Watch Richardson on The Situation Room Tuesday.

(CNN) — New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson Tuesday suggested he may endorse a former rival in the Democratic White House race sometime this week.

In an interview with CNN's Wolf Blitzer set to air at 6 p.m. hour of The Situation Room, Richardson praised both Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama, and suggested now might be the right time he publicly backs one of them.

"I may make a decision and do an endorsement," Richardson said.

Asked if the endorsement could come within the next couple of days, the New Mexico governor replied, "Possibly, yes."

Richardson, a former member of the Clinton administration, wouldn't hint at which candidate he was leaning towards, and said it's still possible he may make no endorsement.

"I'm just not trying to be cute. I just have felt that an endorsement by me, I don't think it is that significant," he said. "But I still might do it."

Both Clinton and Obama have heavily sought Richardson's backing since he dropped out of the race in January. Richardson, one of the highest ranking Hispanics in the Democratic Party, could give either candidate a boost in the Latino community ahead of Texas' primary on March 4. Latinos are expected to play a big role in that contest.

In the interview Tuesday, Richardson praised both candidates, and said the two are running a "classic race."

"Change versus experience," Richardson said of the race. "And obviously I ran on the experience mantle. It didn't work out too well. But I think they are both exceptional candidates, represent fundamental change. I think it is going to be very, very close. I don't think this race is over."

Watch the full interview with Richardson tonight on The Situation Room, 6 p.m. ET.

I hope he signs on with Senator Obama . He said it might not help but he still might do it. That sounds like an upcoming supporter for The Clintons.

Edwards is taking to long with his endorsement as well. He nor Richardson's endorsement will matter, are they holding out for V.P. I think not, there is someone better qualified, like Dodd, who had the guts to take a stand.

Why hasn't Hillary Clinton or any of the media asked Senator
Obama

"What is it that I and the other representavises in Congress
didn't know that you knew to cause you to vote against the war in Iraq;since the evidence presented to us albeit it turned out to be lies
and distortions would lead anyone concerned with our national security to support the President"

TOM   February 26th, 2008 5:42 pm ET

I hate the useless words that Barack Hussein Obama always says. I support Hillary.

Barack is a half-baked visionary.
His point is just the following:
"America needs change. I will change it! America needs hope! I have hope! I have hope and will change things! Change is what I am going to do! And with hope you can do anything! Like change things! Things that need to be changed! Like those things here in America that need to be changed! And I will change them! With hope things will change! Change starts here but it won't end here, for the future will be changed by our hope! Changed in a way that people will see that the change is better due to the hope we all possess here today. I know change, you know change, we will bring change to the White House with the help of your hope! Things will change!"

Hillary is a doer, not a talker.

THE OPINIONATOR   February 26th, 2008 5:41 pm ET

Gov. Richardson is a very intelligent guy and I think he senses that the media is starting to turn on Obama (as they always turn on the favorite…in sports, in politics, in entertainment..it's the churn factor..always got to have a new story, a new angle). Bill will endorse Hillary who will go on to win Texas and he will be championed as a visonary who saw the tide turning before anyone else.

js I have to agree with you, if a senator or representative is going to take a stand then they should do so, without worrying about their political agenda, but the real issues at stake., this country and its people.

Golden Chica   February 26th, 2008 5:40 pm ET

Mr. Richardson as a person who has been in politics as long as you have you know first hand that experience does matter and therefore your vote should be for Hillary Clinton. This country can't have a candidate who needs on the job training. There's too much at stake at this time to choose someone like Obama. Maybe in four or eight years Obama can try again. So Mr. Richardson do the country a favor and stop the Obama madness and hurry up and endorse Hillary Clinton.

I respect Richardson so much. I hope he will go for Obama to prove that Latinos can vote for blacks. Not only that, but also to prove that Obama is a better candidate. I can understand why some lantinos vote for Hillary because they think that clinton will fight for them when it comes to immigration issures. What an utter nonsense, even if she is going to be the next president. they should realize that she can not save them on immigration. Latinos should know that Obama will actually help them better than Clinton because his father got here from Africa, and he understand how important it is to chase American dream. I hope that Latinos in Texas an Ohio will try and change their minds, so they wont see their love ones send back to mexico. ….GO OBAMA

P.s… Richardson, please do the right thing and support Obama. HE will save this nation. mark my word.

For Bill Richardson to say that his endorsement " wouldn't be significant" and that is why he has waited, is playing the ultimate Washington insiders political game. Richardson knows Obama is going to be the nominee and has been holding out for a possible VP bid or significant cabinet position. Obama will need Richardson's help to secure the Latino vote, many who are Republicans for some ungodly reason and Richardson can deliver the Latino vote in the general election. I seriously don't understand why anyone of color would be a Republican as I can't find any legislation that shows the Republicans have supported Latinos or African Americans or for that matter Asians. Oh well, Richardson is a good diplomat, with a good sense of humor who has been able to work with Republicans. He would help Obama win the presidency by delivering the Latino vote.

An Obama/Richardson ticket wouldn't be bad for ALL Americans. Wonder what the odds are in Las Vegas for Richardson to be on the ticket with Obama?

Serge in Miami,FL   February 26th, 2008 5:28 pm ET

Too much speculation from all these comments. Too much Obama this and Hillary that… so much posturing and threats of voting one way or another if your idealized candidate doesn't get nominated. Why don't you all shut up and let your votes do the talking for you?

Sig, Los Angeles CA   February 26th, 2008 5:27 pm ET

Richardson can jump on board the Titanic, err I mean Hillary's campaign. All kidding aside Clinton's recent attacks to stifle Obama are getting real old, real fast. Her negative politicking is too reminiscent of Dubya's style back in 2000 & 2004. Enough of silly season already, as Obama eloquently put it.

Avoid the drama, vote Obama!

Jenny, Rio Vista, CA   February 26th, 2008 5:26 pm ET

Edgardo, if you want a politician that you can trust, then surely you should vote for Senator Obama. Why would you trust Hilary? She was for NAFTA before she was against it. She voted for the war and now she is against it. Five days ago she was proud to sit next to Obama and now she is ashamed of him.

Which Hilary do you trust. Doctor Hilary or Mrs Clinton.

The anti Obama sentiments is crazy. Obama is no ameteur and he stands to actually change the country. The same thing Ron Paul, Nader, and to some extent McCain want to do. Hillary is MORE OF THE SAME! This country is in dire need of a change in policy, all policies. McCain or Obama, anyone is better than W and the pork barell establishment.

Congress needs to get to work, fire them all.

Maybe he hasn't been asked to consider VP or a cushy cabinet job yet and is waiting to see which way the wind blows? I don't see how his endorsement matters one way or the other. Now, Sen Kennedy is another matter. I immediately lose a ton of respect for anyone endorsed by him. Sen Dodd is just following orders from Kennedy. I'm voting for Ron Paul even if I have to write in his name. There is no one else, still in the race, I would give a second thought to of either party. No more of the Clinton/Bush dynasty. Is the best the Republicans and Democrats could come up with? The best of the bunch has already been eliminated. What a shame for America. Surely we have many who would be great candidates in this country of 300,000,000 people.

Abner from Sacramento   February 26th, 2008 5:14 pm ET

Let us face it. A guy so far to the left, with the intentions that Obama has, will NOT HAVE A CHANCE at ever winning the presidency. At least, for the return of the democrats to the presidency, let us give Hillary a change. Obama has NONE whatsoever. Otherwise, it looks like we are headed for the 100 years war with McCain as president. If Obama runs against him he will be obliterated. All McCain has to do is:
First, replay the “in my adult life, I have never been proud to be an American” statements from his wife – - totally inappropriate at this time of war, or his refusal to do anything that is patriotic, like endorsing the flag. (Americans HATE that – - no explanations are necessary).
Second, have a message of Bin Laden making threats to Americans, and BINGO, McCain wins by a landslide. Change that, support Hillary for President.

Did Gov Richardson watch the Super Bowl with Bill Clinton? Hmmm…

E Fabian   February 26th, 2008 5:14 pm ET

I couldn't care less who he endorses.

Funny how Hillary has been recently endoresed by actor Sean Astin, General Wesley Clark, Lt. General Joe Ballard, Major General Antonio M. Taguba, Rear Admiral David Stone, Brigadier General John M. Watkins, Jr., former Secretary of the Army Togo West as well as 27 Flag officers. She has also been recently endorsed by a dozen Cleveland area officials and community leaders. Not to mention that The Akron Beacon Journal, The Laredo Morning Times and The Daily Texan have all endorsed her this week yet none of this is reported while the majority, if not ALL of Obama the Semi-devine's endorsements make the front page and headlines.

Pretty ridiculous and yes, I know CNN, you will delete this post like the gazillion of my other pro-Hillary posts. Truly sad but cheers anyways.

AJ:

In case you have not noticed, the Clintons have already turned their backs against Black People. Ever since she lost South Carolina she has ignored Black People in most of her advertising and campaigning. True her campaign manager is Black but she has focused on winning the Latino vote and has almost made this a black vs. Brown contest. She needs to be very careful. If she does win the nomination, she will have to mend a lot of fences with Black People who may not come out in such numbers to support her based upon her alleged treatment of Obama and her ignoring them in favor of Latinos. She needs Black AND Brown to come out in huge numbers for her to win in November.

I was with Hillary till South Carolina now if she gets the nod, I'll do something that I have never done in my adult life. I'll vote Republican for President.

