothing to do??

Bill, she's kicking his butt on things we care about. And yeah a candidate for President shouldnt lift ANYTHING from another performed speech and present it as his own...