Byron in CA   February 26th, 2008 5:00 pm ET

I find it curious that most on here that are for a Democrat don't consider Nader, Obama or Clinton as the change they're talking about ingeneral. Republicans are the ones that have been the problem to them. Any change from the Republicans is a dramatic change. Have democrats gotten so use to baging on the Republicans and equated that to the goverment that they've forgotten exactly what it is they are trying to change. The idea that Obama is the only one that can deliver them from that change, (though he too would be a change, to what extent has to be yet determined) to me anyway seems to belittle the people like Kerry, Kennedy, and Dodd that support him now. Why do those endorsements seem contrary to his campaign of change? What is that change he talks about? Both sides of the isle and the candidates have answers to those questions, but how and when will that effect the country and your lives? Will we really be out of Iraq if Obama is elected, or will the main troops just be replaced by someone else that cost us even more of our tax dollars? Will we get Universal Health care with Obama or will it get stalled in the Senate or in Congress? Will the change come as excuses or will the change come and it wasn't really wasn't what we asked for? I can't help but ask these questions becasue it's the process I go thru before I can cast a vote. I hope all the voters go to atleast that much troble, and not listen to sound bites or negative campaigns since all that is to distract us from what we're really asking.

Too Bad   February 26th, 2008 4:57 pm ET

It's too bad the many of the posts on this page are rabidly promoting either Obama or Hillary. That is not the war! It is only a small battle that leads up to THE WAR–winning the presidency back from the Republicans.

Yes, the outcome of this battle will affect the outcome of the WAR. And Democrates will lose it for sure if they become divided and bent on having their favorite candidate–to the point that they bolt or not vote if they don't get their way

I'm voting for a more shared spirit!

Raymond Ito   February 26th, 2008 4:56 pm ET

Gov. Richardson has had the time to grow his beard, and take a retrospective look at what's atually happening. His resume is fully loaded with the most admirable experiences but somehow it was a tough sell for him – he dropped out of the race.

The American image both home and abroad strongly needs to be revamped. It needs to be lifted up or it will cascade into a level of irrelevance. The truth is not that Obama is too loftty in his rhetorics but that he understands the inner yearnings of the ordinary American who wants to reclaim the respect America once possessed – a connection to the higher ideal that can motivate you to solve insurmountable problems. A belief in America again – that's what Obama is offering.

Hillary, and pro-hill moderator asked hill about her comment that Obama plagiarized some words of Deval Patrick who told Obama to use this particular line.

Hill has BORROWED throughout this campaign, without acknowledgment Obama's own lines, her slogans change daily: experience, change, solutions…..all with no substance….she might as well butcher spanish like bush to pander to hispanics….and then ignore hispanic concerns like bush….

She copies her own philandering impeached husband Bill:

Hillary: "You know, the hits I've taken in life are nothing compared to what goes on every single day in the lives of people across our country"—eerily similar to:

Bill Clinton in 1992 declared that: "The hits that I took in this election are nothing compared to the hits the people of this state and this country have been taking for a long time."

Hill "borrowed" verbatim NY Gov. Spitzer's "on day one" campaign slogan….

Her unaffordable health care is borrowed exactly from 1993 when Bill floated it and it failed…..when there was a budget surplus!!!

yeah, media are SO unfair to hill….ha….what a shameful hypocrite she is…..and saying whoever does not vote for her is delusional….SHE would know about deluding people….

I respect Hillary too, but it's time that she drops out, and brings the party together & support Obama. All americans need change, our world is changing everyday, we cannot live in the politics of the past. We need someone new, a vibrant face, that will bring people together irrespective skin color, religion or ethnic background. That's how a president should be. Obama is the best. So, Gov. His last comment "This race is not over" should clue you in: He's supporting Hillary. It makes sense: his state chose her. However, palying the race card here should be behind us. To argue that Richardson should support Clinton because of his ethnicity is silly. With that said, it's going to be Clinton.

Decision time. Heads Hillary, Tails Obama, Heads Hillary, Tails Obama. or Einee minne miny moe. Word of Advice from this Chicano Advocate. Stay out of this choice. You can't win no matter which way you.

Charles   February 26th, 2008 4:43 pm ET

I don't know why New Mexico and Gov. Richardson are so worried about Hillary Clinton. YOU ARE A SMALL STATE. Haven't you heard about her love for the BIG populated STATES. Obama has embraced us all regardlees of a Big or SMALL state status. If the honorable Gov. Richardson doesn't endorse Hillary, her spin doctors will say that was nothing anyway and marginalize his thoughtful endorsement. WAKE UP New Mexico, Hillary is now saying "YES WE CAN" every chance she gets. GO OBAMA!

Eric, Elk Grove, Ca   February 26th, 2008 4:42 pm ET

He worked in BC's administration and watched the one best superbowl games ever. Not endorsing anyone is endorsing Obama. Sorry HC!

Missy   February 26th, 2008 4:39 pm ET

Is anyone else starting to feel disenfranchised with the Dem Party? Maybe Lou Dobbs is right:

Caucuses are a joke and definitely don't speak for the majority of Dem voters; Primaries and Caucuses for the Dem Candidate should be decided by Dems WHO ARE 18 YEARS OR OLDER; The rules should be the same nation-wide, not state-by-state since this is a NATIONAL election. All states should hold these primaries on the same date for an entire day; all states votes should count…. how on Earth under any "rule" can you not count the votes of 2 states? The madness goes on and on and on.

There has to be a better way than the free-for-all we've experienced this election cycle.

ojah_w   February 26th, 2008 4:39 pm ET

the same people who complain that all of the black people vote for obama are the same ones saying that richardson should endorse hillary because the latinos "do". smacks of hypocrisy to me.

Independent from Fort Worth, Tx   February 26th, 2008 4:39 pm ET

You all are getting kind of ugly. I hope he does endorse Obama. They would make a good team. Let's face it, Hillary is losing in the Lone Star State. I don't see that changing even if Richardson endorses Hillary.

Hillary really shouldn't have done her little scolding routine or the mockery heavenly routine. We Texas voters can figure this out for ourselves pretty well.

By now, we are very informed and have had a chance to evaluate the candidates personalities and character. It's been trickey with there being so many personalities and such little character coming from Hillary. But I think we have just about got this figured out.

fergie   February 26th, 2008 4:37 pm ET

I really like Richardson. He is a decent and smart person.

I REALLY HOPE HE supports EXPERIENCE AND ENDORSES HILLARY. I thought what was QUOTED ABOVE HINTED THAT HE WOULD ENDORSE HER!! Down the road I would love him to be Hillary's vice president. They would make an amazing team!!
It would be cool to vote in a woman president and a latino vice prez!!

I believe he really likes the Clintons and will support her. I think he believes in the Clintons and respects how much they have supported Hispanics.

Hillary – Richardson '08

JB   February 26th, 2008 4:34 pm ET

Bill,

No need to endorse either one of them! Just stay away, it is over!

Sasha   February 26th, 2008 4:34 pm ET

NM Latinos went for Obama!!

Ramona/Nashvegas   February 26th, 2008 4:34 pm ET

I hate it that Richardson is having to endorse either of them. He should have been the Democratic nominee. He shined in the debates, and I don't know him personally but something tells me he is a gem of a person.
He has foreign policy experience and had great ideas for our country.
I don't understand it, but nobody asked me.

Obama always speaks of HRC's vote on the Iraqi war- he says you cannot afford that chance again. How about is dealing with Rezko-Bad Judgement? We cannot afford to have that in the White House

CR   February 26th, 2008 4:22 pm ET

Richardson will endorse Hillary. And she may run with him as vice.

Rose - Baltimore, MD   February 26th, 2008 4:22 pm ET

If you read what he's said you'll know that he is endorsing Obama.
Obama 08!

ynw   February 26th, 2008 4:21 pm ET

His endorsement wont' mean anything to the voters who should make their judgment on who is the most qualified nominee.

john williams san diego, ca.   February 26th, 2008 4:14 pm ET

richardson was a big loser in bubbas cabinet so he'll probably endorse another loser in Hillary for the hope of hitting the trifecta to be a bigger loser in the hillbilly cabinet

SS   February 26th, 2008 4:11 pm ET

I think Richardson will not go with the CNN & MSNBC propaganda that Obama is the "Son Of God"

Julie   February 26th, 2008 4:09 pm ET

It is obvious that Richardson will be endorsing Hillary. There is no other reason for him to endorse now–Obama has all the momemtum and it will take a Richardson jolt to rescue Hillary.

Raquel   February 26th, 2008 4:08 pm ET

I hope Richardson endorses Obama even if the Clintons feel he owes them. Obama will be the next President of the United States! Si se puede!!

Frank   February 26th, 2008 4:07 pm ET

Why do Clinton supporters think they're going to sway anyone by threatening to vote for McCain? Vote for who you think would be the best president. The general election polls show that you are in the minority. Obama does far better than Clinton against McCain. You're not fooling anybody and nobody cares. Vote for who you think would be the president. If more people think that's Obama, then so be it.

Christine   February 26th, 2008 4:07 pm ET

Bil,L PLEASE ENDORSE HILLARY, SHE IS THE EXPERIENCE AND CHANGE.

Clinton 08   February 26th, 2008 4:06 pm ET

Obama will not win many Demo supporters who may never voted for Republican in their life but may be this time if it's Obama

Ellen 4 Prez   February 26th, 2008 4:03 pm ET

Guillermo Ricardo is just trying to keep his name before the public. No way he's gonna endorse one candidate and risk choosing the wrong one–he desperately wants to be VP.

Al 4 Obama   February 26th, 2008 4:00 pm ET

Richardson has always come to Hill's defense. If he endorses Obama its just for political gain. He thought (like everyone else), that HRC had the race in the bag. What experience does she have? Her health care plan failed before she voted for the war, she approved of NAFTA. If she is the nominee the war will be off the table for the election. The country is ready for something totally different. Although she is a woman she still represents the same politics as usual. Her behavior lately proves that.

Martin   February 26th, 2008 4:00 pm ET

I love this! When Gov. Richardson was a candidate, no-one voted for him or supported him. Why should, magically, we now pay attention to who he says we should all vote for? The same could be said to apply to Dodd.

Chelsea   February 26th, 2008 3:59 pm ET

blah, blah, blah, blah….this is all harble-garble-swarfel at its finest…….i peronally think everyone except the candidates should keep their mouths closed til this is over…………including the bloggers……the insults have gotten ridiculous

Justin, Grand Junction, CO   February 26th, 2008 3:58 pm ET

Hillary's experience has led to one of the most mis-managed campaigns in history. According to spending records, in JANUARY ALONE the Clinton camp spent $11,000 on pizza, $1,200 on Dunkin Donuts, and $95,384 at a Des Moines Hy-Vee grocery store for get-out-the-vote sandwich platters. If I donated money to this campaign and saw this ridiculous spending I would be irrate!

Good thing she's experienced though….

john ry   February 26th, 2008 3:57 pm ET

he's gonna endorse Clinton. That last part tells it all

Casey   February 26th, 2008 3:57 pm ET

If he is going endorse, it should be Clinton. However, I wouldn't be surprised if he endorsed Obama if he's interested in political appointments.

Hillary should congratulate Obama after Tuesday's election, and step aside to work on uniting the democratic party (and I am a Clinton supporter, but reality needs to be the basis of decision, and the reality is Obama is going to win).

Reg Welsh   February 26th, 2008 3:57 pm ET

my motto this week is ……."Don't come back a cryin if Barack Can't produce"….I think experience is a most…..looking at some serious research there must be an American Indian to run for the presidency, we took away there land and livelihood and lets us immigrants come in this country and accomplish our dream……

Support Obama   February 26th, 2008 3:56 pm ET

I find it very disturbing that people who say they are either Clinton or Obama supporters will vote republican if their candidate does not win the democratic nomination. What is wrong with you? Is that supposed to be a threat? Do you want another Goerge Bush clone in the white house(John McCain) and suffer through another 4 years of what we've been going through? Please think before you say things like this… the republicans are laughing all the way to the election as we tear ourselves apart. This isn't a popularity contest, grow up. With that said, I am an Obama supporter but if he doesn't get the nomination, I will support whomever does against the republicants.

June (California Voter)   February 26th, 2008 3:56 pm ET

If he doesn't vote for experience he'll be voting against everything he has been saying when he was running.

Ennis, LA   February 26th, 2008 3:55 pm ET

Bill knows Latinos dislike Obama. He also must position himself
for a possible VP slot on the ticket. Then he must coddle Latinos
for another possible run in 2012. All things considered…look for
Bill's arrival in Texas to join Hillary – - and I don't mean that other
Bill.

HILLARY 08   February 26th, 2008 3:55 pm ET

I will feel safer if CLinton was in the White House. She would be a true leader. Obama fans, can you just look at him without eating?

js   February 26th, 2008 3:54 pm ET

We have to respect senators like Dodd who actually take a stand about their beliefs and demand real change, not just a seat at the table…or share of the political pie and who don't care about Americans, or those such as Clintons and Bushes who just care about their respective dynasties and not the real issues facing all of us……

Obama '08

Edgardo-Latino in LA   February 26th, 2008 3:53 pm ET

I will never entrust my future and my kid's future to an amateur politician. I want a trusted politician who can deliver solutions to this mess that we are in right now! This is the reason why Richardson should endorse HILLARY! No more, no less

Michael   February 26th, 2008 3:53 pm ET

Who cares who he is endorsing…now it seems like everyone and anyone is just jockeying to say, "Hey, I supported you." He should have endorsed someone earlier…

To Jessica,

It is so amazing and so good to hear a Clinton supporter not say nasty things about Obama. You are right, we are ONE party and we will need to remain that way to keep a third Bush term (McCain) from happening! I hope Americans are smarter than they were in 2000 and 2004!

Just say NO to "100 years" of war in Iraq!!!

OBAMA/EDWARDS '08

P.S.- Did anyone catch that interview with Texas Monthly and how Hillary basically is saying if she doesn't win Texas, it's okay because they will not vote Democrat in Nov anyway???

hyacenth   February 26th, 2008 3:53 pm ET

Hell has no fury like a woman's scorn. The question of the day is this: To be or not to be. Is Hillary Clinton more "woman" than a "president"?

aware   February 26th, 2008 3:53 pm ET

No rush Bill! Wait and see if the Barack myth the media has created knocks out Hillary. Barack is no prophet but he promises what only God can accomplish.

I thought the task of super delegates was to safeguard America from a meldown that is, in this case, rapidly reaching cult status?

If Barack is the nominee,The Dems will go down again. The Republicans will rip the bark off Barack and John McCain will be the next president.

If not Hillary 08 then McCain 08 :)

jw, canadian,ok   February 26th, 2008 3:52 pm ET

Texas 4 HILLARY   February 26th, 2008 3:52 pm ET

mary   February 26th, 2008 3:52 pm ET

It dose not matter who Edwars or Richardson endorse
Like Dodd he should of none all of this long ago.
Endoresment do not matter did Opera help Obama
maybe in south Caroline where the population have more Black voters. thats why he won when you see 96% of Black voters vote for him 4% for Hillery what dose that tell you. the Clintnos have done
more for the Black people then Obama will ever do he has onley
a point t prove as black person can be president and that is all
he cares about. He will never do anything to get us out of this mess
except raise taxes of working people. Dose it his friend the slum lord
have his trail comming up this week. Any way waite for the debates tonight then make up your mind who is best to be president.

Bela   February 26th, 2008 3:52 pm ET

I for one love Bill Clinton…ask my husband. On day one, I waited to hear that Hillary was running for president…not because I would support her but because I knew she would. This Clinton family s very ambitious. They seek firsts…and Hillary has accomplished a lot of firsts…but being the first woman president is simply not oing to be one of them. If she would have endorsed Gore or Kerry for that matter when they were running fot the job of POTUS, I would have looked differently upon her. Now that she wants the support of the party leaders, she is suprised that they are reluctant to stick their necks out for a candidate that is only out for herself and her family…Give up Hillary. You have an appointment waiting. You have a date with defeat, and it is March 5th, 2008. Sorry Hillary fans it is time to read the writing on the wall!
Go Barack 08

Steph   February 26th, 2008 3:52 pm ET

WHY?!?!?!?!?

HOW IS THIS DIFFERENT FROM USING SUPERDELEGATES TO GARNER SUPPORT???????????????

DON'T PEOPLE HAVE THEIR OWN MINDS?????

All I have to say is hopefully it is for Obama. We saw how the Kennedy's helped bolster his vote in MA and CA….

Jimmy Zoe   February 26th, 2008 3:51 pm ET

June,

Please get your facts straight. It is not 150 delegate lead. It is fewer than 100 (and that excludes Florida and Michigan — they ought to be happy about their being disenfranchised when the General Election rolls around).

Also, please review your civics book from junior high school. The margin in delegates between Obama and Clinton is razor thin when, in a primary, one needs 2,000+ delegates to be declared the nominee. Considering that your candidate is woefully short of that and will miss that mark regardless, it may be prudent to reign in your comments a bit. If less than 100 delegates is SO MUCH than how would you characterize being close to 1,000 delegates of the required number?

The fact of the matter is that this is a very close race. The results are further muddied — and, frankly, misleading — because the bulk of Obama's wins thus far have been cobbled together from smaller red states (that, I might add, typically go Republican in a general election). While this may be an interesting strategy in a primary, it doesn't tell us anything about the likely outcome of a general election. Even mainstream media (part of the Obama choir) has recently begun to pick up on this.

Finally, please remember that 8.5 million people have voted for Clinton so far. So perhaps before you dismiss all of us as irrelevant, you may want to act a little more in accord with the sort of "unity" that Obama has been preaching. Otherwise, many of those 8.5 million could drift over to McCain (I for one) and the Democrats may end up losing the White House yet again.

joel   February 26th, 2008 3:51 pm ET

BILL RICHARDSON'S ENDORSEMENT FOR EITHER CLINTON OR OBAMA WILL MAKE A HUGE DIFFERENCE IN THE NOMINATION
PROCESS. HE IS A WELL KNOWN DIPLOMAT , A DEMOCRAT AND VERY WELL LIKED EVEN BY REPUBLICANS.
hIS ENDORESEMENT MAY WELL TIP THE NOMINATION TO WHOMEVER HE ENDORSES.
i JUST HOPE HE ENDORSES THE CANDIDATE WITH "EXPERIENCE" AND THAT IS NONE OTHER THAN HILLARY
RODHAM CLINTON . IT'S UP TO YOU BILL RICHARDSON.

Endorser   February 26th, 2008 3:51 pm ET

How can Bill NOT endorse Hillary? The Richardsons and the Clintons are practically fanily. Fo him to endorse Obama would be stab in the back….Et Tu Brut?!?

I hope he does endorse Billary and lets tighten up this race for the final knife fight!!!

Obama 2008

JustinA   February 26th, 2008 3:51 pm ET

I doubt he'll endorse Clinton. I was suprised he didn't come out and endorse Hillary after spending super bowl weekend with Bill.

AK   February 26th, 2008 3:49 pm ET

I actually liked both Obama and Clinton at one time, but with all the anti-Hillary stuff from the media and some very rude and mean comments from Obama supporters, it has turned me off to him. If he is our nominee, I can't say at this time that I will vote for him come November. People need to stop all this back and forth bickering and realize that they are turning off voters that support the other candidate. For the democrats to win in November, we will need both Obama and Clinton supporters behind whomever the nominee may be!

Kab   February 26th, 2008 3:49 pm ET

Common..you too know "change" is needed than "experience"…Follow your heart and endorse Obama…you wont repent

John   February 26th, 2008 3:49 pm ET

Govenor Richardson the Clinton campaign is out of money, out of toutch, out of luck and out of it's collective mind with desperation. There is only one way to go in this campaign and that is with Obama if the Democratic party wants to hold onto all those young voters.

LC   February 26th, 2008 3:49 pm ET

If Richardson has any intellect, he would endorse Obama, the candidate that will unite America. Hillary is running just for her legacy, while Obama is running for the interests of the people in the US. It's true that Mr. Richardson has ties with the Clintons, but it's also true that he knows all of the political baggage that they carry.

Richardson would best serve his state's interest by endorsing Hillary Clinton. Obama's lack of experience will drive our economy into a deeper hole, and that would especially affect a disproportionate percentage of hispanics and african-americans. Hillary's the best prepared to move our country in the right direction and make change for the better.

SLO Bear   February 26th, 2008 3:47 pm ET

WHY?

HOW MANY RETRACTIONS HAS HE HAD IN THE LAST WEEK?

HOW MANY RETRACTIONS HAS BUSH HAD IN HIS WHOLE LIFE TIME?

ENOUGH SAID.

Richardson's endorsement will have a decent impact with older Texas Latinos who are still undecided….

Young Latinos (and younger people in general) don't care about an endorsement unless it comes from a pop star…

Younger Latinos will either vote the way their parents do, which would favor Clinton, or they'll vote the way their friends do, which would favor Obama

Gavin   February 26th, 2008 3:46 pm ET

Bill Richardson KNOWS that Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton is the most practical and strongest choice for the DEMS….

He was there, first-hand, in the trenches, and has seen what the Republicans will do for power—and they will not spare barack obama just because he's talking about Hope. The GOP spares no-one.

That's why I'm hoping and betting that Richardson will endorse Senator Clinton because of the strenght, resilience, and platform that she has.!

Hillary Clinton all the way !!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!

nick   February 26th, 2008 3:46 pm ET

Bill go to hell with Hillary. I am mad as hell to see that you are waiting to see which one will go forth. It just goes to show that you are not qualified to be VP. You suck. Gutless.

Rlee   February 26th, 2008 3:46 pm ET

I think he's already chosen who….HRC…he ended his comment with this race is not over……

I personally choose Obama! Obama! Obama!

whether or not he's endorsed…he's chosen by God…..American's have suffered long enough with the same….

And if Hillary claims experience…where is it…her whole campaign has been on her husbands record….the only one true is his unfairness to her and his uncommitment to her personally……that's how she's played this campaign….cheatin

Aleks   February 26th, 2008 3:46 pm ET

Guys dont be so racist in your comments. This is the interest of a nation not the interest of a person.
Wether he endorse or not Obama or Clinton, you need to show that you are mature in your reflexion in order to help undecided to make the right choice.

Richardson, son choice is not late but make the right choice to help undecided to be concerned by this race.

Vive America!

LATINO SERVICE MEMBERS FOR HILLARY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WE LOVE YOU!!!!!!

Bonnie   February 26th, 2008 3:45 pm ET

Richardson is someone with experience yet couldn't mount an effective campaign. I think he would be an excellent candidate for VP with Hillary Clinton unless, of course he bails and goes over to Obama. Then he will get nothing. He can keep his job as governor.

Brando   February 26th, 2008 3:44 pm ET

Barack NEEDS to pick Edwards as his VP. Neither Biden (status quo) or Richardson (minority) are gonna have his back in the General Election. MARK. MY. WORDS. Without John, you CAN'T get 270. Again, it's ALL about the Electoral College, stupid.
PS: Have a great debate tonight. Don't stutter, don't contradict yourself and please, please…SEE. IT. COMING i.e DON'T TAKE THE BAIT. This nomination's yours for the taking.

Georgie   February 26th, 2008 3:44 pm ET

I Like Richardson . A Clinton Richardson ticket would be just as good as Clinton Edwards. I'll take either one. But Obama no way, I'd vote McCain befor Obama.

Steve   February 26th, 2008 3:44 pm ET

This is just what the Hillary camp was waiting for. He will support Hillary Clinton, who has much closer ties to the Hispanic community than Obama. Although I think some are overestimating his influence, he could push the Clinton campaign just far enough ahead of Obama to make things really interesting over the next couple of months…if he endorses her before March 4th…and ladies and gentlemen thats a big IF.

Michael   February 26th, 2008 3:44 pm ET

interesting that hillary supporters like to use obama's middle name, as if ignorance might scare off potential voters–that's a dirty right-wing tactic. i like hillary less every day because of the "do anything to win" mentality of her supporters.

tomdavie   February 26th, 2008 3:43 pm ET

Nobody cares if Obama will make the country worse. Even though we see clearly he STUMBLES without his teleprompter and goofs up due to inexperience.

He has had a TEFLON shield on, and voters would vote in Forrest Gump just to SPITE anyone who has been in washington before.

Since media hype and voter malcontent are the determining factor, what difference is it going to make.

All you Obama fans better get ready to BACKPEDDLE off you Guru when you see what a fool he really is. I just hope he doesnt start some kind of nuclear war.

Chica Guapa   February 26th, 2008 3:42 pm ET

Si quieres continuar con tu carrera politica vota por Hillary.

Bill, your platform on experience DID work, this is why people wants you to endorse obama, because he has none. What didn't work was the fact that you don't have a lot of followers. Endorse Hillary.

CNN moderator, please allow me to have my say. Stop cutting me off.

Beverly Leslie   February 26th, 2008 3:42 pm ET

Wow that "independent Californian" is scary. Sounding very cult like.
I've always considered myself a liberal, however after watching this election I have found the only difference between each side is ideology.

If you would speak out against the war it was the conservatives who would threaten you and call you a traitor. If you speak out against Obama it is the liberals who attack, spewing the worst type of vile and threats. Just ask Tavis Smiley. I believe his family was threatened because he disagreed with Obama.

Obama is the democratic version of George W. Bush. Just listen to him speak and his real lack of understanding on the issues. I will not condone this type of behavior with my vote.

I think I will consider leaving this country after this fiasco.

Jimmy P - Chicago   February 26th, 2008 3:42 pm ET

What a loser, typical Democrat all full of himself.

SE   February 26th, 2008 3:41 pm ET

Would it be a surprise to anyone if he through his support towards Billary? Every television appearance he has had since dropping out of the race has been a subtle support of the Billary campaign. …the true surprise would be if he supported Obama!

Hang in there Barack; the best victories are when all odds are against you! Obama 08!!!

MD2   February 26th, 2008 3:41 pm ET

John – looks like fuzzy math to me

VC, MD   February 26th, 2008 3:41 pm ET

I think he can go either way. But if he wants his endorsement to have any significance, he should decide before March 4th otherwise it will be useless. On another note, I guess most people still take him to be a Clinton supporter. Thus if he endorses Clinton, it won't make much difference. He can make a little impact if he endorses Obama. That should help resolve this race faster.

Bouba   February 26th, 2008 3:40 pm ET

Bill…….if you want to do something, do it now. Do you want the candidate to throw tehmselves at your feet? Remember you lost everywhere, so stop trying to be a pretty boy and make a decision. That is what a leader does, therefore if you are one do it.

A.P. Fox   February 26th, 2008 3:39 pm ET

Everyone stop with childish talk! If you are a Democrat vote your parties candidate. If you are wishy washy you are not a Democrat anyway. If you do not like your candidate, just know that a vote for Nader or for no candidate would only give us 4 more years of Bush like leadership. Everyone stop with the threats! We are not a country of voting demographics (thats for the media) who should be affended by who endorses who. We are a country of Americans who need leadership that makes sense and understands WE THE PEOPLE have the power in this country. Clinton quit crying and playing dirty tricks! Obama speak only the facts! Get behind our next President (Obama) and if someone wants to keep you from that, then they must really enjoy the mess we are in right now.

Liz   February 26th, 2008 3:37 pm ET

do you really want someone who's been endorsed by someone who is so biased against whites & Jews. Does Farakan see a soal mate in Obama?? Is this really what we want for our country at this time. Obama is dividing the party, everyone blames Clinton, when it is really Obama with his promises to the blacks that we will rise again speach. That's why they follow him, they see what he is really saying. Our country can not be the teaching ground right now, we're in too much trouble. We need experience. and you thought so too. don't follow the herd, if you are going to endorse someone, endorse Clinton well before the 4th when it will mean something. We realize why EDwards and maybe you too haven't endorsed someone, it's because you both probably have hopes of being asked to be VP. Watch out, it may be Jesse Jackson.

"I don't think this race is over."

I respect Bill Richardson's record and wish he would endorse Obama. However the statement above seems to indicate he will endorse HRC.

Darth Vadik, CA   February 26th, 2008 3:36 pm ET

He always wanted to endorse Hillary, but when he saw the tidle wave that is Obama, he held back.

The moment Richardosn knows that Obama will win Texas, he will endorse Obama.

He wants to be secretary of state, and he's a good choice too, although I don't like this tactical calculations.

ClintonFatigued   February 26th, 2008 3:35 pm ET

You sheep that are hammering him before he endorses anybody need to be reminded that he forgot more about running anything more than any of you.

Even across the aisle, I appreciate Richardson and the factual statement that he was a far superior candidtae for the Democratic party than either of the two left.

You want to talk experience or actual accomplishments Shrillary?

Your not in his LEAGUE.

I wish he would endorse McCain, the best Democrat left in the race.

Dee   February 26th, 2008 3:35 pm ET

If Richardson's plan was to endorse Hillary, he could have done it long time ago. You have to read what is written above people! He already hinted where is going to.

Farrell, Houston, Tx   February 26th, 2008 3:34 pm ET

I respect Bill Richardson and believe he would endorse Hillary Clinton. However, he recognizes Hillary's ship is sunk and his endorsement is not going to help her, but he can help himself and his state by endorsing Obama. That's where his endorsement will count for the good people of New Mexico.

brian b.   February 26th, 2008 3:34 pm ET

Hey Bill, show some true loyalty to the Clinton's. Show us that there really are things that matter more in the party. Things like honor and integrity!

Bela   February 26th, 2008 3:34 pm ET

Hillary every president has to win their election based on their record and not that of their spouse. When I choose a female president, she will talk about the experience she brings to the white house not that it takes a Clinton to clean up after a Bush becasue "we" dd it before…

Bill did it not Hillary. Someone needs to let her know that Gore was the Veep not Hillary. Obviously, supporting your husband in his career is what every woman can claim…including the surgeon's wife…can she then claim to be an experienced surgeon because of it? What is this war experience she is talking about? In my opinion, we need a president who will be ready on day one for the job of uniting the party, the country, and the world. That is certainly not a role that Hillary Rodham Clinton can claim to be effective in.
I pray peace for Hillary and Bill as they finally end this chapter of their lives and their quest for the white house…it really is almost time to move on…the writng really is on the wall… Go Barack 08

MN Woman   February 26th, 2008 3:34 pm ET

Governor – The smart choice would be Clinton. The easy way out is Obama. Obama people think the Clinton supporters will easiy slide over to Obama if he is the nominee, not true. We have a family business and I hear every day, without fail, so many Clinton supporters who will go McCain in November. The Repubicans will have the "Democrats for McCain" buttons ready – it will be a replay of McGovern vs Nixon. As for Florida and Michigan, why is the general electorate being punished? The ligislators and governors broke the rule. The people in these states elected these individuals in good faith, believing that they were competent, well informed and would know the rule and law of the day, they let their constituents down in a big way. If my party thinks for one minute that I will support a candidate that is representative of only 48 of these "50 UNITED STATES", they are sadly mistaken. I will vote Republican for the first time in my life.

Reality check   February 26th, 2008 3:32 pm ET

He will endorse Clinton. Clinton has the support of the Latinos and that is Richardsons main interest. Hillary has the Latinos interest at heart, Obama just wants their votes.

jessica   February 26th, 2008 3:32 pm ET

Bill please endorse Hillary Clinton – She is the best one for the job!!! Can we stop hating so much on the democratic candiates we should focus this energy on the Republicans not each other. With this division the Replicans will get the Whitel House in November not matter what Democratic Candidate wins.

I really hope Hillary will be our candiate but I do not hate Obama or say nasty things about him the way other Democrats state about Hillary – Remember WE ARE ONE PARTY!!!

Quoted from an earlier post

Change vs. experienced. I choose change because it offers more rewards.

Thank you Dave because there in a nutshell is the difference between the two groups of supporters! Some want the security of knowing what is coming and some want the hope of making things better.

Just a comment feel free to trash me as oft times before.

andrew jones   February 26th, 2008 3:31 pm ET

Bill is going to endorse Hillary, but it's of no relevance at this point.

He is only paying back his dues to the Billary's who have done him favors for years; it shows that he cares more about his personal interest than the interest of the democraty party or the change direction movement.

2 late Bill, but make the wise choice and Vote for Change!

I get the feeling that Hillary supporters have this notion that if they vote for Hillary somehow the prosperity of the 90's will return. Someone alert the internet & tech sector, and all the tech jobs created for Y2K bug fixing!

We're about to travel back in time! Call Dr. Emmit Brown, we need to borrow the Delorean

A vote for Hillary is not, I repeat NOT a return to the prosperity of the 90's. Now who's dreaming?

Do what you feel is right…You will not convince the majority of us that Hillary or McCain is the right person. A vote for McCain is another vote for Bush…and I would like to believe the American people are not dumb enough to have another Bush (McCain) in office!

P.S.- This election is not about what's "overdue" or "owed" to a particular gender or race, it's about change! You seem to lack the knowledge like many other Clinton supporters to know that. I wonder if you are even a Clinton supporter, your name suggests that you are a Republican that wants McCain to go against the weaker candidate (Hillary) and we are not buying into it, "my friend".

I'll say it again–you Obama supporters are so hateful, spiteful and arrogant! You definitely compliment your candidate well. Your immature attitude says a whole lot about the mentality of those that are voting for him. What a shame!

All this hateful attitude makes my stomach turn and convinces me daily that Obama is not the right person for the presidency. Therefore, he'll never get this Hispanic woman's vote. I will never be a part of such hatred of another human being. No wonder this country is in the state that it is. Change comes from within the heart–your candidate will never be able to do that. Listen to you and read what you write! Disgusting. I only wish the media would let the world know the kind of people who are supporting Obama.

Mark   February 26th, 2008 3:25 pm ET

Well, it better be Clinton. I am tried of the double talk that Super Delegates are obligated to follow "their" constituents, but then say "oh, no I need to go with the Country". You were elected by New Mexico people to reflect their views, therefore you must go to Hillary, even if she only won by 1%. I bet if you only win re-election by 1% you would take count it.

If Richardson has any loyalty at all, he will not turn his back on Hillary. It was President Bill Clinton who appointed him to the United Nations and as Energy Secretary, and perhaps in other jobs. Stand up like the person you should be, like the Governor of Ohio, who has praised Hillary and President Clinton for what they've done for this country and its people, and endorse Hillary and praise her publicly for her heart which is always with the American people.

ET   February 26th, 2008 3:22 pm ET

If Richardson is to represent his community–Hispanic community, he better support Clinton. Otherwise, he will be denounced by his own community.

Janet from NH   February 26th, 2008 3:22 pm ET

Hillary supporters…please don't speak for me. I am a woman and Hillary does not represent me. In fact, I do not appreciate how she has run her campaign. I don't appreciate her dishonesty. I don't appreciate her unethical behavior. I don't think she is the right woman to be the first woman President. I hope Governor Richardson is going to endorse Senator Obama to help save the Democratic Party from being destroyed by the Clintons' ambition.

Anonymous   February 26th, 2008 3:21 pm ET

'Sounds like Hillary with the "I don't think this race is over" line. The time to endorse HRC is within the next 2 days so the HRC campaign can get his butt over to Texas and turn out the Latino vote.

Richardson would be too conciliatory for Obama to pick him as a VP. Obama needs an attack dog i.e. Webb who can appeal to white men.

Ravi   February 26th, 2008 3:20 pm ET

If Bill Richardson has any courage, he will endorse Barack Obama. However, and in keeping with Clinton camp tactics, he has probably been pressed by the Clintons to strategically endorse Hillary Clinton days ahead of the Texas election where polls indicate she is trailing Obama.

The Clinton camp earlier attempted to counter Ted Kennedy's endorsement of Obama in a similar fashion – by releasing a statement of support for Hillary Clinton signed by a relatively unknown former Lieutenant Governor Kennedy. Unfortunately for Hillary Clinton, voters aren't proving as naive as her campaign would like them to be these days.

Indy   February 26th, 2008 3:20 pm ET

Obama won't get the endorsement.
Best Friends Forever are he and the Clintons
All know that Richardson and the Clintons are buddies
My guess is that Richardson will go with Clinton
Although the endorsement won't change much.
So I believe most Americans have the wool pulled over their eyes.
Nothing in what the Dems say is good for America.
Understand that we are not Europe but the Dems want us to be.
To many lousy policies and empty promises
So Bill Richardson please nndorse McCain!

I am supporting Sen. Obama, but am VERY concern about his safety. As I stated two months ago, the Clintons play dirty and don't lose that easily. This might play out like it did in forty years ago in 1968, along with happened to Robert Kennedy.

Sen. Obama is an inspiration to so many Americans. The Secret Service really needs to do an outstanding job protecting our next president. Again, I am ver concern!

I love it when Obama supporters start posting hateful and ridiculous, random comments based on no substance. It just makes me all the more determined to help the right candidate win – Hillary.

If you were really an Obama supporter and believed in what he preaches you would not be posting the crap, the hate, the junk that you are all over these boards. Yeah he might speak well but I have yet to see that translate into actions – especially when it comes to his blind supporters who seem to like to act and spread hate – yeah that is just what we need in the white house a president whose supporters will spread hate.
Why not prove me wrong?

Kareem from Hampton VA   February 26th, 2008 3:17 pm ET

Dont be so quick to think that he is going to just endorse Hillary because of the long time ties! Look at what The teamsters union did? I do feel that his reluctance is a telling sign that he's not gonna endorse Hillary! If he was wouldnt she need him now more than ever?

Mike   February 26th, 2008 3:16 pm ET

Bill,

If you can endorse Hillary and help bring home Texas, then we very well could see the first Woman + Hispanic ticket in the history of this great nation. Experience does matter. Coming from such an admired and experienced politician, that would be a powerful statement. If you can help GOTV for Hillary in Texas among men, that is a very powerful addition.

If you endorse Obama, on the other hand, I think you are selling out the idea that "experience counts" for something, and all the many years and all the hard work you have devoted to us. And, you are basically just going with the crowd, and placing your bet on an unknown who doesn't even need your help.

-Mike

Caleb   February 26th, 2008 3:16 pm ET

Dear Gov. Richardson,

I am appealing to you again. I'm crying out to you! Hillary needs your help! New Mexico was won by Hillary. She is loved more in your state than Obama. Hillary is more in keeping with your spirit. I think that you would make an excellent vice president as well. It's about time we had an hispanic as Vice President! You're a remarkable man and standing with Hillary will show America that you along with her will make America prosperous again. Just think of it. America has a women for president and a hispanic man for vice president! THIS IS GREAT!! THIS IS THE WINNING TICKET!

Please please do not endorse B. Obama. I think he's a nice guy but we need you and Hillary!

I wish I could speak with you on the phone about this but I'm aware that this is not possible. I can dream right!

Please give Hillary a call and share my emails to you with her!

With highest regards,
Caleb

I don't like either Billary or Obama, but if Clinton is as smart as her supporters claim, why hasn't she resurrected the line that Mondale used against Hart? "Where's the beef?" sums up everything there is to say about Obama. The man is a vacuum – surrounded with ear-tickiling hot air, but he has accomplished zero, zip, nada to qualify him to be chief executive of the most powerful, complex organization on the planet! Scary how far the MTV culture has pervaded the Democratic electorate – pure entertainment; no substance.

I for one am going to vote for Ron Paul. I hate big government, and McCain is a Liberal, who would have switched parties to run as John "swiftboat" Kerry's VP 4 years ago. Americans have such short memories..
Why Ron Paul, one may ask? Because he is the ONLY candidate with the courage to speak the truth about all the issues, ie, limited Government, ending US involvement in other nation's affairs, abolishing the IRS, just to name a few. He's the only true CONSTITUTIONAL CONSERVATIVE in the running.

Jules   February 26th, 2008 3:09 pm ET

Please show Senator Richardson some respect. This man is one of the finest diplomats we have ever seen. I am an Obama supporter, but I tell you, whoever gets his endorsement, it iwill not be not meaningless and he OR she should realize the great compliment it is and be grateful. Why are all the folks on these posts showing such incivility to eachother? We may have favored players, but we're all on the same team.

Look, no clinton dynasty, I just about have had it with the MADNESS. How dare anyone (you) suggest that Hillary should just bow out. Texas, Ohio, PA, and many other have not counted yet. Neither have Florida or Michigan. The 9.3 mio (or 10.2 mio if you count Florida) who have voted so far for HIllary are counting on her. They would be extremely disapointed if she pulled out, just because the Obama people and the media tell her to. Hang in there, Hillary, we appreciate it.

I'm really tired of the HRC supporters whining that if their candidate doesn't get the nomination, they're taking their ball and going home.

I've voted GOP every year since I was old enough to vote (Reagan in '80), and I'd really like to give the Dems a chance after the past 8 years. But you're making it very, very difficult.

You have a clear winner, and a clear loser. Support your winner.

McCain keeps looking better and better compared to this fiasco.

I can imagine the pressure Bill Clinton is putting on Richardson every day or even every hour. I can imagine what language Hillary will use to Richardson if he refuses to endorse her.

Now Chris Dodd told us it was uncomfortable to talk with the Clintons about not endorsing Hillary. But I am sure Dodd feels all comfortable now after rejecting their solicitation for endorsement.

Governor Richardson, don't let the Clintons give you more guilt trip.
It's not all on you. It's all on Hillary and Bill. They gave away their base to Obama all by themselves.

i believe that Richardson would be more aligned with Obama since both represented a strong anti war position and both support driver's licenses for undocumented workers. Hillary has equivocated on both changing her position based on these issues based on expedience.

Richardson would make a great cabinet member in an Obama admininstration heading Homeland Security or as Secretary of State with his international experience. He would serve any Democratic administration very well.

For those who support Barack Obama, let's maintain civility and temper our remarks . If we can work with Republicans we should be able to work with Clinton supporters as well. Insults and sexist remarks will not help. Let's take the high road!

i just finished Audacity of Hope which should be read by everyone who endeavors to find out where Obama is coming from.

Hope Richardson will support Hillary since she won in New Mexico and the Latino population in CA, AZ as well. It will be an illogical choice if he will choose Obama. The Latino population will be greatly disappointed if he will not choose HILLARY! She is the most qualified candidate to carry the Hispanic cause.

Why are you not reporting that Clinton told Texas Monthly that Texas does not matter???

They're not reporting that Clinton said "Texas does not matter" because she didn't. Here are her exact words, as posted on texasmonthly.com:

“I think it’s important for the DNC to ask itself, Is this really in the best interest of our eventual nominee? We do not want to be disenfranchising Michigan and Florida. We have to try to carry both of those states. I’d love to carry Texas, but it’s usually not in the electoral calculation for the Democratic nominee. Florida and Michigan are.”

She's talking about ELECTORAL votes in the general election – not DELEGATES for the nomination. And since the GOP has carried Texas each year since 1968, the two Democrats who won the presidency during that time (Carter and Clinton) did it WITHOUT Texas' electoral votes.

THAT'S what she said. Please get your facts straight, instead of spreading lies like so many on the right are doing nowadays.

Obamacan   February 26th, 2008 2:59 pm ET

Texas Monthly just aired a interview with her and she says she would love to carry Texas, but it is not a voting state that matters in the Presidential Nomination. ……CNN YOU SHOULD POST THESE COMMENTS.

I thought the big states matter now…she wants to seat Michigan even though she was the only person on the Ballot. Wake up……she wants to tarnish the Dem party and her families name…Way to go Hillary.

You go girl.

He's definitely going to endorse Obama- he (like most people) sees the writing on the wall that says it's over for Hillary. It's time for her to recognize this and bow out gracefully. She's ruining her image with these childish attacks that are tearing apart the Democratic Party.

Please, for the sake of party Hillary, end the madness!!

I love reading the Obama supporters suggest that Richardson should "jump on the Obama bandwagon". We are picking president, people! Bill Richardson is an intelligent man who knows that experience and vision matter. He should, and I believe he will, endorse Hillary Clinton. This matters- it's not about joining the latest craze to sweep America. We all know how those end…

We need Hillary!

It will be nice when some women get over their ego's and come to their senses about who is the best candidate. The one who doesn't polarize, one who isn't decisive, one who can and will bring about real change, one who can beat McCain, and the one who speaks the truth….Obama.

Hillary would have had a better chance to win 4 years ago, but a women running for President, to me, isn't a big deal anymore. There are plenty of women Governors and Senators, and personally feel that HRC would have had a better shot back in '04. And please don't tell me "it's her turn", or "she deserves a chance", that kind of speak is ridiculous.

Gary   February 26th, 2008 2:50 pm ET

After reading numerous comments on this post and many others , here is my observation:

Everyone has the right to their opinion on which candidiate they support…but all this bickeing and negative slandering towards each of the candidates from Democratic supporters is sad, idiotic and wont help the cause come November. If anyone has any interest on the candidates platforms go to their respective websites. You will find they are both very similar with only slight differences on how to accomplish them. Therefore the nomination process should be focused on whom would best be able to defeat the Republican nominee John McBush and secondly who would be best able to get 'results' on the issues they have put forward. Neither candiate has presidential experience. In fact neither has held a Commander/CEO/Executive post of anything. I think America is embracing change but can it ' achieve' it ?. America is certainly not embracing the 'old school' divisive/bipartisan way of politics to get things done. Either way, whomever wins the nomination, they should be supported by ALL true Democratic supporters and stop engaging in this nasty internal fighting that is all purely self-effacing. Grow up people !!! we have more important matters at hand. All these amazing and new Democrats, Independents and cross over Republicans will have been earned in vain if we lose in November. Isnt that the most important thing ?

Sarah L, Fayetteville, AR   February 26th, 2008 2:50 pm ET

I know it's off topic, but, Holy Moly, all the women Hillary supporters who say we should unite behind her because she is a woman, strong woman, blah blah blah…. are making me crazy. Stop the feminist nonsense. Nobody cares that Hillary is a woman. The notion that I, a young woman, should somehow support Hillary because she is too, is deeply offensive to me. I have my own functioning brain that I intend to use to pick who I think is the best candidate. Thank you very much.

Ken in Western NY   February 26th, 2008 2:48 pm ET

Richardson will endorse Obama. He'd be a fool to endorse Clinton.

Even the Time magazine issue of March 3rd states that if the election was held today, 48% would vote for Obama as opposed to 41% for McCain.

If Hillary ran against McCain, 46% would vote for Clinton, and 46% would vote for McCain.

I think Time Magazine is a well-respected magazine and doesn't make up figures to suit the preferences of the Chairman/CEO (who, by the way, is a woman).

Do endorsements really matter? How many people out there vote based on endorsements? I for one don't and I believe that many others out there feel the same way. And it doesn't seem like some of the bigger name endorsements such as Kennedy and Kerry did any good for Obama.

"The race is not over"

That sounds pretty optimistic to me if you are planning to back Hillary.

I say he will endorse her, not Obama. For greater effect, he will probably endorse her a day or two before the Texas primary in effort to swing Latino voters there.

I hope I am wrong though. At least we still have George Lopez. He can appeal to people in ways that politicians can't.

I feel a strong personal dislike for Obama and his wife. However, I'm trying to think positive. McCain will crush him in November and after GOP is done with Obama, his political career will be over. On the other side, if Clinton wins the nomiantion, he'd have a reasonable chances in 4 or 8 years. So this is good. Then, on Nov. 05 Clintons and their supporters will go after people who owed them so much but betrayed them – not black community (impossible), but Kennedy, Dodd, Kerry and other ultra-liberals from the party. They'll say "We've been warning you for a year! This is all your fault that you we've lost an election we were obligated to win" After that I hope there will be a major overhaul in Democratic party leadership and we'll look for Hillary or Al Gore for 2012.
This is my prediction – too bad that we can't have HRC as a President now.

Veronica   February 26th, 2008 2:47 pm ET

Bill Richardson should endorse Hillary Clinton. He has experience and should be able to see that Barack Obama does not. I hope he'e doesn't just go with the flow and try to go with the winner. I think may of the former candidates are vying for vice president.

It will be no surprise to anyone that Richardson will probably endorse Clinton. Bill was in New Mexico courting Richardson during the Super ball game and I guess it is now for Richardson to pay back his dues to Clintons. However significant this endorsement may be for Clintons it will not help her this time with the Latino vote. Many American-Hispanic voters are disillusioned with Clintons changing messages on immigration and driving license debates. I guess Hispanic and other minorities’ votes matter to Clintons only in time of election. Richardson should not naively sell out his vote! Hispanics will give much of their vote to Obama.

Vote for Obama!

New Mexicans voted for Hillary. She won 14 of the state's 26 pledged delegates to Obama's 12. Hopefully Governor Richardson follows the will of the voters in New Mexico and throws his support behind Sen. Clinton, coincidentally, the stronger and more experienced candidate.

Where is the story about the Secret Service halting their security detail at Obama events?

Where is the story about John McCain having a history of extra-marital affairs, i.e. cheating on his former wife with his current wife?

Ex-Gov. Richardson get onboard, Senator Obama again got a great endorsement from one of his peers and one from Hillary's friend the ex-mayor of Cleveland today. It sounds like a lot of subliminal racism going on in this race on both sides, Democrat and Republican. Senator Mc Cain likes over emphasizing Senator Obama's middle name and Hillary tries to show that the good senator has African ancestry in his blood. I wonder if Senator Obama wasn’t running, where would the racial overtones surface. Archeologists say that all modern humans have African genes in their blood. Stop the pettiness Hillary and tell me what are you going to do for the country and those millions of Americans that aren't wealthy. Bow Out and GO OBAMA! America's Choice!

Anonymous   February 26th, 2008 2:41 pm ET

I think Richardson should endorse Obama which would solidify the hispanic base and in return Obama should pick him as his VP.

Ben   February 26th, 2008 2:41 pm ET

As an Obama supporter, I hope that Richardson chooses to support Obama. However, the more important issue here is what appears to be a growing division within the Democratic party. While a few comments on CNN do not make a trend, it is disturbing to see people say that they will vote for McCain if their candidate doesn't win. I would prefer Obama, but I would vote for Hillary in a heartbeat over McCain.

I personally hope that these comments are just being left by conservatives in the hope of fracturing those leaning towards voting for a Democrat. Considering the disturbingly frank racism in some of these posts, I truly hope that these people are not Democrats.

experience does not run well because of all the "kids" who want to "change", but to change what? Kids, parents are the ones who feed you, buy you clothes, things, put you through schools. What would you do without them – the older ones?
It is shame that this country does not have respect for wisdom, experience ( but if you want a job, you must have experience – I remember my younger years – every place wanted a "experience").
There is also one and very true truth: One is as young as he/she feels and thinks.
I would not go without experience -all those "mean" leaders, dictators are just waiting for someone inexperienced, naive to get in White house…the reasons? Just think about it.

Last week, Mr Richardson did an interview and said the Democratic party super delegates must back the candidate chosen by the pledged delegates. In this interview, he was very adamant in this belief.

Praetorian, Ft. Myers, FL   February 26th, 2008 2:30 pm ET

Mabye if he'd had the beard during his campaign more people would have taken him seriously.

Now he has a second moment in the sun!!

Who will he choose!!!

Will he decide before Texas!!

Heck no–his vote will go to the survivor of Texas!!

If he's going to hitch to someone's coat tails it will have to be someone who generates hispanic support on their own.

Maxine   February 26th, 2008 2:30 pm ET

He will go for Clinton. He has more history with them than most. Also, she is promising the world right now to get these endorsements. I think these endorsers should really look at how she is percieving in this campagin and ask themselves is this how I want people to see me. I am sorry my respect for the Clintons is going down fast. Let's play adults and quit trying to drag our fellow Dem through the gutter.

Racist remarks, e-mail lies and now photos that lead you to think there might be a connection with the Musslim nation. Is this still how we want to look to the rest of the world?

Mr. Richardson you need to remember this when you make your decision. Even though I feel he will go with Clinton.

jt   February 26th, 2008 2:29 pm ET

Make the right choice. Endorse Hillary!!

Hope and dream are good but we need experience to get the job done right now.

Mischelle from Illinois   February 26th, 2008 2:29 pm ET

And he is holding out because…….???? LOVE the new look! He should have worn it during the campaign. Seriously….

john2   February 26th, 2008 2:29 pm ET

I would like to endorse Harry S. Truman. He knew the value of health care and he new the value of a dollar.

Marnie, KY   February 26th, 2008 2:28 pm ET

Oh, who is he kidding–he's been in the Clinton pocket forever. Didn't he and Bill watch the Superbowl together? I doubt if this annoucement will be a big surprise. He'll wait until after March 4th, and then jump on anybody's bandwagon.

O/08

E Popp   February 26th, 2008 2:28 pm ET

Mr. Richardson, I hope you're reading these. Please don't step into the fray, unless it's to announce your Vice Presidential candidacy.

If you can't resist, I urge you to back Hillary, the most qualified person to get the job done in Washington and around the world. She's earned it.

Kristine Kravis   February 26th, 2008 2:28 pm ET

Senator Richardson, please endorse Hillary Clinton. The inspirational and effective candidate for the Presidency, who will not be bringing a very young family into the Oval Office, and will have the mature motivation and be able to attend to the official matters at hand. The Clinton's know the White House and the situation. This Nation will never have an opportunity like this again. We cannot afford not to take the offer of their experienced public service and promoted agenda.

mariposa for life   February 26th, 2008 2:28 pm ET

CNN was this really a story?

Asked if the endorsement could come within the next couple of days, the New Mexico governor replied, "Possibly, yes."

Richardson, a former member of the Clinton administration, wouldn't hint at which candidate he was leaning towards, and said it's still possible he may make no endorsement.

I think Richardson summed the whole thing up best when he said "I just have felt that an endorsement by me, I don't think it is that significant," he said. "But I still might do it."

Wake me up when he finally makes a decision!! How very "presidential" of him!!!

cp   February 26th, 2008 2:27 pm ET

"And obviously I ran on the experience mantle. It didn't work out too well." qoute

hope Hillary is listening

Adesuwa   February 26th, 2008 2:27 pm ET

CNN, I bet that if Richardson endorses Hillary you'll give it as narrow a coverage as possible but if he endorses Obama we won't hear the last of it.
And by the way why don't you make a ticker out of Farakhan's endorsement of Obama and Obama's silence on the said endorsement (not distancing himself from it)? Are you afraid to publish the true views of the American people? And tell me, would Farakhan endorse Obama if Obama were not a black Muslim like himself? Does he find in Obama a soulmate for his semitism and Black versus Jews war?
And will you be brave enough to publish my comments, especially as they do not favour Obama?

U.S. Army Vet.   February 26th, 2008 2:26 pm ET

Richardson, a former member of the Clinton administration, yet another Clinton crony.

Gary in CT   February 26th, 2008 2:26 pm ET

Can you imagine the incredable amount of pressure currantly being placed on Bill Richardson? WOW!

He's a politician though, and as such, will do what's best for Bill Richardson. If he had come out prior to Super Tuesday, no one would have been surprised to see him come out for Hillary. That was then. He has a poitical career ahead of him and he can read the writing on the wall. My money says, unless Obama falls on his sword in tonight's debate, he comes out tomorrow for Obama.

jake   February 26th, 2008 2:26 pm ET

why this article? Isn't it like 2weeks old?

Dale Wise   February 26th, 2008 2:26 pm ET

Wow, what an incredibly relevant article. You could simply wait until he actually makes an endorsement before reporting it. Then there would actually be something to report.

eddie   February 26th, 2008 2:25 pm ET

If he were smart, he will vote clinton. Obama will divide this party and if he becomes our nominee, I will not vote and become an ind

U.S. Army Vet.   February 26th, 2008 2:25 pm ET

Yet another Clinton crony.

Jean Alex   February 26th, 2008 2:25 pm ET

Mr. Richardson, Please endorse Senator Obama, if you endorse Hillary, I will still respect you though.

My top choices for Obama's VPs are
1. John Edwards
2. Bill Richardson
3. Joe Biden
4. Chris Dodd

CNN, Please show my comment for once

GS   February 26th, 2008 2:25 pm ET

What happened to the good old days with the news media simply and fairly reported the news and did not endorse anyone? The media has almost immediately pushed Obama to the forefront while almost totally ignoring Edwards, Huckaby and Romney. Hillary can't do anything to please the news media. Romney and Edwards dropped out. Huckaby won't go away. Hillary is always being criticized and never does anything right according to the media. Then when it appeared that the race would be between McCain and Obama, the media comes out with that awful story intimating that McCain had an inappropriate relationship. What is it about this Obama guy that has all of you buffaloed? Have you ever heard of a wolf in sheep's clothing? Does he has "something" on the news media that would make the media so very, very obviously biased and unfair? You have done a great disservice to the other candidates and I won't vote for Obama just because the media has been cramming him down our throats for months. The media should just report the news, fairly and impartially…….and not endorse anyone.

Bob   February 26th, 2008 2:24 pm ET

Wow… Who cares who that grizzly man endorses!

LINDA K. IA.   February 26th, 2008 2:24 pm ET

Come on! Endorse Hillary now!

ready for some action   February 26th, 2008 2:24 pm ET

i love richardson. i hope he endorses obama :)

long live the neck beard!!

Svanbasten, Atlanta   February 26th, 2008 2:24 pm ET

Hey, Mr Richardson, you are now behaving like a bride to be being courted and your endorsement at this time possibly has no weight.

You have been at for several weeks saying you will endorse either Hillary or Barack then maybe not and are enjoying their attention very much..

Goes to show what type of President you would have made.

Keep your endorsement – we already got the important one's, besides after March 4th this thing is over and your Latino's are independent thinkers you don't need you to sway them which side to go.

How about concentrating on manicuring the beard.

seektruth   February 26th, 2008 2:23 pm ET

He is going to endorse Obama! Change versus experience , judgement versus experience! with all the respect to Clinton' hardworking and intelligence, but we do need a leader with vision and good judgement.

Jane   February 26th, 2008 2:23 pm ET

I have seen you a few times on TV….always "insinuating" that you would be endorsing someone soon…when it is clear that you will be endorsing Baraka Hussein Obama. Quite frankly, it does not matter to Clinton's supporters. She has many high-ranking officials endorsing her also. Go ahead, make our day!

reader-of-many-sources   February 26th, 2008 2:23 pm ET

Obama – Richardson would make a great ticket in `08.

Jim, American in Paris   February 26th, 2008 2:22 pm ET

The Amercian Southwest is counting on you to support the candidate who has always represented your constituents in politics and for a long time. Don't let her down and don't let the people you represent down.

RR   February 26th, 2008 2:21 pm ET

Please Bill endorce Obama. He can help the hispanics, whites, balcks, men, women, young and old.

RSP   February 26th, 2008 2:21 pm ET

Hispanics represent 15% of our population, and are a vital part of our economy, and our social and political landscape.

The Hispanic vote carried Hillary in California. I would hope that Governor Richardson be respectful of the many Hispanic voters who admire, and are not intimidated or afraid of, a strong woman in the White House.

Hispanics will carry Hillary to victory in November. They are a vital part of our country, and need to be heard. They are not fooled by "hope" and "vision". They vote for experience, knowing that a weak America will not fulfill their dreams.

Johnson   February 26th, 2008 2:20 pm ET

Nice mustache. I didn't even recognize him. Wonder if he will make his endorsement before or after march 4th.

True Democrat   February 26th, 2008 2:20 pm ET

I don't know why the Hillary keeps pushing a "busted" set of healthcare plans. Her campaign simply doesn't give people any credit. Quietly, and on their own time, people research the plans and compare them. Sure, her proposal woud theoretically cover more people, but it's clumsy and punative. Obama's plan, in lcear irony with Hillary's attack points, is a far more realistic step towards, perhaps an eventual univerical healthcare system.

jp/michigan   February 26th, 2008 2:19 pm ET

Richardsons endorsement would be welcomed by either candidate. I hope he makes the right choice. and can live with that choice. Same goes for Dodd, I hope he can live with his choice.

AJ   February 26th, 2008 2:19 pm ET

richardson will no doubt be another member of the foemer Clinton cabinet to decamp and endorse Obama. He will go with the national trend instead of doing what is right for America. Obama is a national disaster waiting to happen. And why is no one investigating Obama's shady land deal? Or his fundraising? Obama is as crooked as they come and the democratic electorate is too stupid to see it. He's the trendy and hip candidate, and in America, superficial is where it's at. I hope if Obama wins, Bill Clinton will move his offices out of Harlem and the Clintons in general turn their backs on the black community. And I pray that Hillary stays in the Senate and starts opposing any bills making college tuition more affordable.I hope Hillary stops fighting for the folks that are losing their houses because of idiotic financing choices. Blacks and the young college crowd are flocking to Obama. I hope Hillary makes these disgusting people pay the price.

John   February 26th, 2008 2:19 pm ET

CNN POST THIS COMMENT!!!

richardson, you better endorse clinton!

Jenny, Rio Vista, CA   February 26th, 2008 2:19 pm ET

After Richardson dropped out of the race he said in an interview that politicians shouldn't be in the business of endorsing other politicians. I respected him for that. I continued to respect him because he stuck to his word and didn't endorse anyone. Bill I think you should stick to what you said and stay neutral.

Victoria   February 26th, 2008 2:18 pm ET

Ohhhhhhhh my goodness,

Buy a RAZOR. Bill ! ! !

It's hard to take you serious in that HORRIBLE excuse for a BEARD!

As a resident of your state……..PLEASE, PLEASE SHAVE!

June   February 26th, 2008 2:18 pm ET

How is this race close with Obama having a 150 pledged delegate lead? Clinton must blow him out in the coming states to catch up. She has yet to do so, save Arkansas, which is due to Bill Clinton, not her. I know, I know, if she can cheat with MI and FL, and browbeat superdelegates then you never know.

I do wish that whoever is going to endorse would just do it already -whether it be for Obama or Clinton. Edwards, you listening?! Then we can stay focused on the issues.

jm   February 26th, 2008 2:18 pm ET

Please for the sake of the country endorse Hillary

Al in Wpg   February 26th, 2008 2:17 pm ET

"I don't think this race is over"

there's your answer.

RSP   February 26th, 2008 2:17 pm ET

I would hope that Governor Richardson sides with his fellow Hispanics and votes for the strong woman candidate, Senator Clinton. Hispanics carried California for Senator Clinton. They are not afraid of a strong woman, and can see through all the "hype" of the Obama campaign.

For the strength of the Democratic Party in November, Governor Richardson needs to remember this…

All it takes to make Americans change their support from Obama to McCain is a kernel of fear, fear that Obama doesn't have experience to tackle the worlds' problems.

The Obama campaign is "faith-based", which is suprising, since most Democrats chide the Republican right of making decisions based on faith. Because the adoration Obama supporters is not based on logic, but on "hope" it will not stand up to criticism by the Republicans, or anyone with facts concerning Obama's record or past decisions.

Dave   February 26th, 2008 2:16 pm ET

Change vs. experienced. I choose experience because it is less risk.

Chicano Art   February 26th, 2008 2:16 pm ET

Gov. Richardson often fought at debates that experience should be seen as a positive. He did not feel that somebody with vast experience should be looked at with disdain. Many of his views have been adopted by Hillary and Osama, such as investment in alternative energies as a way to boost the economy.
Gov. Richardson has said in the past he feels he represents Chicanos, and they have voted for Hillary in the Past. I believe that Gov. Richardson will support Hillary Clinton.
Viva Clinton.

PDC   February 26th, 2008 2:16 pm ET

Better Hearing & Speech Month.

The Hillary experience at it's best!

Long-term Memory   February 26th, 2008 2:16 pm ET

At least Richardson's endorsement of either candidate will mean more than Dodd's, whose affiliation with Arthur Andersen and Enron should be cause for concern for Barak Obama, especially as Texans get ready to vote.

Charles   February 26th, 2008 2:15 pm ET

Richardson would an excellant VP for either candidate. He has the temperment and the experience to really compliment Obama and the quiet reserve to balance out Hillary and her co-President Bill. He puts the southwest and Colorado in play. He forces the GOP to spend money to defend Texas and other states with huge Latino populations that the GOP normally count on, especially Florida. If he's smart he won't endorse anyone and keep his options open by the time the convention rolls around.

Tyler in Raleigh   February 26th, 2008 2:15 pm ET

Why doesnt he wait until March the 5th… when it will be completely useless.

Why do these politicians need to keep in the limelight by any means necessary. Stop being coy and trying to get another 15 minutes. Either endorse someone or not, but move on.

THE RED MAN   February 26th, 2008 2:14 pm ET

BILL, YOUR NOT BUYING INTO OBAMA MANIA I HOPE.
THIS COUNTRY IS LONG AND I MEAN LONG OVER DUE FOR A WOMAN PRESIDENT.
I'LL VOTE FOR A WOMAN OR I'LL CAST A BALLOT FOR THE WAR HERO. IT'S UP TO THE DEMOCRATS WHO THIS INDEPENDENT VOTES FOR.

MISSOURI

J.C.T.   February 26th, 2008 2:14 pm ET

RICHARDSON SHOULD ENDORSE HILARY CLINTON .OTHERWISE HE WILL BE FIRED AS GOVERNOR BY THE LATINOS IN NEW MEXICO.

Paul Naranjo   February 26th, 2008 2:13 pm ET

Governor Richardson
Latinos are stron supporters of Senator Clinton. We look forward to hear from you.
Estamos con Hillary

Hillary for President
Hillary President ' cause experience matters more than "just words…"

Nancy   February 26th, 2008 2:13 pm ET

I'm fairly certain he will endorse Obama. If it wasn't for the personal ties to the Clinton's, he would have done it earlier. If he wanted to endorse the Clintons, he would feel no pressure to be sensitive to Obama.

Why does CNN only care about the men who make endorsements? I think that CNN's bias toward Obama has as much to do with gender.

Women Unite, Hillary!

Kyle Indianapolis, Indiana   February 26th, 2008 2:13 pm ET

Make an edorsement and make it soon!

John Smith   February 26th, 2008 2:13 pm ET

He's a coward. His endorsement should have come weeks ago.
He's gonna jump on the Obama bandwagon because its moving in his direction. A man of real courage would have made an endorsement weeks ago.

bp   February 26th, 2008 2:13 pm ET

How long has Richardson been toying with an endorsement? This back-and-forth "maybe I will, maybe I won't" does nothing.

Matthew   February 26th, 2008 2:13 pm ET

I'm sure if the Obama camp has anything to do with they'll pay him for an endorsement to. It worked great with Ted Kennedy. I'm sure Oprama will inspire us with another speech that he stole.

Kelley   February 26th, 2008 2:12 pm ET

Hey Richardson look at the past. THe latest negative innuendos of BO are just like the ones that Hillary said about Gahndi. Remeber when she said he ran a gas station. She truly regretted saying that and meant it only as a joke. Google it ! I believe she is truly racist against anyone that is not aCLINTON

Jorge   February 26th, 2008 2:10 pm ET

Good he is finally going to endorse Barack Obama!!!!!!!
I know you will do the right thing Bill !!

California Independent   February 26th, 2008 2:10 pm ET

Hint, hint…. Change versus experienc… experience doesn't work.

come in to the light, come in to the liiiiiiiight…… your broken soul will be healed.
